Her brother sneered. “The only good thing she was useful for was her power. My family was a drain. They wouldn’t stand up and take control. They were weak. Are you going to allow us to drain her?”

“No. What I see in your heads is nothing but butchering innocent people. It will stop now.” Lucas’ gaze turned and focused on Alzono as he stood and slowly made his way back to them. His magic simmered in the air, building, ready to attack.

Lifting her arms, Beth started to weave a wall of protection around her and Lucas and he smiled down at her. “Sweetie there is no need to worry. They cannot harm either of us.” With that last word, the screams started. Alzono, Brian and Elephant Dick seemed to burn from the inside out.

The stench almost had her gaging before a breeze blew in, pushing it away from her. “I’d hoped to work with them to stop this mess, but it seems there are a number of facets joining their cause. With these three gone, it will give the rest of their peons notice that I will not put up with this cause.” He turned and looked down at her.

His dark hair was tied back, Lucas’s eyes were not of this world, orange and red swirled around almost looking like that of a flame. “I’m sorry I pulled you here, but I needed you at my side while I dealt with the present threat. This makes no sense.” He tucked one of her strands of hair behind her ear.

“Your men, Edward, Dred and Rock mean nothing to me, other than I don’t want to kill them and that I would protect them for you.” He kissed the top of her head and stepped back.

Her stomach did a flip flop and she moaned. “Not you too?” She threw up her hands and started to pace back and forth. “So let me get this straight. I’m somehow your woman too? Boy, this keeps getting better and better. Did the fates put a stop at Beth’s pussy to lighten your soul?” She flopped down on the leaf-covered ground and sighed, knowing the other three of her men were coming up on them along with Deception.

She looked up to see the three of them standing there, glaring at Lucas. “Don’t even start, because right now I’m ready to turn the four of you into cow shit. Edward, Dred, Brian is dead. What do you think will happen to Nora? Will his death snap her out of this fog or have I truly lost her?”

Scooping her up in his arms, Dred kissed her lips and rubbed his face against hers. “I’m sorry, Beth, but she’s gone. The change was just too much for her. There is nothing we can do for Nora. Come, how about a nice rub down before dinner.” He turned to leave, but she looked back at Lucas, then at Edward.

“Work it out, Edward. He’s here to stay and I have a feeling he’s shifted the war in our favor.” She rested her head on Dred’s chest. “Lucas, if you are going to be part of this family, work it out with Edward and I’ll see you at dinner.”

“Wait!” Lucas shouted and carefully moved to her. “I know it’s asking a lot, but may I have enough for an exchange.” He looked down at the ground almost ashamed. “I’m sorry to do this now, but…”

She patted Dred’s chest. “Put me down for a minute Dred.” He growled, but lowered her to the ground. Beth stepped up close to him and placed her hand on his chest.

Darkness was strong in him. Beth could only feel a hint of light inside this man. “This exchange will help keep the shadows back for now till we figure out what is going on?”

“I’m not going to lie, one exchange will start our joining and yes, it will lighten the shadows enough that I can survive a few hours without your presence. We will all have to talk.” He looked at Edward and nodded. “For now I will explain things to your man, Edward, and we’ll meet you soon.”

He was speaking the truth and Beth was sexually attracted to him. She looked over to Edward who nodded. “It’s okay, go on Little Witch.”

When she stepped into his arms, Lucas wrapped his arms around her and buried his nose into his neck. “You smell divine, like the morning dew. Thank you for this gift, my lady.” Lucas kissed the side of her neck before he buried his fangs into her.

Her nipples hardened and Beth’s panties were wet. She smiled holding onto him as Beth looked up to see Dred shaking his head. “I can’t wait to see you bent over that spanking bench. Panties. You were warned.”

There was no warning, one minute Beth had wet panties on, the next they were gone and she felt a draft up her skirt. “Not you too?” She groaned as Lucas sealed the holes and smiled while he opened his shirt.

“They are right. You should be ready for them, us at all times. Drink from me my light.” He pulled her close. His scent was that of earth. Beth slid her hands up his chest and licked the spot below his heart before sinking her fangs deep allowing him into her.

The connection was instant, his need to claim her fierce, but Lucas kept his needs leashed knowing they all needed to make sense of this situation. Beth sealed the holes and kissed his chest. “Thank you for giving us time. I know it’s hard for you and I’ll do what I can to help you till we settle this.”

“I’ll be fine for now. I can reach you if I need to. Go, enjoy your rub down while I speak with Edward.” Lucas released her into Dred’s arms where once more he picked her up and made his way through the forest.

She looked back over his shoulder at Edward and he nodded. “
Do not worry, Little Witch, we will work this out.”
Both men broke their connection and she sighed, knowing words were going to be said.

Edward walked down the path with Lucas next to him. “She is your woman?”

“Yes. I believe this is one of the reasons I woke so early. For some reason my resting place was brought here and placed in the maze. No, I’m not bonded to you like you are to Dred and Rock, but I’m also not wanting to rip you apart for being with her. In some ways this could be better anyway.” He stopped and looked at him. “I don’t want to take over leadership again. I’m tired and more than willing to allow you that responsibility, but I will be here if you need me. The only need I have is to make Beth mine. I don’t even want to be in the wedding ceremony you are planning.”

“What happened with the three you killed?” Edward could see Lucas wanted to stay in the background and to him that was fine. He still couldn’t believe his Little Witch was mated to four men.

“You are right. It is amazing, but I believe Beth was made for all of us. Where you need a Queen, Dred and Rock need an Alpha female and I need her to keep me sane.” Lucas laughed and took a deep breath. “As for the three, they were just the upfront men. Someone else or something else is at play here. They didn’t know who or even what this person looked like. Each of them only spoke to a phone, never to a man. I’m afraid I only bought time. From what I could tell, we have till the first of the year before they make their next move.”

“Fools, can’t they see it’s already happened? Such a waste. We're going to have to work with the human authorities, then, if this is going to come to a head.” Edward stopped and turned to Lucas. The man was a half foot taller than him and twice as powerful. “How bad are the shadows? Will you be able to hold off till tonight?”

“I’ll be fine for tonight, but I need to take her to my home. It needs to be done there. I’ll bring her back tomorrow morning. I’m sorry if I sound so needy. I knew if the right woman came along it would be hard for everyone around her.”

“I only ask that you take Deception with you. It would ease all of our minds with her not close, and only if she agrees. This can’t be forced. She has suffered enough.” Edward agreed even though he hated the idea of his Little Witch anywhere but in the same house as he was.

“Do you object to living here with us?” They came out of the woods to stare at the large estate before them. “Beth has her own house that she loves. I know one day she’d love to go back there, but with everything going on, I just don’t see it happening.”

“For now this place is best, but I would suggest you tone down the wedding. Invite only a select few, the other side does have its spies. I did see that you have two in your home now. I couldn’t make out who, but I will find out soon. No one will hurt what is ours.” Lucas said. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I believe Isaac and Simon are waiting for me. Go spend this time with Beth. Explain things to her, she looks to you for guidance.”

With that said, Lucas vanished from his side. Edward made his way to the castle and their personal rooms. Both Dred and Rock had heard every word he had said to Lucas. When it came to their woman they all had to agree on what was best for her.

I don’t like the idea of her leaving this planet, but he is asking so little. I take it he can’t lie to her?”
Dred asked, knowing he was personally giving Beth an oil rub down.

No, he can’t lie or hurt her. He is a good advisor to have and it’s not like we are losing our woman. We’ll just have to share her, but Beth has lots of love to give to us all.”
Edward nodded to the guards as he entered their private domain.

He stepped into their main room and noticed Dred and Rock had stepped up to a table where their woman was now laying with her eyes closed.

“Are you okay?” Beth’s eyes popped open and focused on him. “What do you think?”

“Lucas is part of our family now. Even though he won’t be bonded to us, he will live with us. He’s also asked to stay in the background. He has no desire to take over.” Edward knelt down next to the table. “He wants to claim you tonight, Beth, and I think it should be done. I don’t know how much longer he can hold out against the shadows. I believe that is why the others tried to wake him, believing the shadows would take over and he’d join their cause.” He brushed her hair back.

“How are you doing personally? I know it still had to be hard for you to see your brother die like that.” Edward asked and he could see the tears build up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

“I know that deep down that it’s best he’s gone, but a small part still remembers the little boy who use to play with me. That was the brother I’ll always remember. What does this claiming entail…”she moaned as Dred added more warm oil to her back and butt.

He stood and smiled. “He wants to show you his home and, yes, it would be for the night, then he’d bring you back here.”

She lifted herself up, not at all ashamed of her nudity. “His home was on the other planet, right? You want me to travel to another world?” Beth plopped down shaking her head. “I don’t know Edward, going to that dream realm was bad enough, but this…” Beth took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, I can do this, but we’ll be back tomorrow, right.”

“Yes, Lucas will bring you back.” He held out his hand and she got off the table, standing before him naked except for the oil Dred and Rock had applied to her skin. “We’ll have to explore the possibilities of oil more fully. Right now you need to shower and get ready for dinner.”

Her gaze jumped to the clock and she squeaked. “Damn it Dred, I told you to let me know when it was 5:00. Now I have less than a half hour to get ready.” She ran for the bathroom, her breasts swaying with her movement and her cute ass jiggled when she ran.

“Stop it! I know that look and it’s not happening. Now shoo, while I get ready,” Beth yelled, slamming the door and locking it.

“You do know I can open that door?” Edward asked and heard her squeal.

“Don’t you dare!”

The three of them went out into the front room. Lucas stood there looking up at the ceiling. “This is amazing. I can see my planet and this entity you have protecting this area…I’ve heard they are very loyal. We are very lucky indeed. Oh, Simon and Isaac will be joining us for dinner, but the other, this Diego is no more. He was one of the others I couldn’t sense until I was up close to him.”

“Thank you, just the thought he had touched our woman makes me furious.” Dred bowed to Lucas and he waved his hand.

“Please none of that. We are all tied together now, you are the family I’ve dreamed of and I will protect and help as much as possible.” The four of them sat down in the chairs to wait their woman. “I must say I met her personal assistant.” Lucas grinned. “I thought the boy was going to vanish right there on the spot when he noticed me.”

Edward threw his head back and laughed. “That would be Avril. If you need any information about the old ways, or the ancient scrolls, well your scrolls, he knows most of them by heart. Except the new ones. Our Little Witch opened your personal vault just this morning.” Edward looked down at Deception. He knew that the creature was having a heated discussion with his relative.

Deception was livid that his grandfather would take his protector away from him without a thought. But even their talk stopped when Beth stepped out of their bedroom dressed in a dark blue corset dress Edward had never seen before.

Her breasts were barely kept in the harness of the dress, the back of the dress fanned out behind her while the front was almost short enough to see her pussy.

“You are going to let others see you like this?” Lucas snarled stepping in front of him. “You show too much.”

“Excuse me?” She poked his chest and Dred, Rock and Edward stood back watching the show.

“I dress how I want and, for your information, I am covered. If you don’t like it, tough shit. Now I’m ready to go to dinner, Edward.” She moved around Lucas and he snarled.

“My Beth, please, I don’t think I could handle others staring at you.” Lucas said quietly from behind her, stopping her in her tracks.

She sighed. “Lucas, I can promise you this. No one matters to me, but my men. If they stare, let them as long as they don’t touch. Plus, most of those who are going to be there tonight are family.” Beth looked down at her dress, tugging at it. “I wore this because I knew you liked blue.”

The four of them moaned at the same time, knowing that dinner would be a very trying affair.

Chapter Seventeen

It was the first formal dinner, Beth had hosted since she had committed to her men and she was scared half out of her mind. Not only did Edward have family coming out of his ass, Dred and Rock’s family alone contained over 50 members and that was only their immediate members.

She pasted on a smile and stepped into the dining hall on Lucas’ and Edward’s arms, while Rock and Dred stood in front of them. The smell of roasted deer drifted to her and her stomach growled causing Edward and Lucas to smile down at her.
