With that, he leaned down and captured my mouth with his own. I could feel his hard penis pressing against my stomach, and I moaned as I held on to his arms.

Unfortunately, the kiss ended too soon. “You make it way too easy to forget that we have plans today that involve clothes and other people.”

I giggled, pleased that I could make him feel that way.

He laughed and shook his head. “Let’s go, pet, before I get us both into trouble with my aunt.”

Nearly two hours later, we arrived at Dr. Cooper and Diane’s house. As we walked up to the door, it had a large wreath covering almost half of it. Even though it was much bigger, it reminded me of the one my mom used to hang on our door at Christmas time. I wondered what had happened to it. Not only the wreath, but to all her things.

No one greeted us at the door this time. Instead, Stephan opened it and ushered me into the kitchen where both Diane and Dr. Cooper were dressed in matching aprons. I’d seen Dr. Cooper in the kitchen before, but the apron made him look corny.

“Ah. There you are. We were beginning to think you weren’t coming.” Dr. Cooper handed each of us a basket. “Take those to the table, will you? Everything should be ready in a few minutes.”

Diane smiled at me. “Merry Christmas.”

I smiled back shyly. “Merry Christmas.”

Stephan laid his hand lightly against the small of my back and guided me into the dining room. He took my basket from me and laid it on the table next to his before helping me into my chair. Once we were both seated, he laced our fingers together and brought the back of my hand up to his lips. He didn’t speak, but everything he needed to say was right there in his eyes. Stephan loved me, and he was glad I was here with him. I was glad, too. Christmas wouldn’t have been the same this year without him.

Breakfast was casual, even though we were eating in the formal dining room. Everything that had been prepared could be eaten with your hands, like biscuits, fruit, and even little quiches. There was no real order to things as everyone dug in and nibbled as the conversation flowed. I was starting to relax more and more around Diane—and even Dr. Cooper, now that he wasn’t always giving Stephan the evil eye. It was nice.

After breakfast, we all moved into the family room where the large Christmas tree was decorated. Beneath it were several presents, and it hit me that I hadn’t gotten Diane or Dr. Cooper anything. I’d been so focused on Stephan that it hadn’t even crossed my mind.

Stephan must have noticed what I was looking at because he hugged me from behind, and whispered in my ear. “If you’re wondering about gifts, don’t be.”

“But I didn’t—”

He turned me around and placed a brief kiss to my lips. “Don’t worry. What I got them is more than enough for both of us.”

I tried to do what he said as we sat down on the couch together. Diane and Dr. Cooper sat together on the loveseat. It was cozy, which wasn’t what I expected. We sat there for almost an hour as everyone talked about the weather and reminisced about Christmases past. Stephan even talked a little about his mom and dad, which was nice. I mostly remained quiet and listened while I snuggled into Stephan’s side.

Eventually Diane stood and announced that it was time for presents. She ambled over to the tree and began passing out gifts. I was surprised when she handed me two.

Stephan didn’t seem surprised, and he kissed my temple before accepting the gifts Diane handed him. I knew right away which one of them was from me. It was bigger than the other two. When he took it from her and felt the weight, I could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to figure out what it was. I turned my head away to hide my smile, giddy that I’d been able to pull off all my surprises without him finding out ahead of time.

Diane and Dr. Cooper opened their gifts first. Stephan—we—got Dr. Cooper a very nice set of hand-turned pens for work. They were made out of some sort of exotic wood and were very pretty. Each one was engraved with his initials.

Diane’s gift was a vase that was painted with blue and yellow flowers. It was beautiful. “Thank you both. I love it. I know just the place for it.”

Next I was informed it was my turn. I picked up the first package and read the card. It was from Diane and Dr. Cooper. The box contained an envelope, and there was a gift card inside to the boutique Diane and I had gone to the day after Thanksgiving, along with a note.

I may be Stephan’s aunt, but I’m not a prude. I saw you looking at the lingerie, and I know you were too shy to buy it that day for yourself. As tempted as I was to go ahead and buy you something, I didn’t want to embarrass you, so I figured this was the next best option. If you want me to go with you to pick something out, I’d be more than happy to, but I know this—every woman deserves to dress and feel beautiful for her man.

My cheeks heated as I read the note. Stephan leaned over and read it, too, when he noticed my reaction. He chuckled and kissed my cheek. “Looks like we need to go shopping.”

I looked up at him, my eyes wide.

That only made him smile more.

“You have another gift to open.” He tilted his head to indicate the remaining present still in my lap.

Picking it up, I eyed it warily before opening it. I didn’t bother looking at the tag, although in hindsight, I probably should have. This present wasn’t from Diane and Dr. Cooper. Inside the box was a beautiful set of earrings. They were silver with blue jewels.

“They’re sapphires. To match your eyes.”

I met his gaze with tears in my eyes. The earrings were beautiful . . . and perfect.

He laid his palm flat against my cheek and brushed his lips against mine. “I love you, sweetheart. Merry Christmas.”

When I finally had myself under control again, I looked over to find both Diane and Dr. Cooper smiling at us. I smiled back but looked down, feeling overwhelmed and embarrassed by our display.

“Your turn, Stephan,” Dr. Cooper announced.

The first two gifts he opened were from Dr. Cooper and Diane. Both held envelopes similar to mine, and his also held gift cards—one for a local bookstore and another for a store that was known for their vast movie selection. He saved my present for last.

Stephan picked up the weighted box and set it firmly on his lap before he examined the card. When he saw my name, he looked over at me, surprised. “This is from you?”

I nodded.

He smiled, wrapped his hand around the back of my neck, and brought our lips together. “Thank you.”

“You don’t know what it is yet.”

“Doesn’t matter. It’s from you, so I know I’ll love it.”

I didn’t understand his reasoning, but he was happy, so I was happy.

Stephan turned back to the package and began removing the decorative paper. Diane had put it in an unmarked box, so until he opened the cardboard, he had no idea what was inside. He lifted the miniature fountain out of the box and set it on his lap. “I got it for your office. It reminded me of—”

“My rock.” He finished my sentence for me, and I was thrilled he saw the resemblance like I did.

I pointed to the new addition to the fountain that hadn’t been there when I’d bought it. “This rock didn’t come with the fountain. It’s from down by the creek. I wanted you to have a piece of your special place with you at work.”

Before I knew what was happening, Stephan had lifted the fountain off his lap, placed it on the floor, and had me pinned to the couch with both his body and his mouth. I kissed him back with equal fervor, completely forgetting we weren’t alone until I heard coughing.

Even then, Stephan didn’t stop kissing me right away.

“Um. Stephan? I think your aunt and I are going to go refill our coffee in the kitchen and give you two a moment.”

Stephan pulled back enough to separate our lips but nothing else. His body remained plastered against mine, holding me firmly to the couch. I couldn’t move if I’d wanted to. He was breathing hard, and so was I. “How did I ever get so lucky to find you, Brianna?”

“You like your present?”

“It’s perfect. And once we get home, I plan on showing you just how much I love it.”

Chapter 40

Brianna

We didn’t stay long after Stephan opened his present from me. Diane
asked us to stay for a late lunch, but Stephan insisted he wanted to get home before it started getting dark. I didn’t mind the cold so much during the winter. It was the daylight—or lack thereof. By the time we left his aunt and uncle’s house, it was close to two o’clock. During the summer months we would have had plenty of daylight left. In December, it meant we had two and a half hours. Maybe. It was only an hour drive, but if we’d stayed for lunch, it would have been cutting it close.

Thirty minutes into our drive home, Stephan reached over and tapped two fingers along my inner thigh. “Spread your legs.”

I’d worn a nice dress for our visit, so when I spread my legs, the only thing between me and his hand was the thin pair of silk panties I wore. Even though he had the heater on in the car, the air that rushed up under my dress was cooler than I’d anticipated.

Stephan kept his eyes on the road, but the hand he had on my thigh edged upward, pushing my dress up until it was around my waist. My entire lower half was exposed. Maybe some part of me should have been afraid someone might look inside the car and see me, but for some reason I wasn’t. The only thing going through my mind was
what is he going to do next?

He didn’t leave me waiting for long. “Give me your hand.”

I complied.

Wrapping his long fingers around my wrist, he lifted my hand up to his lips and put two of my fingers into his mouth. He began sucking and running his tongue in between and around them. For some reason, it reminded me of having his penis in my mouth, sucking and licking. Between the memory and the sensation, I felt heat and moisture rush between my now parted legs.

A few minutes later, he pulled my fingers out of his mouth and guided them back toward my lap. He didn’t release them, however. Instead, he nudged my panties aside, exposing me even more to the cooler air. Placing my now damp fingers directly over my sex, he began rubbing in a circular motion, making me feel even hotter there than I had before.

Without warning, he stopped the circular movements and positioned my two fingers directly outside my entrance. He released his hold on my wrist and brought his hand to rest back on the steering wheel. “Push your fingers inside, Brianna.”

What? I wasn’t sure I understood him.

“Put your fingers inside yourself, Brianna. Now. I want you to finger yourself for the rest of the drive home. You aren’t to make yourself come, do you understand?”

“Yes. I-I think so.”

He glanced over at me and smiled. It was that wicked smile of his, and for some reason, it made the space between my legs feel even hotter. I didn’t understand it at all.

Stephan had turned his attention back to the road, but he seemed to know I hadn’t moved. “I’m waiting, Brianna.”

Taking a deep breath, I pressed the two fingers he’d sucked into my moist heat. I hadn’t touched myself like this since that night we’d had sex for the first time. It felt strange, just as it had that night, but I did what he said and started moving my fingers in and out. I’d seen girls do this before to themselves, and of course, I’d had it done to me, but doing it to myself was different.

At first, it felt strange, but then it began to change. The spongy texture was no longer my main focus. I was too caught up in how good it felt.

We stopped at a traffic light, and Stephan reached over, placing his hand over mine. He slipped one finger down into my opening in sync with my two fingers. After a few times, he removed it and brought it up to my mouth. “Open.”

I was too far gone at that point and did what I was told. He inserted his finger between my lips and coated my tongue with the wetness he’d picked up between my legs. Tasting myself was always weirdly mesmerizing. There was no other flavor I could compare it to, yet something about having it on my tongue and knowing where it had come from made my arousal increase.

His finger slipped out of my mouth and down my chin before disappearing altogether. I looked over at Stephan. He was concentrating on the road. We were moving again. I hadn’t even noticed.

Every now and then, he’d glance over, making sure I was still following his instructions. He’d smirk and then turn back to the road. By the time he pulled into the parking garage, there was a wet spot on my panties, and most of my hand was soaked. I’d been fingering myself for almost a half hour.

Once he’d parked the car, he removed his seat belt and then leaned over the center console—using one hand to position my head the way he wanted it—and kissed me, thrusting his tongue deep into my mouth. “Do you have any idea how hot it was watching you, Brianna?”

He didn’t give me time to answer. Instead he took hold of my wrist and removed my fingers from where they’d still been moving inside me. He brought my hand up to where our mouths hovered a breath away from each other and started devouring my fingers.

The sight . . . the feel . . . neither was helping relieve the ache between my legs.

Stephan kissed me again, this time bringing my hand with him. It was almost like having a third participant as he mingled my fingers in with our tongues.
