No one ever tells you how hard it is to finish a book, to beat your head on the keyboard through the first draft, then the second, third, forth, twentieth, hundredth and that’s all before the edits. But there’s a silver lining. You get to find a group of people who will stand by you and support you and cushion those brain numbing keyboard blows. I’m fortunate enough to call all of them family.
