Zoe bent down and kissed Star’s soft head. “That’s wonderful!” she said. “And the Rescue Zoo will be your home for ever. Sleep tight, and we’ll see you tomorrow.”
Star gave a happy squeak before snuggling back down and closing her eyes. By the time Zoe closed the enclosure gate, the silky seal pup was fast asleep and snoozing peacefully.
Meep jumped into Zoe’s arms for a cuddle as they walked back home, and Zoe gave a contented sigh. Every creature at the Rescue Zoo would sleep happily tonight. And now that their home was safe, there would be lots more exciting animal adventures to come!
