Claire looked hopefully at Argo and then Cooper. Hades grunted his approval, and Calinda and Kent, Achilles’s lieutenants who had switched sides, nodded. Since Achilles’s hasty departure, they had learned that there were still about thirty Longbrook wolves in the nearby areas. That wasn’t a lot, but it was a start. Only a few had still been running with Achilles out of obligation to the pack, but under new leadership, more were willing to build on the old greatness in hopes of becoming a true pack once more.

A wolf’s life really wasn’t complete without his or her pack, so it came as no surprise to Cooper that many were eager to get back into the protective fold of a system familiar and dear to them.

“That sounds like a plan,” Argo said, smiling.

Cooper had never seen his mate quite as happy as he was now. Right after the confrontation with Achilles, which they’d resolved without bloodshed, Argo had asked him and Claire to tie their bond. The ceremony would be in a month but until then, they had plenty of work to do to set up the pack. Argo was growing right before their very eyes, becoming a man of substance and worth, far surpassing what he had once been. Cooper could really see great ancestors in Argo, their traits clearly passed down to this generation of Longbrooks. And Cooper had a chance to share in that glory.

It felt fantastic.

And it was made only better by the fact that they had the most amazing woman at their side. One that could be soft and gentle, and then so determined and driven when needed.

When they drove home in the evening, after an exhausting day of planning their next moves for the Longbrook settlement, Cooper couldn’t keep his eyes off of Claire. It was making driving damn difficult.

“Keep your eyes on the road, Coop,” Argo said, laughter in his voice.

“Sure,” Cooper mumbled, giving Claire a wink in the rearview mirror.

She grinned and Cooper gunned it even harder around the last bend in the road. He wanted to get home. Right now.

As the truck skidded to a halt in front of the house, Cooper looked at Argo in that knowing way that Argo must have learned to decipher by now. As if made of one mind, they both bolted from the car and before Claire knew what hit her, she was thrown over Cooper’s shoulder and Cooper carried her into their Shifter Grove home.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Claire squealed, giggling.

Cooper smacked her on the ass just hard enough for her to gasp as Argo held the door open for them.

“Rewarding you for an excellently thought-out plan, my Georgia peach,” Argo said, following them in.

Cooper made a beeline for the bed and threw Claire down on it. He practically ripped his shirt off and Claire bounced up, tearing his belt off. It had become a bit of a tradition for them to haphazardly paw and claw at each other’s clothing until all three of them were naked as the day they were born. Cooper pulled open Argo’s belt as Argo kicked off his boots and their lips met halfway in a kiss, as both of them took off Claire’s shirt and then bra. Teamwork at its finest.

As far as Cooper was concerned, he would have rather not left the house at all most days. He was perfectly happy just loving these two amazing people in his life. But he understood the need to work on their shared future. That was fine with him, as long as there would always be these little stolen moments where they could just focus on one another.

Seeing the image of Claire naked on the bed spread out for him and Argo made him rock hard in a second. He broke the kiss with Argo and climbed on the bed, reluctant to have even a moment in which he wasn’t touching both of them. He laid down on his back and pulled Claire to him, kissing her hungrily. She purred into his mouth and with Argo’s guiding hands helping, got on top of him.

Cooper’s hands immediately went to her hips, maneuvering her into place on top of him. When she sunk down on his cock, all moans and little whimpers, he pushed his head back into the sheets. A blissful smile spread over his lips as her hands trailed up his stomach and chest, stopping on his shoulders as she slowly ground into him. Finally, when she took him in all the way, both of them paused and took a deep breath.

“I love you, baby,” Cooper hissed through his teeth.

He didn’t need to check to know that Claire was smiling and Argo was giving him that private smirk that he often wore that drove everyone around him crazy. The pressure of Claire riding him was so good that Cooper’s fingers dug into her soft hips hard, making her whine a little as he made her bounce up and down on his cock faster.

“That’s so good,” Claire said, breathing hard and heavy.

Cooper rose up a bit, catching one of her nipples in his mouth and sucking on it, hard. She giggled and leaned closer to him, so Cooper could lie back down again. It was the moment when the pressure got harder that Cooper truly groaned.

“Oh my god, Argo,” Claire yelped as her body was thrust hard into Cooper.

Argo had put on a condom and from the first thrust on, when Argo spread her cheeks wide and rammed into her lubed ass, Cooper was in heaven. The combined weight of Argo and Claire on top of him, their bodies moving rhythmically and rubbing up against him, made him wild with need. His hands weren’t sure whether they wanted to grab Claire or Argo, so he did both, the soft, smooth skin of Claire’s curves alternating with the chiseled hardness of Argo’s abs.

“Fucking hell,” Cooper hissed, his muscles contracting.

The pressure was building in his balls and with each thrust that Argo pounded into Claire, all three of them came closer and closer to their release. Claire’s lustful screams were filling the air and she hid her head into Cooper’s shoulder, hanging on for dear life. Claire was bumping up and down on Cooper so good, her pussy milking him greedily, that Cooper was just inches from losing his mind.

Argo pulled out almost completely and then plowed back into Claire right down to the base, and Claire let out a guttural moan and convulsed.

“That’s it,” Argo hissed into Claire’s ear, keeping eye contact with Cooper.

Those blue eyes sucked Cooper in like they always did. With Argo willing him to cum and Claire’s tight pussy begging for his seed, Cooper growled in ecstasy. Whatever problems they had with the pack, with their futures, or with their pasts, Cooper could always be sure that just between the three of them, everything was exactly as it should be. With Claire and Argo, he could feel safe. He could feel loved and he could feel strong. Together, nothing could stop them.

Claire whimpered as her orgasm rocketed through her and she took Cooper right along with her. He howled out as he pumped his load into her and as soon as he was done, falling limp on the sheets, Argo lifted Claire off of him like she weighed nothing at all. Cooper watched as Argo took off the condom and then penetrated her again, Claire’s nails digging into him and her cute moans filling the air.

It took just a few pumps for Argo to let loose, dropping his load right with Cooper’s. Cooper kissed Claire’s forehead and lips gently as Argo shuddered, gingerly pulling out and collapsing on the other side of her. Sex with Argo had always been damn amazing, but since reclaiming his spot as the head of the Longbrook pack, that man had been on fire. Cooper almost felt bad for all the poor souls missing out on the kind of hot loving going on at the Longbrook-Greymane household.

“Fresh air and a hard day’s work does you good, Argo,” Cooper said with a chuckle, reaching over Claire to plant a quick kiss on Argo’s lips. Argo smiled a wolfish smile and inclined his head, nodding.

“I think it does.”

“I think you’re both crazy,” Claire said, her eyes twinkling.

For a while, Cooper had been afraid they’d just damn break the Georgia peach with all the rough loving, but she was as insatiable as they were. Maybe even more so. She definitely had a dirtier mind, and that was something that surprised her as much as anyone else, from what Cooper could tell. In any case, the three of them made a triad just like he’d always wanted. A little wild, a little dangerous, a little fun, and very strong.

Cooper had to reflect on how life worked at moments like those. A few years ago, he’d been an adrenaline junkie looking for another fix, just trying to go from one day to another without losing it because of what had happened in his past and with his pack. And now here he was, setting up a new family, a new pack, being loved by two beautiful, intense beings. That gave him all the thrill he ever needed in life.

EPILOGUE

Claire

Claire was shaking so hard she thought that if someone tried to take a picture of her right then, she would look like a blur.

It wasn’t the chilly Idaho summer night that licked at her skin that was getting her so out of her mind, but the two dashingly handsome men stalking across the dewy plain, their eyes set solely on her. The Longbrook wolves surrounded her, making a semi-circle around her, as the full moon shone bright above. A few of their new Shifter Grove friends stood watch
at a respectful distance, giving the pack plenty of room to conduct their ceremony, but still there for their special night.

Claire looked from one man to the other as they came to a stop before her, joining hands with her. Cooper’s wild, gray eyes were twinkling with joy and Argo’s blue gaze could see right through her as always. She felt a deep tremor in her chest, and for a moment, she feared that she wouldn’t get a single word out of her mouth even if she tried.

The last few months had been nothing short of insane. Packing up everything she owned and moving from Georgia to Idaho had been a trek on its own, but choosing to stay with not one man but two was a whole layer of crazy on top of it. Add in the fact that the two men she had fallen head-over-heels for were werewolves on a mission to reunite a wolf pack, and Claire could say with confidence that her life had changed completely.

She let out a deep breath as Cooper squeezed her hand encouragingly.

“Are you ready?” he asked.

She nodded. That was all she could do.

“We are gathered here tonight, under the watchful gaze of Mother Moon, to unite our bodies,” Argo said, smiling softly as his glance shifted between Cooper and Claire.

“We are gathered here tonight, under the watchful gaze of Mother Moon, to unite our souls,” Cooper said.

“We are gathered here tonight, under the watchful gaze of Mother Moon, to unite our love,” Claire finished, letting out a little sigh when the words came out instead of dying in her throat like she’d feared.

“I take you, to be me. I take you, to share me. I take you, to love me,” Argo said, and a jolt ran through Claire.

Cooper repeated those words and so did Claire, the intensity of the moment sweeping her away.

“We take one another, to be one,” they said together, and when the words had left their lips, the proud and happy faces of countless wolves around them disappeared from sight.

Every one of them shifted, letting their wolves take over. In a moment, Claire, Cooper, and Argo were surrounded by the echoing sounds of wolf howls, rejoicing in the love of their new leaders. In the distance, Claire could see Trey and Tyler Warfang shift and join the howl as well, adding their powerful voices to the combined strength of the Longbrooks.

Tears fell freely down her cheeks as Argo and Cooper both drew her into a strong, loving embrace. All her life, she had felt like an outsider trying to get in. She’d never truly fit in anywhere, leaving her listless and even unhappy. But here, in Idaho, she had found her future and her home.

Just days ago, she had officially started her business as a landscaper. She’d been hesitant at first, but with Argo’s and Cooper’s encouragement, she’d approached the Warfang brothers with an offer to join forces. Trey and Tyler thought it was a brilliant idea, as neither one of them had an eye for decorating or the desire to do it, but their countless clients had been vying to get someone to spruce up their yards.

Claire was already drowning in job offers and she couldn’t have been more excited for what the future held. And not only was her career taking off, but her love life was, obviously incomparable to anything she’d ever imagined. The first time she’d seen the ad posted by Argo and Cooper, she’d thought that any woman who answered it would be insane. And yet, on the spur of the moment (and, okay, aided by a few glasses of wine) she had taken the plunge, and it had led her straight to her destiny.

As far as she was concerned, a girl couldn’t get any luckier than that. She loved feeling needed. Not just desired and loved, but truly
needed
. Argo and Cooper now discussed everything with her and she was often the voice of reason that made the two fiery men see a solution that was otherwise invisible to them. She took care of the home, but also their hearts and souls, and they took care of her in every way imaginable. Now, with a business starting to take off, Claire could only think of one more thing that she was missing… babies!

Still hugging her men tightly, a grin crossed her lips.

“What’s so funny?” Argo asked with a chuckle.

“Oh, I’m just wondering.”

“About what?” Cooper asked, giving her a look that made her blush a little.

“Whether we can leave and get on with the
rest
of the evening already,” she said, biting her lower lip.

Argo and Cooper exchanged a look and as they tended to do, her wolves surprised the hell out of her. She’d been waiting for them for so long to show up in her life though, that any foolishness they threw her way was just met with giggles and affection. When Argo threw her over his shoulder and announced that the triad needed to go “rest,” she wasn’t sure whether she wanted to kick him or kiss him.

But she definitely knew she would kiss him and Cooper first, and then try and figure out
how
annoyed she was with them.

Probably not at all.
