They lay there exhausted in each other’s arms.  Grace thought just then about what Avery said in regards to Zeb knowing the exact moment they conceived.  She had to know if it was true.  “Zane, is it true that a warrior knows the exact moment they conceive a child?”  She asked him as she gently stroked the smooth skin of his chest.

Zane did not know how to answer this.  He had a feeling this night but was sure that it might be a bit hard for her to take.  In the end, he figured that she needed to know.  He would break the news to her as gently as he could.  “Yes, my love.  It is true that if we desire it we will know when we conceive.”  He kissed her deeply with the knowledge that he indeed conceived tonight.

“Would you tell me if we did?”  She asked when he finished kissing her.

“I would.”  He said as he looked into her eyes and said, “Grace, we have conceived this night and you will meet them in six to eight months.”

Her eyes became large as she said in disbelief, “Them?”

  Warrior who’s arm is detached on the landing deck while repairing a spacecraft.

Rebecca Anthony Lorino lives in Madisonville, Louisiana with her husband of 16 years, two children, and golden retriever Bessie.  She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Biological Science.  After spending 20 years working in various laboratories as a cellular and molecular biologist, she retired to care for her children.  When she offered to help edit the book “Theron Destiny” written by her sister-in-law, Rebecca Lorino Pond, she grew attached to several of the characters and started to offer suggestions about what could take place in the future of the series.  Several lunches at Olive Garden later, the book became a team effort.
