A standalone story in the Were Legends universe.

After suffering abuse from her husband, Alaura never thought
she’d feel safe enough to let another man seduce her…let alone two virile
Weres. Alone in a cave, cradled within the heat of a man she’d grown to love
and a friend she’d learned to trust, Alaura can’t deny the intense need to be
claimed by a wolf. Or two.

Chapter One

Alaura’s skin was cold beneath Shaw’s fingertips as she lay
motionless between him and his pack mate, Hagan, in the shallow cave. Although
the human woman had been his biggest inconvenience as his pack traveled the
lands in search of a home, she’d also become his fiercest fantasy. A fantasy he’d
tried to keep only in his mind.

When his pack had found her beaten and abandoned by her
husband, Shaw had immediately drawn her into his pack, saving her from certain
death. She’d seemed so fragile and alone, and he’d felt the strong need to
protect her.

Several months had passed since that day and the gods only
knew how much of his heart she’d come to occupy. She’d since healed from the
attack, remaining brave enough to travel alongside them while they were in
human form, and on his back while they were in wolf form. It had taken her some
time to open up and tell him what had happened to her that day. And it had
taken a large sum of self-control for him not to travel back to her home and
slay the bastard who had treated her so poorly.

He watched her now as her long, lean body squirmed beside
him and her eyes fluttered open and shut again. Her sleep was often filled with
nightmares of her past, of the human man whose temper had almost killed her on
more than one occasion. But this time her discomfort was from traveling through
the harsh spring weather. An early snowstorm had disrupted their trek to
Paqualette—a country that accepted drifting Weres into their land. Shaw had
heard about the newly turned Were queen and her Were king who ran the country.
They were doing their best to offer a home to any Were who promised to help
them fight the Okantalor Vamps in what was being called the Blood War.

Shaw and his pack leaped at the invitation. Drifting
homelessly through unfriendly lands for years upon years had taken its toll on
his pack. It would do their souls a world of good to finally have a home. To
have such a place as a destination gave his pack hope, for once.

Only it had taken them longer to travel to Paqualette with
the fragile human woman.

Two of the twelve pack mates had shown slight irritation with
the disruption, but they knew Shaw had the final say as alpha leader. For the
most part, everyone had welcomed her, and grown to love her almost as much as
he did.

And if they didn’t? Well, it wouldn’t have mattered. There
was no way he was giving up on Alaura.

She stirred beside him again, and Shaw feared she’d become
too cold. She’d needed warmth, so he had invited Hagan in to help him provide
as much heat as their bodies could offer.

Shaw had peeled her cold, wet clothes from her body and
she’d somehow wiggled around so that her breasts now pressed against his chest,
her rear facing Hagan.

Seeing her naked like this, seeing the curves and bare flesh
he’d only imagined up to this point, it took all his strength and will not to
touch her inappropriately.

He’d only give her his body heat, he’d told himself
repeatedly. Like always—besides an innocent kiss once in a while—he’d keep his
hands to himself. She’d been through enough and Shaw was determined to earn her
trust.

If only she weren’t so tempting.

He bit back a curse when Alaura touched her hand to his
chest. Her eyes were still closed but her fingers ran lazily around his nipple.

“Shaw, would you make love to me?” Her voice was a low
mumble.

Was she talking in her sleep again? It was hard to tell. In
any case her words bee-lined straight to his groin. His cock responded on
command, growing stiff against her belly.

“Alaura? Are you awake?” She’d grown so comfortable with him
recently that she’d begun flirting, but never had she said anything so bold.

“Sounded like an invitation to me,” Hagan said, a coy smile
on his face. “What are you waiting for, Shaw? She wants you. She’s wanted you
for a long time. Haven’t you seen it?”

“No.” Every nerve in Shaw’s body was burning to spread her
legs and drive into her, warming her in an entirely different way, but surely
Alaura was only feeling confused from exhaustion. He’d tried to shield her from
the storm as much as possible until they found this cave to take retreat, but
he knew she’d still suffered.

When she fully woke, what was she going to think when she
realized two Weres bracketed her body? The mere thought of that sent another
surge of longing to his already throbbing shaft. What if she liked it? What if
she wanted them both to please her, making her dizzy with desire? Being a Were,
he knew firsthand how good it felt to share a lover, to give one woman the
ultimate gift of being filled completely. To hear Alaura moan with utter
ecstasy, to see her blissfully writhe and pant was something Shaw would give
anything for. He’d do anything for her.

Even make her his mate.

Even share her with Hagan?

No. He was letting his lust drive him. She wasn’t fully
lucid. It was wrong of him to feel this way.

Chapter Two

Alaura inhaled Shaw’s scent, a mixture of rain and the
primitive, alluring animal he was. Her body responded to him as it usually did,
her clit tingling and her pussy pulsing with need.

“Touch me, Shaw,” she whispered drowsily, saying the words
that had been on the tip of her tongue for days, weeks. She’d fallen in love
with him through the months of travel. He’d been her savior and he’d shown her
how a man should act. Protective and caring, not cruel and hurtful.

She knew he behaved this way because he was alpha of his
pack. He radiated power and took his role as leader and defender seriously.
Only she wasn’t a Were, like the others in his pack. She was human—an imposter
who’d somehow fallen into the good graces of this magnificent man.

And now, finally, she was alone with him, both of them naked
and free of their damp clothing.

How her luck had turned, when only months ago she’d been
left to die.

She sighed as she ran her fingers along his massive chest.
She’d been so cold and now she was surrounded with warmth and muscle. In front
of her, behind her, everywhere. Oh, and it felt so good.

“Touch her or I will,” a deep voice said from above her
head. Not Shaw.

She wrenched an eye open to look up. With the help of the
dim lighting entering the cave, she saw Shaw’s lustful blue eyes staring back
at her. His raven hair fell in wet strands, surrounding his cut jaw. He was the
most gorgeous man she’d ever seen.

Yes, she was quite lucky.

They had shared several short, sweet kisses up to this
point. Nothing more, except the tangible growing sexual tension that could be
felt from across a campground. But being this close to him, with him watching
her heatedly, had her wanting a kiss and so much more. Instinctively, she
lifted her leg over his hip and felt his warm hand immediately cup her mound.
He found her sensitive clitoris and rubbed two fingers over it.

“Yes,” she whispered as a primal desire coiled heavy in her
pussy. Nothing mattered but the need to feel him inside her. To finally have
him as she’d fantasized about so many times.

“Alaura, I’ll do anything for you.” He glided his finger
into her entrance before sliding it over her nub again.

She moaned, relishing his touch on her sensitive flesh.

“Hell,” he growled. “You must know, though, that we have
company.”

A rough hand brushed across her cheek, pushing back a lock
of her damp hair. Startled, Alaura fully opened her eyes and tilted her head
back to see a man with stunning dark eyes, full lips and shaggy brown hair that
sat in clumped locks over his broad, tanned shoulder.

Hagan.

Shaw’s second-in-command and a Were she’d grown to trust as
a friend. His masculine beauty stunned her just as much as his close proximity
startled her. She inched closer to Shaw. “What’s going on?”

With a pounding heart, she kept her gaze on the familiar
intruder. Hagan was almost as attractive as Shaw, but in a more carefree,
undisciplined way. Untamed. Wild.

What was happening?

Shaw kissed her cheek, then brushed his lips over her ear in
a whisper. “It’s okay, Alaura. We won’t hurt you.”

She shook her head absently as her mind searched for a
reason why she’d be in this intimate situation with these two large Weres. She
felt small and delicate sandwiched between their steely bodies. Her pulse raced
and her flesh prickled. What was she missing? Confusion warred with pleasure as
Shaw’s fingers worked her achingly responsive sex and Hagan gave her a roguish
grin, sweeping his fingers down her throat.

“You don’t have to fear me, Alaura,” Hagan drawled in his
husky voice. “I’m just here to keep you warm.”

Warm. She’d been so cold from the snowstorm and had quickly
drifted to sleep when Shaw had brought her into this cave. The pieces formed
together in her mind and she remembered Hagan following them in and spreading
out behind her. She’d welcomed the immediate heat the two had given her. But
now she wasn’t sure.

Fear mixed with desire as Shaw’s long finger slid into her
in a steady rhythm. The craving to run away with panic seemed a lesser priority
than the need to feel him inside her.

This was insane. Confusing yet seductive. Wicked yet
captivating. It felt too good to stop him. Too good to care about anything but
her release. She could yell at them when it was over and she’d come back to her
senses.

If she ever came back to her senses.

A hand found her breast and teased her sensitive nipple,
sending a lightning spark to where Shaw’s fingers stroked.

“Don’t touch her.” Shaw looked over her head at the Were
behind her, and Alaura realized it was Hagan’s hand on her breast.

His rough, callused hand, large enough to cup her fully. It
didn’t budge from her bosom and her body reacted, deceiving her as more heat
built in her pussy, soaking Shaw’s finger. She clenched down on him and the
sensation inside soared.

Shaw groaned. “Do you want him to touch you, love?”

“Yes,” she whispered, surprised by her boldness. All she
knew at that moment was how safe she felt, bordered by Shaw and Hagan. Hagan,
who had become her friend just like the rest of the twelve pack mates. And
Shaw, who filled her mind with sensual thoughts.

“Smart woman,” Hagan murmured against her ear, his warm
breath tickling her skin. “You won’t be disappointed.”

“Just her breast,” Shaw ordered. “Nowhere else.”

Another hand found her ass and squeezed. Alaura sighed with
yearning and closed her eyes. She didn’t want to know who was touching her
where. She only wanted to accept the guilty pleasure, feel it, lose herself in
it.

It had been so long since a man had touched her. Never had
it felt this good. Never had she felt so right.

She was surrounded by hard muscles and warmth. Thighs,
rippled stomachs and solid chests. They moved against her, pressed up next to
her. Shaw’s long, thick cock lengthened against her belly, while Hagan’s sat
firmly in the cradle of her buttocks. They were both strong, feral beings.
Their primitive energy sizzled into the air around her, keeping her in a
seductive trance.

She’d grown from cold, to warm, to moist with perspiration
in a matter of minutes and she didn’t want to go back any time soon.

Their hands moved over her body, massaging her sore muscles
and teasing her sensitive areas, her nipples, her ass, her pussy. A mouth—Shaw’s
lips—molded against hers in an urgent kiss, full of need. She eagerly welcomed
his tongue and he explored her mouth, drugging her with his intoxicating, fiery
taste.

This was their first real kiss, she realized as an
afterthought. A fervent, heated kiss, not simply a peck stolen in a rare
private moment. She’d fantasized about the passion they could eventually share,
but hadn’t dreamed it would be this powerful. All-consuming.

Alaura responded by moving her hips to meet his finger
thrusts. She moaned into his mouth when Hagan gathered up her hair and licked
the back of her neck with his warm tongue. He shifted to the side of her throat
and up to her ear, kissing, licking and nipping at her skin.

Behind her, he grinded his cock against her buttocks,
wedging it between her cheeks, against her anus. Her body burned with desire.

Ah.

Shaw’s kiss grew more demanding. His steady finger strokes
as well as Hagan’s presence behind her shoved her over the edge and the searing
pressure that had coiled low inside her pelvis exploded. She reached for Shaw’s
solid shoulders and clung to him. She whimpered and writhed against his clever
caresses, wanting him to know how wonderful he made her feel.

“Beautiful.” Hagan’s gruff voice rumbled close to her.

Shaw withdrew his hand and placed it on her hip
possessively. He broke the kiss and inhaled as he rested his forehead against
hers. Silence filled the small space then and Alaura opened her eyes to see him
watching her.

“I want to you to feel pleasure like you’ve never known,” he
whispered, his words only for her ears. “I don’t have much to give you at this
point.” He paused but held her gaze, a look of determination covering any lack
of confidence he’d had for that split second. “I swear that won’t last for
long, Alaura. I’ll work hard to find us a home of our own. But for now—” He
glanced over her shoulder at Hagan. “Let me take care of you the only way I
can.”

Alaura nodded just once. She couldn’t help but surrender to
him. Hearing that he wanted to take care of her sent a surge of warmth through
her body. She believed him…and after her short marriage to a cruel man, she’d
never thought she’d find a man she could trust. After that horrifying day when
he’d left her battered out in the deep of the forest, left for dead, she’d only
wanted to disappear.

She’d been alone—her only family had passed away from
sickness.

But Shaw and his pack had brought her under their wings—and
they’d showed her what loyalty and unconditional love was.

Shaw grinned, obviously pleased with her response, and then
murmured something to Hagan she couldn’t make out.

Hagan’s cock hardened against her backside in response to
whatever Shaw had said. “That shouldn’t be a problem.” He leaned in to brush
his lips against Alaura’s ear. “Hope you enjoy this, beautiful.”

Shaw kissed her lips. “Yes, love, this is all for you. Relax
and take pleasure in it.”
