After Train’s bombing campaign ended things dragged in the thread.

>Since I was having dinner with a girl for the first time, I did my research.

Mmmmm. . . . . .I don’t know about this one.

Train, good job. I ate cup noodles for dinner.

Dats all.

I think ‘Since I was having dinner with a girl for the first time, I did my research’ basically is synonymous with ‘I’m a virgin.’

you think it was a bad move huh . . .

Hold it!

There is a chance that she might not think too hard about ‘Since I was having dinner with a girl for the first time, I did my research’ . . .

At the rate Train’s going now, anything is possible . . . . . .

Hermes might actually think it’s sweet a man trying to transform himself for her.

All right. Why don’t we all start writing lines for when Train professes his love for her.

morning people ´A`))

unlike what we expected, we didn’t suffer that many casualties, eh but Train’s battle is yet to come

I think he should wait a bit before telling her he loves her but

He should take her on a hardcore date just to suss out Hermes’ true feelings about him. I live out in Chubu so I’ll leave it to the sexy Kanto folk to come up with the location . . . (´A`)

at an observatory looking out over the city lights at night

Lady Hermes

‘Isn’t that beautiful . . . ’

Train Man

‘This is my favourite spot . . . ’

Lady Hermes

‘Really . . . thank you so much for sharing such a place.’

Rain Man

‘Of course, I shared it only because it was you, Lady Hermes’

Lady Hermes

‘(laughs) That makes me happy.’

After a moment of silence both hands brush against one another out of the blue

Brain Man

‘Oops, I’m so sorry (he suddenly pulls hand away)’

Lady Hermes

‘(in muffled voice) . . . you didn’t have to pull away’

Sprain Man

‘Wha . . . ’

Drain Man

‘Umm . . . Lady Hermes?’

Lady Hermes

‘Y . . . yes . . . ’

(both hearts beating wildly)

Grain Man

‘I . . . umm . . . I . . . actually . . . have for a long time . . .’

Lady Hermes

‘Hold on. Can I please finish that sentence first?’

Plain Man

‘Y . . . yes.’

(here, Lady Hermes leans towards Train Man)

Lady Hermes

‘Ever since you came to our rescue on the train, I’ve liked you, Mr Train . . . and even though I am older . . . . I’ll do my best to keep up . . . so please, will you be my boyfriend?’

(Train pulls Hermes in close)

Stain Man

‘If you’re happy with a silly thing like me, then I’d ask you myself, to be my girlfriend.

Lady Hermes

‘(giggles) I’m so glad . . . and looking forward to us being together.’

They kiss.

The sparkling lights of the city embraced the couple from afar.

As if it were orchestrating a grand send-off . . .

How many times has Train morphed?

Is it Train or Grain or Stain

But more importantly, we need to clarify the situation

Anyway, have we decided on Maim Man’s plan of attack?

I bet while we’re calling Train’s love interest ‘Hermes’, Hermes and her friends are calling Train Ikkun, like the children’s book character.

Friend

‘Ikkun seemed so sweet and nice . . . ’

H

‘Really? Did you really think so?

F

‘It’s pretty obvious that he’s into you.’

H

‘You think so . . . (blushing)’

F

‘You’re e-mailing every night aren’t you? Sounds good to me. Why don’t you do the boyfriend-girlfriend thing’

H

‘But, but I could have got it wrong . . . Ikkun is kind to everybody . . . ’

F

‘There is absolutely no way that could be it . . .’

And much more . . .

And here exists an ecstatically happy me, glad to see you budding and leaving the lair and another, really sad and lonely ME . . . you get me . . .

sorry, catching up

I was talking to a friend on the phone

And just as I worked myself up to tell her how I felt about her

she sensed something in the air and told me that she ‘wasn’t interested’.

There was a girl at work who I fancied so one day I got up the nerve to talk to her. ‘I’d like to talk to you,’ I said, after which she looked at me like I was a worm and walked off.

I fell for this girl, a friend of a friend who came out to a bar with a bunch of us, I kept it simple and just asked her if she’d like to go out with me.

She replied ‘I’m not sure about the going out bit but why don’t we start out as friends.’ 2 weeks later she told me ‘I don’t think it’s going to work out.’

Then there was this girl at college, we were in the same club, she was younger and seemed to look up to me so one day when we were alone, I asked her to go out with me. She refused saying that she ‘couldn’t see me as a man.’

And that’s the way the cookie crumbles . . . (´A`)
