“Avilon?” he asked, worry coloring his voice. “What’s wrong?”

“I need to talk to you and Eli.”

“He’s in the back going over the account ledgers.”

She walked around to the side entrance and opened the door to the back office, Jason right on her heels.

Eli took one look at her face and shot to his feet. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m…I’m pregnant,” she whispered, placing her hands protectively over her still-flat stomach.

Both men stared at her with a mixture of shock and dawning happiness. Finally, Eli grabbed Jason’s hand and put it on top of hers.

“It’s your baby,” he murmured with a trace of awe in his voice, “just like you wanted.”

Jason shook his head. “Eli, it’s
our
baby.”

Eli looked at him, then at her, and tears welled up in his eyes, highlighting the love radiating from them. “God, I love you. I love you both.”

Then she kissed each man softly on their cheeks, staring at their entwined fingers, feeling blessed to have two such amazing men love her.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am a full-time writer and stay-at-home mom, which means I watch a lot of Cartoon Network and Disney. Over and over again. I hate washing dishes, but I love cooking. I hate washing clothes, but I love wearing them. I try to write characters who aren’t cookie cutters, ones who are full of angst but where love redeems them. I push myself to write complicated situations that I have no idea how to resolve, forcing me to think outside the box. Music inspires me, and each story has its own signature song. I hate people who don’t pick up their dog’s crap in public places, and I really hate people who are rude and condescending. I especially hate discrimination in all and every form. The perfect place on Earth is sitting in a bookstore. I love to hear from readers. I’m really easy to find on Facebook or Twitter or email me at [email protected].
