“No, I get it,” Damian agreed. “My brothers were great when Cyrus was my mate and even coming to terms with that, he was, um,
bigger
. But they still teased and ribbed me hard about it. That would probably be twice the amount of teasing for Virgil.”

“Or you didn’t tease him after he saw you get teased and that just showed him that he wasn’t loved and invisible,” I added, playing devil’s advocate.

“Okay, we support his choice to move out,” Mrs. Marius said sadly, looking at me with tears in her eyes. “But you promise to protect my boy. The estate gives extra safety to him. I’m sorry he feels we don’t love him for who he is and we screwed up but we do. We’ll work with Ayden and him to fix this but I want you to understand this is only temporary.”

“Or build a house of your own on the estate,” Mr. Marius offered. “We’d do that to keep him close and you all safe. Let him know that. Hell, we’ll move the house he had built and set it on the estate just as is.”

“I will let him know you were willing to go to such great lengths to make him happy, keep him safe, and loved him enough to want him close when I feel he would be receptive to it,” I said carefully. They all nodded and we headed inside.

I spent the next hour watching my stunning mate in his prime. He explained everything once again, answering any questions like a pro, and even giving them his best guesses of hideout locations, potential traitors, and directions on what to do next. I held Foma’s hand the entire time since I could tell he was as nervous as I was. Our mate needed this to go well and our encouragement.

We were so damn proud of him though it was hard not to be supportive of such genius. When it was over, we fell into step with our mate, ignoring that he was practically vibrating with nerves and need to get out of there.

“Knowing the High Council, they will spend the next few days deliberating on what to do,” he said when we were outside.

“Good, then that gives us half the time we’d like to show our mate how impressed we are with him,” I said seductively.

“Half?” he gasped as I pushed him up against his SUV. I mashed my mouth down to his, taking what he freely offered and plundering his sweet, sweet mouth as my hands grabbed his firm ass.

“Oh yes. If we got our way we’d spend the next week worshiping your body, you were so sexy and impressive in there, our mate,” Foma whispered in his ear. A throat cleared behind us and the two of us growled in disappointment as we let Virgil up. “We’re never going to get claimed at this rate.”

“No, we’re going home now to do it,” Virgil promised us. His eyes went wide and I turned to see Damian and his mate, Cyrus, standing there.

“I’m sorry, Virgil,” Damian said quietly. “I know who you are. I shouldn’t have said that. I was just shocked.”

“Go on, amante. Tell him all of it.” Cyrus pushed gently, wrapping an arm around his mate. “Virgil is not a man to judge.”

Damian sighed and nodded. “I know I’m closest with Vic and I know all of us totally worshiped him as the big bro and kick-ass warrior, but I used to worship you too.”

“What? Me? Why?” Virgil gasped as he stared at Damian in shock.

“You made everything look so easy,” Damian answered in an exasperated tone, throwing his hands in the air. “You always knew what was what and you were always in control. You never threw a temper tantrum or got jealous or anything. I thought that was so cool and like Father. It was as if you mastered your emotions way before anyone else could ever.

“Look, I get Gabriel was a jerk when you were a kid or something, and I’m not downplaying that but I think it might just be part of being a big brother. He wasn’t the only one who called one of his little brothers annoying and threw them out of his room or something. I wanted to be just like you and you used to get so pissed at me for wanting to hang with you.”

“Because you were going through my porn, you twit,” Virgil chuckled and closed the distance between him and his brother. “I loved hanging out with you and I adored you when you were a twerp. But you were the most curious little bugger ever. And the moment I told you
no
that’s what you’d go for. I swear I hid that box in like ten different spots but you’d always find it again.”

“That was
porn
?” Damian exclaimed, his eyes practically bugging out of his head. “I thought you wouldn’t share your comic books with me! I cried for days because I didn’t think I was cool enough in your eyes to get to see your comics.”

“No, brother. I would have shared all my comics with you if I’d had any. Why did you think they only had women and no clothes?” I could see my mate trying not to laugh.

“I don’t know. I was like six,” Damian answered with a snicker. They shared a laugh and another hug. “Love you, okay? I’m glad you’re an extra special kick-ass warrior that I didn’t realize. That’s what I meant by my comment. I want my big brother to teach me all his wicked moves. If I had known, I would have begged you long ago. That’s all I was saying. I know who you are, Virg. We all do. Just because we don’t know everything or always get it right doesn’t mean we don’t care.”

“Yeah, I’m maybe starting to grasp that,” he agreed with a shrug. “We’ll see.”

“You didn’t know I loved to bounce around on fat cock and be bitten constantly, did you?” Damian asked in a cheeky tone with attitude. “Or that my favorite game is—”

“That is enough sharing for today, amante,” Cyrus drawled as he covered his mate’s mouth with his hand. “He gets the point. Not knowing everything about each other does not mean there is not love or respect there. He gets it. No need to tell him everything that goes on in our rooms.”

“No, it’s all good, Cyrus,” Virgil chuckled as he opened the door to the front seat and the three of us got into his SUV. “You guys didn’t know I liked to be double stuffed all night after having drunk werewolf blood.” He shut the door so fast he was lucky he didn’t close something vital in it. I was sitting in the back and saw Damian’s and Cyrus’s eyes go so wide they almost fell out of their skulls. “Drive, Foma, drive!”

“Dramatic exit after dropping that bomb?” our mate chuckled as he quickly pulled out of the spot.

“Yeah, I don’t know what got into me,” Virgil admitted as he turned in his seat, smiling widely. “Damian’s always such a smartass and a joker but he’s always so happy. I thought why not try it out and see what it’s like?”

“And did you like it?”

He bit his lower lip and nodded as he glanced at me, his eyes shining. “Yeah. It was fun to see their reactions and get the last word in. They would
never
have guessed I’d say something like that in a million years.”

“It was hot to hear you say it,” I growled. “Foma, do you remember the way back? I want to start preparing our mate on the drive.”

“I remember. Just don’t distract me too badly because I want to see the show,” Foma bitched.

“I’m doing this for both of us, my love. The quicker he’s stretched, the faster we get to take him together as he said he loves,” I reminded him.

“I don’t have any werewolf blood,” Virgil said quietly. “I’ve never done it without that.”

“You’ll be high on us,” I growled and practically dragged him into the backseat with me. The moment I had him pinned under me on the bench seat I opened up his pants and shoved my hand down them. “Are you saying the only way you want to feel us is if you have wolf blood?”

“No, no that’s not what I’m saying at all,” he panted, his eyes wide.

“Then tell me,” I demanded as I pulled his dress pants down more so I could get at his tight hole.

“It opens me up. I don’t worry. I let go. It’s testosterone and Viagra and speed. Endorphins are running wild and there’s no pain, only pleasure.”

“You’re afraid taking both of us will hurt and you won’t like it. It will ruin your fantasy,” Foma said from the driver’s seat, figuring out what I was missing.

“Yes,” Virgil admitted.

“Then it’s a good thing you’re mated to a fae with strong magic who’s traveled all over the world,” I purred. “I picked up some tricks from a witch who was living in Egypt.” I chanted the spell she’d given me centuries ago and my mate gasped, arching his back as he experienced what was equivalent to hours of foreplay and stretching of his hole. He would feel no pain now and be perfectly prepared for Foma and I.

“Thank you for understanding,” Virgil breathed against my lips after I moved between his legs to kiss him.

“Anything for my mate.” We made out like teenagers, simply learning what the other liked while Foma probably broke every speed limit getting us back to the Marius estate. The moment the SUV stopped in front of the house, I pulled up Virgil’s pants, and practically dragged him out of the vehicle with me. Hell, Foma didn’t even park in the garage we were so ready to go. That would have taken too long.

Virgil led the way to his suite, holding his pants closed so he didn’t give anyone a show. The minute we were alone in his rooms, our clothes started flying and we all fell onto his bed in a pile. He found lube and I quickly poured some on my cock, sitting up and holding it for him.

“We come together as one complete soul, mates forever as you claim me first,” I said tenderly as he straddled my lap. Virgil nodded and lowered himself onto my cock. I moaned in bliss.

“I give myself to you freely and for always,” he whispered. “To both of you forever.”

“Thank you, Virgil. You are truly a gift we will always cherish,” Foma whispered. I could tell my mate, who I had loved for so many centuries, was choked up with emotions. I realized Virgil understood it too when he felt one of Foma’s tears on his shoulder. “We finally found you. We’re complete now. We’re a family.” Then he gasped and met my gaze. “We were before. I was happy and—”

“I know, my love. I know,” I said gently, not feeling insulted or slighted in any way by his words. “I never felt unloved but we were missing a piece to our threesome. Now our hearts are complete.”

“Yes, that’s what I meant.”

“I feel the same,” Virgil agreed. “I just didn’t know I had two of you waiting for me. Thank you for the love you’ve already shown me and how quickly you’ve become exactly what I need.”

“It’s what being mates means,” I assured him.

“No, that’s not what it means,” he disagreed as he cupped my cheek. “That’s the men you are. Both of you. You are selfless, and loving, and kind, and more than I ever dreamed of. I’m so blessed.”

“We feel the same,” Foma told him as he kissed Virgil’s neck. I felt him join me inside our mate, Virgil shaking with need as he gasped in pleasure. “Okay?”

“Yes, perfect. So full and wonderful.” Our bodies moved together as one and when it was time, Virgil bit me, drinking from me deeply. I understood what he meant now about it being a private, erotic act that was too special to share… Though part of me wanted to just to show off how beautiful my mates were for all to see what they couldn’t have.

Call me prideful.

When we were spent, both Foma and I coming inside Virgil and our vampire mate’s seed all over my stomach, we collapsed to the bed. We held each other close and caught our breath before the next round where he claimed Foma.

“I don’t want to look a gift horse in the face but there’s something I need to know,” Virgil said quietly when our hearts calmed back down. He waited until we both nodded and took in a shaky breath. “Are you going to be happy staying here and living in our house? You’ve traveled for so long and seen so much. I worry staying here in rural Virginia won’t be enough for you.”

I glanced at Foma and we both burst out laughing. Of course Virgil didn’t understand what was going on so when we calmed back down we each gave him a reassuring kiss.

“We hate traveling all the time,” Foma explained. “It’s horrid. Hotels and rental cars and nothing of your own and living out of a suitcase and blah, blah, blah. Flying sucks and before that it was traveling by boat or horse. Honestly. I’m not sure what’s worse with how rude people are in the airline industry.”

“In other words, we found a way to make a living as we searched for you,” I told Virgil with a big smile. “We don’t care where we live. We just want a home again. We want us to all be together, something that’s
ours
and not a different bed every night.”

“And thank the gods we never have to sleep with another man or woman again,” Foma said with a sigh. Virgil blinked in shock at him at that one. “Yes, sex is great and even could be fun at times when Mareo and I shared someone but it was always followed by the letdown afterwards that they weren’t our mate. There is
more
than enough chemistry here that our sex life will never get boring and there will be fun had by all for centuries to come.”

“You’re both such romantics,” Virgil whispered and then frowned. “I’m not very romantic. It’s always kind of lost on me. I worry I won’t be able to romance you the way you want ever.”

“Oh, sweetheart,” I chuckled, hugging him tightly. “Yes, we’re romantics at heart and that’s what kept us hopeful we’d find you. But we like to romance. I love romancing Foma. He has trouble accepting it at times and so do I when he does it for me. Will you accept our gestures and show us how you appreciate them?”

“Yes, of course,” Virgil agreed. “But—”

“Nope, no
butts
,” Foma chuckled, smacking Virgil’s. “We like to woo. Then we like to claim who we’ve wooed as they gratefully show us their appreciation. That’s romantic in itself.”
