Frost shook his head and teased, “You know all of this sexual tension makes it painfully obvious. You can talk about it with me. I promise it won’t go any further.”

She knew that it wouldn’t. She also knew he was the one to talk to about these things. Lexy gazed into the glass of amber colored liquid as she replied, “Sometimes, fighting turns me on and there was this pull between us afterwards that made me feel like doing something reckless. It was like he understood that about me. I don’t know, I can’t really explain it.”

Frost whispered, “Believe it or not I understand. That’s how I felt when I was around Chloe. That’s why I moved so fast. Well, one of the reasons. There was also she who will not be named.”

Lexy chuckled and said, “You know Harry Potter references will get you everywhere with Kayn.”

She felt his presence before she looked up, and sure enough, Tiberius was standing beside the table.

He held out his hand, looked into her eyes and asserted, “Come and talk to me for a minute? I promise I’ll behave.”

Everything about him turned her on from the way he carried himself to his devious penetrating chocolate brown eyes.
She didn’t want him to behave.
Lexy glanced at Frost and enquired, “Are you going to be alright?”

He grinned and chuckled, “Get out of here, Lexy. If anyone deserves sixty seconds of gratuitous fun, it’s you.”

Tiberius laughed and teased, “That’s you not me brother. I know I can do better than sixty seconds. Tonight, I’m just looking to finish a conversation.”

Lexy knit her brow at his still extended hand and stated, “I’m not holding your hand, but I’ll speak to you.”

Tiberius started to laugh. He raised his hands to signal that he’d surrendered as he backed out of her way. She stood up and he grinned, turned around and said, “Always the Dragon,” as he walked away. She followed Tiberius through the pub, passed the growing herd of patrons and for a moment she was wondering where he was taking her. He shoved open a side door with an exit sign and held it open for her as she stepped out into the cement stairwell of what was obviously the fire escape. He closed the door behind her and they were alone.

Tiberius didn’t wait for her to speak nor did he make an awkward attempt at conversation. They both knew why they were here. He took a couple of steps towards her and she stepped back, finding her back flush against the cement wall behind her.

He whispered seductively, “I’m surprised you came out here with me. Where’s your Handler?”

“He’s having a nap,” she replied.

Tiberius grinned at her, bit his lip and questioned, “And you came to find me, with those incredibly sexy heels, and that red lipstick, didn’t you?”

She parted her lips with the perfect denial prepared but instead she opted for the truth, “Maybe, I did.”

He grinned and placed one hand against the wall behind her. Tiberius leaned in and whispered in her ear, “All I can think about is what you looked like stretched out on that table. The way that you gasped when I cut you and the expression on your face while you were healing. It’s messing with a mind a little bit.”

Heaven help her she wanted him in a crazy way.
Her hands lay flat against Tiberius’s chest. She’d tried to block his advances out of instinct. She relaxed her hands and slid them down to the button of his jeans and called his bluff by undoing it. Tiberius pulled away and looked into her eyes, surprised by her forward behavior.

He groaned, leaned back in and chuckled, “You’re a naughty girl, Lexy Abrelle. Are you trying to get us arrested? You know I want you bad enough to take you right here.”

Where she would have frozen and bolted at the mere mention of her birth name before the Summit. She let it slide, knowing he knew everything about her now. Her blood rushed through her veins as she whispered, “Then do it.” His expression darkened as he closed the space between them. Her lips parted as their mouths met, his tongue darted against hers causing her pulse to race uncontrollably. He changed the game on Lexy by unzipping the zipper of her jeans and slipping his hand underneath the lacy material of her underwear. She gasped as he began to rhythmically touch her.
Well, this had escalated quickly
. Lexy was so turned on; she didn’t care where they were or who might catch them. He sped up the rhythmic stroking of his finger, while nibbling on her neck, biting her just hard enough to trigger her healing ability to intensify the pleasure. He muffled her sounds of pleasure with his hand; this turned her on even more. She cried out as an explosion of blinding pleasure overcame her. Her knees buckled and he held her against the wall to keep her from falling.

Tiberius seductively praised her by whispering, “Good girl,” into her ear and she shivered again. She cupped her hand over his rigidly hard manhood, undid his zipper and slid her hand under the waist band of his underwear. Her eyes widened as she discovered his size.
He was ready for her and enormous
.

He placed his hand over hers and said, “we’re not doing this here. I want to take my time with you. I’ve been waiting too long for this. I don’t want to half ass it in an uncomfortable stairwell.”

He’d waited too long for this? Was it possible that he’d really been wanting her for all of these years?

Tiberius grinned at her inner commentary, adjusted his painfully erect package and scolded, “Don’t pretend you didn’t know. I’ve been hot for you since you were that Wild Thing that tied me up and teased me mercilessly in the woods.” Tiberius looked into her eyes for a second as he took in her confused expression and said, “You really didn’t know, did you?”

Her senses were still humming from what he’d done to her as she replied, “You’ve always acted like you hated me.”

Tiberius grinned at her as he responded to her question, “Well, a certain amount of it was wounded ego. You chose Grey over me. Don’t you remember doing that?”

All of that animosity, had been to hide the fact that she’d hurt his feelings
? Lexy looked into his eyes and said, “I wasn’t capable of making choices based on things like who I wanted more back then. I didn’t think like that. I chose Grey because something about him made me feel safe.”

“I understand the situation a little more after what I saw during the Summit. I didn’t know. I just couldn’t explain this thing I’ve always had for you. I know logically we can’t ever really be together, but I’ve always wanted you. I honestly thought you knew.”

His ridiculous behavior for all of these years actually made sense now
. She was just about to speak when the door opened.

Frost stuck his head out and declared, “Grey just texted me asking me if you were with me and I said you were. He’s probably on his way down here. So, unless you want to explain this moment you’re having you might want to dash into the bathroom and fix yourself up before he gets down here.”

She nodded at him, grateful for the warning and said, “Thanks, I’ll do that.”

Frost grinned as he closed the door without saying anything else.

Tiberius gave her a roguish smile and teased, “I feel like the other man. Handlers can be such a pain in the ass. I’ll sneak away up these stairs. If he sees me in this condition, it’s going to cause you a shit load of drama.” He began to scale the stairs, stopped halfway and added, “You know I’m not done with you right?”

She smiled back at him. Tiberius grinned, turned around and dashed up the rest of the stairs. Lexy watched him until he disappeared from sight and then did her best to straighten herself up without a mirror just in case Grey was already there. She felt her neck and wiped away the blood with her black top. He’d bit her so hard that she’d bled. Lexy covered her mouth with one hand, she was both shocked and impressed with herself at the same time.
There was probably lipstick all over her face and her underwear were uncomfortably damp. For good reason…He knew how to mix pleasure with pain and take a healer to the brink of euphoria. They hadn’t actually gone all of the way but she wasn’t sure she was going to be able to walk in these heels after that. Her darkly twisted nemesis had blown her damn mind with that experience.

Lexy took a deep breath, removed her heels and composed herself as she walked back into the pub. He wasn’t there yet. She made her way through the now packed pub and darted into the washroom, smiling as she looked at her flushed face and rosy cheeks in the mirror. She’d done a half decent job of tidying herself up outside without a mirror. There was still a smudge of blood on her neck. Lexy wet down a piece of paper towel and wiped it off. She washed her hands. The thought of what he’d just done to her made her legs tremble.
Pull yourself together
. She put on a fresh coat of lipstick and decided it’d be best if she went commando. Lexy slipped into a stall removed the evidence of her tryst and tossed them into the trash.
It felt like she was cheating.
Lexy turned around, leaned against the sink and calmed herself down.
She was only cheating on herself
.
Grey had no idea that their relationship had ever gone further than just friends
. Lexy turned around, looked into the mirror and affirmed, “You’re moving on and this is what you need to do for yourself.” She took another deep breath and left the bathroom.
He wasn’t at the table yet. This was good she’d just be sitting here with Frost when he arrived.
She sat down in the chair directly across from Frost
.
He pointed at the full drink in front of her and it wasn’t beer. She knit her brow, picked it up and smelled it.
It was whisky
.

Frost grinned and teased, “I thought you might be in the mood for a stiff one.”

She smirked, raised her glass into the air in a mock salute and sparred, “That’s right, get it all out of your system before Grey gets back.”

“Well, you were gone for longer than sixty seconds. So, maybe it was worth it.” He chuckled and took a drink from his glass.

Lexy grinned and sighed, “Anything else? I’m sure you can do better than that.”

He casually stated, “I bet there were cameras out there.”

That one hit its mark.
She glanced up at him and casually sparred, “Well, if someone posts anything about any of us the Aries Group will make it disappear…won’t they?”
Now, she was going to have to go and check for cameras.
“I didn’t have sex with him.”
That was the truth

sort of. I guess it would depend on your definition of the word. Frost was managing to keep a straight face. That was good.

He assured her, “You never have to explain yourself to me, Lexy. If anyone understands your situation with Grey, it’s me.”

Her Handler strolled through the door and waved at them with monumentally perfect timing as Frost chuckled and said, “Don’t worry about it. He’s not going to be worrying about how he’s making you feel while he’s bedding some random girl.”

This was true
.

Grey slid into the seat next to her and questioned, “Where is everybody? I thought this place would be packed.” A chesty waitress with a low cut top came and took his drink order and he watched her stroll away from their table, while not so inconspicuously leering at her behind. He mouthed the words, “She’s adorable.”

Her guilt instantly evaporated. She shook her head and took a swig from her glass of whisky.

Grey chuckled, “Whisky Lexy…Really? Are we having one of those go hard or go home nights?”

Frost choked on his last gulp of whisky and was forced to cover his mouth so he didn’t spit it all over that table.

That was funny.
Lexy pressed her lips together to stop herself from joining in but watching Frost’s attempt to reign in his laughter forced her to look away from him as she started to laugh. She quickly regained control over her innuendo induced case of the giggles and pulled herself together. She turned around and far too casually responded, “Yes, I guess it is.”

Frost was practically tearing up as Grey said, “Alright, either I’m totally missing something here or you two are already bombed.”

Frost lifted his glass into the air and saved the day by saying, “Guilty as charged.”

Their scantily clad waitress appeared with Grey’s beer and a bottle of what they were drinking. She offered them another and the two of them agreed.

Grey piped in, “Let me down this beer and I’ll have what they’re having. In ten minutes I won’t be able to understand what they’re talking about if I’m the only sober one.” She started to walk away and he accidentally spilled his full beer. She rushed to get a dry cloth for the spill and leaned across the table to clean it up as Grey apologized profusely.
Oh, he’d totally spilled that on purpose.
Lexy took a good look at her flirtatious Handler and smiled.
You can always trust people to be exactly who they are.

Before the pretty waitress left the table Grey playfully enquired, “Can I ask you for one more thing?”

She paused smiled at him and replied, “Yes?”

He seductively asked, “Do you have a pen I can borrow for a second? I promise, I won’t walk away with it.”

The pretty and impressively busty waitress smiled back at him and said, “Sure, I’ll be right back.”

Oh, Lexy had seen him pull this one at least a dozen times. She took another giant gulp of her whisky.
To hell with savoring it, she just needed her mind to be numb.

The waitress returned with the pen and handed it to Grey. He asked her to wait for one second and she could have it right back. Lexy watched him jot down his number on a coaster along with an impressively ballsy little note, ‘I’m in town for a few days, text me if you want to hook up.’ He passed her the coaster along with the pen and gave her a charming smile as she shook her head, grinned and walked away.

They’d been sitting there for all of ten minutes when Grey’s phone vibrated. He grinned, took it out of his pocket as he read the text. He shot their room key across the table and announced, “Don’t bother to wait up, Lex.” Grey stood up and waved as he wandered up to the bar, told them his drinks were on Frost’s tab and strolled out of the pub.

That stung less than it usually did because she’d found her own distraction that evening. She’d honestly thought there was no way Tiberius could top the depravity of that moment they’d shared during half time at the Summit, but now she knew what he was capable of. She tingled every time she thought about it.
She glanced up at Frost.
He probably thought she was upset about Grey.
Lexy stared into her now empty glass and brought the conversation back to something a little more comfortable as she questioned, “How in the hell does that pick up line always work?”
