Her fascination was what had led her to giving
herself as a sub at the club. When she’d visited the club six months ago and
had seen him helping with a scene, she’d known the only way to gain his attention
was to become what he wanted. It helped that she’d been submissive all of her
life. She’d never had a Dom before. What she had was a friend who worked behind
the bar at weekends. Her friend had to get her into the place and discussed
everything she needed to know to gain
Leon
’s attention.

The lifestyle appealed to her far more than she
hoped. Giving herself over to
Leon
and having him take care of her filled her with so much longing she didn’t know
how she was able to stand.

Bernice knew it was against modern traditions
for a woman to be kept safe by a man. Admittedly, it was a radical change for
her devoting herself personally and sexually to a man. She wanted it. Bernice
knew she needed it. The control would help her gain her own independence in
life. She wanted to take care of him.
To be part of something
bigger than herself.
All her family were dead. Her parents had died in a
fire when she was twelve. After living with her auntie until she turned
eighteen, she’d had no one in the world, no one to care for her or love her.

She didn’t know how
Leon
felt about her. There was
attraction between them. She hoped for her own sake and sanity there was a hell
of a lot more.

“Do you want to leave?” he asked.

Bernice nodded. She didn’t trust her voice. The
excitement threatened to take over. The last thing she needed was to look
immature in front of him.
Leon
showed his control through his actions. He was an experienced Dom and greatly
respected as well. “Let me give our location to
Tyler
and contact information, and then we’ll
hit the road.”

“I don’t have any clothes with me,” she said.
Her clothes had been left at home. Barring the coat she’d worn to the club, she
didn’t have anything else.

“You don’t need anything. I take care of what
is mine, Bernie, and that means you.” He leaned over and kissed her head. Her
heart raced from the simple action. She didn’t know what to make of his kiss.

He took her hand. Together they moved around
the club to where
Tyler
stood. His wife sat at his feet. Bernice saw the owner was rubbing his fingers
through her hair. She wondered if
Leon
would take that kind of time
with her.

“Are you leaving?”
Tyler
asked.

“Yes.”

“See you in three weeks, and,
Leon
, be good.” She watched
Leon
nod his head, and then they were heading out of the club.

Bernice pulled on his hand to stop him. “May I
say goodbye to my friend?”

“Who’s your friend?”

She pointed to the woman near the pool table.
Sandra wasn’t working that night. She’d offered to be a witness to help her be
calm during the ceremony.
Leon
let her hand go for a split second as she walked toward her friend. Sandra
waited,
a small frown of concern on her face.

“What’s the matter?” she asked.

“I wanted to say goodbye.”

“Damn it, Bernice. You shouldn’t have let him
go. Those are the rules.”

“He said I could say goodbye to you.”

“And you’ve done it and need to go back to him.
This may have earned you a punishment.” Sandra hugged her close. Bernice felt
the anticipation of the potential punishment. What would
Leon
do to her? “Don’t worry.
Leon
is a good master. He’s one of the best, if not the best, Dom at Kink.”

“Thank you. I’ll give you a call when I can.”

“Don’t fret, honey. I hope you’re too damn busy
to worry about me. I’m a big girl and can take care of myself. Go and enjoy
your Christmas. I’ll see you when you get back.”

Bernice hugged her friend one last time before
going straight back to
Leon
.
She made sure her head was bowed and showed him her submissive pose to try to
soothe any stinging punishment.

Leon
led her outside to
his waiting car. He helped her inside the passenger seat. She reached for the
seat belt to fasten herself into. He moved her hand out of the way as he leaned
over and secured her in safely. She’d never had someone devote so much time to
her.

“You’re my woman now. I’ll take care of
everything for you.” He kissed her head once again then closed her door.

Her hands shook as Sandra’s words invaded her
mind. Had she upset him?

He got in the other side. She watched him put
his seat belt on then start the car. Words left her. What did she say? Most of
their conversation had been about books.
Conversations?
More like one word answers. What on earth could she talk about?

“Stop over-thinking this,” he said.

“How do you know what I’m thinking?”

“You’re frowning. You’re wondering what to talk
about. Tell me how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking.” He put the head
lights on and then pulled out onto the road. The roads had been treated so the
snow was reserved to the pavements. She knew one big heavy snowfall and they’d
be sunk under a mountain of snow. Or at least it would feel like a mountain of
snow.

“I’m nervous. Sandra, my friend, said I
shouldn’t have left you, and I’ve earned a punishment from you.” She ran her
fingers through her hair trying to calm her nerves.

Bernice had wanted
Leon
for some time but wanting and
actually having
were
two different things. She was
scared of what the
wanting
might mean
to her.

“First, you either call me ‘Sir’ or ‘Master’
when you speak to me. I know there are many different rules for the Dominants.
I want to hear your voice, and I won’t ban you from speaking to me. And the
second, I never want you to keep your fears to yourself. I always want to know
what is going on in that mind of yours.” He tapped her knee while keeping his
gaze on the road in front of them.

“Will I be getting a punishment, Master?”

“No, I understand why you searched for your
friend. Anyone else might have punished you, but I don’t feel the need to. Sit
back and relax. We’ve got a few hours’ drive before we reach my cabin.”

Bernice eased the seat back until she was lying
back enough to sleep. The coat she wore smelt like the man at her side. Her
whole body hummed with approval at having his scent surround her. She wanted to
be surrounded by him for the rest of her life.

She closed her eyes allowing the exhaustion of
the day to take over. The hum of the car eventually sent her to sleep.

Chapter Two

Leon
pulled up outside
his cabin. A layer of snow had fallen during his drive. He was pleased to have
fitted his car with the chain for extra grip on the road. Bernice was curled up
in the car against the window pane. She looked so peaceful. His jacket that she
wore had opened through the journey, exposing a length of her thigh. The pale
creaminess of her skin tempted him. His palm ached with the need to reach out
and touch her.

He turned his attention back on the road. The
last thing he wanted to do was to crash the car because of his lack of
concentration. In order to keep his sanity he’d covered her leg without
touching her skin.

Parking the car,
Leon
glanced over at the perfection
of her face. His heart pounded inside his chest. This was going to be the best
Christmas of his life.

He grabbed his cell phone and dialled
Tyler
’s number.

“You’re there in one piece?”
Tyler
asked the moment he picked up the
phone.

“Yes, I’ll call you in case of any
emergencies.”

“That’s fine. I know you’ve fitted out your
cabin with all the necessities, and I’m not talking about the whips and chains.
Take care, have fun, and I’ll see you before the New Year.”

Leon
nodded. The wreath
on the front door of the cabin looked great against the dark wood.

“Thank you for doing this for me, man.”

“You’re the one who told me she’s the one. I
believe you, and I’d never come between true love. Merry Christmas, buddy. I
hope it works out well.”

They ended the call as Bernice came ‘round. She
stretched, pressing the whole of her body against his jacket. The outline of
those gorgeous breasts and full hips made his mouth water.

“Are we here?” she asked. Her voice was filled
with the confusion of sleep.

“Yes, we are, baby. Did you have a good sleep?”

She turned to look at him, a small smile
playing along her lips.
“The best.”

He wanted to know what her smile meant. Had she
been dreaming about him? The anticipation of getting her inside was killing
him. He didn’t want to rush or appear out of control.

“This is your place, Master?” she asked.

His title went straight to his dick. She
remembered what to call him.

“Yes. Are you ready to go inside?”

She nodded her head.

Leon
got out of the car
first and went to the trunk to grab the bags he’d packed for their stay. He’d
spent the time to shop, purchasing items for her. She remained in the car until
he got round to her side. He put the straps of the bags on his shoulders and
then opened the door for her.

He took her hand leading her up to the front
door. The wreath glowed on their approach. He’d looped some sensory lights
designed to glow near movement.
Leon
loved them, and from the look on her face, so, too, did Bernice.

“Do you like Christmas?” he asked. He had loved
the festive season ever since he was a little boy.

“I find it lonely. The shops are always closed,
and the library is closed for four days. It can get very quiet for me.” She let
go of his hand while he searched for the key.

“Well, this year will be completely different
for you.” He unlocked then opened the door. The cabin was in darkness. He
placed his hand on her back leading her inside. The light switch was on the
side of the wall. He flicked the switch, and the whole cabin came alight.

He’d spent the time earlier in the week to
decorate the tree in the corner far enough away from the fireplace. All the
other decorations were piled on the dinner table for them both to decorate the
cabin in their own time. This was his three weeks to train her, but to also
spend the secluded time he wanted with her. They would be together without any
interruptions.

Having books from the library was nothing
compared to the interaction of two people getting to know each other. The
number of books he’d taken out in the last year alone was laughable. Each time
he went to the library was with the intention of being served by her. When
they’d installed the computers for them to scan the books had been a real
disappointment. Thankfully, he’d not needed to use those blasted machines. He
was still able to keep up his closeness with her. Not that over the counter
interactions could be classed as the closeness he enjoyed.

He closed the door and watched as she messed
with the length of his jacket. Soon, he’d have her naked and beneath him. Not
tonight but soon. First, he wanted to show her all the pleasurable benefits of
having a dominant for a man in her life.

After putting the bags down near the door, he
took her hand once again, leading her through to the kitchen. His cabin wasn’t
large, but it had a stairway up to the main bedroom. He never expected to
entertain during his visits, and the distance between the other cabins provided
more than enough privacy. The secluded aspect was one of the reasons why he’d
bought the cabin so far out. The reclusive lifestyle appealed to him. All he
needed was a woman to share the rest of his life with.

That woman was standing right in front of him.
He leaned forward and sniffed her hair. She smelt amazing to him. Like sunshine
on a rainy day.

Before she protested about his odd behaviour he
set her down at the clear part of the table. “I’m going to feed you,” he said.

“Do you know what I like, Master?” she asked.
He heard the hesitation in her voice. She was unsure around him. There were
times he wanted to hear his title, but at others he would like to hear his
name. When they were training then she could use his title whereas now he
wanted to hear his name on her lips.
