I was thrilled by the swirl of her tongue and she was the only woman that could make me cum without using her hands. So cum was exactly what I did. I didn’t have a chance to announce it. I probably wouldn’t have done that anyway. I wanted to bust my hot sauce inside her mouth and make her swallow every drop. I held onto her head as I ejaculated every single bit of my vanilla shake inside her nasty mouth. Today feels like my birthday.

Serena, what have you done to me?
I slowly and carefully pulled my dick from her mouth. She looked up at me. She made sure I saw her swallowing all my cum.

I picked her up off the bed by her armpits. I swung her around. Her feet were dappling high above the rug. She was surprised by my actions but she went with it.

“He was right.”

“Who?”

“That’s the best blowjob I’ve ever had in my life.” She leaned down and kissed me. She wrapped her legs around my torso. We devoured each other’s tongues. This was my dream girl, smart, funny, cool, sexy, good in bed and could give an epic blowjob. My dream girl belongs to another man. This isn’t a dream. This is a nightmare.

We kissed until our lips were chapped and sore. We both got back in bed and fell asleep yet again.

We woke about the same time or it seemed that way. It was ten in the morning when I peered over at the clock on the wall. I wanted to service her one last time, tune her up, change her oil, but I was beat. I was the image of what they call plum tuckered out. I didn’t suspect I could get it up again if I tried. She showed me a good time, the best time. I can’t be mad about that but I can be depressed thinking about our bleak future.

“I have to go home now.”

“Yeah you do.” I tried to sound as if I wasn’t disappointed by her inevitable sentence.

“Are you okay with this?”

“Yes, of course.” Do I have a choice?

“What are you going to do?”

Did she mean in general or today? “I’m going to stay home, watch TV.”

“No, about Deshawn.”

“What can I do? I assume you were using me to get back at him?”

“No, that’s not true.”

“I don’t believe you.”

“You don’t have to. As long as I know the truth.” Her words hit me. That’s what I liked about her, her sass, her fire, her softness that was delicately wrapped around it.

“If you ever want to use me again.” I shrugged. “That would be okay.”

“It would?” Her mouth curled into the most scrumptious smile.

“Yes ma’am.”

“Can you keep secrets?”

“Yes, I can keep all your secrets.”

“So you want me to come back?”

“Yes ma’am, whenever you want to come or come back,” I smirked. “You have an open invitation,” with no expiration date after that bomb-ass blowjob.

“Are you serious?”

“Yes, I’m very serious, dead serious, sincerity is overflowing from me to you.”

She giggled. “What we did is so wrong.”

“I’m well aware of that fact but I haven’t started to feel extremely guilty just yet. Have you?”

“No, not yet but I’m sure I will.”

“I will too but all I can think about now is how good you make me feel and if I will ever feel it again.”

“I can’t promise you there will be a next time.”

“I know that.”

“Noah, I’m not a cheater. I mean I obviously am now but this isn’t how I deal with my marital problems.”

“I know that. I know your character.” She was not a bad person. This is not how she operates. I know she loves Deshawn. I’ve seen it up close and personal.

“You are so understanding and passionate. I don’t get that at home. I’m not sure I ever have. I’ve been with the same person for twenty years. I only slept with one other guy and that was when I was seventeen. I’ve only been with two guys my entire life and you. I’m confused, so confused. I don’t wish we hadn’t done this. I own it. I’m not trying to forget about it. I love the way you make me feel.”

“If that’s so. If you felt something good, if I made you feel good, you should come back to see me.”

“Is that a good idea?”

“No, it’s a terrible idea. What we did is so wrong but I want you. I want to be inside you. I want more. I want to make you come again and again.”

“Are you trying to sweet talk me?”

“Is it working?”

“Maybe a little.”

“I would never betray you. I would never tell anyone about us.”

“Oh Noah Hart. You are so sweet.”

“And sexy?”

“Yes, very sexy.”

“The code to my gate is BUFFY. The front door code is SPIKE. Once you’re inside the front door the alarm code is ANGEL. Make sure you hit enter after every command.”

I had completely lost it. I gave her total access to my place. What’s next, am I going to give her access to my bank accounts? I guess that’s not necessary Deshawn makes eight million more than me in NBA money. Serena is one of the only women I know for sure isn’t with me for the money. Deshawn is a hotter commodity than me. I hope she is with me again.

“Buffy, Spike, Angel, Enter.”

“Yes, I really want to see you again.”

“What about the other women you see?”

“There are no other women.”

“What if that changes?” She raised one eyebrow.

“I’m only focused on basketball, going to the playoffs and winning a third Championship,”
and having some more of you.

“I don’t want to interfere with you meeting someone special.”

“That is not likely. If I meet someone you will be the first to know. Serena, stop looking for excuses. I’m only putting energy into basketball and I want to put some more of my energy into you.” Code for my dick. “Think about it. I can keep a secret.”

“Okay I will think about it. How can I just show up to your place? People work for you? Don’t you have a housekeeper?”

“I do but she is a professional. She signed a confidentiality agreement, a non-disclosure. Don’t worry about that. I got that covered.”

“You can’t be mad at me if I can’t do this.”

“I could never be mad at you. I respect whatever decision you make.”

I watched her gather her things and leave me. She’s gone. I got to learn how to face it. Yeah I actually put Hall and Oates on repeat. I’m man enough to admit it.

CHAPTER 6

Time was not on my side. I cuddled up with my remote control. I hadn’t been with a woman in a few months. Serena was an unexpected gem. I wished it could have gone on a bit longer. I could honestly say I had an awesome time. Beyond awesome, epic, the high was something hard to describe.

It startled me how soon the emptiness started to creep in. I missed Serena more than I had missed Shelley. I was with Shelley for more than a year. It didn’t make sense. It escaped all rationale. I had been in what I considered a real relationship with Shelley. I had only considered Serena a friend.

I had ample time for my mind to roam freely. I reminisced on the hot sex we shared. I daydreamed about that one time two years ago when I got a glimpse of Serena wet and naked. I always thought Serena was sexy. I mentally turned off that part of my brain, when it came to her. She was off limits and I built a brick wall to mask my attraction to her.

Deshawn welcomed me to a team that was essentially his. I’ve been embraced as a Chicago Cavalier and the camaraderie with my teammates meant everything to me. But I couldn’t help but to think about that one day two years ago.

We had won our first championship. That’s when my teammates posted a video of me doing the D’Low Shuffle. I’m not sure why me dancing gained so much traction and so many YouTube views. Dee said it was because I was a white boy that could dance. I thought it was stupid. I was a professional basketball player. That in itself required a wealth of precision, agility, and rhythm. Of course I could dance. My ballgame was better than
Dancing With The Stars
.

We were all high on the accolades of winning big. Deshawn was the big brother, father, and captain of the team. Deshawn had a huge barbecue slash pool party at his home in Barrington Hills.

I drove my Range Rover over to his place. He had a huge mansion across town in an upscale exclusive suburb of the city. I didn’t know how small or large the function would be. He told me to show up and I could bring a date. I didn’t have a cache of women on standby like some of my teammates. I showed up alone.

Deshawn was manning the grill when I arrived. He looked happy and a little tipsy. I said hello to his son DJ. His daughter Tenisha waved at me from afar. I asked about Serena and Dee told me she was at the grocery store. I mingled with my other teammates and their families.

I wanted one, a family, a wife, and kids. Being who I am would probably make that difficult to find. I hoped I would meet someone with good intentions. Every woman can’t have a hidden agenda. I think I’m a decent guy. Someone could truly love me. I pray. I want what my parents have. I didn’t want to be alone for much longer.

I found a vacant seat at a table with a beautiful young woman. I had seen her at a lot of the games. Her name escaped me. She was a looker, probably an aspiring model. Not the kind in high fashion but the kind in rap videos. Lance told me she was in a Lil’ Wayne video but I didn’t watch music videos. I listened to rap for the lyrics and the beat. A highly stylized visual rendition of the music was never as appealing to me. The video girl had long jet-black hair and was probably of Latin descent.

“Hey Noah.” She knew me or, at least, my name.

“Hi, I’m sorry I don’t remember your name.” I’m not sure I was actually ever formally introduced to her in the first place. It was clear she was a jump-off, a side-chick. That’s what the Black basketball players called the women they cheated on their wives with. They had these clever slang names for what I’ve always known to be a mistress.

“I’m Vanessa.” She looked at me in a way that was alluring but a bit scary. She was too confident, too self-assured. It was a thin veil. I wasn’t her type. She had her eyes locked on the star. Deshawn was that man. He was the moneymaker and playboy. Dee was known to be quite generous with the ladies. I think he liked all the attention he received from the opposite sex. I was happy I wasn’t the center of the Cavalier universe. I knew I would crack under that kind of pressure. I was content in my role in The Magic Oreo.

“I’m getting really fucking tired of Deshawn ignoring me.”

I glared over at Vanessa. She meant business but I wasn’t as nice as people thought. Her onyx eyes were staring right at Deshawn. He was laughing with Lance oblivious to her attitude. Dee had a beer in one hand and a spatula in the other. Smoke was billowing into the air from his grill.

This side-chick drama was not what I was here for. I didn’t want to be the middleman in some stupid love triangle. But Dee was my brother. I could see Vanessa was heated. I would haul her out of here on her ass if she made a scene. It will always be bros before hoes.

Disrupting Dee’s house is against the rules. She was supposed to sit quietly and just be happy she was invited into his home. All the groupies knew Deshawn’s marital status. They have to abide by the rules. There is a code of conduct in these delicate situations. I’m not an advocate for infidelity but we’re in the NBA. This behavior is normal for most players. I play pro basketball and I’m good at it. I’m not a preacher, therapist or side-chick camp counselor. My team comes first, my teammates come second, and their families come third. Anybody or anything that would or could hurt the Cav franchise is a threat. Coach Tucker told us to eliminate any and all threats.

I decided to calm her self-perceived fears and try to wrangle this wild bull. “I’m sure he’s not ignoring you.”

“Looks like he is to me.”

“He looks busy.”

“That motherfucker ain’t busy. Serena isn’t even around. He could, at least, answer my text messages.”

Of course she knew Deshawn had a wife. They all do. Of course she doesn’t care. Where does Dee find these narcissistic women?

“He’s cooking. Looks like he’s cooking. That makes him busy.”

She rolled her eyes at me. “I don’t give a fuck. I texted him six times and he hasn’t texted me back.”

“He has his hands full.”

“Fuck him! He better answer my text!” Her voice bellowed but the sound of the music drowned her out. She was minutes from making a scene, possibly minutes from getting escorted to the curb or the nearest street corner.

“You, chill the fuck out. I will talk to him.”

“You do that.”

“You calm down.”

“Whatever No-Hart.” She flicked her wrist at me seemingly dismissing me from the table.

I strolled over to the grill. Dee was bobbing his head to the music and flipping burgers.

“No-Hart what up?” I hated that nickname. I have a heart. No-Hart and Hart-Less, fans and friends loved throwing those names at me. “You eat yet?”

“Not yet. Maybe later. Vanessa is upset.”
