Chapter 1

London is a multicultural city and very liberal where different cultures merge and emerge in the city finest corners, or where red doors are hidden on plain sight and behind pleasure is paid for a couple of hours.

Definitely the success is seen everywhere in West End, there are stylish restaurants and ridiculously expensive hotels. Luxury cars at high speed down the street, which you can stay indifferent because of the singular noise they make.

And for those who choose to on the street they can carry sometimes thousands of pounds only in accessories.

Wealth is always pumping in central London and Laura with only 22 years old aspires hard to be part of this obscene world and ridiculously made of excesses.

She has the wish, works at the right place to meet wealthy people and has the model’s body. With her brunette, long straight hair and greenish almond eyes is the living dream of any billionaire who aimed to have around a young and beautiful woman all the time.

Freshly out of college, she continues working now full time in a high fashion store, in Sloane Street, one of the most expensive streets of London. The store is so expensive, that just a pair of shoes costs more than Laura´s monthly income. She works in all store departments, and she enjoyed because she could see beautiful and wealthy people and sell them the most expensive clothes.

Although she had the dream and ambition of being part of riches, she wasn’t able to be part of it, she had never money left by the end of the month, it never stretched as she had to pay always an absurd amount of rent for a tiny and depressing flat just outside central London.

Secretly she envied badly those fine shoppers, arriving and could buy like it was no tomorrow spending so much money without caring how much was each item, because in the end of the day wealthy husbands or parents would pay.

Fascinated by the lifestyle they led, she listen often their conversations, so different from poor and short sided people. With them everything was about status and glamour, wealthy women talked about fashion, make-up, beauty surgeries, dinners in the best places in town, travel five stars, private jets, clubs and parties.

Laura hated returning in the end of the day to her flat, being completely the opposite of the store.

She was always ready to face another day of work, and forget her miserable life. Today when she was busy tide everything up in one corner of the store, she noticed two young girls looking like top models, tall and super skinny, flawless make-up, wearing Jimmy Choo sandals, Prada bags, and with the latest phone model in their hands while they enjoyed a few pieces to join their expensive wardrobe, ending shopping like crazy. While they were picking all clothes to buy, Laura overheard them talking:

"John pays for this dress” was one saying giggling “Yesterday he gave me diamond earrings and last week we were in Sardinia, Italy for the weekend. And after the weekend, we had time to stop in Milan and he bought me this bag."

Laura continues hearing the girl’s conversation: "Wow! This thing with the website is going really well for you girl, the guys really love open their wallet" Answered the other girl, bursting laughing making fun of the idiot who was financing her girlfriends for the new wardrobe operation.

Laura could still hear the term the girls used for that man; she hears them calling him "Sugar Daddy". Now Laura was curious, she never heard something like that and she needed to know what it was and how it worked.

Laura was so focused on her goals of having a great life, refusing to date any man until she could find the right one. She would date only a millionaire or a billionaire who could provide all things she ever dreamt about. She didn’t want to date a man who had just some money, just because he had success with a small business in a neighborhood, she wanted to date man who had hundreds of international stores, all men below that financially didn’t interest her at all. She couldn’t help it; it was a complete turn off for Laura a guy who wasn’t highly successful.

She tried dating twice before, first with a lawyer who worked for a bank and after him, with the owner of a car dealership, although they were successful men they fell far from Laura's expectations and she quickly lost interest in them, it was not just not having enough money to be able to give her the life she wanted, they were so boring, bringing up only money problems and blame all other people for their bad luck when business fall through, they were not travelled and were short sighted, looking for a wife to stay home looking for the children. They just didn’t have the right millionaire mindset Laura was looking for in a man.

And that’s why Laura couldn’t stop thinking about the conversation she heard earlier, she thought how much these girls were enjoying life, traveling, meeting people, having the best holidays and having a man who could pay for everything their needed. If there was a website, and she could find out what website they get all that wealthy men, she was definitely interested to try this new approach. As much she thought about, the more she wanted to get a billionaire boyfriend who offered her the best gifts that money could buy.

As soon she arrived home she goes to her laptop and started searching on the internet for the term she heard from one of the girls. Finding several websites about meeting sugar daddies and a few were even recommended by Forbes –
so this one must be real
- she thought.

And with curiosity biting her thoughts, she subscribed on two websites to find out what it was exactly about.

Already in the next day she had her profile active and many messages from men interested to know more about her and meet eventually.

Laura was super excited, but didn’t read the messages because she wants to read them very carefully after returning from work. The day passed to slow, Laura couldn’t stop thinking about all the messages she had to read about wealthy men, looking to have a relationship with a girl and shower her with glamour, gifts and expensive travels.

What kind of open mind men were they to have this kind of dating or was it an arrangement?
- She was so curious about all the messages and who were all the fellows who walked around looking for a woman who could be his.

Deep in her thought only her body was in the store and her mind was in completely different place, a place where she would like to enjoy with a very rich guy.

While her thoughts were waving in her mind like crazy, she start thinking if she could be happy with a millionaire if he had enough money to make her dreams come true, was it enough? She knew for that to happen she needed to give herself, but she wouldn’t mind to achieve her goals.

Now she was questioning in her mind:
“How was cataloged a woman who gives herself to live with the 1% of the wealthy in the world?”

“Women marry with wealthy men all the time, staying at home, depending financially from their husbands isn’t that almost the same thing? Didn’t they sold to a husband and worse they signed for it to be willing dependent? Why should a girlfriend, who accepts expensive gifts and money be considered something else and less honorable. Isn’t everybody free to choose the life they feel good and want? Poor of people who can’t afford to choose, or think they can’t, they live miserable life’s, and can only criticize others who dare to live the life they want?”

And Laura was the one who dare to choose the life she wanted and not the life everybody expected her to live.

Finally she arrived home and went immediately to the laptop to read all the messages. When she started there was some very general like “how are you” “tell me more about you”…, but there were two messages that gain Laura’s attention.

She starts to read the first message and that guy knew how to send a message to a woman, he was attentive, direct to the point without shocking, he praised Laura for her beautiful photos and immaculate image she has, ending inviting her to a weekend in Ibiza with all expenses paid.

Laura saw his profile in detail and saw his net worth, but it was still too low for her. He could never offer Laura what she was looking for; he was just not good enough for her.

If she was jumping in a situation like an arrangement, it needed to be with a guy who had it all, anything below that, didn’t interested Laura.

The second message deserved her full attention, it was from a man double Laura’s age, but she didn’t care about age and if he has money, he is definitely attractive; a wealthy man doesn’t need to be handsome when he is rich. Being well groomed, smelling good, and having a good taste he can be definitely an attractive man for Laura.

Laura was not looking to fall in love; she was looking for good time and enjoys what best life has to offer.

He’s asking if she wants to have dinner, to get to know each other in the following days, because he has a highly lucrative deal to propose her during the dinner. Laura could see that the profile had no picture and had scarce of personal information. She was interested mainly in the part where it said "highly lucrative deal" and that was what made Laura reply to him.

Intrigued by the brief but concise message, Laura replied saying she was available the following day for dinner.

Putting the computer aside, she went for a shower and dinner, ending up sitting front of the TV watching a movie. She couldn’t focus on the movie, only thinking on the website and the message she just replied.

Could it be so easy?
– She couldn’t stop thinking.

Laura was a little bit afraid that all of it could be false or some sort of a scam, she had heard many strange internet stories among her friends. She knew, she needed to be very careful in this unknown mined field.

But she was so driven by curiosity and the need to know more, she turned the computer on again and searched for more information, finding where they had enrolled and received messages, the website was recommended in the news and all over the internet, there was no doubt that the website was genuine, people who also attended they should be too.

Laura saw she had a new message, with his phone number, added the number without even knowing what name she should call him, she decided to chose "Sugar Daddy". After recording his number, Laura sent a text message to identify herself and promptly received another message saying that they could meet the next day for dinner, she asked for his favorite restaurant. Trying to understand based on his decision how wealthy he really was.

For Laura’s surprise he replied that he would love to take her for a private dinner at Morton's club on Berkeley Square one of the most fashionable and expensive areas in the heart of London. Accepting excited but not showing in the messages, she had a feeling he was the real deal.

They exchanged a few more messages, he introduced as Ali Barwan and asked her full name because he had to announce her at the club entrance.

Already in bed, she tried to fall asleep but she couldn’t stop wondering how Ali would be, and how he would look, was he a caring and enjoyable man and would be wealthy for real, was he in the 1% percent type…

Falling asleep only in the morning knowing she would have her answers by the end of the day.

With only a few hours resting she got up early, made a facemask and took a shower. Got the hair done properly, improved make-up ending up putting her best dress and high heels, she was ready for dinner but the day needed to go through first.

She spent all day working anxious and excited at the same time, and finally when it was time to go to Mayfair for dinner at the club to meet Ali, Laura was already extremely nervous. Before entering the club she took her time refreshing her make-up, she wanted to present herself flawless, and finally she got in the club. And she was little bit sexy but not too much, with a beautiful super model look.

At the entrance she signed her name and was informed that Mr. Ali was already waiting for her in the other room, she followed the receptionist and walked up to a fancy room being directed to a table where Ali was sitting sipping a drink.

She looked at him, he looked at her, both smiled, he stood up and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

In the first seconds Laura could figure out he was over 40 years, perhaps already on his early 50’s which she couldn’t know for certain as he had a nice figure and was fairly in shape with a brownish skin –
He is Arabic
- concluded Laura mentally.

"I wasn’t wrong, you're stunning live still more than your photos, I have seen them in your profile. You have an amazing figure, are you a model?"

"Thanks for your compliments, but no, I’m not a model, I just work in an international designer store in Sloane Square" answered Laura smiling at him.

"What a waste" answered genuinely Ali admiring her.

They talked frenetic, if they were old friends stopping for moments only to take a sip from the cocktail set on the table for them in the meantime.

Laura was very excited, she learned that Ali was the owner of a large construction company in the Middle East, however his company was expanded to many other countries in the Middle East and he had another company extracting oil in Africa.

Feeling like she gains the first prize, she couldn’t believe how lucky she was, Laura was thrilled but she tried to keep a lady posture, she knew how important it was to behave on a first date. She wanted to impress Ali, making him interested in her immediately.
