We got to her station. I said
‘I’ll e-mail you again. Good night’ as I prepared to part ways, but she softly reached for my hand and pulled me towards the door. I was feeling kind of ‘wha—?’ but I let myself be pulled.
In the end, both of us got off the train.
She said kind of apologetically ‘I’ve changed my mind . . . will you walk me home?’
She was pleeeeeeading-----ah yeaaaaah-----
That expression on her face could have lasted through at least three drinks for me.
‘Sure. No problem,’ I answered, loud and clear.
After the ticket gate, we held hands, both at the same time . . .
After about 5 minutes we hit a residential area where there were hardly any people out. Because there seemed to be lots of dark areas and I sensed a bit of danger, I said
‘I’ll walk you home from now on’ to which she just nodded.

I think we walked for about ten minutes. We got to the front of her house, which was a really nice one . . .
‘Here it is. And thank you for walking me all the way,’ she said and bowed deeply.
‘No problem at all,’ I said, bowing back.
‘Will you e-mail me when you get home?’
‘Um, yes. And tomorrow too.’
‘Let’s talk over the phone some time.’
‘Sounds good . . . ’
We talked about random stuff in front of the house.
‘Oh, you might miss the last train,’ she said, always the thoughtful one.
‘Right, I should get going,’ I said and pulled away from her. My hands were the last to pull away. I walked for a while and turned around and saw her waving.
