Jazz knew this was both body and head because a mouth opened and displayed rows upon rows of sharp teeth. A black tongue lapped at its repulsive face, and her nose wrinkled involuntarily at the thought that this was its face.

It reached for her with its tentacles, slurping at the air. Jazz did not recognize her own voice as her scream turned from nauseated to aggressive.

Her Fios went into overdrive and was instinctively joined by her Fae magic.

She immediately
Slammed
the creature, and this time she
Slammed
it with her own brand of Fios/Fae magic. It was a new creation. Somehow the Fios in her had joined with the Fae blood and created a method that was bigger, better and oh so close to perfection!

The monster rolled and with a series of grunts, landed so that it was flattened against the back
wards
which acted as an invisible fencing of her cave. It screeched in pain and fury. Before she even knew what it was doing, one long tentacle caught her up and held her high as it bellowed out its victory.

There was nothing else she could do. Because the thing was holding her, if she shifted it would merely shift with her and she would still be in its hold.

With one thing left to do, the notion of what she was doing repulsed her. She thought,
hey, my life or its life,
and she quickly made her decision.

She set the body of the beast on fire, and it immediately released its hold on her.

As she stood and watched the fire consume it, and heard its terrible bellowing before it lay still, she felt a wave of nausea. She always felt sick when she had to kill something. Even when she had to stomp on a spider invading her house, it had always made her feel guilty. Once again though she told herself, this was different. This was a kill or be killed Realm, sad but true.

Even so, the human that would always be who she was told her that killing was horrible. Her Fae told her to expect much more death and destruction to come in the very near future.

Well done
, Jazmine Decker, well done!”

His voice so welcome, so beloved and so damned sexy made her turn and jump into Trevor of Lugh’s embrace. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his hips. She couldn’t speak, she couldn’t think, all she could do
was hold on!

Chapter Six

HE STROKED HER hair, taking its length in his fingers and holding it as he kept her close. He covered her dirty face with his warm hungry kisses, and whispered ancient Danu words of gratitude.

She snuggled against his light shadow beard and reveled in the sound of his voice which seemed like a caressing murmur as he repeated her name over and over again. He held her as though he would never let her go.

She put her head back enough to look into his beloved golden eyes and with her heart bursting with love, demanded “What the hell took you so long?”

He laughed and squeezed her tighter. “I had to find which Realm you were chucked into, which I did. Although I was sure I was in the right place--in the right cave because I found a piece of your clothing, I couldn’t find you.” He sighed, “Then it came to me, just where you were.” He teasingly dangled her torn top in front of her eyes.

“I need a bath and a new wardrobe,” Jazz said as she allowed her legs to release his hips and planted her feet on the ground.

“You can do that with your mind,” he said and kissed her ear and then her neck and remarked, “You are filthy my love.”

Ignoring this as being filthy didn’t deter his kisses or his caresses. She said, “So wait…how could you have been here in this cave and found a piece of my clothing without my seeing you?”

“Because Pestale not only sent you off to die in this savage Realm, but he wanted to make certain I wouldn’t find you by sending you into the past. You are in the past once again.”

“How is it he can manipulate time when he is only an Unseelie?”

“He must have some ancient relic that once belonged to the Dark King. I am only glad that our Orb of Time was able to transport me back here.”

“So the Orb of Time can still arrange time travel?”

“Apparently only into the past but not the future, and in a limited way because of the curvature of the Earth.” He kissed her lightly on the lips and whispered, “We need to meet up with the others. But first, my Jazmine Decker, we are going to my retreat, where I can take my time scrubbing you clean in the shower…” he kissed her fully then, his tongue teasing her for a response and she gave it to him.

She found once again that everything she had become was acceptable because she would be with Trevor forever.

He groaned as he set her apart and she could see a slight hesitation as he said, “I am sorry to tell you, my love, that matters in your human world have deteriorated, and we will be needed to do our part.”

“Pestale got through, didn’t he? They got through and Pestale’s army must be…”

He put a finger to her lips to hush her, “First things first. I have not been apprised of the situation yet, as I was preoccupied with finding you. Soon, we will meet with the Queen and she will give us our specific mission.”

“What about my Frankie? Is she okay?”

He smiled. “She is of course safely on Tir…”

“And Tir? Is the Isle of Tir still safe?”

He grimaced. “Pestale, his brothers, Morrigu and their army will die in a blaze of agony before ever they have a chance to look towards Tir!” He squeezed her and held her close as he said with a soft meaning in his voice, “Are you ready?”

“Am I ever,” she answered and laid her head on his chest, as his shoulder was too high. She wondered fleetingly if Fae females displayed affection and need. Then she thought of Ete and Breslyn and smiled.

She did hope however, that as she became more and more Fae, she would not lose her human side.

“Hold onto me, Jazmine Decker. Hold on, and don’t you ever let go. Got it?”

“Got it big boy,” she said and did just that as they shifted.

The hot water from the many jets in Trevor’s huge shower stall in his private lodge on the Isle of Tir, eased the mental ache she still felt from her experience. Her Fae blood had already healed her physical bruises.

She soaped herself down and put her face to the jet stream of water, when a slight draft made her turn to find Trevor, gloriously naked and stepping inside with her. He was magnificent. It was as simple as that.

Everything about him stunned her senses. His size, of course, but the way he moved, the way he held himself, and the way he touched her.

An intake of breath was all she had time for, as he took her into his arms and kissed her with a passion that would not be denied.

While he held her high above the marbled floor of the shower, she was able to nibble at his ear and neck. He pressed his rock solid body against her and his voice was a primal growl as he told her how he felt.

His words in ancient Danu were translated by her Fae mind and she melted beneath the weight of their meaning.

She wanted him more than she thought it was possible to want another. She heard his low hoarse voice as he looked into her eyes and told her, “I can’t bear it. When you were gone…I couldn’t think…”

She didn’t answer but instead pulled his head down and kissed him again, long and sweetly and with all the passion she felt. It wasn’t just lust though, she had an abundance of that for him. It was more; it was as though her life had wrapped itself around his life and joined into a force beyond her imagination. She felt as though she was a vine that had found another and together they made the strongest form of new life. Together they made that sweet smelling perfect rose that was their love.

Also, the lust wasn’t bad either.

She thrust her tongue into his mouth and pushed her slippery body against his hard rock muscles--all his muscles, and felt his cock throb where it met her flesh.

He lifted her then and she murmured, “Do we have time? Shouldn’t we be on our way to the Queen--suit up for battle…?” She wanted to be right where they were, but she knew duty would soon take them away.

“They are closeted in the Council Room. As it appears we have another problem as well. Breslyn said to take some time to be with you, though not much”. He grinned at her, “but…
enough.”

She giggled. He made her feel like a school girl, or a girl about to make love for the first time with the boy of her dreams. That was what it really was. How could it be anything else? It felt as though everything they did was a first.

And then all thoughts were suspended as he turned her around, bent her over allowing the hot water to cover them both as it streamed sweetly on their skin. He rubbed his long hard shaft against her rump and whispered, “You are the most beautiful female in existence, and you know that, don’t you, my love?”

“All I know is that I love you,” she said hungrily as she felt his shaft tease her.

“I want to just stand here and touch you all day. Ram myself into you and stay inside; live inside you. I want to feel you clench my dick deep inside you as I pleasure you over and over again.”

His beautiful Danu accent always swept hypnotically through her, and when he said things like that, he made her feel savage with need. “
Right now,
Seelie Prince, ram into me right now!” she demanded.

“Aye love, right now…” he answered and did just that.

They knew what was coming. They knew the World would soon be plunged into chaos, but they needed this moment. They needed each other and they gave and took in total physical unity. What they produced when they were together was an age old magic. It was love, pure and simple and it bound them to one another for all eternity.

They didn’t have the time to linger though. They didn’t have the time to snuggle.

Jazz teased him about this being a quickie, even though he rode her a good while and made her climax over and over again.

He laughed and touched her nose, “I put clothes for you on the bed.” He eyed her shyly and looked away as he said, “They are Fae leathers, warrior leathers…the color of our Royal House of Lugh, dark blue and black. I would be honored to have you wear them.” He touched her face, “By doing so, you are announcing yourself my mate…”

“Then let me have at them!” Jazz laughed at the joy that took over his handsome face.

He said, “Radzia, who is the mate to my older brother, Danté, wears what she likes which is black leather when she goes into battle.” He shrugged. “Perhaps I have overstepped my boundaries. Would you like to choose your own color?”

She touched his face and felt the electricity spark from her to him and back to her as she said, “I am honored to wear the color of your Royal House and dark blue goes well with my yellow hair.” She smiled while teasing him with her eyes.

He grinned like a boy and said, “Your eyes, my love are changing. Not Fae, not human. The aqua color like our sea, draws me in. If I look into them any longer, we will not be leaving here now...” such meaning lit in his golden eyes.

Jazz knew in that moment, that life for her would never be the same. For now, Jazmine Decker, Marine Biologist was gone. She had been replaced by Jazmine Decker Fios and Fae warrior in the making.
So be it!
Perhaps the future would sort itself out?

Banzar was poised as he took a stand before the long table of the Council Chamber. He saw out of the corner of his eye that Prince Breslyn’s hand was on the hilt of his Death Weapon and had a moment’s fleeting concern.

He was past the point of no return and negligently brushed his flaming red hair off his shoulders as he brought his eyes to the Queen’s exquisite, but momentarily frigid gaze.

Banzar, unlike Prince Breslyn and Prince Danté was regally and formally dressed in the gold trimmed white tunic and white silk pants which depicted his status as a Council Member.

He faced the Queen of the Seelie Fae boldly and with purpose, but he managed to maintain a respectful tone when he spoke, in spite of the wild glee he felt. He was in fact, consumed by the enormity of what he was doing. He managed to control his emotions and kept them well hidden from all. He had to maintain a position of deep thought, logic, and overall concern.

“My Queen,” he said. “The Council has held an emergency meeting earlier this morning, and we as a whole have decided that while we do not have the power to depose you…yet, we do have the power to remove your ability to have the final vote in the Council. In addition to that, we have decided that you may no longer make the decisions regarding our readiness for battle…
any kind of battle.”

Breslyn stepped forward, his handsome face drawn in incredulous anger. Danté reached out and held his friend’s forearm and cast him a warning glance.
