She wanted to stay in this position forever. Having her body enveloped in a hard body glove with their combined warmth seeping into every pore. Chase was nuzzling her neck and Donavan stroking her sides. She neither felt crushed nor suffocated at their continued embrace. She felt safe. Never before had a sense of peace so overwhelmed her. She was where she belonged, and if the boys wanted to keep her, she would stay.

It was sort of wrenching when Chase disengaged his cock from her. The loss left an empty void. She was gently rolled until Donavan was settled, still fully embedded in her pussy, on top of her. Her sigh of remorse turned to a gasp of surprise as he began slowly to glide in and out with a steadily increasing rhythm that had her body quickening again. The surprised look on her face must have been comical because she could feel his chuckles vibrate against her belly. He swooped down and caught her next moan in a kiss that had her toes curling. After everything that they had just done, it was amazing to her that he, let alone she, had enough energy and stamina to be brought so fast to another staggering peak.

She let the ecstasy come, welcomed it, as he aggressively started to pound into her, filling the room again with heavy sounds of flesh slapping flesh. Music to any lover’s ears in the steady knowledge that the man you are with is showing you his passion, his lust, and his dominance.

She wrapped her legs tightly around his waist as the rapture went over the top, to spill down, washing over her once again. She became a wild thing in his arms as already-sensitive tissues flared back to life, creating an entity of their own. A demanding mouth that sucked all the air out of her lungs only to replace it by his, muffled her screams. The erotic act had her clutching him frantically as he delivered the very air she breathed. He had her life in his hands. She gave one massive convulsion as her orgasm swept her up and splintered her into shards of rapture.

Never had a lover displayed such rapture for her, and she had never reciprocated anything near what this was.

“Are you okay, Kitten?” Donavan whispered into her mouth.

“Oh, my, that was amazing. I don’t think I can move." She whimpered when he started to pull out of her. "Oh, please don’t, Donavan. I feel if you move I will fall apart again.” He stopped at her words and settled back down, tucked into her pussy. She traveled her legs up and down his back, glorying in the strength and size of him.

She could see Chase smiling, lying naked right beside them. His growing cock gave testament that he enjoyed what he saw. She knew by the look in his eyes that she was far from done this night. She just hoped her energy could last for what was in store.

Chapter 8

The rich morning smells filtered into the bedroom through the open window along with the descant of various birds vying to attract a mate. Liana stretched all her muscles, groaning as the overused areas protested. Her ass ached in a good way, testifying to the vigorous activities of the previous night. She came to her knees and arched her back with her ass in the air, popping the joints along her vertebrae to relieve the built-up pressure.

“Now that is a fucking beautiful sight,” Chase said from the bathroom doorway.

She looked at him over her shoulder and smiled. He was naked, leaning against the doorframe, and she couldn’t help thinking the same thing. What a beautiful sight. Every scrumptious inch of him she wanted to devour until she had consumed every part, including the full-on erection that came to attention for her. She was definitely turning into a nymphomaniac.

She turned to lean back on her elbows, pushing her breasts out, and smiled invitingly to him. When he just smiled and shook his head, she pouted. She actually pouted, she thought to herself. I am turning into a wanton.

“I am going for a run, Kitten. Would you like to join me?” Chase’s laughing expression had her giggling at her own disappointment. She felt so free just lounging around naked in front of the boys and trying to entice them to make love to her.

She hopped off the mattress and set her breasts jiggling as she went about getting dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. She smiled as she remembered that just a few days ago she wore this very same outfit when she first was seduced by them. She loved this outfit.

She turned to find herself pulled into his arm, and when she looked into his eyes, she could see he remembered that day also. Her heartfelt moan escalated as he brought her in closer to his naked body. He must have stood there the whole time watching her dress. She used hands to worship everywhere she could reach. His firm butt felt heavenly cupped in her palms as she squeezed it rhythmically.

“I’m ready for that run, Chase,” she said with a lick of her lips.

When they finally reached the road to start the run, the sun had just risen for the day. She kept giving him little side smiles that he ignored. They were late due to his inability to leave her alone, and the heavy bout of sex that he had to have had been his idea of warming up. She couldn’t contain the chuckle that came to the surface when she bent over to stretch her legs. She came up fast when a hand descended on her butt in a hard smack.

“Behave yourself,” Chase said in a mock growl.

The steady pace of the run relaxed her as it usually did. She felt all her muscles loosen and warm with each step she took. She could tell he held back for her and loved the comradery of the moment. She never did her runs with anyone, so this was a treat. She only wished Donavan could have come.

The impact of the truck hurt beyond anything she'd ever experienced, including being kicked by a horse. The only things that saved her life were the ditch that paralleled the road and Chase. The ditch’s safe sanctuary was there instead of the heavy treads of the tires that would have rolled over her if she hadn’t landed in the ditch on top of Chase.

She knew all this, but couldn’t properly speak it as every breath in her body refused to find its way back inside her lungs. She didn’t want to look at her leg because she felt for sure that she would faint again. Fainting in passion was one thing, but fainting at the sight of the blood she could feel trickling down her leg was just too girly. She never could understand how she could help her veterinarian sew up blood-seeping gashes and then the minute she saw her own blood she got woozy.
Strange girl
, she thought

Time seemed to stop as Chase lifted her gently into his arms. She felt like she was floating and tried to focus on what was happening.

“Kitten, try not to move too much. Donavan’s on his way, and we will get you to the hospital as soon as possible.” She could hear the cracking in his voice as he tried to reassure her.

She wanted to tell him she was fine, but the words froze on her tongue at the sight of his bloody face. Her small cry was the last she remembered uttering before unconsciousness.

She fluctuated between wakefulness and total oblivion. The ambulance sirens pulsated in her head, causing her considerable pain with no way to make them stop. Her leg throbbed brutally and fought with the pain in her skull.

She kept having nightmares of blood pouring out of her lover, and she could do nothing to stop it from gushing. Her attempts were always hindered by hands on her wrists holding her down. She struggled, thrashed, and cried out in despair at her inability.

“Oh, God, do something,” Chase cried as he tried to hold onto her flailing arms. You could hear the despair in his voice.

The ride from the ranch to the hospital rated at the top of his most hellish scenes in his life. He wouldn’t let the nurse take him away to treat his own superficial wound. That was unimportant. His entire focus was on Liana. Losing her was unacceptable.

He vaguely heard his brother and the doctor talking but couldn’t tell what they were discussing. He kept going over the accident and for the life of him couldn’t remember anything but being shoved and landing on his back with Liana on top of him. He couldn’t even remember how he'd received the cut on his face.

The sounds of the hospital flowed through him as he continued to hold her wrists. He registered that they had stopped thrashing and couldn’t hold back the cry of despair.

“She’s all right, Chase. The doctor gave her morphine. Chase. Chase, listen to me. Liana is okay. She’s just asleep,” Donavan repeated over and over.

Chase let the words sink into his soul, and relief flooded his heart. He looked up into his brother’s eyes and read the truth of the statement. He let him disengage his hands from hers and pull him gently away. When Donavan tried to take him out of the room, he wrenched himself out of his arms and just stood looking at Liana. He wouldn’t leave her side. He saw out of the corner of his eye Donavan’s nod of agreement and sighed in relief. He didn’t think he had it in him to fight his brother.

He let the nurse urge him to sit and stayed still as he had his face cleaned and sutured by the doctor. The process was over quickly. He stood on shaky legs and made his way over to the hospital bed, staring down at the woman who had come to mean more to him than breathing. He kept seeing the accident flash before him. He didn’t want to take his eyes off her, afraid she would disappear. He had come to love this woman beyond all thought. His heart actually ached with his feelings. The steady rise and fall of her chest transfixed his gaze, relieving his mind.

“Her leg is badly bruised, and the cut is going to have a lot of sutures. She has a slight concussion, but everything else seems to be okay. They are just waiting on the blood work. They said she can go home in a couple of days. Chase. Chase, did you hear me?” Donavan asked softly.

“Yeah, I heard.”

“Chase, the sheriff will be here in a few minutes. He has a partial license plate and a description of the truck that hit you two. The witness didn’t get a clear look at the driver because it happened so fast. Do you remember anything at all? What color the truck was? Anything?” Donavan started to pace as he fired the questions.

“Don, I didn’t see anything. The only thing I remember is hearing a squeal, turning and catching Liana against my chest. The next thing I remember is looking up and realizing what had happened. That’s when I rolled her over gently and used my cell to call you. God, Don, she has to be all right. We can’t lose her. We can’t.” Chase sat with his head pillowed next to her arm. He couldn’t stop shaking.

* * * *

Donavan went to him and clasped his shoulder. He looked down at the two most important people in the world to him and felt rage build inside his body. He would find the person who did this and kill them.

His expression must have given him away when the sheriff stepped through the door.

“Donavan, you are to let the law handle this. NO vigilante crap from you or your brother, do you hear me?” The sheriff walked over to the bed and looked down at Liana and Chase. He shook his head.

“Has she regained consciousness yet?” the sheriff asked.

Donavan gently squeezed Chase’s shoulder before turning to the sheriff.

“No, the doctor gave her some morphine. Jack, I want to know who did this. Did you get anything from the partial license plate and description? Why did they hit them? Was it an accident or done intentionally?” Donavan’s control was barely held in check. His rage needed an outlet, and the sheriff was all that stood between him and mayhem.

“Donavan, calm down. We are still processing the area and trying to follow the leads the eyewitness gave us. I know this is difficult, but I need to speak to both of them to see if they can shed any light on what happened.”

“Liana was given morphine and will be out for a while, and Chase can’t remember anything.” Donavan wearily sat down in a chair. His head dropped to his hands as his elbow rested on his knees. Everything was catching up to him. The frantic phone calls from Chase, the harrowing drive to the hospital, and then seeing his brother and Liana in obvious pain had him shaking.

The sheriff was silent as Donavan slowly got his emotions under control. The sounds of the hospital came in and out of focus as nurses and doctors opened and closed the doors. The astringent smell of the hospital battled with the aroma of urine and sickness.

“When Liana wakes up, please give me a call so I can get a statement from her. I’ll call the house as soon as we have any leads. In the meantime, don’t do anything you will regret. Take care of your brother and your friend, okay?” The sheriff made his way out of the room, barely missing the pregnant woman that flew in.
