“Don’t apologize,” she told him. “I could
have stopped you and I didn’t.” She reached out to caress his cheek
and he shuddered in response.

Spinning around, Martin paced the length of
the room and then sat on the corner of the bed. Running his hands
through his hair, he shook his head. “I don’t want to move too fast
for you. I don’t want you to think my only purpose is to get you
into bed. We’ve both had a lot to drink, and I don’t want to take
advantage.”

“Martin,” she said his name softly and he
looked up at her. “I don’t think that. In fact, you’re probably one
of the only men I’ve ever met who hasn’t looked at me and
automatically wondered what it would be like to sleep with me.”

Martin released a harsh laugh. “Hardly.
Believe me, I wondered.”

She sat down next to him and laid a hand on
his shoulder. “Perhaps, but you never acted on it. You never leaned
over me at my desk so you could look down my top. You never stood
too close so you could brush up against me. You never made sexual
innuendos or asked me out or anything inappropriate.”

“No,” he shook his head. “Has that happened
to you a lot?”

Bianca laughed. “Oh my god, all the time!”
She smiled at him. “That’s why you’re different. That’s why I would
be crazy enough to even consider starting something with my boss. I
mean, it could go so badly, but I know you’re a good man. If I
could make it work with anyone, it would be you.”

“Well, thank you,” he responded heavily.
“I’m not sure I deserve your confidence.” He shook his head. “If
you only knew some of the things I’ve thought over the last three
years since you started working for me.”

What kind of
things?
The little voice inside her wondered.
Naughty things? You know how you like the naughty
things.

The image of Bianca’s first time with Mason
and how he had blindfolded and tied her to his bed flashed through
her mind. She felt a flush of heat shoot straight to her core.

Forget Mason,
the voice growled.
Martin is right
here, right now, and so much better for you. And for all you know,
he’s a little naughty too.

Bianca knew the martinis were partially
responsible for her daring, but she didn’t care. She lifted a
finger and ran it gently along his jawline. “What kind of things
did you think about?” she asked.

Martin looked at her, his nostrils flaring.
“What are you doing?” he whispered. “Are you trying to tempt
me?”

She dropped her hand to his thigh, kneading
it softly, and let her gaze drop a bit before looking back up at
him through her lashes. “Maybe,” she purred. “Is it working?”

He inhaled sharply. “You little tease,” he
growled.

His words reminded her of Mason, and then
the time for thinking was over. Martin pushed her back on the bed,
his lips finding hers. His tongue probed, and she opened to him,
nearly squirming from the delicious sensation as he ravished her
mouth.

His hands swept down the length of her body
until he reached the hem of her skirt, and he pulled it up to allow
his hand access to the creamy flesh underneath. His fingers felt
like molten lava on her thigh and she moaned.

He tore his mouth from hers and began
blazing a trail down her neck. “Oh, Bianca,” he gasped as he
lavished the base of her neck with tender love bites. “You’re so
damned beautiful. I can hardly stand it.”

Bianca writhed beneath him. Reaching up, she
tugged at his shirt, pulling it out of his pants. He quickly
stripped it off for her and she let her hands wander over his toned
chest, across his flat belly, until she reached his back, grazing
it with her fingernails.

Martin sucked in a breath, arching at her
touch. He gazed down at her. “You’re going to have to take the lead
here, sweetheart,” he told her. “I don’t want to do anything you
aren’t ready for.”

She smiled at him. “You talk too much,” she
whispered. “Show me what you want, and if it’s too much, I’ll stop
you.” She let her hands wander over his bare skin again and he
shuddered.

“I’m going to unbutton your blouse,” he
murmured and reached down with shaking fingers. Each button seemed
harder than the one before, but finally he reached the last one and
pushed her shirt back off her shoulders, revealing her lacy pink
bra and full breasts.

“Sweetheart,” he groaned. He swept his hands
over her breasts, inhaling when her nipples jumped at his touch. “I
have to touch your skin,” he whispered. Pushing the lacy cups of
her bra down, her breasts sprang free from their confines. He
molded her flesh in his hands, his thumbs caressing her nipples,
gently rolling them back and forth.

Bianca whimpered, arching up to meet
him.

“Do you like that?” he grated.

“Yes,” she breathed. “Oh, yes.”

Leaning down, he took one nipple in his
mouth, flicking the tip of her nipple with his tongue, then sucking
hard.

Bianca cried out, feeling the heat of her
arousal pooling in her core. Unbidden, her hips rotated slightly,
trying to relieve the pressure.

“Oh, sweetheart,” Martin growled, grabbing
her hips and grinding his erection against her. She pushed back
until he reached down with a hand to rub her through her lacy pink
panties, rolling a finger over her sensitive little nub. “I want
you so much,” he told her. “I’m going to take your skirt off now.
And your panties.”

“Only if you take off the rest of your
clothes,” she told him as he stood up.

His eyes were scorching as he stared down at
her, peeling his slacks and boxer briefs off before reaching down
to pull the rest of her clothes off as well. When he was done, he
stood over her, staring at her with a wanton expression. “I’ve
never wanted a woman so much in my life,” he gulped. “You make me
feel like a teenager.”

She smiled up at him, her eyes grazing his
body. After being with only one man in her entire life, she was
curious how Martin compared.

Don’t compare,
the little voice inside her commanded.
Just enjoy.

He had the lean frame of a runner, and his
skin had the sun kissed glow of a man who spent time in the sun,
but not too much so. She found she wanted to run her hands down his
muscular thighs so she could feel the hard tendons standing out
from the tension he was carrying. His manhood stood proudly erect,
long and thick, and Bianca found herself throbbing with the need to
touch him.

She sat up and pulled him closer, rubbing
her face against his belly and letting his staff nestle between her
breasts.

“Jesus, Bianca,” he groaned, gyrating his
hips a few times, thrusting his cock back and forth between her
soft mounds. Bianca rained kisses on his belly, then let her tongue
lathe a path down his happy trail until she came to his erection.
Looking up at him through her eyelashes, she took him in her mouth,
moving up and down his shaft, sucking gently.

“Christ,” he muttered, his voice a hoarse
cry. His hands ran through her hair, encouraging her, and he let
his head fall back as Bianca moved faster and faster.

A few moments later, he halted her with his
hands on her shoulders. “Stop,” he rumbled. “Or I’m going to lose
control. Besides, I think it’s my turn.”

Pushing her back on the bed again, Martin
hovered over her, leaning over to kiss first her lips, then her
neck, then down to her breasts. He flicked her nipples, harder than
he had before, and she gasped.

He continued to move lower and lower until
his mouth hovered at the juncture of her thighs, his hot breath
teasing her quivering folds. Then his head dipped, and he lapped
thirstily at her folds, his tongue dancing over her clitoris until
she writhed with a feverish wantonness.

He continued his assault as he found the
opening of her cleft, and then gently pushed through her folds with
two fingers. Moving them in and out, he massaged the depths of her
moist cavern, still teasing her nub with his tongue until she was
mindless with pleasure. Soon, his fingers moved faster and faster
until Bianca felt as though she would come apart.

“You taste like honey,” he uttered. “Come
for me.”

At his words, Bianca exploded, riding the
waves of her orgasm higher and higher as she cried out.

Martin sat up and knelt over her for a
moment. “Last chance to turn back, sweetheart,” he told her as he
tore open a condom and rolled it down his length. She lifted her
hips in response. He shuddered, and then he was filling her with
his thick rod.

Bianca was still in the throes of her climax
as he slammed into her, and she screamed with pleasure. He pulled
back, and then buried himself inside her again, his strokes growing
more frenzied with the passing moments.

Bianca let her hands drift over his body and
settle on his buttocks, pulling him into her as she lifted her hips
to meet him each time he sank into her moist well.

“Bianca,” he gasped. “Oh, sweetheart. You
feel so damn good.”

“Yes,” she whimpered in agreement.

Good, but
different,
she suddenly thought.
Not Mason.

Why?
screamed
the little voice inside her.
Stop thinking
about him. Mason is your past. Martin is your future.

Bianca knew the voice was right, and lifted
her hips in encouragement. “Harder,” she urged Martin.

He groaned in response and pulled away long
enough to stand at the edge of the bed, and flip her over on her
hands and knees. When he drove into her again, she cried out with
ecstasy.

Martin set a feverish pace as he gripped her
hips, his rigid staff stretching and filling her throbbing core.
“So tight,” he gritted as he slammed into her. “I can’t last much
longer, sweetheart, I need you to come for me again.”

He plunged into her again and sent her over
the edge. Her climax came hard and fast, and she clenched around
him as she orgasmed.

“Oh sweetheart,” he cried out as he slammed
into her, and she pushed back against him as he shuddered with his
own orgasm.

A new wave of pleasure crashed over her and
she cried out, too far gone to even hear the words he tore from her
lips with one last, powerful thrust.

Martin cried out and stilled, releasing her
hips and she collapsed on the bed.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

A few long moments later, Bianca’s heart
slowed and her breathing calmed a bit. She turned over to gaze up
at Martin.

He stood over the bed, his brow furrowed as
he stared down at her. She reached for him, but he didn’t move.

Worry washed over her. “What’s wrong?” she
breathed as she stared up at him.

“Who’s Mason?” he asked.

“Wh-what?” she stuttered in shock.

“Mason,” he stressed. “You said his name at
the end.”

Bianca stared at him as her mind raced. She
had cried out at the end, but she couldn’t remember what she said.
Did she really cry out another man’s name?

Of course you did,
the little voice said snarkily.
You
couldn’t let go. I mean, you were thinking about him right in the
middle of things, for god’s sake!

As she took in the stricken expression on
Martin’s face, the truth hit her and her eyes filled with tears.
She covered her mouth with a hand to try and suppress her cry.

Concern mixed with the hurt on Martin’s
face, and he dropped to his knees in front of her, placing his
hands on her shoulders in a gesture of comfort.

“Here,” he pulled a sheet off the bed and
wrapped it around her before pulling on his on boxer briefs and
sitting down next to her.

Shame swarmed her as he touched her and she
pushed his hands away, burying her face in her arms. “I’m sorry,”
she wept. “I’m so sorry.”

“Bianca,” he soothed, lifting her face so he
could meet her tear streaked gaze. “I’m obviously missing something
here, and after what happened between us, I think I deserve to
know. Who is Mason?”

Bianca gulped, trying to get her emotions
under control. “You’re right,” she nodded. “You do deserve to
know.” She took a deep, shuddering breath. “I’m just not sure where
to start.”

“Why don’t you tell me about Mason,” he
said.

“Mason is, was,” she amended, “my first …
everything.” She flushed and looked down at her hands twisting at
the bed sheets. “If I’m being completely honest, he was my only.”
She looked back up at him, silently beseeching him to
understand.

Martin’s eyes widened. “Are you telling me
he was your only lover until me?”

She nodded. “You have to understand, I’ve
always been kind of a loner. My parents died when I was very young
and my grandfather raised me. I had no other family. It was the two
of us my whole life, and I got used to being a loner,” she tried to
explain. “I didn’t mind being by myself, or being with my
grandfather, so I never dated a lot.” Her lips puckered as she
thought for a moment. “I guess there was also a part of me that
kept from getting close to anyone in order to protect myself. If I
didn’t have anyone to lose, I couldn’t get hurt.” She made a face.
“And it didn’t help that I developed fairly early. Boys used to
talk to my chest.

“Then I met Mason. He came on strong like
most guys, but there was something about him,” she told Martin,
plucking at her bottom lip with her teeth as she thought about it.
“I think he was a little bit lost.

“Anyway, we met in college and he swept me
off my feet, naturally. I fell hard and fast even though there was
a part of me that knew it couldn’t last.”

“Why?” Martin asked. “I mean, how did you
know it wouldn’t last?”

She shrugged. “We came from two different
worlds. And he felt trapped. His parent’s had money and he was
caught up in it. He went to the schools they wanted him to go to,
studied what they wanted him to, fighting it the whole time, but in
the end he always fell in line.”
