“Mmm, we should.”

He kissed me once more, then let me go. “Ladies first.”

“Such a gentleman.” I glanced at him and grinned, and he returned it. As I got into bed, he stripped off his T-shirt, jeans and boxers. I usually wasn’t into guys without a lot of body hair—something about some hair on the chest and that treasure trail down below was sexy as hell—but Lee’s abs and chest were completely bare, and on him? It looked good. Nothing to obscure those smooth contours between his muscles, especially on that spectacular six-pack.

It was a good thing I was already in bed as he stripped down to nothing, because as soon as I saw his erect cock, there was no way my legs would have stayed under me. My God, I needed him inside me.

True to his word, though, Lee was in no rush. He pulled the sheet up over us, and we melted into a kiss just like the one up against the wall: slow, sensual, and so, so sexy. It was a delicious contradiction of feverish and needy and desperate, but absolutely unhurried. Like we had all night to get to the place we needed to be
right now
.

I reached between us and closed my fingers around his very erect cock. As I stroked him, Lee broke the kiss sucked in a breath through his teeth.

“God damn…” Closing his eyes, he tilted his head back, exposing his throat, so I leaned in and kissed beneath his jaw.

I pressed against him. He didn’t resist and let me push him onto his back.

One kiss at a time, I inched down the center of his chest. Then down his smooth, sculpted abs. The flawlessly defined muscles contracted beneath my touch, and Lee groaned, arching his back off the bed.

“Like that?” I asked.

“Mm-hmm.”

“Thought so.” I fluttered the tip of my tongue across the base of his cock. He whimpered softly, shivering as I drew my tongue up the entire length of the shaft before letting the head slip between my lips.

“Fuck, baby, you’re…” He exhaled sharply. “Fuck…”

I steadied him with my hand and slowly took him into my mouth. He wasn’t an easy man to accommodate, so I only tried to deep throat him a couple of times before I focused on alternately teasing the head of his cock and fluttering my tongue up and down the entire length.

He rested a hand on my hair. Not pressing down or forcing my mouth onto his cock, just resting there, like he needed to make some kind of contact.

I looked up, and when our eyes met, his pupils were blown and his gaze was made up of the same pure, hot lust that ran through my veins, and I
needed
to kiss him.

I pushed myself up and started toward him, but he sat up and met me halfway. He curved his hand behind my neck. I kissed him. Kissed him
hard
. The hand around the back of my neck was firm and unforgiving, not letting me lift my head at all, but it didn’t matter because his kiss was too good for me to even think of ending it any time soon.

His other hand drifted down my side, and when it slid between us, I lifted my hips to give him access to my pussy. Access he took advantage of without any hesitation at all. His fingers slipped easily inside me, and he crooked them against my G-spot in the same moment the heel of his hand pressed perfectly—fucking
perfectly
—against my clit. My body had a mind of its own now, and I didn’t have a choice in the matter when my hips began to move against his hand, riding his fingers and pressing just right against his palm.

He broke the kiss but kept my forehead against his. As I rode his hand, his fingers made smooth, subtle motions that made my G-spot the center of my entire existence, and I thought I was going to go out of my mind even before he whispered, “I’ve thought about you so many times.”

All I could do was whimper and try not to shatter into millions of pieces.

“The last few times, they…” He trailed off into a low growl. “They weren’t enough.”

I didn’t know if he meant the few times we’d had together, or all the times he’d thought about us while he was alone, but either way, all I could say was, “No, they weren’t. God, I want you…”

“Oh, you’ll have me.” He pressed a little harder on my clit. “I’m going to fuck you until I’ve made up for every night I’ve wanted to.”

“Oh God…”

“But first—”

“Fuck, Lee…”

“—you, Rachel—”

“Oh my God…”

“—are going to come.”

And in that instant, I did come, and I came hard, my entire body shaking and my hips grinding against his hand, forcing his fingers deeper inside me and his palm against my clit, and I didn’t make a sound because Lee kissed me and I couldn’t breathe anyway and
oh fuck, don’t stop

“Jesus, Rachel,” he whispered between kisses. “I have never wanted to fuck a woman as bad as I want to fuck you now.”

Whatever was left of my spine liquefied, and I slumped against him. “Oh God…”

“Please, baby,” he breathed.

I could only moan. I drew back enough I could look at him through my tear-blurred vision. As I loosened my grasp on his arms, thin crescent moons remained where I’d dug in my nails.

Lee swept his tongue across his lips. Then, slowly, he withdrew his fingers from my pussy. Eyes locked on mine, he sucked his fingers into his mouth, then slowly pulled them free. My own mouth watered.

Then he kissed me. His kiss tasted lightly of me, and that sweetness made sure every nerve ending in my body remembered the orgasm he’d just given me.

He touched his forehead to mine. “Would you be offended if I told you I fantasize about this almost every night?”

“If I was offended”—I paused, licking my lips—“I’d be a hypocrite.”

Warm laughter whispered across my lips. He kissed me gently before adding a growled, “And the fantasies don’t compare to the real thing.”

“Likewise,” I murmured, and kissed him again.

He wrapped his arms around me. Then he gently laid me on my back beside him.

His lips just brushed mine, and as he pulled away, I let go of a soft protest, but he just grinned. “I’m not going anywhere. Don’t move.”

I didn’t think I could if I wanted to.

Foil tore. I bit my lip.
Yes, finally…

And then he was over me. On top of me. Inside me. This was hardly our first time, but it still never ceased to amaze me that I could take him at all. We were two pieces that shouldn’t have fit together, but did so perfectly in spite of every reason not to.

He sank down onto me and I rose up to meet him, and together we landed gently on the soft sheets. We held on to each other and moved together in the most sensual slow motion, every movement fluid and smooth, and yet still hungry and needy. We had all night, but only all night. I needed as much of him as possible, as much of this amazing sex as I could get, and still somehow we were reduced to moving like we had all the time in the world to savor each other.

Or maybe it was the need to savor it because this was all I’d get. One night, and no more. That thought made me hold him tighter, kiss him harder, roll my hips to draw him deeper. Time didn’t even matter anymore. For all I cared, we’d been like this since the start of time and would still be this way when it ended. Just like every time we’d been together, nothing mattered except this.

Lee broke the kiss with a gasp. His head fell beside mine, and his quivering shoulders rose above me as he thrust harder, faster, closing in on the frantic, needy speed of all our previous encounters. I dug my nails into his back and rocked my hips faster, and the headboard banged into the wall above us as he slammed into me, his rhythm falling apart as curses rolled off his tongue. Muscles ached and my skin burned against the sheets, and sweat-slicked skin slid across sweat-slicked skin. He panted against my neck, and my God, his muscles must have been on fire, but he didn’t falter. He didn’t stop.

Then a shudder brought a groan from the back of his throat. He whispered my name. Thrust a few more last, desperate times. Shuddered again. And exhaled.

After a moment, he lifted his head. He withdrew carefully, cursing under his breath as he did, but he didn’t get up. Instead, he found my lips with his. I combed my fingers through his sweaty hair, and our mouths moved together with delicious afterglow lethargy.

Then he broke the kiss and looked down at me. He was sweaty, disheveled and so damned hot with his skin flushed and sweat darkening the ends of his sandy hair. A single drop of perspiration slid down his temple.

“That was so worth the flight,” he said with a smile.

I returned it. “It was worth the wait too.”

Lee winked. Then he kissed me and got up to get rid of the condom. Once it was gone, he rejoined me, lying on his back so I could rest my head on his chest.

Now that the hunger had worn off for the time being, I grinned to myself. I couldn’t deny it was a bit of a thrill to be sneaking off with him like this, stealing away like teenagers behind my record label’s back. At the same time, lying here this way was somehow…right. Like all the thousands of meandering miles I’d traveled since last time had been leading us to this. Here. Now.

Here and now, where we shouldn’t have been because of all the people who’d click their tongues, shake their heads, fire me if they knew. I could have gotten away with being here with any other man in the world, but not Lee.

Because Lee was a porn star.

A porn star, Rachel. A porn star. He’s not just Lee, he’s Buck Harder.

He has sex with other women for a living. In front of cameras. As Buck Harder.

Buck Harder the porn star.

The porn star, for God’s sake.

“You okay?” His gentle voice and a soft fingertip under my chin brought me back into the present.

“Yeah, I’m—” I met his eyes.

Suddenly, all the thoughts that had been tugging at my chest and trying to stir up regrets didn’t make sense. In this room, Buck Harder didn’t matter any more than Olivia Taylor did. This had nothing to do with them. This was between Lee and Rachel.

He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. “You’re worried about this, aren’t you?”

I bit my lip and lowered my gaze. “Am I that obvious?”

He laughed, if halfheartedly. “Not really. But now that the dust has settled…”

“True.” Running my hand up and down his arm, I sighed.

“Does it bother you?” he asked.

“Which part?” I looked up at him again. “The part where I begged you to fly three thousand miles just for this?”

“You didn’t exactly have to twist my arm.” He kissed my forehead. Caressing my cheek, he said, “I meant, being with me. Even just for a night.”

“If it did, I wouldn’t be here.”

The crevices between his eyebrows deepened. “But are you going to regret it on your way back tonight?”

I grinned. “Are you saying I have to go back tonight?”

He finally laughed again. “Absolutely not.” His smile fell. “I want you to stay. And…” He trailed off, watching his fingers play with my hair. Then he took a breath and looked me in the eyes. “To be honest, I don’t want this to be the last time.”

My heart quickened. With my chest against him, he had to have felt it, but if he did, he didn’t let it show.

I swallowed. “I don’t want this to be the last time either. The only problem is…”

“What I do.”

“What
I
do.” I put my hand over his and brought it down so I could kiss his palm. “You’re not the one with a contract telling you how to behave.”

“Well, okay. But you know what I mean.”

I nodded. “I know. But it doesn’t bother me. What you do, I mean.” I paused, chewing the inside of my cheek. “Maybe it should, but…it doesn’t.”

“Which leaves us with the issue of your contract.”

I exhaled. “And the media watching me like a hawk.”

“So we’d have to keep it extra quiet.”

Staring at him, I said, “You’d…actually consider this? Even with the sneaking around and—”

He silenced me with a soft kiss. “Rachel. I just flew all the way across the country to spend the night with you. Dodging some paparazzi and keeping my mouth shut isn’t too much to ask.” He touched my face. “Even if it’s on the sly and a complete headache to pull off, I want to see you again.”

“I can’t promise much in the way of a relationship,” I said. “It’s just not… There’s no way it’s feasible right now.”

One shoulder lifted in a subtle shrug. “Neither of us is in any position to get into a relationship. You’re traveling all over the place. I’m…well, Buck.”

“I guess it doesn’t have to be a relationship,” I said. “Try the friends-with-benefits thing again?”

The corner of his mouth pulled up. “Twist my arm.”

I laughed.

Lee drew me a little closer, wrapping his warm arms around me. “So whenever you’re in town, hit me up.”

“And if I’m out of town and you feel like traveling…” I raised my eyebrows.

He grinned and kissed my forehead. “I think I like this plan.”

“So do I.”

Pulling back a little, he met my eyes. “So, what about tonight?”

“What about it?”
