Megas Archon (Archon)
– Supreme leader of the Council. Elected by two-thirds majority of the Thesmothetai.

New Beijing
– Second colony established on the lunar surface in 2045. Originally funded by the Federation and meant as a counter balance to the perceived influence of the Alliance and Apollo City.

New Tranquility
– Final colony established on the lunar surface in 2095. It was originally intended to be a resort-style vacation destination. Never fulfilled its true purpose as the cold war between the Three Nations spiraled out of control.

Polemarch
– Appointed by the Council Archon to oversee all military, lunar and scientific policy for the Council. It is considered a pre-cursor to eventual ascension to the role of Archon.

Prebeo –
The third colony established on the lunar surface. In addition to mining H-3, it was constructed to serve as the central core to all food production, including livestock and produce.

Sino-Russian Federation (SRF)
– Socialist, semi-presidential republic formed in the second half of the twenty-first century. Primary territories include Eurasia, Russia and China.

The Council
– International organization comprised of the leaders from the world religions. Formerly titled the Concerned Group of Religious Leaders. Currently serves as the peace keeping force between the Three Nations and helped to establish the current treaty between them.

The Island
– Military school operated by the Council and overseen by the Polemarch. Students are trained from childhood into the elite fighting force known as the Angele Dei.

Thesmothetai
– Plural title given to all sitting members of the Council. Comprised of the leaders from all the major religions in the world.

Three Nations Treaty –
Drafted by the Council after years of negotiations between the Three Nations to settle the world’s energy crisis. Governs international relations and the distribution of H-3.

United Islamic Empire (UIE) –
Islamic republic formed from the merger of the Arab League and African Union. Ruled by a Caliphate believed to have a direct connection to God.

Vice Councilman
– Title given to members that are part of the inner-circle of the Council. They hold a superior position to the general assembly of the Thesmothetai, and are traditionally members of the Christian, Muslim and Buddhist faiths.
