Chapter Nineteen

Annabelle eyed her painting. It was finished. She added the final touch: Alocer in his demon form, standing tall and noble. She frowned as she remembered last night. Alocer had disappeared, leaving her with Marcus and Lance, to give her time with the idea of having him as a mate. She had seen the longing in his face that night. He stood alone, as if he had stood alone all his life. Even though Lance and Marcus had brought her release, they didn't fuck her, saying it wouldn't be right with Alocer absent, and she had agreed. They needed their four and hopefully tonight he would come home for Christmas Eve. She had left two messages on his phone asking him to come, but still nothing. She sighed and covered the painting. Doug still hadn't called or left a message yet either about the Christmas present. Checking the clock, Annabelle cussed and covered the painting. Eden had arranged for her to go into town today with Sandy and two guards. They were going shopping and she was excited. She loved to shop on Christmas Eve and she had so much to shop for this year. Running to the shower, she hopped in and washed off all the paint. “Hurry up, Annabelle. We don't have much time before they find out we're gone,” Sandy yelled into the bathroom. “Give me five minutes, and Sandy, get my purse out of our room, will you? I'll meet you downstairs.” She jumped out of the shower and dressed in record time for her. The hell with her hair, she thought, as she brushed it and put it up into a bun. Putting her coat on, she flew down the stairs. Sandy met her at the doorway with the two guards waiting for them. They ran out of the house with the guards following them as they climbed into Marcus's Blazer and took off. The guards sat in the back seat and shook their heads, smiling. “Do you think they're laughing because they know we're going to get into so much trouble?” Sandy laughed and teased her. “Hey, that's not funny. You don't have anyone paddling
your
ass, but right now I'd risk that just to get this shopping done. I want to get Alocer something special. I swear, Sandy, he looked so alone the last time I saw him, it just broke my heart. I know what I want to get him. Well, actually, it's for all of us. I saw it at the jewelry shop when we first got here. I just hope they have four of them.” She glanced at Sandy. “You're really going to like Alocer. He's so laid back, from what I could tell and really built, even more than Lance.” “Aren't you a little nervous about being with a demon? I mean, after what they did you to you.” Sandy played with the radio.

“Nervous, yes, but afraid, no. I don't know what it is, but it's like it was with Marcus and Lance. I knew once he touched me. And I can't blame him for what Dave did. In his demon form, he's nothing like Dave or the others I saw. Sure, he's red and has horns on his head, and a tail, but my God, you should see his cock.” She glanced back at the guards, who coughed. “Sorry, guys, forgot you were there.” She laughed and they pulled into the large mall parking lot. After parking the car, she turned and looked at Sandy. “Do me a favor, will you? When Alocer arrives, please make him feel at home. My heart broke last night when some of the people snubbed him at the dungeon. One man even insulted him, but he didn't attack him even though I was ready to claw the man's eyes out.” Sandy grabbed her hand and smiled. “I promise I'll treat him just like I treat Marcus and Lance. Like big giant dickheads.” She laughed and got out of the car. “We have an hour before they send out the National Guard, so let's shop like were dying.” Annabelle glanced at the guards as they got out of car. “You guys ready? Because when we shop, we shop.” She smiled and they nodded. For an hour, they hit every store they could. Their guards now had hands full of bags for them. “I was so lucky to get these four charms. Now all I have to do is find chains to fit their necks, and one for me, although I could attach it to the bottom of this choker.” She fingered the choker that she'd kept on all night and today. “I think I'll get the chains later. We need to head back now.” She turned to Sandy and moaned as she looked behind her. “Oh please, don't tell me the he-men are behind me,” she whined. “We were almost done!” She turned and rolled her eyes. “They do look a little pissed, and is that Alocer with him?” She nodded to the man walking next to Marcus. “Yep, that's him, and he doesn't look happy either. Damn. I'm in so much trouble.” She squirmed as they surrounded them and glared down at them. The choker on her neck warmed as she fingered it. “Hi, did you come to shop with us?” Sandy asked, smiling. Annabelle kicked her. “Will you shut up? You're not the one who's going to get the paddle.” She fidgeted, the thought turning her on.

“Oh yes, she is. She's not going to be able to sit for a week when I get done with her.” Dwayne came up next to Sandy and grabbed her arm. “Now, let's go.” Sandy jerked her arm out of his. “Who the hell do you think you are? You can't touch me. You're not my father and I'm old enough to do what I want,” she hissed as they made their way out of the mall. Annabelle glanced up at Marcus. He hadn't said a word as he escorted her to the limo. “I have your Blazer here.” She held up the keys and he took them and handed them to the guard. “Take the car back to the house. We'll meet you there.” Lance opened the limo door and she climbed in. Dwayne took Sandy towards another limo that was behind them.

Marcus was fuming beyond control. When they had gotten home and found out what his mother had done, nothing could have prepared him for the emotions he felt. All three of them had left without saying a word as his father took his mother to their room. It was Christmas Eve and he had to punish his mate. “Take off your pants, Annabelle,” he snapped. She jumped, but did as he was ordered and lay across his knee. “I'm sorry, Marcus. We took guards.” He didn't listen. He slapped her bare butt till Alocer put his hand over her ass. He sucked in his breath. Never had he lost control before, but today he did. He lifted her off his lap and set her down on the seat across from him. Tears streamed down her face as she gathered her pants and slowly put them on as the limo pulled up to the house. Marcus watched as she took her packages from the trunk and headed to her studio without a glance back. “We have work to do, Alocer. Did you bring the ring? Were you able to add the fourth stone?” Alocer nodded and looked up the staircase where their mate had run. He sighed. “Why don't you go on up there and spend some time with her? She's not going to be in the best of moods, I'm afraid, but you two need this time before the wedding tonight.” “No, I'll wait. Right now I don't want to go up there alone with her. Marcus, I could hurt her and I don't want that. She's pregnant with your babies. I can't risk it. I don't even want to risk her feeding from me. What if my blood affects the babies?” He walked towards the dining room, but Marcus stopped him. “Lance, go down and make sure everything is ready. We'll meet you down there in an hour.” Lance laughed. “You think she's going to let you touch her? Dream on.” He laughed all the way down the stairs. “I swear I could kill him sometimes. Come on. Let's go see our mate.” Marcus dragged Alocer up the stairs. “You have to stop worrying about hurting her. She'll be fine. She's one of us now, Alocer. She will adjust to your size. Mom said she's been nervous all day, thinking you weren't going to come. She needs you now. I'll stay for a little while, but I want to give you two the time you need. As far as the babies, you wouldn't have been made her mate if that was the case. Trust yourself, Alocer. We do.” Marcus patted him on the back and tried to push open the studio door, but it didn't budge. Alocer laughed. “It seems our mate is very pissed off.” Marcus glared at the door. “Annabelle, you have until the count of three to unlock this door now.” “I'm wrapping presents, your highness. Go away.” Alocer folded his arms against his chest and leaned against the wall, smiling. “One!” Marcus tapped his foot. “Two!” He heard the lock click open and she flung open the door. “Are you happy? Come on in and ruin your surprise. Maybe I should just throw it out anyway,” she yelled and stomped across the room where boxes were already littered across the floor. Her naked ass jiggled as she turned and carefully sat down in the middle of her pile of wrapping paper, bows, tags, and gifts. Christmas music played on the radio as she grabbed a box and peeked inside it and closed it back up. She grabbed a roll of paper and started to wrap. “Do you think you could stop for a little and spend some time with Alocer? I thought you two should have some time together today before all the family is here tomorrow.” Marcus stood next to her as she glanced up at him, then at Alocer. “I didn't think he was coming. He never answered my calls. I thought he made a mistake or something.” She grabbed a piece of tape and continued her wrapping.

Alocer stepped over the gift boxes and lifted her up into his arms, careful of her tender butt, carrying her to the couch. “Annabelle, I'm sorry I didn't answer. I had my phone off while I was in a meeting earlier. I swear I would have answered it. I was trying to track down the other men who were hurting people.” He brushed her forehead with a kiss. “You're my mate and it wasn't a mistake. I'm afraid you are very much stuck with me, but you're lucky Marcus spanked your ass today. The thought of those men getting a hold of you scared the daylights out of me and I haven't been that scared since I transformed as a teenager. So if you do it again, I can promise you that that little butt of yours will be black and blue when I'm done.” He nibbled her neck. “Humph. Well, you don't have to worry about that. It already is.” She glanced down and looked out at her gifts. “I knew it was a mistake, but I just had to go. There was something I had to get and no one could get it for me. It was worth a black and blue butt.” She smiled up at him. “I'm sorry, Marcus. I did make sure to take the two guards and I only went straight to the shops where I knew what I wanted, so it wouldn't take long.” Marcus sighed and kneeled before her. “I know, but those gifts would mean nothing to anyone if you weren't here to give them out. Nothing is worth your life, baby. You have to remember that. Now, I'll leave the two of you alone and, Alocer, remember she's one of us.” He nodded to Alocer and left the room, shutting the door. “I'm having this lock taken off, by the way,” he said, going down the stairs. Annabelle laughed and yelled, “I can still move furniture in the way. You'd be amazed at how strong I've become now that I'm a drinker.”

Chapter Twenty

Annabelle wrapped her arms around Alocer. “You can change back to your natural form, Alocer. It's okay. Marcus and Lance told me of the legend even though I'm not thrilled about us being the center of attraction. You are my mate and I want all of you.” She kissed his chest and he shifted to his demon form. “We will be very busy over the next few months getting accustomed to all the questions, the possibilities. Even the council will be contacting us, needing our help from time to time. There will be others who will try to harm us, Annabelle. The council has agreed, and they are sending trusted guards from their warriors. They will be better prepared to deal with the other species out there.” He gently cupped her breast and skimmed his thumb over her nipple. “Oh, just great, more guards. I think I'm going to have a fit soon.” She smiled up at him. “I mean, how is a girl supposed to do girl things, if she's all locked up?” She shifted in his arms and facing him, she wrapped her legs around his waist. “Make love to me, Alocer. Let me take all that pain out of your eyes, at least for a few minutes.” She kissed his lips, but he drew back and stared down at her. “I'm much larger than you are used to. I don't want to hurt you or the babies.” He brushed her hair back out of her face.

Annabelle smiled and licked his nipple. “Why, Alocer, don't you know my body was made for you?” she teased and sank her teeth into his chest, drinking his blood. He tried to push her back, but she held on and drank. “Why did you do this? It could affect the babies,” he cried as he held her. She could feel him shake and hear the fear in his voice. Annabelle sealed the holes and grabbed his face, staring into his eyes. “Alocer, if our union is as special as the Christmas legend that is told to our world and to others, do you really believe you could hurt our children? Because I know in my heart that you are part of me.” She picked up his hand and placed it over her heart. “Believe in me, Alocer, in us.” Very slowly she lifted her body and lowered herself down on his cock. He was wide and long, but she knew she could take him. He froze and grabbed her hips. “If we're going to do this, we'll do it slow, until I know you can take me, Annabelle.” He kissed her lips and she slipped down further on his cock. “God, Alocer, you kept this from me last night. I should kick your ass.” She nipped at his lip. He was halfway inside her and already he was stretching her. Annabelle needed all of him now, she couldn't wait, and she pushed herself all the way down before he could stop her. “Yes.” She squirmed in his lap. “Now that is more like it. Now get moving, stud. Your mate needs you.” She licked his lips and smiled at him. He growled and lowered her back onto the couch. “I see we have our hands full with you, little one, but I'm very capable of leashing that wild streak in you.” He pumped into her as he nipped her nipple. Alocer grabbed her legs and held onto them as he moved faster and faster into her. “Feed from me, Alocer, please,” she begged as he rubbed against her clit, driving her heat level up even further. His fangs sank into her breast, creating a sensation that went straight to her pussy. Her nails dug into his back as he reached beneath her and pushed a finger into her ass as he fucked her. “Alocer…” Her body exploded. Stars danced before her eyes and her body trembled as her orgasm rippled through her, sending him into a frenzy. He lifted his head up and licked her breast, growling. The couch shook under his force as once, twice, and three times he pumped into her, releasing his seed inside her. “Mine! You will never leave me, and God help anyone who tries to harm you,” he snarled, as he gently lowered her legs and smiled down at her. She lifted her arm over her face. “Okay, I'm going to be one of those women who faint after great sex.” She peeked up at him and burst out laughing. “I should kick your ass! I had to go without any last night because my other mates thought you should be there with us! Don't do that again, Alocer, and I mean it.” She punched his chest and yelped. “Damn it!” He lifted her up and slipped out of her, putting her onto his lap. He kissed her hand. “I can promise you, my wild one that you will not go without again. Thank you for believing in me when no one else has.” He grabbed the back of her neck and covered her mouth in a scorcher of a kiss. “I knew things would work out.” Marcus laughed behind them, and Alocer growled. “Don't be so proud of yourself. She could have gotten hurt.” He smiled and nodded his head. “You finish your wrapping. We have our own present to take care of.” He kissed her nose and strolled to the door with Marcus. She ran to the door and stepped in front of it. “Is it for me? Give me a hint. I love to try to guess.” She jumped up and kissed both of them.

“Nope, no guessing. You'll get it soon enough.” Marcus laughed and picked her up, setting her to the side. “Well, crap, you're no fun.” She pouted. “Have you seen Dwayne? I need him to do something for me.” “Yeah, he's downstairs. I'll have him come up.” Marcus yelled over his shoulder and shut the studio door. She ran to the four small boxes and put them into a bag. Grabbing a pen and paper, she covered herself with the blanket on the couch and proceeded to write out what she wanted on the back of the dragon charms.
The Christmas Legend states three wise men will bring peace among many. For me, you have brought this to me tenfold. For I hold all four of our hearts inside of me, keeping them safe. When times are tough, just follow the loud beat of our hearts and know you are home in my arms and always loved.
Dwayne stepped into the room and smiled at her. “What a mess. You rang, little sister?” Annabelle smiled up at him. “Yep. I need your help. I know you speak the ancient language from the council, but can you write it too? If so, do you think you could have this engraved on the backs of these?” She held up one of the charms and the paper. He sat down on the couch and studied the note, smiling. “Yep, it could be done. When do you want these?” She smiled. “As soon as you can, so I can wrap them up.” She leaned up and kissed his cheek. “Thanks, Dwayne. This means a lot to me.” “No problem. I'm just glad you're happy. Give me an hour and I'll have them done.” He got up and strolled out of the room while she got busy wrapping her presents.

Marcus scanned the ballroom. Everything was in place for the wedding. The council was even making an appearance tonight. They would be blessed in their ways, sealing their bond forever. Annabelle's dress had already been placed in their bedroom with strict rules to follow for tonight. They wouldn't see her again till the ceremony itself. Adam was to escort her down the stairs with her brothers behind them, guarding them. His mother stepped up to him and hugged him. “You've done it. This place is beautiful and I couldn't be more proud of you, Marcus. All three of you have come a long way for this, especially that man there.” She nodded to Alocer, who laughed at Lance as he tried to tie a red bow around his dragon's neck. It hissed and bit him. Marcus and Eden burst out laughing. “Give it up, Lance. He isn't going to wear that.” Lance sighed and shook his head. “Well, I tried.” He laughed and sucked his finger into his mouth. “Boy, he has some sharp teeth. I hope they all got a nip at Danker last night.” He growled at the same time the dragon did. “Have we heard anything from them? I know he has to be up to something. He always did start trouble among the families.” Lance and Alocer stepped up to him. “No, not a word, and that has me worried. Also, my father is missing. The elders have called out the hunters on him. It seems he has killed two others already.” Alocer shook his head. “I think his madness has finally taken over.” He sighed and glanced at the Christmas tree. His mother scooted over to his large frame and hugged him. “You have a family here now, Alocer. Annabelle loves you and you're part of our family now. Let us help you take some of that pain away.” She squeezed him tight and stepped back with a twinkle in her eye. “You know, since you're red, we could always put the Santa suit on you for a couple of years.” Marcus and Lance laughed as Alocer stood there shocked. “Oh, please say you'll do it next year. It would so be a load off my mind,” Lance said. “For some reason, father wants all of us to take turns doing it.” Alocer shook his head. “I don't think so. Could you see if a child woke up and saw a horned Santa? Nope, I'm not into scaring children. That is downright mean.” He backed away from them. Eden burst out laughing. “Silly man, that's what magic is for.” She snapped her fingers and Alocer stood stiff as a board: a Santa suit covered his body, and he had a long beard and a round belly. Marcus fell to the floor laughing hard as Alocer tried to tear the costume off his body, only to have it reappear. “Okay, Mom,” Marcus said between gasps, “you've had your fun. Stop teasing him already. Annabelle needs him whole tonight.” His mom once again snapped her fingers. Lance was now an elf, and Marcus was in the form of a reindeer. Alocer burst out laughing, pointing at him. He meant to growl, but it came out as a “enigh” and he glanced at his mom. His mother was crying with laughter, as were the others. She snapped her fingers and they all were back to normal. “I swear, if you ever turn me into a deer again, I'm going to…” He stopped at his mother's glare. “You're going to what?” she dared him. Lance nudged him. “Come on, Marcus. We'd better go get ready before Mom turns you into Frosty the Snowman for our wedding.” He slugged his arm. Alocer shook his head. “Thank you, both of you, for welcoming me into your family. I never knew it could be like this.” Marcus wrapped his arm around his shoulder. “You're our brother now, Alocer. No one will hurt you again without our wrath, and Annabelle's. Did you see the look she gave Danker? I'm glad she was tied down!” Alocer laughed. “Yeah, she is a fierce little thing, isn't she? I can see her with our children protecting them.” He glanced at him. “I think we should really try to give her some normalcy in her life. I was thinking about how she loves to paint, write, and shop. We have to give her something outside of the home. She'll go nuts locked up her all the time.” Marcus pushed opened the guest bedroom and waited for them to enter. “Lance and I were discussing the same thing. It's going to be really hard to do that with so many enemies taking shots at us. Do you have any ideas? Because right now, I'm blank and the thought of her out there in the mall…” He slammed the door. “I know. Between the three of us, we know several business owners and I was thinking we could ask them maybe at night to let her do her shopping when there is no one around. We could call that night so no one would know the day until the last minute. With the council guards, I believe she should be fine.” Alocer stripped out of his clothes and headed for the shower. “I like that idea. Dad has many contacts we can use. I'll see what he thinks. We can meet with him to gather the list of the stores. She could pick out which ones she would like to visit.” Marcus pulled out his tux and hung it on the door. One more hour and Annabelle would be escorted downstairs.
