I’m so pleased the City Love ladies have found a home at Momentum. Thank you Haylee for your ongoing encouragement and belief. Tara, your keen editing eye and suggestions allowed me to take
The Pitch
to the next level. And thanks also to Michelle, Ashley, Patrick and Joel who make up the rest of the very supportive Momentum team. And once again the cover artwork is amazing.

To my generous, supportive and honest beta-readers: Sarah, Donna and Joanna – thank you so much. Your continued involvement in my writing means the world to me. Especially given you do it out of the goodness of your hearts, and somehow manage to work my deadlines into your very busy lives.

To my boys. Love you both. So much.

A big thank you to all my wonderful friends, readers, reviewers and awesome fellow romance writers who have supported my writing by reading, reviewing or sharing on social media. Also the organizations Romance Writers of Australia and ARRA (Australian Romance Readers Association) that do so much for the romance genre in this country.

In
The Pitch
, Maddy suffers from endometriosis. Chances are this condition affects at least one woman you know. Often it causes fertility issues, and ongoing pain to the point where daily life and relationships are affected. There’s no cure. Awareness of endometriosis is still limited, but slowly this is starting to change as more and more brave women share their stories. I know Maddy is only fictional but to me she’s the epitome of the courageous, tenacious women who endure this condition. It’s my hope her story contributes, even just a little bit, to improving people’s awareness.

Dream career and the perfect man for a limited time only.

Scarlett Wong has a reputation for being tough. She’s the talented and occasionally feared Creative Director at an award-winning Sydney advertising agency. She doesn’t do relationships, she doesn’t invite men home, and she never stays the night.

The only ones she lets in are her three closest girlfriends and they’re convinced John Hart is her perfect man. But her perfect man wouldn’t interfere in her life the way John does. He’s secured her an invitation from one of New York’s leading galleries to exhibit her artwork. It means putting herself out there like never before and could be the chance to turn her secret passion into a career.

Scarlett’s never backed down from a challenge and she’s not going to start now. Except this challenge involves risking the safety of her advertising career and letting John see a side of her she’s never shown anyone.

For a woman who’s not scared of anything, she could be about to discover she’s not as tough as she thinks she is.

Belinda is a marketing communications specialist and copywriter who allowed an addiction to romance and chick-lit to get the better of her. She was named a top ten finalist in the Romance Writers of Australia Emerald Award in both 2013 and 2014.

Her other addictions include music and cars. Belinda’s eclectic music taste forms the foundation of many of her writing ideas and her healthy appreciation for fast cars means she would not so secretly love a Lamborghini. For now she’ll have to settle with her son’s Hot Wheels collection and writing hot male leads with sports cars.
