Red Queen

Ingredients

2 kale leaves

1 medium beet

1 gala apple

¼ red cabbage

1 bunch red grapes

Juice.

Long live the queen. Super sweet, sassy, and deep, dark red, Red Queen is one smart drink. Grape

juice promotes brain health and memory function. Red cabbage is rich in iodine, which also promotes

proper brain and nervous system function. One sip and you’ll be singing the Red Queen’s “Off with

the cabbage head!” Just remember what the dormouse said, “Feed your head!”

Beetle Juice

Ingredients

1 yellow bell pepper

1 Fuji apple

1 small crown broccoli

1 small beet

½ sweet potato

1 handful parsley

2 carrots

Juice.

Saying it three times in succession may not raise the dead, but it will certainly raise your spirits and

your energy levels. Bell pepper is a natural immune booster and coupled with broccoli, you’ve got

yourself one helluva free-radical fighter. Eating sweet root vegetables like beets and sweet potato

helps calm sugar cravings, so put down that donut and drink your veggies.

Hot Rocket

Ingredients

2 Gala apples

2 handfuls of arugula

1 handful of cilantro

2 cups coconut water/milk

1 smidgen of jalapeño (to taste)

soy sauce to taste

Juice and mix with coconut water and soy sauce.

This one is a bit different. We’ve got very bold and spicy flavors here. The coconut water, jalapeño,

and salty soy sauce combine to give Hot Rocket a kind of Thai flavor while the cilantro brings back the

Mexican flare.

Cilantro is also great for removing heavy metals from the bloodstream and jalapeños can raise your

body temperature thereby increasing your metabolic rate. The healthy fats in the coconut milk will

allow increase in mineral absorption from the arugula and cilantro.

Dande-Lemon

Ingredients

1 bunch dandelion greens

1 bulb radicchio

ginger to taste

1 lemon (juiced, to taste)

dash cayenne

Juice and mix in cayenne.

The ginger, lemon, and cayenne do a great job of taming the bitterness of the blood-and liver-

purifying dandelion greens. This is like a supedup lemonade. Master Cleanse aficionados will

appreciate the lemon juice–cayenne pairing, which increases your body’s fat-burning power and

strengthens your immune system. Not much else to say except, it’s really dandy.
