on her flight to the States”

“Yes, that would be great if it’s not going to cramp your style” Sarah replied.

“Well, I’m going to need some help planning this wedding and you are my number one choice” I finished.

“It’s a deal, send me over the address and we’ll be with you around lunchtime on Saturday”

“Great, I’ll see you then as I have some more news to tell you about but best to do that in person and not over the phone”

I left Sarah feeling both excited and puzzled as James pulled the car into the driveway.

“I think I’d better give my parents a call and then Darren too” James said, opening the door.

“How about we set up Skype later and I’ll give my parents a call i

this evening to tell them the news” I replied. Once inside I headed through to the kitchen and put the kettle on. James headed for the lounge and I soon made out his side of the conversation as he told his parents and then Darren our news.

“Is it just me or is it quiet?” James asked.

“It’s quiet” I replied, but as if he knew Jester looked at the two of us and barked.

Sitting down at the kitchen table I found my handbag and pulled out the leaflet from the club.

“I’m going to need to talk to Charlie about this when she gets home” I said, pushing it across to James.

“This is the club that we’re having our launch party at and now I know why the owner thought he knew me” I continued. I watched the look of shock cross James’ features before he looked up at me.

“Do you think this club owner knows that Charlie is only seventeen and that he is breaking the law allowing her to dance?”

“I’m guessing not” I finished.

“Tricky, I bet you’d really like to say something to him but on the other hand you don’t want to ruin the sponsorship and advertising deal he’s just done with the radio station”

“You’ve hit the nail on the head” I sighed “Why can’t life be simple?”

“Because if it was we wouldn’t have so much fun” James said, dropping the leaflet and instead reaching for my hands.

“We’ll have to scope the club at your launch party then. I’m sure Chris will be up for some investigative work and perhaps a quiet chat with the owner”

“Zack is his name” I replied.

“I don’t know if Mitchell knows about this or not? The problem is that he’s so driven in his pursuit of running his own dance school that I’m sure Charlie has been caught up in his fever”

“And knowing her just wants to help and contribute” James nodded and sighed.

“Why do we have such ambitious children” he asked.

“Because we’ve bought them up to see that the only way to get on in life is with hard work” I said.

We spent the afternoon reading the files that Rob had managed to get from the Police about the whole murder. I was surprised to find that I could read the facts easily it was only when I shut my eyes and remembered the events of that night that the emotions started to swirl around within me. With the light fading I stood up

“What do you want for tea?”

“Let’s be extravagant and get a take away” James replied “Was it fish and chips that you mentioned last night” he laughed, breaking the sombre spell.

“Ok, let’s grab our coats and take Jester with us for the walk” I said, uttering the magic word that had Jester instantly on his paws.

In the early evening we wandered along when I heard my phone ring.

“Hi Mum, I’ve landed and I’ve found Mitch. The flight was great but the food was awful so once I’ve dumped my bag at the hotel where Mitch is staying we’re going to hit the town for a proper American burger and fries” she said, stopping for breath.

“That’s great Charlie, say Hi to Mitchell from both of us” I said “Oh and don’t forget to tell him the news”

“You’re on speaker Mum so Mitch can hear everything” Charlie laughed “Why don’t you tell him or is James with you”

Finding a bench in the park James and I sat down and I turned my phone to speaker.

“Hi Son” James said “We’ve got a bit of news for you”

“Spit it out Dad, what’s the news as Charlie here is beaming from ear to ear and practically jumping up and down on the spot” Mitchell said.

“I asked Stephanie to marry me last night and she has done me the honour in agreeing” James said, pulling me closer to him and planting a kiss on my nose.

“Oh congratulations Dad, Stephanie that’s fantastic news so when’s the big day”

“We are thinking about Valentine’s Day next year but we haven’t really made any plans yet, we’ve only been engaged for a day” I joked in reply.

Feeling the first drops of rain starting to fall from the sky I said

“We’ve got to go now as it’s raining here and we’re on our way to get fish and chips”

“That’s what I want to eat when I get home, the Americans are no good at mushy peas” Mitch replied “And I think Charlie wants to get going from the airport” he said.

“Bye Charlie, Mitchell” James and I chorused.

“Bye Mum and Dad” they both said and burst into peals of laughter that brightened our moment in the downpour.

“Worry over now” I said, pulling up my hood but realising it was useless as I was already wet.

“Come on” James said, jumping up from the bench “We’d better make a run for it”

I stood up and reached for James and wrapped my arms around him.

“I don’t care because I love you” I breathed. On tip toes my lips reached his in a kiss that I hoped would portray my immense happiness. His arms coiled around me and lifted me off the ground.

“I love you” James said.

“Till the end of time” I breathed

“Till the end of time” he affirmed

Then with Jester ahead of us we reached the warmth of the local takeaway.

Chapter 53

With Mitchell in charge of her suitcase Charlie refused to let go of his hand. He led her out of the airport and they hailed the first available cab.

“I can’t believe you’re here” Mitch said, nuzzling her neck and letting her scent overwhelm him.

“I know, it’s amazing and I’ve missed you so much” Charlie responded, moving so that his lips found hers again. Even though she had spent eight hours on a plane Charlie couldn’t help but soak up all the sights and sounds from the windows as they sped along. Once in the hotel room Mitchell pulled her tightly against him, she could feel all his muscles and sinews tense with longing. Her heart and body wanted to just sink onto the soft bed covers and feel his body wrapped around her, but she wanted to soak up the States.

Pulling away Charlie looked into his sparkling green eyes.

“Let’s eat first and then we can come straight back here”

“Come on then Lucky” Mitch replied his arms around her “I’ll show you around”

Their happiness infected everyone as even strangers said “Hi” and “Have a nice day” when they passed by on the sidewalk. In the diner they settled in a corner seat and the waitress appeared.

“Two vanilla milk shakes, two cheese burgers and fries” Mitch said, as he gazed at Charlie. She just nodded and smiled back, sitting back in her seat and letting her hand rest on his leg.

“It’s just like Grease” Charlie said, grinning at him.

“So long as you’r

and I’m Danny” Mitch laughed, his hand covered hers “I’ve got chills they’re multiplying” he sang, nicking the lines from the song.

Over food they discussed all the shows and different places that Mitchell had been. Then Charlie told him about college, Simon and Julia getting together on their night out in Dusk till Dawn. She saw him stiffen at the mention of the club so she quickly moved on to tell him about the hot tub at home.

“Now that I’m looking forward too, but while we’re here we’ve got the beach

Land, Universal Studios and anything else you want to go and see”

“Just you” she exhaled, squeezing his hand tightly. Mitchell needed no further encouragement to pay the tab and then leave.

Back in his room they stared at each other, feeling like it was the first time.

“I need a shower first” she said, peeling off her clothes and littering the floor. With the water cascading over their bodies Mitchell pushed her against the cold tiles and holding her face in his hands he reclaimed her completely. Feeling the water trickle down over her expectant nipples she brushed them against his smooth chest and heard the groan start deep within him. Charlie wanted to drop down and take him in her mouth but he pinned her there and impaled her. They both only lasted a couple of thrusts as he called out her name before his heat filled her.

Climbing out he wrapped her in a towel as the jet lag finally hi

“Oh Mitch, I love you” Charlie sighed, pulling him with her.

“I love you too” he said, curling up beside her so that her head rested on his chest. The smell of his spicy shower gel and her coconut shampoo soothed him as he remembered their first time in the hotel room i

London. Running his hands over her shoulders he looked down at his beautiful girlfriend. Her soft little snores filled the calm silence.

Waking in the night Charlie found his strong arms still wrapped around her as she gazed at his glorious form in the shards of moonlight that pierced the room. She ran her finger tip along his collar bone and then down to his chest, he stirred beneath her touch. Down the slight valley and line of hair from his belly button to the base of his cock. Touching it lightly she felt the power as it reared up and casting a glance at Mitchell’s face she realised he was awake too.

“I thought I was dreaming”

“I’m dreaming too then” she murmured, before she pulled out of his arms so that her lips could replace her hand.

Before he could explode he forced her off so that he could roll her underneath him. His mouth took each nipple in turn and sucked until she was writhing beneath him, totally at his mercy. He headed lower to lap her sweetness on his dry tongue. She was so sensitive to him that it only took a couple of well placed licks and nips to feel the beating of her orgasm. Sliding into her was a homecoming as she yielded to his body atop of her.
”Fuck, fuck….ffffuuuuccckkk” she screamed as the moment felled her. Grinding against her he joined in as they floated together, high on their love.

“Charlotte” he moaned.

“Mitchell” she cried, tears of joy splashed her cheeks and dribbled down the side of her face. His hand caught each of them as if they were precious jewels.

Bright, hot sunshine floated into the room and almost blinded her with the glare.

“It’s going to be a hot one today” Mitch said.

“So what are we going to do” she asked.

“Kiss me and I’ll tell you”

straddled him before their lips came together, tongues colliding in the six weeks of pent up passion they had endured. Coming up for air, Mitch glanced at the clock and knew he needed to get a move on.

“I’ve got rehearsal in an hour and I guess you might want some breakfast before I go”

He saw her face fall at the thought of them being apart.

“It’s only a couple of hours and then we’ve got the rest of the afternoon before the show tonight” Mitch said.

Reluctantly Charlie climbed off him and watched as he headed for the shower, then she did the same and they headed down to the restaurant for breakfast.

“Oh my god I can finally try maple syrup pancakes and bacon together”

“I’ll just stick to fruit, muesli and yogurt” Mitch said, knowing that it would only be for the next few days until the tour finished. Then he intended to eat anything and everything he wanted for the rest of their holiday. Mitchell just had time to show her where the rooftop swimming pool was before he left her in his room.

Grabbing her towel, bikini and kindle

locked the room and headed for the pool. She had her pick of the sun lounger’s and found a pair together at the far end. The view from the top was breathtaking and she stared for a while at the expanse of white sand and blue sea visible between the other hotels in the area. She had taken a spare towel with her and laid it on the other chair before she lay back on her own. With the Dirty Dancing soundtrack playing in her ears she tried to read but in the end she closed her eyes and thought about her very own Johnny.

After a swim to cool down she dropped both Julia and Shelley a text and then filled her Facebook page with images of the scenery that surrounded her. Finally a text came through from Mitch to say he was on his way back and did she want him to grab some lunch on the way. She agreed and he was soon with her, his brown skin highlighted her pale, freckled complexion even more.

They relaxed in the afternoon sunshine, swam, chatted and slathered sun cream onto their hot bodies.

“You can come with me later and watch from backstage, I’ve cleared it with the crew who will look after you. Then it’s the after show party so you can see how boring they really are” Mitch said.

“Wow, I can’t wait”

“Then on our way home we’ll grab some food”

Leaning over he rubbed his hand over the warm flat skin of her belly, inching down to rest at the top of her hip.

“I think I might need a lie down”

“We are lying down” Charlie retorted, playing with her words and enjoying the flirtation. His fingers lazily traced spirals on her hip and belly, tickling her nerves so that the pounding of her heart started to increase.

“Come on then” she purred “I’ll give you a nice massage and loosen you up before tonight”

“I was hoping you’d say that” Mitch replied. He watched her walk ahead of him, swinging her hips and glancing over her shoulder at him.

In the lift he wanted to grab her and make her his again, but he resisted as he could see she was feeling exactly the same. The tension built between them and when they reached their floor all they could do was run to the door and pile in together. The few clothes they wore marked the path to the bed as they fell onto it, a jumble of arms and legs. Tongues probed and explored, lips touched and kissed and suddenly they were joined together once more.

After a quick nap and shower together Charlie started to un-pack and decide what she was going to wear tonight. Mitch rejected the silver top and black skirt in favour of her pink, frilly flapper style dress. Charlie didn’t mind as it was one of her favourites and she always felt seriously sexy when she wore it.

“I’m not sure how I’m going to concentrate on all the moves, knowing that you’ll be so close” he said, his arms held her before pushing her away in a jive style move. Feeling the pressure in his hand she twirled away and then back in, perfectly in time as they danced together for the first time since they had been reunited.

“I love dancing with you” Mitch said, when he bought her to a stop across his knee and she arched back. Her loose curls sweeping the floor, before he pulled her back up and held her body to his.

Finishing her make-up and hair she watched in the mirror as Mitchell did a few of his favourite warm up stretches. Then he pulled out his jeans and a tight pink t-shirt.

“We’ll match” Charlie exclaimed.

“I want us too. I want everyone there to know that you’re my girl, my angel”

In the foyer they waited for the minibus to pick them up and Charlie was able to meet most of the other dancers. She noticed one of two of the beautiful women staring at her; she clasped Mitchell’s hand a little tighter as he introduced them. The guys were easier to get on with and she recognised a couple from the video shoot.

The closer they got to the venue their voices calmed and then silence fell. Each of them was now locked into their own little memory routine for the show ahead. She leaned against Mitch and placed a hand on his chest, feeling his increased heartbeat beneath her palm.

“You’ll be great, baby” she whispered in his ear.

“With you there, I’ll be fucking fantastic” he replied. His lips softly brushed her hairline and then down to her cheek and lips. A second of sweetness in the scent of her skin raised his pulse rate even higher. Her thigh pressed against his as the minibus swung into the empty car park.

watched with glee the sea of women filling up the auditorium. Their excitement and desire almost palpable in the air when finally the lights went down and the dancers took their places on the stage. For the first half Mitch was fairly near the back of the group. Then in the second half the routines became more technical and that was when Mitch came to the front.

Even in her biased opinion he was the best dancer there, especially when he appeared just beyond the wings to take a quick breath. They exchanged a glance of longing before he ran back, flipping and somersaulting to the roars of the crowd. Cheering along with them she gazed at him across the stage and blew him kisses. He smiled broadly and although he couldn’t reciprocate with his own back she knew that he would return them in person later.

As the show came to an end the dancers crowded back stage and Mitchell found her. She reached for him and ran a hand down his shoulder, the sweat clinging to patterns on her fingertips.

“I’ll go and shower and then I’ll be with you” he gasped, still fighting to catch his breath after the gruelling routines

nodded and smiled as he grasped her hand and bought it to his lips for a kiss. Then he turned and followed the rest of the dancers to the changing rooms as Charlie watched Ne-Yo take his final curtain call before appearing in the wings next to her. He spotted Charlie and a small spark of recognition lit his features.

“Do I know you” he asked.

Charlie was stunned into silence for a few seconds before she answered

“I was in your video and you wanted me to be a dancer on this tour but unfortunately I’m too young”

She watched as he appraised her from head to toe
