Cat then announces “Well, the idea of these things has been around for hundreds of years,
It seems that there was truth behind these commercialised stories after all!”

“Well, if someone said to me, what irrational
subject would I believe in the most if I had to choose, I would have said Aliens and not Zombies, personally. Anyway, It seems that we have uncovered a lot more than teleportation. I still can’t help thinking it’s our fault though” Paul adds.

“Well
it’s not our fault; it’s that guy that Jack just capped actually…” Alex points out.

“Good point babe. However, I think these ‘zombies’ are in fact something to do with our teleporter also” John adds cautiously.

“Maybe a frequent user may deteriorate more than someone who used in once?” Cat implies.

“No frequent flier points here” John says for a laugh. They all laugh for a split second before
Will asks “Can this actually get any worse? I mean like Actually? I honestly don’t think it can get any worse at all, A nuclear war would certainly clear up all of this shit wouldn’t it?”

Jack then takes a seat, knocking the TV and turning it on. It’s surreal as the first sound from the TV is “Zombies. That’s right, the un dead have been spotted in large numbers on the streets of Greece. Scientists have already proven these creatures to be
‘not of the living’ and their stance is extremely hostile and brutal. They cannibalise everything they see, just like the movies. However, unlike the movies, these ‘zombies’ tend to be either fast or slow. The fast ones are deadly and must not be underestimated at any time. Airstrikes have been called in to eradicate this threat…”

“Oh for fuck sake.
This is ridiculous!” Paul bursts out as he turns the TV off in a strop. The team, even the SAS guys turn and look at him strangely as he in normally so reserved.

“One step forward, two steps back” Alex points out.

“Ok, let’s recap. Bad Points; We made the FTRTP’s and they we’re released prematurely by ‘old undead’ over there, the world leaders got hold of them, we narrowly avoided a full scale nuclear war but two nukes went off so thousands are dead anyway and now we have zombies and soulless people walking the streets… oh and we have a new holiday destination of a hostile dimension to visit. Book your tickets now at www.WhatTheFuck.com…”

The team can’t help but to snigger and laugh at John’s quotes, then he continues “Good points; I seem to have found this wonderful specimen of a woman who is mine, we have perfected teleportation and we have touched upon inter dimensional travel… Oh and we’ve fought with the SAS- that is an honour
…”

Alex goes slightly red but then takes John’s hand as the rest of the team realise the scale of the work that they have cut out for them.

“… All we need to do now is Kill a load of zombies, get peoples soul back from that dimension and destroy the last teleporter; oh and not to mention rebuild the world, then I think we’ll be just about done!”

After John is done with his quite funny rant,
John, then gets another call from another strange number.

“Hello?” John answers.

The user on the other end of the phone sounds very distressed, and quite faint; what’s more there is a lot of interference. The voice says;

“John… It’s me… Dave…”

“Dave! Thank God you’re alive!? How? What happ...”

Dave then interrupts
“I don’t have much time… please believe me… I’ve called backup but the nuke is affecting everything… they may have launched an EMP with the nuke or something.”

You’re not making sense! What can you see? How are you speaking to me if there was EMP?” John asks.

Dave replies
“Small CB Radio linked to a secret satellite frequency with a little mod-tap we have. Its clever stuff- I’m on the side of Mt Mihara this is the only way I could contact you.”

John then gets frustrated and says “Well what can you fucki
ng see?! What is it? Zombies?”

Dave laughs “
Hahaha, you crack me up. No mate, it’s worse. I don’t want to say the word that I think it is- I’ll sound daft…”
“Just tell me I need to know if there is any more weird shit going on! Trust me; nothing you can say to me now will shock me! We’ve had actual zombies, hostiles from another dimension…”

Then Dave butts John out and says one word which sends a shiver down johns spine and makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand u
p…

“…Aliens”

“… Really? You’re sure?” John clarifies

“Yes, hundreds of them. Their ships are so fast I’ve never seen anything move so quickly in my life and they’re all in formation… They’re landing and I can see them walking around- they seem to be heading towards the underground entrance where we destroyed the teleporter and captured the emperor…” Dave explains.

“What do they look like?”

“If I asked you to draw an alien, this is what you’d draw” Dave replies.

“I don’t know why they’re here in particular, of all places…” Dave wonders

John then points out the obvious “They’re here for the technology- for the teleporter… the nuke probably attracted them somehow… I hope you destroyed it…”

“Yeah, I saw it get blown apart mate, don’t worry about that. Right, I’m off, I’m
gonna hideout here for a bit. Get the world down here. Over and out” Dave hangs up.

It is then when a flashbang enters every
broken window of the lab, from every direction.

Jack and Will know exactly what is happening
and they shield their own eyes and ears, before drawing their weapons, whereas the elite 4 get stunned by the flashbangs and fall straight to the floor.

All they can hear is gunfire and a lot of.

They can hear muffled voices and they can’t focus properly, but then suddenly the room falls silent and as the voices and silhouettes come more into focus, one of them says;

“Base, all 4 targets secure
and 2 tangos down, RTB, Over”
Just as they hear this, they each feel a sharp pain in the arm, before passing out.

Chapter 8-
The Final Push

The time is now, the place is here, the universe has yielded many secrets in the past few
months and the result is mind blowing. Everything we knew, Everything we practiced, Every theory we had now has to be challenged. The world leaders cannot hide or cover up any more stories. The world as we knew it is gone. Some would say for the best, most others would say differently.

Years ago people were ridiculed for saying that they were ‘abducted’ by ‘Aliens’, or telling a friend that they saw something in the sky which they couldn’t explain, or even saying that the videos of UFOs that were popping up more and more were real… now
they have just been proved correct. The thing with the human race is that we are constantly looking down, reading books, on computers and phones; nobody takes the time to ‘look up’. Even Zombies, something that was even more ridiculous than Aliens has proved otherwise which gives new respect, and fear to all of the human race’s stories and legends.

John, Paul, Alex and Cat are the chosen ones. Chosen and abducted by the US Government and taken to a secret location to try to provide them with insight and understanding into these ‘brand new’ technologies which have just been discovered
. The word is in panic, the world knows that is has been lazy in preparing for an Extra-terrestrial invasion, and now they think that there is going to be an invasion they are worried, and rightly so.

The threat is no longer on our shores, but in our skies.

Disclosure has just happened automatically. The internet is buzzing with these pictures and videos fresh from in and around Japan.

“What, where are we?” Alex asks
as she awakes with the others in a cold, medium sized grey room with two beds in.
“Come back to bed babe, I got something to show you…” John says in his sleep, before waking up and realising what happened.

“Please report to bay 2, immediately” A voice says o
ver a loud PA system. This then wakes up Paul and Cat. They awake from their slumber and rub their eyes in a confused fashion as they walk out of their metallic and cold room into the joining corridor. The corridor is long, and has windows either side of it, on one side the window looks out to a huge aircraft hangar which has all of these different type of aircraft, few of them are familiar. In fact, the majority of them look like something from the future with one exception. The only aircraft that the team mutually recognise is the SR-71 Blackbird which was taken out of service, but they spot another aircraft with ‘NASA’ on both of the tail fins.
“Ah look, that’s the Aurora” Says Paul.

Then a very weird noise distracts them from the right side
window and has their undivided attention drawn to the left hand window. It is full of circular aircraft, all different shapes and variants. The classic ‘UFO’.

“Guys, You do realise where we are, don’t you?” Cat asks.
“Area 51…” Paul replies.

“What the fuck are we doing here?” John asks.

“Let’s just do what the voice said, ok?” Alex says cautiously as she realises that their every move is being monitored.

They arrive at bay 2, the doors slide open and there stands 4 or 5 people who look like fellow scientists.

“Greetings, I hope we weren’t too rough on the pickup? Don’t worry, your confusion will end soon, we were all recruited like that!” Neil says.

The elite 4 are speechless as they do not know if they are there as prisoners or as assets.

“Look at this, tell me what you think” Neil then leads the team to a sort of balcony that overlooks a very long runway which seems to go from the hangar which is below and it goes up at about a 30 degree incline to a hole in the ceiling.

“Down there, is our technology and up there is civilisation. As you’ve probably guessed, you are in Area 51 or Alpha 51 as the pilots like to call it”
Neil explains. “Ground rules, don’t try to escape, you will be killed no matter how much we need your help. We will release you once you have helped us and you will be rewarded. You can pretty much get anything you want, so start thinking about it now!”

The elite 4 are still disorientated and seem a bit like they need to wake up before taking any more information in.

“Ok, any second now” Neil says as the roof doors open.

In a Whoosh, a light entered the opening in the blink of an eye and seemed to go from light speed to a slow 10 or 15 mile per hour crawl in literally an instant.

“But the G forces associated with tha…” Paul starts to ask a question but Neil then continues “…Basically, Paul, The vessel has its own mini- atmosphere. Almost like it is inside a bubble, the G-forces, temperatures, gravity, munitions and atmospheres are impenetrable to this energy field. It is an exception to the rule which allows it to perform these ‘impossible’ manoeuvres. It is alien tech before you ask…”

“Mind blowing” John says as he is uncovering new things about this universe.

“So we’re not alone?” Cat asks.

“Nope, in fact,
that’s Jeff in there now!” Neil claims.

“Jeff?” Alex asks.

“Oh sorry, silly me. Jeff is an extra-terrestrial; he resides here with 40-50 others like him since his home planet got destroyed by a black hole. He’s a bipedal, just like us. He is sharing his technology with us; he is a scientist for his race.”

As
Neil is showing the elite 4 around, and explaining all of this alien technology to them, they end up in a very futuristic lab.

“Ok, now all you have to do is
make your teleporter and you can be on your way” Neil orders.

“We cannot just…” Cat tries to talk before she is butted out by
Neil “… Please, just comply. It’s for your own sake”

Neil
then leaves the room. The lab has 4 doors; two doors that lead into very luxurious bedrooms; the other two doors lead to a kitchen with en suite dining room which has all of the most modern technology and a living room which has a huge 76” HD 3D television. “Amazing. Let’s just stay here?” John hints in a joking tone.

“I say we do it you know. We know it’s safe, we have what we want. We just don’t give them…” Cat starts but then John interrupts “Cat, please, we’re being monitored at all times remember?”

“Oh yeah, Thanks.” She replies as she was about to spill a secret.

“No CCTV
hack here unfortunately” Alex adds.

The elite 4 then get on with it and start putting together a requirements list, and start planning the build.

Meanwhile, Dave is in hiding on the side of Mt Mihara. It is only himself and 4 others; Steve, Richard, Geoff and the unconscious Japanese emperor. The rest of the unit, 22 of Brittan’s finest in fact, got taken out by the nuclear blasts. All they can do is look on whilst the Aliens are buzzing around and landing in desperate search for something. They are low on ammo and exhausted when Dave gets a message through on his radio.

“Team, come in, over”.

“We’re read you loud and clear, go ahead, over” Dave replies.

“We need to know what these extra-terrestrials look like. It is imperative that you are clear and concise about the description, over” the voice informs the team over radio.

“Who is this?” Richard orders.

“We don’t
exist, it’s pointless trying to explain now. Just tell us what they look like. We need to know colour, height, length of neck and how they appear to be moving, over”.

“Ok, well fr
om what I can see, they are grey… approximately 5 foot tall, definitely shorter than me with small bodies and big heads. Neck size appears to be in proportion.” Dave says.

“Can you confirm they are not green with long
necks, over?”

Dave replies “Affirmative, I can confirm that. Their movement is fluent and non-hesitant, quite fast and they appear to be taking long strides
for their height, over”.

“Thank you
for confirming this. Over and out”.

“What was that about?” Dave asks Richard. “No idea, they’re probably trying to identify them as friend or foe… I hope t
hey’re friendly, for our sake” Geoff adds.

Just then, a beam of light appears above them, and a deep bass sound fills the air to which they need to cover their ears. A voice then says
in perfect English “Please hand over your teleportation technology. It will absolutely do more harm than good. Comply or Die” The voice sounds non-human but is very well spoken. The light then focuses on the team, forcing them to shield their eyes.

Suddenly one of those aliens Dave described over radio appears in front of them. It appears at first to be making the ‘peace’ sign; two of its 4 fingers are erected as it slowly and cautiously approaches.

“We mean you no harm. You need to hand over your technology, or something evil will be unleashed that not even we can stop. We have detected massive energy fluctuations, which is damaging to the already fragile continuum, you cannot proceed with your use of this.”

David,
shocked then says “We are trying to stop the technology also, we have a common enemy…” Then the alien butts out Dave in a very angry tone “… NO! No enemy! No war! Direct us to it, there is still one in use”.

“We don’t know where it is either!” Richard responds.
Just then, the Alien vanishes and the craft that is overhead speeds off at a mind blowing speed, followed by all of the other aliens.

“Area clear, need
Evac, Over” Richard signals on radio.

“Let’s RTB” G
eoff says to Dave who is still in awe of what just happened.

Back at the lab, things are going well when a few more
scientist are escorted in.

“Learn” one of the guards says, before striding off.

“Hi” Alex greets them.

“Hello, we here to learn how
me make this work” one of the scientists says in broken English.

The elite 4 then look at each other and all think the same thing. The elite 4 plan to teach them wrongly, but actually build one
so they can demonstrate it working then hopefully leave. Obviously nobody knows about this technology so any extra ‘features’ they put in would be un noticed. Paul is already covertly building a kill switch for it within the main circuit board which when activated, will disable the teleporter and damage its main parts beyond repair, making it almost impossible to reverse engineer. This is the elite 4’s little bit of ‘insurance’.

Just then the ground shakes
and the alarms go off.

Defcon 1, repeat, Defcon 1, All personnel to your stations, and await further instruction”.

The team of scientist look at each other as they are unsure what to do. The elite 4 then sprint for the balcony they were previously shown,
with intensions of using the fire hose reel John noticed to lower themselves down onto that runway to escape out of the big doors to the surface. These doors are the only that will open as the aircrafts are spooling up as the team look out of the windows briefly as they run past.

Everyone is confused and nobody knows what is going on. The pilots- human and alien are sprinting to their craft.

“War, we’re going to war!” one of the marines who runs past the E4 shouts in an American gung-ho attitude.

“With who?!”
John shouts as it is hard to be heard above the alarm, to be met with a reply “Russians!”

As they sprint round a corner, they are met by two cockney voices “Guys! Wait up!”

It’s Will and Jack, fully kitted out in US marine wear and armed to the teeth with M249’s and rocket launchers.

“We, We saw you guys die! Wh..” Paul claims when Jack says “We
’re invincible, we can’t die!”

Will then announces
as they all run towards the balcony “Rubber bullets my friend. They fucking hurt enough to knock anyone out at close range!”

“Fucking glad to see you guys!”
John shouts as they arrive at the balcony.

The team then
unreel the fire hose, and Jack is the first one to rappel down.

“Freeze” Says one US marine who is now aiming his weapon at the elite 4 and Will.

“Weapons down, step back from the balcony” the marine says.

“Mate, we done have much time, we need to get outside- now. We’re SAS, look
, here’s my ID…” as Will goes for his ID card, the US marine snaps;

“Don’t fucking move a muscle
, let me” as the marine reaches for his pocket, Will then grabs the barrel of the M4 carbine with his left hand and points it skyward, Will then puts his right foot behind the marines right foot and grabs the butt of the rifle with his right hand whilst pushing the marine over. He then twists the gun counter clock wise so the marines finger comes off the trigger and Wills right hand is now down by his left elbow, he then elbows the marine in the face, sending him backwards to the floor. He has just disarmed the marine in literally 2 seconds.

The marine, lying there, stunned with a bloody nose says, “I take it that was your ID card then,
if you are SAS if coming with you guys. I can show you a way out of the compound”
