“I’m so close,” she said, not sure who she
was talking to.
Two fingers slipped inside of her as Alek
continued his sensual assault on her clit. Her orgasm hit so hard,
she saw black spots in front of her eyes as she screamed out Alek’s
name.
When her fuzzy mind recovered some from the
most intense orgasm of her life, Trish looked down to see Alek
still kneeling between her legs. His chin was wet, and she blushed
knowing it was from her juices.
“You are so fucking beautiful,” Alek said in
something that sounded like awe. “Take your bra off so I can suck
on your fabulous tits before I fuck you.”
Nodding, Trish unhooked the front of her bra
with shaky hands.
“Do you still want me?” Alek asked as he
moved to lift Trish and set her farther back on the bed.
Trish nodded because she could no longer form
a coherent thought. She watched as he stripped out of his clothes,
unable to tear her eyes away from him. When he finally stood before
her naked, she swallowed hard. The photographer in her longed to
photograph him, see how the lighting played on every ripple of his
torso. His broad shoulders and chest were accentuated by his narrow
waist. A light dusting of hair covered his small brown nipples.
When her eyes moved down to his penis, Trish licked her lips. The
man was huge, almost to the point of making her nervous. She knew
he would stretch her to her limit, and she couldn’t wait.
“See anything you like?” he asked, drawing
her attention to his crooked grin.
“Yes,” she said. “I can’t believe I waited
this long to see you naked.”
Alek’s face sobered as he stared at her. “I
feel the same about you.”
Crawling up beside her on the bed, his mouth
latched onto one of her nipples. Trish had expected a gentle
assault on her breasts, but Alek was anything but gentle. He sucked
hard and nipped. Most surprising of all was how much Trish loved
it.
“I want to tie you to this bed and suck on
these beautiful tits until you beg me to fuck you,” he said as he
cupped one breast in each hand. “Right now, I want you too much to
wait, but we will do that soon.”
Trish moaned. “Please, no more teasing, Alek.
I’ve wanted you for too long.”
Alek grabbed the condom she’d placed on the
bedside table before her bath, and she watched with fascination as
he slid it down his full length.
Settling between her legs, Alek positioned
himself at her entrance before leaning forward to kiss her with a
tenderness that was at odds with the desperation on his face. When
he pulled his mouth away, he slid into her slowly.
“Christ,” he said. “You’re so tight. God, you
feel fantastic.”
Trish had no words for how she felt as Alek’s
thick shaft stretched her in a pleasant way. Arching her hips up to
meet Alek’s thrusts, she felt free in a way she never had. She
pulsed around Alek in the faintest of orgasms that seemed to go on
and on forever.
She didn’t recognize the wanton woman who was
moaning and begging for more. Soon, those mild spasms stopped as
Alek’s thrusts increased. That’s when everything inside of her
started getting tighter and tighter. Just when she thought she
couldn’t take anymore, Alek slowed his pace and ground his pelvis
against her, hitting just the right spot to send her spiraling over
the edge. She hadn’t expected this orgasm to be more intense than
the first, but it was. Screaming and thrashing, she barely heard
Alek shout her name as he found his own release.
They lay side by side for a long time before
Alek reached forward to stroke her cheek. “I don’t want to hurt
you,” he said, his voice scarcely more than a whisper.
“You won’t,” she said. “I know you aren’t
going to fall in love with me. I know this is just a fling, and I’m
fine with that.”
Alek looked away and spoke so softly she
barely heard him. “I can’t be the man you deserve, no matter how
strong my feelings for you get.”
Trish had no idea how to respond to what Alek
had just said. She hadn’t expected this to end with them talking
about feelings, except maybe him warning her about getting too
attached. She liked Alek, and she was pretty sure she could fall in
love with a man like him. She really should try her best to avoid
Alek, but she wanted him too much to deny herself the pleasure he
could give her. For that reason, she planned to make the most of
the time they had together.
Pulling her into his arms, Alek settled her
head on his chest. “I’m sorry,” he insisted. “I’m not sure why I
said that. You have a way of making me act like a different
man.”
“Don’t apologize,” she said. “We’ve both had
a rough day.”
“Hearing you’d been with Phoebe probably took
five-hundred years off my life.”
Trish giggled. “You likely have five-hundred
or so to spare. How long do you guys live anyway?”
Alek thought for a moment. “We don’t age,” he
said. “I suppose it’s possible for us to live forever. That is, if
we weren’t so good at getting ourselves killed. Things are better
now that we’re at peace with the hunters.”
“I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get
to meet the hunters that night at the club,” she said.
They’d run into two hunters at a club, a man
and a woman. The woman had been intoxicated, and the man had been
taking her home. Trish had been fascinated with the hunters since
she’d read about them in Drew’s book, but she hadn’t been in the
group that had gotten to talk to the hunters that night.
“You should avoid the hunters, especially
now,” Alek said.
“Why especially now?” she asked.
“They can also mate with psychic humans,”
Alek said by way of explanation.
“So, I should avoid them because they’ll try
to get me pregnant if they see me?” she asked, trying hard to hide
her laughter. “Come on, Alek. You guys are more desperate than they
are. Don’t they have female children? That means their men can find
wives from the other families.”
“You’d be a big temptation,” he said.
“Are you worried I’ll fall for a sexy
hunter?” she teased.
“Yes,” he admitted quietly. “I know that
makes me an asshole, since I said I can’t give you a relationship,
but I don’t want you with another man, especially a hunter.”
Trish yawned. “Then I guess you’re lucky I’m
not looking for a man right now. Hope you don’t mind me taking a
little nap.”
“Sweet dreams, honey,” he said as she drifted
off to sleep.
Phoebe walked into the rundown warehouse with
Linc at her side. While some warehouses in this area were close
together, others were surrounded by large parking lots, like the
one they were entering. Trucks were parked around the outside, and
there was nothing that would lead anyone to believe a large crime
ring was run out of this unremarkable building. Then again, it was
possible the man beside her was lying. She wasn’t sure if he was
stupid enough to try to escape. Not that it mattered. She’d either
meet the man she wanted to tonight or she’d enjoy killing the man
who’d lied to her.
Inside the warehouse, stacks of boxes lined
the walls, and workers were moving more boxes around.
“You brought a date, Linc?” called out a man
with a clipboard.
“Where’s he at?” Linc asked without looking
at the man who’d spoken.
“Upstairs,” another man called out. “He’s
gonna want you to share that piece of ass. You need any help with
her?”
“Nah,” Linc answered, trying to sound less
afraid than he was.
Ignoring the crude hoots from the idiots,
they walked upstairs to a large, sparsely furnished office that
smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and sweat. A woman sat on the
edge of the desk wearing nothing but a lacy pair of panties. When
she smiled at Phoebe and licked her full lips, Phoebe had to admit
that the human bitch was attractive, but if the track marks were
any indication, that wouldn’t last long.
Ray Patella looked nothing like she’d
expected, probably because she’d made assumptions based on his
name. This man’s blonde hair was nearly white and his eyes a
strange shade of grey. Based on the overpowering stench, she’d
guess he was a chain smoker. He looked to be in his mid-fifties,
but it was hard to tell since heavy smokers seemed to age faster.
The man was not attractive by any stretch of the imagination, but
she could tell he thought himself desirable. Males of all species
were foolish, in her opinion.
“What you got for me, Linc?” Ray Patella
asked with only mild curiosity.
“I need your help in a small matter,” Phoebe
said with a pleasant smile.
His cold eyes fixed on Phoebe as he let out a
humorless laugh. With a wave of his hand, he gestured to the woman
on his desk. “This is the only help I give bitches.”
Phoebe smiled and turned to Linc. “Shoot
yourself in the head,” she said, gesturing to the far end of the
room. “Do it over there so you don’t get blood all over me.”
Linc blinked twice before nodding. Since she
didn’t use compulsion often, she wasn’t as skilled as some, but his
mind was weak, like most men, so she knew he’d do what she ordered.
After walking across the room, Linc pulled the gun from his
shoulder holster, put it to his temple, and pulled the trigger.
Phoebe let out a regretful sigh before
returning her attention to Ray Patella. “Such a pity. I’d hoped to
toy with him more before he died.”
Ray Patella rose to his feet, pointing a gun
at her. “What the fuck is this about?” The man was still trying to
sound unaffected, but the sweat on his brow gave away his fear.
Phoebe liked that he didn’t sound even a
little afraid. He’d be a good ally, and sadly, she needed one at
the moment. It was sad because he’d also be a good plaything, even
if he wasn’t her usual type. “I can control the minds of most and
take away free will. Put the gun in your mouth,” she ordered,
enjoying the fear in his eyes as he put the barrel of the gun in
his own mouth. “Take the gun out of your mouth, unload it, and sit
down,” she said, hoping she wouldn’t need to expend any more of her
waning energy on mind control.
He did as she said, staring at her with both
fear and respect. “What can I do for you Miss…” He waited for her
name.
“Just call me Phoebe,” she said, looking
around the room. “What are you really moving through this
warehouse?”
“You a cop?” he asked suspiciously.
She laughed. “Do I look like a police
officer?”
He relaxed and shook his head. “No. At the
moment, I’m transporting drugs, but I like to dabble in weapons and
even people. We have access to a new drug that steals people’s
inhibitions, but it’s nothing compared to what you do. That was
amazing.”
Phoebe still had trouble believing this was
the scary crime boss she’d heard about. His rough voice and rigid
posture reminded her more of a police officer. “As I said before, I
need your help. Naturally, I’ll be willing to repay the favor.”
“What can I do for you?”
“I need a place to store a couple of people
for a short time. I also need to get my hands on a woman.” She
turned her cell phone toward him so he could see the picture she’d
taken of Drew’s girlfriend’s driver’s license. “I checked the
address on her driver’s license, but she’s no longer living
there.”
His eyes flashed with what she suspected
might be recognition, but he quickly masked it. “Not bad,” he said
as he examined the photo. “Why do you need her?”
She shrugged. “I might not need her at all.
This is a precaution in case my son remains stubborn. My recent
encounter with him leads me to believe he’ll be a problem.”
“What are your plans for the woman?” he
asked.
The man seemed far too interested in Drew’s
girlfriend. “Are you hiding something from me?” she asked, ready to
kill him and find someone else to help her if she had to.
Ray Patella opened his mouth, with an obvious
denial on his lips, but then he closed it and considered his words
before speaking. “She looks familiar. Can I keep her?”
“Of course,” Phoebe said. “The woman is yours
after I’m done with her.”
He nodded. “I’ve got another warehouse about
three blocks from here with living quarters upstairs. It’s not in
use at the moment, but we’ll need it again in about a month.”
“That’s more than enough time,” she said.
“I’ll need a soundproof room for my hobbies.”
“I don’t want details. Just clean up your own
mess. Do you have a number I can reach you at once I have the
woman?”
Phoebe smiled and gave him her number. “I’ll
go collect my things and head over to this warehouse. Just message
me the address.”
“No problem,” Ray Patella said in a
distracted voice. “Anything else I need to know before I work on
acquiring the woman for you?”
“Don’t approach her if she’s with a man,” she
warned. “Before you waste your time with needless posturing, I
should warn you that any man she’s with will be almost as dangerous
as I am.”
The man looked concerned. “What if we can’t
find her alone?”
“I’m sure you’ll figure something out,”
Phoebe said. He’d better figure something out, or she’d be forced
to take her frustrations out on
him
.
Alek awoke to the sound of Trish whimpering
in her sleep. Cradling her close, he whispered nonsense words until
she finally let out a sigh, and the tension eased from her
body.
He’d never acted this way with any woman,
even Helena. It’s not like he was one of those bastards who had sex
with a woman and just took off. Okay, so he did that if they wanted
things that way. Otherwise, he stuck around for the night, bought
them breakfast or something like that. They all went in knowing he
wasn’t looking for a relationship, but he still didn’t treat women
like whores.
