A man stood in the window and stared out. The garden was in full bloom and he watched as a woman played with a small girl. They ran and laughed together, happy it would seem. He then turned as he saw them walking towards the front of the house and he met them there, swinging the door wide open and allowing the sun to filter in. He loved the light, he had taken everything dark from the house and opened every window to allow fresh air and new life into it.

The woman picked up the small girl and she giggled. Zoey then kissed her cheek. The man then took her and the three of them turned to stare up the long lane leading up to the house. August leaned over and kissed his daughters cheek and whispered “I love you Miko” as it settled on the wind and collected the Gold Crown, once and for all.
