The paddle came down on her ass once, and then twice. She screamed into her gag. Tears of anger and pain rolled down her cheeks, but he kept spanking her. Luna thought she couldn’t take anymore, when it stopped. She surrendered to the anguish and focused her powers that he had released when she entered his apartment. The picture of the private beach  her mother and she always visited filled her mind when stressed, It was their own private hideaway.

“Aeolus what, where…” Was the last thing she heard before she disappeared from the room.

Chapter Four

Luna gazed at the beach and ocean. Her powers flowed freely around the room. Slowly, she clothed herself in a summer dress with nothing on underneath. The California sand called for her, but before she could do that she would have her mother’s things in her hands. Calling for her mother’s spell box, she repeated the words her Mom had taught her long ago. The box appeared on the bed before her, burn marks on it, but intact. The box with her mother’s few things were safe. She walked to the window and gazed at the far away horizon.

How could he do this to me?
she whispered, furious and hurt. Tears flowed down her face. The door opened and her feet shuffled in the warm sand. The warm gentle air caressed her and welcomed her back.

It was early morning, a jogger in the distance was the only other human around. Soaking up the peace and quietly Luna carefully sat down on the warm sand, her ass burning. She stared out at the ocean. It looked so big and peaceful and it reminded her of what her mother always told her.
The world and beyond can swallow a person if he or she lets it. Never forget where you come from daughter and always cherish the special times in your life.

The smell of roses mixed with the ocean air reached her and comforted her. Looking to the right, she saw a beautiful female walking toward her. She smiled. The woman wore a blue gown that swirled around her feet. Her bare feet left no impressions in the sand.

“Hello Luna. I’m Cyane, mother of the five men you met earlier. May I sit and enjoy this time with you?” Cyane smiled and inclined her head to the spot beside Luna. “I think we have a lot to talk about. Don’t worry, Aeolus doesn’t know you are here, yet. His father is still trying to figure out how to turn him back into a man again.” Cyane laughed.

“You should see your mate. For a toad, he screamed his anger in that croaking sound they make. His brothers are rolling on the floor laughing right now. There will be hell to pay when he is turned back.”

Luna just watched her in awe. A goddess stood before her. Her beauty outshone the sunrise that was taking place over the ocean, and her voice so peaceful.

“Please sit, I don’t think there is much to say. If Aeolus thinks he can spank me, like he did, he has another thing coming. I won’t stand for it.” Luna laughed at the image Cyane painted. “And if he thinks he’s going to do it again, maybe I’ll turn one of his brothers into a snake, while he’s a toad and have him eat him.” Luna looked back out at the ocean, smiling.

Cyane sat down next to her. “I am afraid it’s a family thing, the spanking, and I wouldn’t advise doing that. I’m afraid you would never hear the end of it.” Laughing, Cyane took Luna’s hand in hers. “You know his father still does it to me and the same with my mother-in-law. These men are very primitive when it comes to their women being in danger.” She shook her head.

“I am afraid I’ll also get a paddling for being here. I am not supposed to travel alone, of all the nerve. Can you believe that? I am a goddess for goodness sake, and they treat me like a child. Sometimes they are pains in the ass, but I must tell you, when they love, they love completely. My son will fulfill your wildest dreams and you’ll want for nothing. Just trust him and let him in,” Cyane replied.

“It seems like I have been alone for so long, always on the run. I loved the place that burned down. People around town know me, trust me.” Luna sighed and glanced at Cyane. “Aeolus should be with one of your kind. He doesn’t need me. I am just a simple witch, who wants to live a quiet life. Maybe one day have children, if it’s safe. I don’t know how to be a mate to your son. Where would we live? There are so many questions.” Luna tried to shift her weight, so her butt wouldn’t sting so much, but it didn’t work out so hot.

“Ouch, shit that stings!” Luna grumbled and rubbed her butt.

Cyane laughed. “Oh, I know dear. Believe me, I know. But you can think of it this way, right now Aeolus is hurting as much as you are. He hates to see you hurt. When that piece of glass was in your leg, I thought for sure he would explode. The anger from him reached us such force. We didn’t know he had so much power built in him.” Cyane looked out at the ocean. “His father couldn’t believe it. We were all shocked that he has held back so long without letting us know.”

She glanced up at the sky, “They’re coming. I can feel them moving towards us. I am afraid my husband is with him. This isn’t going to be pleasant, but don’t worry, I can handle the men.” Cyane stood and helped Luna up. They turned, and Aeolus and his brothers, and another man stood there waiting.

“That’s my mate, Aeolus Sr... Isn’t he a dream? I still get all wet just looking at him, especially when he’s pissed.” Cyane laughed.

Luna grinned, shocked by her words. The men surround them. Some of them wore tight fitting jeans, while some wore shorts. Luna took her time looking at each of them. All of the men could be cover models for any romance novel if they wanted.

“I know. Aren’t they all to drool over? Sometimes I wonder how they came out of me?” Cyane nudged her.

“What are you talking about? You’re gorgeous. You could work as a model on the runway! It’s no wonder they all turned out so handsome.” At that last statement Luna heard Aeolus Jr.

“You don’t need to be looking at my brothers.”

Chapter Five

Luna glowered at Aeolus while he circled her. She felt the heat of his anger and the lust that radiated off him.

“Aeolus, I won’t be treated like a child!” Luna challenged as he stepped up to her.

“Not a word. It’s late, or early, you haven’t slept and neither have I. Come, we’ll discuss everything after you sleep. ” He grabbed her hand and started to walk. He pulled her with him.

Luna dug in her heels and stopped his movements. “I mean it, Aeolus. You can’t just think you can come into my life and treat me like this!”

Aeolus gradually turned to face her, his eyes red. The fire of his feral glare scorched her to her toes.

“I will not, I repeat, I will not have this discussion here. We will go home and sleep.”

Cyane waved at her, smiling, as her husband pulled on Cyane’s arm and winked at Luna. When she turned around, Aeolus had transported them back to his apartment and into his bedroom. With a wave of his hand, her clothes disappeared, and she stood naked before him.

“If you think for one minute you’re going to touch me with that paddle, think again!” She shook with an inner fury. She mumbled a few words and pajamas covered her body. There was no way she would allow him to spank her.

“What are those for? You don’t need those.” Aeolus glared at her.

“I always wear them, plus you won’t be touching me tonight.” She crawled into the bed careful of her butt, but as soon as she pulled the covers over her body, the clothes disappeared.

“Damn it, Aeolus stop it.” She glared.

“You’ll never wear them with me again.” He climbed into the bed and tried to pull her to him. He bumped his legs against her ass.

“Son of a bitch! You do know I have a sore ass right? Are you doing this on purpose or what?” She yelled and scooted away from him.

“I’m sorry. I need to hold you Luna.”

Aeolus tried to pick her up, but Luna held her ground. “Relax, little black minx. I’m not going to spank you”

Luna studied him for a moment and relaxed a little. Gently, he picked her up and laid her next to him on the bed. Luna watched his clothes disappear. His hands roamed her tense body.

Luna closed her eyes. His hands made it impossible to relax.

“I just want to hold and touch you.” Aeolus wrapped his hand around a hand full of her braided hair and pulled her head back. He stared into her eyes. One thick index finger traced her mouth before he lowered his mouth to hers. His tongue stroked her lips and slipped inside.

Aeolus devoured her mouth, touching every spot in her mouth as if he were savoring her taste.

Smiling inside, Luna bit down on his tongue and held it. She would show him.

Aeolus laughed and knew he had found the perfect mate, one to give him all the fight he needed. She pulled back and released him. Their battle of wills had excited both of them. He gazed down into her face and could see the look of triumph.

“You are so beautiful when your anger spikes. In all my life, I have never known more fear than when you were in that cavern. Never do that again. If anything happened to you, I don’t know what I would do.” His arms squeezed her tighter. “Sleep now, we’ll talk later.”

Aeolus glanced down at her body. It was perfect in every way. He could feel the slight swell of her round butt cheeks against his legs. Just the thought of her ass, made him want to flip her onto her stomach, and sink his cock into it.
Pity the poor man who decides to lay a hand on you my beauty, because there will be no controlling the beast, I’m afraid.

Closing his eyes, she snuggled up close to him and inhaled his scent. Her plump pink lips kissed his forearm, and for the first time that night, he could feel her relax, even if in just a few hours, he would take her.

Chapter Six

Luna woke to the sound of men talking. She rolled over onto her back. Luna forgot about her sore backside and screamed.

“God damn it!” She jumped out of bed, completely nude, in front of Aeolus and his brothers. They all turned, staring at her.

The men assembled began to laugh.

Fuming, she snapped her fingers and sent the men flying out the balcony, onto the ground below. She dressed herself and grumbled, “I am not a morning person, so watch out. Laugh at me and see what happens.” She stomped down the stairs into the kitchen in search of a coffee pot, but found nothing.

“I need coffee.” Luna slammed the kitchen cupboard open. She slipped on a pair of sandals that lay on a mat in the hallway. She stumbled to the front door. Someone grabbed her from behind and brought her up against a hard body and rubbed her ass.

“Let me go!” She kicked his shin. “I mean it, Aeolus!” Luna demanded. “I need coffee and you’re hurting me. I am just going to the coffee shop down the street, that’s all.” Luna turned to glare at him, but took a step back. Aeolus was furious.

“There are people out there that want you dead. You can’t just go walking around. I won’t allow it! If you must go somewhere, I will go with you, or one of my brothers, do you understand?” His body shook and his face turned red.

“I am not without my own powers. How dare you tell me I can’t go anywhere.” She stepped into his personal space, as her anger rose. “You’re not my mother, so I suggest you stop  ordering me around, buster. They won’t try anything in the middle of the day. Plus, the full moon is over. They can’t do anything to me until the next full moon.”

Luna tried to dislodge his hands from her arms. “Now, let me go. If you or one of your brothers wants to come with me, then come, but get out of my way.” She kicked him in the leg as he let her go. “I don’t do well without my morning java, so you better get used to it if you’re sticking around.” She stumped out of the house.

The coffee shop was only a few doors down. She felt the five brothers follow her, but she ignored them. Pushing open the door to the shop, Luna closed her eyes, and inhaled the beautiful scent of fresh coffee beans. Laughter sounded from behind her and she turned towards them. They all stepped back, but Aeolus just stood there, and smiled down at her.

“I can see we need to make sure you have your brew in the morning.” She turned to the counter and ignored him.

Mrs. Young greeted her, “Oh you poor thing.” The older woman came around the counter to hug her.

“We were so worried about you last night, with your place going up in flames.” She looked deeply into her eyes.

“I hope those evil ones get what’s coming to them, my dear. Now, do you want the usual or do you need a larger dose of caffeine?”

“Oh, an extra dose of caffeine, please! I didn’t get much sleep last night. Thank you Mrs. Young. I want to rebuild, if I can. I love living here. You and everyone have been so kind to me.” Luna stated and heard Aeolus behind her, clearing his throat.

She rolled her eyes, “Mrs. Young, I would like you to meet...” Luna stumbled, she couldn’t say mate, and he hadn’t asked her to marry him, so she didn’t know what to say, but he covered that. He lied for her.

“I am her fiancé.” He stuck out his hand to the older woman. “Even though I haven’t asked her properly, with everything going on around her, I’ll rectify that tonight. You can count on that. I will also make sure she has her new shop close by soon. When we find the right place, that will also be our home.” Aeolus stated, kissing Mrs. Young’s hand. She blushed looking younger.

“Oh my, you have a handsome one here Luna.” Mrs. Young gently took her hand away from Aeolus.

“You deserve to find happiness, Luna.” Mrs. Young turned toward Aeolus. “But, I tell you what, you better take care of her. We all love her so much. She has helped us so much, we can’t lose her.”

“You can be sure that I will take care of her.” Aeolus bowed gently at the waist.

“See that you do.” Mrs. Young mumbled. She took their orders.

Forgetting about her sore posterior, Luna went to sit down, but Aeolus remembered and cushioned her seat, before she sat down. Looking up, she smiled and whispered, “Thank you!”

Sipping the hot coffee, Luna watched Aeolus’ muscles ripple in his jeans. His biceps were thick and snug in his T-shirt, to think those arms had held her all night long. Luna snapped out of it when Mrs. Young brought another cup to her and snapped her fingers in front of her face.

“Boy, do you have it bad. Look at the twinkle in your eyes,” Mrs. Young teased.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I just need coffee, that’s all.”

“Right dear, just keep telling yourself that.” She laughed and walked away, as the men settled in around her at the table. Aeolus laughed at her, when she grabbed the second cup of coffee, like it was her lifeline.

Mrs. Young looked back over at Aeolus. “She can’t live without at least three cups of coffee in the morning. I have never seen her without it. Remember, what I said. We’ll hunt you down if you hurt her,” she mumbled and waved her finger at him.

Luna smiled into her coffee. Feeling more like herself now that a cup and a half of coffee was in her system, Luna glanced at Aeolus out of the corner of her eye, as he talked to his brothers.

The doorbell chimed announcing the arrival of other patrons. Luna looked up and was stunned. The man had his back to her, but she could spot him anywhere. He wore his long red leather vest, his black hair swung down his back, and a tattoo of the devil could be seen on his arm, as he leaned against the counter. The leader of the Black Moon followers had just walked into the coffee shop and stood at the counter to order his coffee. He hadn’t noticed her yet. She felt Aeolus gaze on her.

“Do you know him?” Aeolus asked. “He’s surrounded by black magic?” He waited for her to answer.

She didn’t know what to say, until it was taken out of her hands.

The leader turned and saw her there. His words hissed out of his mouth and the sting of his attack flickered off her skin, but she was ready.

Luna jumped up and knocked her coffee all over the table. She sent her magic towards him, but was shoved back by Aeolus. The wind blew back his spell and attacked him.

He looked at Aeolus who stood in front of her.

“You dare attack what’s mine?” His voice was a weapon upon itself, as he moved forward. His brothers rose and surrounded the table. Mrs. Young came and stood next to Luna and hugged her.

“Are you okay? He knows not to come in here! We forbid it. How could he come in here? You protected this place last year? I swear Henry is going to blow a fuse when he finds out.” Mrs. Young rambled on, shaking. Boreas and Eurus moved in closer to protect them.

A loud snap rang through the air and everything went quiet. Looking around the coffee shop, she noticed that no one else was in the store. Boreas and the others returned to their seats, as if nothing was out of place, and the leader gone. She looked up at Aeolus who was still livid, but he controlled it as he took in Mrs. Young’s appearance.

“Mrs. Young, why don’t you sit down? I am afraid I have some explaining to do.” He glanced at her and glared at Luna. “And you were saying something about how they wouldn’t attack you again until the next full moon?” He lifted his eyebrow staring down at her.

“Well they usually don’t! Maybe since your last attack they have changed their plans?” She sat down and glared back at him.
I swear if he wasn’t I a god, I turn the gloating man into a toad and have toad soup tonight.

Try it. I wouldn’t mind seeing you tied to my bed for the next week, with my marks covering your body.
His gaze drifted down her body and heated, but he turned his attention to Mrs. Young.

Sitting back, Luna watched Aeolus tell Mrs. Young who he was. Mrs. Young stared at him like he was crazy. A gust of wind whipped through the coffee shop and lifted tables up and set them back down.
Show off!

Aeolus’ gaze turned back to Luna, his smile held mischief, as a cold brush of wind blew down her shirt. Her nipples hardened for his view.

Luna smiled back and waved her hand. His coffee landed in his lap and soaked him. He jumped up and looked down at his pants. A big stain covered the front, which made it look like he had wet his pants. His brothers laughed along with Mrs. Young.

“Children, let’s play nice now.” She laughed and got up, she patted Aeolus’ shoulder.

“I’m not erasing your memory because Luna’s your friend.” Aeolus snapped his fingers and black jeans covered his lower body. “She needs someone to talk to and help her through the hard times.” He sat down beside her. “We’ll live half of the time in my world and the rest here. This way she won’t miss her friends. The adjustment will be difficult, but I think she’ll settle in. I’m not about to let her experience any more loss.”

Luna listened, as all sorts of emotions ran through her. Aeolus was making a place in her heart and she was afraid he would break it. A few tears rolled down her cheek. No one, except her mother, had done so much for her.

“I was right. You’re going to be perfect for her. But I’m afraid you’ll have your hands full. I must warn you, she is set in her ways. She always helps others, not caring if it brings her harm.” Mrs. Young stared at Luna with a smile on her face.

“I do not! I know my limits,” Luna stated, staring up at her friend.

“Oh, what about Teresa? When that man came after her and her baby, or that mugger who was going to steal Mrs. Tumble’s purse? I can go on.” Mrs. Young laughed at her and Luna blushed.

“They needed the extra help. Mrs. Tumble couldn’t survive without her money. She just got… you know how tight things are for her, and I wasn’t going to let that man hurt the new baby. You would have done the same thing,” Luna defended herself.

“Yes, I would have helped, but not to the point where I was totally exhausted for a week.” Mrs. Young challenged back. Luna ducked her head when she heard Aeolus and his brother’s laugh.

“Don’t worry. I won’t let her strain herself. I will personally turn her over my knee and spank that cute little butt.” Luna gasped and looked at Aeolus. He was laughing at her again.

“I will tell you this, you jerk. If you think I am going to stop helping my friends, because I get a little tired, you have another thing coming.” Luna glared at Aeolus. “I will always help them, and you, or anyone else will not stop me!” Luna yelled and got up and stomped out of the store. She grabbed a big bag of coffee on her way.

“Charge the asshole sitting there for the coffee. I am going shopping, since I don’t have any clothes, or a coffee pot, damn it!” Luna stormed down the street to Tchoupitoulas St. where the Super Wal-Mart a few blocks away. Plus, she knew the fresh air would do her good.
