I stroked faster. My brother’s breathing grew heavy as if he was getting hornier with each lick. I pushed his noises out as much as I could and focused only on her sweet sounds as she gasped and shrieked in ecstasy.

In my mind, I had her on her knees bent over. The lights would be on so I could see her wet flesh while I teased her with the head of my dick. She’d scream my name over and over, pleading with me to just fill her.

And I would.

“Hell yeah, I would.” I thrust into my closed fist. “Yeah.”

By this moment, I blocked the scene on the balcony out, even Dawn’s moaning. She was in my head now, rocking back and forth on my length. Her ass jiggling with the swaying of her hips.

“That’s right you give it to me.” I pumped and thought I might have heard something, but wasn’t too sure. Or didn’t care. I needed to come. That’s all I could think about.

I had to get some sort of feeling of ecstasy after losing so many times in the casino tonight. My pockets hung empty. I had no money to my name. Dawn had been right. I should’ve left with her, but I didn’t. I wagered it all away, just like I’d just let Freddy win her too.

So that was why I held on to, this instance in my head where Dawn was with me. On the side of our humping bodies lay stacks of money.

“Yeah, spread it open for me, just a little more.” I gripped the head hard and gently rubbed. Sparks of pleasure ripped through me.

“Max! What the fuck, man?”

I opened my eyes. Freddy stood in the balcony opening. Dawn slipped in front of him and came into the living room, hugging her breasts. I wished I could’ve said that I stopped or got control of myself, but with her so close and me, drunk and already feeling like crap, I continued. Gliding my hand along my length, I licked my lips and gazed at her.

And even better, she didn’t look away. No disgust spread over her face as she bit her lip and took in the size of what I held in my hand.

Cursing, Freddy turned and formed his hands into fists. “If you don’t stop that shit now, I’m going to punch you—”

“Freddy stop.” She avoided my stroking hands and hurried over to him. “He looks drunk out of his mind.”

“I-I’m not drunk,” I stuttered.

“You are masturbating in front of me and your brother.” She ran her fingers through her hair. “Trust me. You’re wasted.”

“Hmm.” I leaned my head to the side and admired that wonderful behind of hers. “Come here.”

“Look. Let me take care of him,” Freddy said to Dawn. “Go ahead in your bedroom.”

“No.” I sped up my hands and loving the delicious friction. “Wait, Dawn.”

Freddy blew out an aggravated breath as Dawn covered her mouth and stared at me.

“Is that drunken asshole still jacking off behind me?” Freddy asked Dawn as he grabbed his jacket off the floor and handed it to her.

“Oh yes. This is the strangest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life.” She laughed and put his coat on. “I feel like grabbing my cellphone and taking a video of this.”

“I don’t think this is funny. Go to my room,” he ordered.

She held her finger up. “Don’t yell at me like that.”

“I’m just saying. He’s trying to get attention from you and you’re giving it to him.”

“Hello.” She waved her hand in the air. “He’s jacking off in the living room right in front of us. He was going to get my attention anyway.”

“Oh, stop arguing.” I let go of my erection and stumbled over to them.

Dawn rolled her eyes. “What? Are we ruining this moment for you?”

“Come here. Let me show you what you’re ruining.”

“Not happening, Max.”

“Oh, it will happen.” I slipped, almost fell, but got a hold of myself in time to not crash to the ground. Instead, I leaned on the back of the couch with my dick hard and pointing outward.

Is that Dawn’s name tattooed on Freddy’s shoulder. No way.

I hiccuped. “Maybe I am a bit tipsy. I think I’m seeing things.”

“Let me get you some water.” She held Freddy’s jacket closed and walked over to the bar.

“You’re going to make me something to drink?” I couldn’t hide the shock that hit me square in the chest.

“Uh, yes. It’s not really a big deal.” She got behind the bar, took out some glasses, and set them on the surface. She caught our glances and paused from what she was doing. “What?”

“Most chicks expect to be waited on. None have ever just got up and made us something to drink.”

“I don’t believe that.” She dropped ice cubes into each glass. “And if that is true, I doubt you two deserved women waiting on you anyway.”

“Hey, I’m not that bad of a guy all the time.” I swayed a little.

Freddy tapped my shoulder. “Put your dick in your pants, man.”

“Stop touching me.” I shoved myself back into my boxer briefs and zipped up.

“You crossed the line tonight,” Freddy said through clenched teeth. “You went well past disrespect. Don’t ever fucking do something like that again.”

Dawn clinked the glasses against each other, probably to get our attention. “Freddy, relax. There’s no need to argue and if you must, save it for when your brother is sober. He won’t remember anything you’re saying anyway.”

“Oh, I’ll remember,” I said. “I’ll especially remember the way you were moaning outside on my balcony.”

“And on that note, I’m going to take a shower and go to sleep.” She headed in the direction of her bedroom. “Your water is on the bar.”

“I’ll come in there in a few minutes,” Freddy said.

She glanced over her shoulder and raised her eyebrows. “Why are you coming?”

“Because we’re not done.” Freddy’s words came out low and with a deep hungry growl.

“I’m sorry, but I’m done for the night. Too much is going on and I’m really out of it.” She sashayed away, got in her room, and closed the door behind her. Laughter bubbled out of me.

“She has some audacity. I’ll go get her.” Chuckling, I marched off.

Freddy grabbed and pulled me back. “No. Leave her alone.”

“Fuck that. Why? She’s a nobody that we brought to Monte Carlo for god-sake, she should be much more grateful.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“With the money I’ve spent on her, any other chick would be on this couch right now, bending over for the both of us.”

“That’s not how she is.”

I pushed him away. “She’ll be that way tonight.”

He captured my shoulder and shoved me down. I fell back, my butt collapsing into the couch.

“You need to sit down and sober up, especially if you start talking like that. Have you lost it?”

“Yeah. Yeah.” I spat on the floor. “I’ve lost it. That’s me, Max, Mr. Losing It All.”

Freddy rubbed his eyes. “Is that your spoiled brat way of telling me that you’ve lost more money?”

“Maybe.”

“How much did you lose?”

“All of it, and more.”

Freddy took a step forward. “More? What do you mean more?”

“I borrowed against the house and lost that.”

“How much?”

“A mill.”

“You lost three million dollars tonight.” He charged my way and yanked me up by my shoulders, shaking me over and over while he cursed. Sound came behind me. I punched his chest. Stumbling back, he still managed to get his fist to my jaw. Pain exploded in that area and then surged to my skull.

“Freddy, don’t!” Dawn yelled and appeared on our side. I had no idea when she ran out of the room, but was glad she did. Granted, Freddy hadn’t noticed. Another punch banged into the other side of my jaw.

“I’ve had enough of you this week!” Freddy reared his arm back to come at me again.

“Okay. Okay. That’s enough.” Dawn jumped in the way and wagged her arms. “What are you two fighting over?”

I tasted blood and spat it out on the carpet. “My dear brother is mad that you won’t give him anymore of that good stuff and so he’s taken his anger out on me.”

Sighing, she turned to Freddy as if asking the question again.

“Max lost the two million he won, borrowed a million against the house, and lost that. My card is the one that’s on the accounts at this place because he doesn’t have any more money to support himself. So, in reality, I’ve lost it.” Freddy paced back and forth. “I’m done with this. At first you were dragging yourself down into the sewer, now you’re trying to bring me with you. I’m not going.”

“You’re already there,” I muttered.

“No. I’m going to inform my money manager tomorrow that you will no longer have access to any of my accounts.”

“Wait a minute.” I stretched my jaw. “Don’t do that. I can get us the money back. I just need a quarter of a million or so. Ask Dawn. She saw me play. I was magical wasn’t I?”

She averted my eyes. “I think you really need help.”

“Well, you’re a whore that we just met, so who cares what you think.” I rose up from the couch.

“You’re a mean drunk,” Dawn muttered.

Freddy pushed me back down. “Say sorry.”

“No.” I glared at him and got back up.

“I don’t need an apology,” she said. “It’s not like I hold Max’s opinion of me very highly. I think both of you should go to bed and sleep this off.”

“I’m not the idiot drunk that’s trying to lose all of our money,” Freddy said.

“But you
are
the big bully in the room that should go somewhere and calm down.”

He crossed his arms and glared at her. I checked her expression.

She scowled at him. “Goodnight, Freddy.”

He leaned his head to the side. “Am I now being excused?”

“I think you should go cool off,” she said.

“Fine.” He marched away, but instead of going to his bedroom he went straight to hers.

She sucked her teeth and looked at me. “What are you going to do?”

“I’ll be fine. Freddy says this stuff now, but he won’t back it up. I’ll be fine.”

“You should get help.”

“I know.”

“Do you? What you lost tonight and in addition to the amount from weeks ago,” she shook her head, “That’s a big ass sign saying that you are a gambling addict. Even worst, you’re going to end up broke and out on the street.”

“Freddy wouldn’t do that.”

She shrugged and headed away. “Be careful, Max. And have a good life.”

“Why are you saying it that way? Like I won’t see you again?” I asked.

“You won’t. I’m done.” She saluted. “You two are a whirlwind tour in depravity. I’m getting off the ride and traveling in the normal person lane from now on.”

“I hope not. You’re growing on me.”

“Whatever. You just called me a whore a few minutes ago.”

“Like you said, I’m a mean drunk.”

With her back to me, she waved that comment away.

“Dawn,” I called after he as she got to her doorway. “I’m sorry for calling you a whore. I was just mad and—”

“Max, it’s fine. Not to be rude, but I really don’t care.” She gave me a weak smile. “Do me a favor. Go to the mirror, look at yourself, and then tell me if I should value your opinions. Your pants are still open by the way.”

With that, she shut the door.

I stood there in this sort of frozen shock. Inside my brain, I battled with my perception and reality.

She’s wrong. I might have a problem, but things aren’t that bad.

But, I never moved, never went off like she said to go look at myself. I couldn’t. Fear froze my nerves into ice, because in the back of my mind, something tapped at my skull, and whispered, “She’s right. You’re a mess. When are you going to get it together?”

Chapter 13

~Dawn

T
he sound of
the shower running came from my suite’s bathroom. Freddy had beaten me to washing up and pretty much silently declared that he would be staying in my room tonight.

It couldn’t happen. Him and I laying in the bed was not on my evening’s event list. Freddy had mangled my body into soreness, from the hard-hitting thrusting out on the balcony to the tongue whipping he did to my clit afterwards. I couldn’t take any more and needed to sleep for a long time, lots of rest.

So why am I heading to the bathroom? I should just collapse on my bed. Sure I need to clean up, but there won’t be any washing happening with the sexy guy in my shower.

I continued to my demise anyway.

Steam moistened the space when I stepped in. White lilies leaned in all of the crystal vases in each corner of the room. They gave off this great flowery fragrance. An odd chandelier of blue gems dangled from the center of the ceiling and spread the area in dots of bouncing light. Next to the sink, soft music played low from the speakers lodged inside of the bordering wall. Shimmering turquoise decorated the bathroom from the walls to the floor. Its smooth surface slid easily against my bare feet as I tip toed. The whole room was as big as my living room. It was just ungodly huge with a toilet, bidet, jacuzzi tub in the center, as well as a long his and her shower several feet at the end.

Our shower possessed no curtain or glass door, only three walls and an opening. Freddy had both of his hands planted on the wall in front of the shower’s head. His back was to me. Water drenched his brown waves and streamed down in squiggly lines along his neck, back, and muscled ass.

What a statue of hotness.

In another world that existed in some alternate realm, I loved this man. My heart cherished him and he gave me even more return. He represented everything I yearned to have—ambition, honesty, loyalty, and dedication to not only improve his life, but the lives of others. We traveled the world as we fed the poor and healed the sick. We had plenty of kids, so many the names twirled around in my head like a tornado.

And we made love. I can’t forget that part of the dream.

Oh God, we made love all the time. It was something similar to the waterfall of sexual liquid that flooded my pores earlier, but way more. In that world, he’d won me with his heart. When he placed me in our bed, he unleashed every bit of his essence to me. I served as the only witness in this ripping away of a powerful man. There would be no women after me. We walked that realm with just the objective of our growth spinning around in our heads.

But that’s not where we are now. The man in front of me isn’t someone I should give my heart to.
