The woman nodded.

“I’d like to pay them off as quickly as possible,” Abby continued. “And save a little money at the same time. Not a lot jobs pay that well.”

The woman smiled. “No. Not around here. And not in this economy. Have you done this kind of work before?”

“No. But I knew someone who did. In another city. She said it pays well and the agency takes care of almost everything.”

“True. We book your appointments for you. And bill the client. We give you a paycheck, courtesy of Blue Orchid Floral Services, which you don’t have to hide from the IRS. Of course, any tips you make are yours to keep.”

Abby nodded enthusiastically.

“We’ll need to set you up with our photographer, for head and body shots.”

Abby made a small noise of protest. Helen raised her hand. Absolutely nothing is available online. We keep portfolios here, which the clients are able to look through at their leisure. They choose from the book and we make the appointment. There will be total anonymity for you. You’ll even choose a stage name so that none of the clients know your real name.”

Abby settled back into the chair, trying to appear appeased by this explanation.

“Now that we’ve gone through the basics. I’d like to get a better idea of what we’ll be offering.”

It took Abby a moment before she realized Helen wanted her to stand up. She put her purse on the chair and stood in front of Helen, squaring her shoulders.

“Can you take your hair down, please?”

Abby reached up and shook out her hair, letting it fall across her shoulders. Helen waved her hand slightly and Abby unbuttoned her blazer. She draped it across the chair behind her. Helen waited, expectantly, and Abby drew in a deep breath. She was reminded of Sabrina’s visit and the jangle of nerves she’d felt when she’d been in this situation before. But she’d survived once, and she could do it again. Running out now might make Helen suspicious, and if Helen called Kessler to say a mysterious redhead had come through the doors for an ‘interview’ it could end badly.

Abby slowly unzipped her skirt and pushed it down over her hips. She stepped out of it and placed it on the chair as well. She unbuttoned her blouse and shrugged it off. She stood in front of Helen in her high heels, thigh high stockings, panties, and bra.

“Very nice,” Helen commented.

Abby turned around without being asked.

“You do anal?” Helen asked, with no small hint of surprised. Abby tried to hide her blush as she realized Helen could see the base of her plug. She cleared her throat.

“Yes, ma’am.”

“A pleasant surprise.”

Abby finished her turn and Helen gestured for her to take her bra down. Abby took hold of the straps and revealed her breasts to the older woman, who merely nodded in approval.

“I’ll set you up with the photographer on Friday,” Helen declared. “We have a small room here. I’ll also book you with a long-time client for Saturday night. He enjoys reviewing our new talent for us.”

Abby suppressed the urge to gag. Everybody wants a hooker, but only on their first day.

She quickly got re-dressed and left the office. The receptionist handed her an appointment card, that Abby took only to keep up the charade, but she tossed it directly into the garbage can outside the building’s front doors. She flopped into the driver’s seat of her car and took a deep, steadying breath. That had definitely been more than she’d bargained for. She didn’t want to return to the Custer right now and it was too early to go home. So she cranked the engine of her toyota and headed across town.

She pulled into the gravel lot of Burnout and parked beside Mark’s Hummer. She got out and headed to the garage. Easy spotted her first and waved at her. As she stepped from the crushed stone onto the concrete, Mark crossed to her and leaned in to give her a kiss, careful to keep his dirty hands off her.

“Hey, baby,” he said. “What’s up?”

“Nothing,” she replied. “I was just...around...and thought I’d see you.

Shooter came into the bay from the office. “Need more parts for your car, Vegas?” he called out.

She smiled and shook her head. “Not today,” she called back.

It seemed deceitful and wrong not to tell Mark what had happened. Plus, she was still kind of weirded out by the whole thing.

“You okay, Vegas?” Hawk asked. Mark continued to gaze at her.

She cleared her throat. “I had a job interview today,” she declared.

Mark frowned. “I thought you loved the hotel.”

“I do! I’m not taking the job. I just went to check the place out and I ended up having an interview, instead.”

“For what?”

Abby cleared her throat again. “Escort.”

Mark’s eyes narrowed. Hawk, Shooter, and Easy stopped what they were doing and stepped a little closer.

“Better be careful, Vegas,” Hawk warned. “That’s his Hillbilly Hulk face. The man is not happy. You better do some fast talking.”

“How do you interview to be a hooker?” Easy asked.

Abby looked at Mark, and indeed he looked angry. “It was only an interview. A lot like the
interview
to be your girlfriend.” Mark’s face got impossibly darker and he dropped the rag he’d been cleaning his hands with.

“Meaning what?” Easy asked.

“I think it means she got naked,” Shooter replied.

“I just went to check the place out,” Abby insisted. “I didn’t even know it was an escort agency. It was just a weird company on the vendor list for the hotel and I was looking into it. I didn’t want to run out and look suspicious. So I had an interview, to play along.” She smiled weakly. “Apparently I passed because they want me back for pictures and an audition. Which I’m totally not going to!” she added.

“Office,” Mark ordered. “
Now
.”

“Ooooh,” Easy murmured. Abby ignored him, but she still hesitated.

“Don’t make me repeat myself, pet.”

That got Abby moving and she moved swiftly toward the office door on the other side of the garage. Once inside, Mark slammed the door. He managed to maneuver Abby up against it without getting grease on her suit. His large hands were spread out on either side of her, though, flat against the door, pinning her.

“Did another man put his hands on you?” he demanded softly.

Abby shook her head vehemently, looking him squarely in the eye. “No. There was no man. It was a woman. And she had me take my suit and bra off. That’s all. She just wanted to look.”

“You should have left.”

“I didn’t want to look suspicious. I didn’t want my boss to find out.”

“Your boss is selling pussy out of the hotel?”

Abby nodded. Mark’s jaw twitched.

“That was dangerous, Abby.”

“I didn’t know what it was.”

“Some people in this town take their criminal activities very seriously. Your boss might be one of those people. Do not go there again.”

She shook her head. “I won’t. I swear. I really didn’t know.”

Mark leaned further into her, his cock pressing into her belly. “Pet,” he said darkly. “You show yourself off again outside of my presence, I’ll strip you naked and parade you around on the end of my leash.”

Abby gasped, partly in surprise, and partly from desire since he was so close.

“I want to cum,” he announced.

Abby licked her lips in anticipation.

“I can take you,” he informed her. “But you’d get all dirty and have to go back to work. Or you can get on your knees and suck me off. Choose, pet. And don’t keep me waiting.”

Abby didn’t hesitate. She kicked off her heels and pushed them aside. She knelt down on the floor in front of Mark, placing the soles of her feet against the door. She reached up and unzipped his fly. She pulled his jeans and boxer briefs down enough for his long, thick shaft to spring out. She tugged a little more until his pants were around his thighs, giving her enough room to work.

She placed her hands behind her back and leaned forward, taking one of his balls into her mouth. He was already rock hard and so it wasn’t necessary to warm him up. She licked and laved got his balls soaking wet with her mouth, pausing only to look up at him periodically to see that he was pleased.

His hands remained flat on the door as he watched her intently. She gave him a small smile as she licked her way up his shaft to the head and then took as much in as she could. Mark didn’t want his dirty hands in her hair and so she understood it was up to her to do the work. She took the hard length of him as far into her throat as she could, only gagging a bit before pulling back out. She repeated the process, attempting to swallow him down, which worked well.

Mark thrust his hips forward enough to move her back and she soon found herself pinned against the wall. Having experienced this before, she closed her eyes and relaxed her jaw to give Mark unfettered access to her throat for fucking.

It was the work of a few dozen thrusts before he unloaded down her throat. She swallowed quickly to get it all down. When his cock stopped throbbing, she released him with a gentle pop from her mouth and licked him clean.

He fastened his jeans and she was barely back on her feet before he had her pressed against the door again. This time he took her mouth with his own while she gripped his biceps with both hands, trying to draw him in as close as he could get.

“I want to see you again tonight,” he whispered against her lips.

“Yes, Sir,” she panted.

CHAPTER THIRTY THREE

On Thursday, Abby and Tex appeared to arrive before everyone else at the Sullivan house. At least that’s what they thought when they turned into the large circular drive. But one look at Shooter’s ashen face when he opened the front door told them otherwise. He half-hearted waved his cell phone at them. “Tried to call,” he said.

“What’s wrong?” Tex asked.

Shooter shook his head and sighed.

“Where’s Sarah?” Abby asked, looking around.

“Upstairs,” the older man replied. “Bathroom.”

Abby headed for the stairs while the men hovered in the living room.

Shooter shook his head again and pocketed his phone. “Test was negative,” he told Tex.

Tex felt his heart squeeze a little. “Fuck,” he muttered. “I’m sorry.”

Shooter flopped onto his own couch and stared at the ceiling as though it wasn’t the only separating him from his wife. “I just want help her. I just want to make this okay. But I can’t. I don’t know how to fix this.”

Tex took the nearby chair. “What does the doctor say?”

“Doctor says wait. Give it time. Give it a
year
, they say, before they start tests. But you know Sarah.” The older man fisted his hands in frustration. “She lost so
much
time because of that fucker. She’s waited so long to have something even approaching normal. She doesn’t want to wait anymore, Mark.”

Tex nodded. “Slick’s used to taking what she wants. Making things happen for herself. It’s her way.”

On the bathroom floor, Abby sat beside Sarah who was wiping tears from her cheeks. “I just had this whole plan, you know?” Sarah told her. “I came back and we got married. Right away. I sort of demanded it. We didn’t do it the normal way. No wedding shower, no bachelor party, no honeymoon even. Not really. Just a week here in this house by ourselves.”

She smiled as she remembered better times.

“I thought I’d get pregnant right away. And I figured we’d just, I don’t know, keep going, you know? Babies, and barbecues, and Poker Night. Forever. Because that’s how it’s supposed to be.” Sarah sighed. “I’m a terrible person.”

Abby gasped. “What?! No, you’re not!”

Sarah nodded. “Yeah, I am. Chris should be enough. I had nothing before I met him. Nothing and no one. I should just be grateful that I have this much. I shouldn’t feel this way.”

Abby got to her knees and leaned forward. She took hold of Sarah’s shoulders. “You have every right to feel this way,” Abby insisted. “And you deserve more than you have. So much more. You deserve everything you want.”
