Alistair chortled, but didn't interrupt her.

“She said: 'What? You think only gay men love fantabulous rim-jobs?'”

At that, Alistair couldn't contain his laughter and it erupted from  him. Felicity watched, smirking, but she let him have his moment before continuing. When he regained his composure, she went on.

“Miranda told me that you liked rim-jobs. She said you like anal play all together. I see now that it's true. Tell me, Alistair, would you have ever asked me to do it?”

Alistair studied her carefully, then nodded. “Yes, I would have. I would have tested your limits as much as possible based on what I think you'd enjoy. You always have your safe words if you need them, but I'm happy to know that you don't.”

She wrapped her arms around him. “Not when I'm with you, I don't. I trust you, Alistair.”

“Although I appreciate your trust, I really do. Always use your safe word if you really need to. It's not about my pleasure so much so as it is about yours, Felicity.”

Okay, so he was back in serious Dom mode.
She nodded. “I promise, Alistair.”

“Good.”

“Can I ask you a question, sir?”

“You may always ask me anything you like.”

“That night at the club, that guy you, you know worked over... have you ever done that to yourself, sir?”

Alistair arched a brow. “Which part?”

“The part where you stuck metal rods down his dick, sir.”

Alistair chuckled lightly. “I have. It's extremely pleasurable, but it does take some getting used to. One must be very skilled at it as well so there aren't any injuries or infections.”

“I really want to see you do it, I want you to teach me cause it's one of your triggers, right, sir?” Felicity asked, biting her bottom lip.

He nodded. “I actually have several, all sizes, some even vibrate... and that one really makes me cum hard.”

“I can't wait to play with you with those, sir.” She could feel the moisture gathering between her legs as her libido kicked into gear. Just thinking about him working the sounds into his urethra was turning her on. If she wasn't so exhausted, she'd rally him for another go.
There's always tomorrow.

“One day soon.” He patted her on the ass. “Rise up, I have to piss.”

“So crude. And coming from an English gentleman, no less.”

“I like crude, or can't you tell,” Alistair said as he climbed out of the bed.

“Hey, doesn't that mean, joke or something where you're from?” Felicity asked.

“What? Piss?”

“Yeah.”

“'Taking a piss' means to fool around, joke. 'Getting pissed' means to get, as you Americans say: 'shitfaced'. I've been in this country for quite a while and have adapted to your terms and slang just fine.” He walked into the master bathroom.

“I'm actually surprised you don't use more British terms,” Felicity said thoughtfully.

Alistair answered her after he was finished in the bathroom. He climbed back in bed, pulling her close. “There was some confusion in the beginning.” He smiled as he reminisced.

“I love your accent and I love the way you speak,” Felicity stated.

He smiled. “Thanks,” he mumbled as he drifted off to sleep.

Felicity looked at him, his beautiful, long dark lashes resting on his cheeks. His gorgeous face so serene. Their relationship broke new grounds that night. They were together, so perfectly together. She couldn't risk that, not now. She couldn't risk losing him by her betrayal. She was going to have to call the whole thing off. When she thought about the repercussions, she frowned, dreading having to see her friend the next day.
It's got to be done,
she thought  as she snuggled closer to Alistair, savoring his scent as she drifted off to dreamland.

Chapter Eleven

“I can't go through with it,” Felicity said to Allison the moment she stepped inside their shared cubical.

Allison turned around. “You can't go through what?”

“The story. I can't do the story.”

“And why not? Isn't that why you went through all this trouble? Why
all
of us went through all this trouble? What about trying to move up in the company?” Allison asked.

“I know! Don't you think this isn't killing me. I put so much thought into this decision. It wasn't easy for me to decide to drop the story,” Felicity said.

“Whoa, whoa...” Allison waved her hands over her head. “Hold up. Felicity, we're too far into the game for this. You better treat this shit like a Slim Jim and snap into it! Gregory's put money into this and apparently he has a lot riding on this story based on what
you
promised him.”

“I know,” Felicity snapped.

“Yeah, okay, since you know... do you realize this is your last opportunity. It's now or never. Your source already told you that chick wants to use the exposure of your story to distance herself from the mayor since he's creeping her out. So that means she's sticking her head out for you and she's depending on you, too. We're all risking something to make this work,” Allison said. “And you made promises to all of us long before you started dating the owner.”

“Allison, I know, but things have changed,” Felicity tried to defend her decision.

“Not on our end. You think you're the only one who wants to advance in this company?”

“In the beginning, you didn't want anything to do with it,” Felicity said. “Besides, you didn't even believe me at first.”

“Oh, so now you want to dig some ancient shit out your ass to prove a point. Okay, I'll go there. I didn't want to be bothered when I thought it was some bullshit-ass rumor. But now that I know it's true, I'm invested. I've been supporting you since the beginning. Why do you think I agreed to take the pictures? And it was you who brought it to me to write the story together. You made me want it just as much as you did. We need to follow through with this.”

“You don't have a relationship on the line to lose.”

“No, I don't. But I've got dreams and so do you. Although, that's not the only reason I'm pissed at you right now. You're bailing out on people depending on you for some guy.”

“You don't know what you're talking about. He's not just 'some guy',” Felicity fussed.

“You've known him for a month and he doesn't even know your real name.”

Felicity flinched at the harsh truth of Allison's words.

“Besides, he's wealthy enough to own an uppity sex club. So he's got his. You need to be focused on getting yours. This is your shot, Felicity. You were right, you land this story... you will become famous,” Allison said. “We both will.”

“I'm in love with him, Allison.” Felicity slumped into her chair.

“What?” Allison said, voice going up an octave in disbelief.

Felicity looked at Allison, her face sullen and resolute. “I'm in love with him. I can't risk hurting him. I know that I'm going to have to tell him my real name eventually. If I print this story, he'll know I was using him, using his club. He'll never forgive me.”

“So you're willing to throw away the chance of a lifetime over a relationship that might not even last? What if he gets pissed that you've been lying about your real name?” Allison asked.

“But when I do finally give him my real name, at least he won't have that story as proof of my betrayal,” Felicity said.

“Are you listening to yourself?” Allison asked, worried about her friend.

“I know that you don't get why I can't go through with it--”

“Not can't. You're too afraid to. What happens if you two break up like six months from now?” Allison pointed out. “What you have going with him isn't concrete, but this story, your opportunity to achieve your dream...that is. You're willing to throw it all away. Don't be stupid, Felicity.”

“I just don't know if I can do it. I don't want to hurt him,” Felicity said, wiping a tear from her cheek.

Allison studied her friend a bit more. “Jesus Christ, you really do love this guy, don't you?” She placed her hand tenderly on Felicity's knee, comforting her.

Felicity nodded as she wiped more tears from her eyes. “I swear, Allison. I thought I could go through with it. I thought I was hard-nosed enough to not let love get in the way. But I can't handle the look of betrayal on his face if he knew I had been plotting against him.”

“But you aren't.”

“Yes, I am. I'm betraying his trust. Just because it's not him I'm writing the story about, I used him to get the story.”

“The only reason he's a player at all, is because it's his club. You aren't doing anything to him--”

“Allison, don't you get it. He'll think I used him to get inside his club. He'll probably be pissed at Gregory, too.”

Allison waved her hands in the air again. “Okay, Okay, Okay... look, this is how we're going to do it. You are going to sneak my ass inside the club. That way, your name won't be linked to mine.”

“But you won't be able to get into the building without some kind of membership.”

“Damn, really?”

Felicity nodded. “He's really big about security. There's a bouncer on the front and back entrances.”

“Now that don't make no damn sense,” Allison fussed, annoyed by how difficult her friend's boyfriend was making everything with his overzealous need for privacy. “I've got to pay that expensive fee just to eat there?”

“No,” Felicity said. “But remember, you do need a Diner's membership card to eat there. It's like fifty dollars.”

“Okay, now we're cooking. Do I need a reference to eat there?”

“No, you can just show your ID to the bouncer, he'll let you in and you fill out a membership diner's card with the host. After you pay the fee, you're in.”

“Okay, I'll do that. Then we'll meet at that “Employee Entrance” door you told me about. I'll text you once I have my card. That way, you can let me in and I'll take the pictures.”

“No, it wouldn't work. He has cameras at that entrance. Look, I'm just going to have to take the risk. I'll have no problem getting inside.”

“I was trying to help.” Allison shrugged. “So, does this mean that you're back on board?”

“Yeah. I'm not as enthused about it as I was before, but yeah, I'm in. I have to be the one to take the pictures. I can't see it working out any other way,” Felicity said.

“This is what we can do. During that window of time, you can stick one of the cameras in the room for a few minutes. Just long enough to get some incriminating footage. Then later, you give it to me, I'll have it anonymously mailed to you. That way you can use your whole 'source' thing, one you don't even know and still write your story,” Allison said.

We
write
our
story.  I see no reason why you can't be great, too, as you like to say,” Felicity said, smiling.

“I love the sound of that. Besides, even when word gets out and he discovers you're Felicity Summers and not Davenport, you can save face. Make sure we don't add the club's name, that way you can tell him you just got an anonymous tip and ran with that bitch,” Allison stated.

Felicity nodded. “I think you're right. I can keep my promise to all of you, make a name for myself and at the same time, keep my relationship with Alistair.”

Allison arched an eyebrow. “Are you sure the fact that he blows your mind sexually isn't the reason you're in love with him? I'm just throwing that out there. Women have been known to lose their damn minds over some good dick.”

“Don't get me wrong, the sex makes it so easy to want to be with him. But it's him I'm in love with. His wicked sense of humor, his intelligence, his all around debonair personality. He's so engaging. I love how he treats me...how well he knows and understands me. I do want you to meet him...soon.”

“I can't wait to meet this guy. So, do you have your nerve back? We're doing this, right?” Allison looked at her intently.

“Yeah, girl. We're doing this. Thank you so much for helping me get back on track and showing me a way to save my relationship, too.”
