Kristina Maor, of Kristina Maor Photography, your artistic talent is insane. You brought these characters to life with your photographs and were so generous with your time and help. I am proud to have your pictures on my cover and graphics and even more proud to call you my friend.
Claire Gardner and Marvin Short, thank you both for freezing through the photography session, and for so beautifully and perfectly providing faces (and bodies) for Bree and Drew. It could not have possibly turned out any better and I look forward to our next photo shoot!
Casey Grice, my bruthah from anuthah Muthah—Thank you for serving as the inspiration for all of Sue’s awesome Sue-isms. It is mind bottling how amazing and hilarious you are! I appreciate you brainstorming new ways to screw up common idioms.
Brandy Palmer, Elaine Mosgofian, and Jana Quinn—thank you all for providing a fresh set of eyes and taking one final look at the novel before it went to formatting.
Ashley Wilcox of ACS Tours, thank you for organizing and hosting the blog tour and for your help and guidance along the way.
Kathleen Klingaman— my book guru, thank you for introducing me to this world and for the use of your maiden name. I hope I did it justice.
Daniel Holmes, for your MMA expertise and the use of your gloves, twice.

Charles Sheehan-Miles, you are the man—an unbelievable role model in this chaotic indie world that I have the utmost respect for. Being one of your beta readers has been one of the most gratifying and instructive things I have ever been a part of. I have learned so much from you and still sit in awe of your talent and gift of words. You have helped me and guided me so much along the way and taken the time to show kindness when it was hard to come by. You make the author community a better place and I am proud to know you and to call you a friend.
And last but certainly not least, Andrea Randall. My indie author idol. My mentor. My friend. It is still astonishing to me that I was just one of your many fans and you took the time to respond to my question one day in a Facebook post soliciting help. You have given me more advice and guidance that anyone else in this community and you didn’t have to do any of that. The suggestions and names that you provided to me have saved me a lot of grief and money and I have no idea how to tell you properly how much your kindness and generosity mean to me. I am so grateful that you took a chance on me and allowed me to be one of your beta readers. Learning from your talent and experience has been one of the biggest joys of my life and I hope to be a member of your team for many, many years to come. The entire world needs to know about the genius that is Andrea Randall!

To the reader who took a chance on this book, thank you! If you enjoyed it, please take time to leave a spoiler-free review on the site where you purchased your book. Even if it is only a few sentences, each review makes such a difference for an indie author like me.
About the author
Stacey lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her family, where she works full time as a labor and delivery nurse. Her life is constantly moving and shaking with a five-year-old daughter and busy schedule but in the few and far between lulls and pauses, she finds time to write.
She likes going to the beach; attending and/or hosting ANY kind of party; dancing (not very well but like no one is watching); jamming out to any and all music that is not in the country genre (especially 80’s); girls’ nights out (preferably with wine); painting (also not very well); getting pedicures; comedy movies, shows, and books; a wicked sense of humor; brutal honesty but not cruelty; taking impromptu nature walks with her daughter and husband; people watching (for research purposes, of course); eating good food (especially cheese, bacon, chocolate, and anything with any of those three items in, on top of, or around it); wasting obnoxious amounts of time on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Goodreads; and of course she luuuurrrrvvvveeees to read!
She dislikes people who are closed-minded; hotdogs, peaches, and cantaloupe; doing the dishes; cleaning the litter box; the smell of fresh cut grass and anything to do with yard work; wearing a bra and/or spanx (especially the combination of wearing them both at the same time); slow internet speed; slow drivers; slow people; slow anything; not being in control; the smell of cigarette smoke; when people spoil books in their reviews; not having lip gloss on at all times; when the toilet paper is not put onto the holder correctly (with the roll coming over the top); and of course that there aren’t more hours in the day to write.
