The wealthy man comes to realize that the monk welcomes all of life's manifestations equally as they pass by him. The wealthy man's position in the world hid equanimity from him. Surrounded by the image of wealth, he was unable to relish in it and beyond it with naked satisfaction.

In free-form practice, we glimpse the understanding that we do not need to feel separate from the wild force of nature — we understand how it breathes into us, interpenetrates our entire physical self. We are nature's children. There is no part of you or any material thing that doesn't exist within nature. Nature has no beginning or end, no separation, no ownership. Wild nature is infinite. You are that.

Stephen Lloyd Webber earned an MFA in poetry from New Mexico State University and founded Writing Immersion Retreats, teaching several yoga and writing intensives each year in Italy, Bali, and the Caribbean.
