Chapter Twelve

Three months
later

Cameron
dashed into Patti’s place after using the key she’d given him. The engagement
ring in its little velvet box made a bump in his jeans pocket. He grinned.
Usually it’s my cock straining at the
zipper. I know she loves me. I love her. We fit together so well. I hope this ring
fits. I hope she says yes.

He
patted the ring, and the big flat box under his arm threatened to slip down
onto the floor. He strode into the bedroom and flipped it onto the bed. If he
hurried, he could deal with the flowers. He pulled the duvet over the box and
headed out of the bedroom. In the kitchen, he jammed the bunch of pink roses
bought in the city flower shop near his office into a vase and added water. Then
he set them down on the coffee table in the living room and spun around as the
door lock clicked and opened.
Patti’s home.

There
was a dull thud as Patti dropped her bag in the hall and then she was facing
him.

“Cameron,
you’re early. Is anything wrong?”

He
went to her. “Not a thing. I thought that maybe we could go out for dinner.
Blake and Amanda have a table booked for seven-thirty.”

She
went into his arms, tilting her face for a kiss.
“Sounds
good.
Is it a special occasion for them?”

Cameron
savored her lips on his. “Mmm, we just thought it would be great to have dinner
and go on to The Club.”

Patti’s
voice held a wistful tone as she gazed into his eyes. “Amanda will wear her
collar I guess.”

He
considered her expression and smiled softly. “They went through a ceremony and
it’s a sort of marriage for them.”

Patti
looked downcast.

Cameron
brought her face up with a gentle finger under her chin. “What’s wrong?”

“That’s
so special I feel a twinge of envy.” She didn’t move her face but lowered her gaze.

He
kissed her again. “I had a different kind of ceremony in mind for us.” Cameron
pulled away from her. “Marry me, Patti.” He pulled the velvet box from his pocket
and offered it to her.

She
stared at it for a half a minute and then she took it.

Cameron
watched intently as she opened the box and took out the ring. He’d chosen a
single, but huge diamond in white gold, having taken a silver ring from her
jewelry box to the jeweler for sizing. He ran his knuckle over his lips
thoughtfully as Patti slowly dislodged the ring from the groove holding it and
slipped it on—then she took it off.

He
gasped. “What, it doesn’t fit? You don’t like it? What?”

She
held the ring out to him. “No,
it’s
lovely … it’s
perfect. I want to marry you, so much. You put it on for me … please.” Her
words jumbled and she leaned into him.

Cameron
took the ring and put it on her wedding band finger. He hugged her and then
shook his head.

“Patti,
you took your time telling me. I thought maybe you were about to refuse. I
reckon you deserve a spanking for scaring me.”

She
cuddled close to him. “Just the thought makes me wet … as you know. Hey
flowers, too.” She leaned over his arm as she spied the roses. “They’re
gorgeous. Cameron, thank you.”

He
bent his head to hers to kiss her. “We have time before dinner to make you
wet.” He pulled down the zipper on her shift dress as he sucked on her bottom
lip. “I want us to live either in my place or yours all week, instead of this
half and half thing. I don’t have any shirts left at my house. Get your dress
off.”

Patti
pushed her dress off her shoulders and down her hips. She stepped out of it
with a smile.

Cameron
tugged at the front of her bra and brought her closer to him. “Is it a deal?”

She
nodded.
“Yes, Sir.”

He
turned her and pulled down her panties. The sight of her lovely little ass
teased at his senses and his cock jerked. He pulled her down over his knee as
he sat on the edge of the couch. Her pussy already creamed and he slipped his
fingers along under her folds. “You’re so sexy and so delicious,” he whispered
and gave her a light smack across the soft part of her ass. “And one for
calling me sir,” he added, as he slapped again. He smoothed his palm over the
place he’d smacked, and a sigh of pleasure at the softness of her skin escaped
him. He pushed a finger into her pussy from behind and he bent to place a kiss
on her back.

Her
cream slid on his finger. The need for his cock sliding into that tight, wet
place sent him reeling. He set her on her feet and pulled her panties off.

Patti’s
eyes looked dreamy as she gazed at him. “Could we just fuck here?”

Cameron
stood to drag his jeans down and then sat again and grabbed her hips. He helped
her straddle him. A long groan of pleasure tore from him as her pussy slowly
enveloped his erection. He pumped her on his cock until they were both covered
in a film of moisture. A trickle ran down between Patti’s breasts pressed
together enticingly in her bra. Cameron swooped on it with his tongue and
licked up to her lips. He found her clit with a fingertip to circle and press
as he kissed her.

Patti
rocked on his cock, her arms clamped around his neck. She gasped as she came
and moaned as she milked his cock.

Cameron
held her tight until he knew she’d finished and then he clasped her to his
body, and rolled with her so that she lay beneath him. With long, slow, thrusts
of his cock, he murmured as the delicious sensations of his balls lifting and
the waves of orgasm flowed over him.

He
breathed against her ear.

Patti
pressed her face closer. “I do so love you.” She held him, trailing her
fingertips over his back muscles. “I need a shower before we head out. Not with
you though, or we’ll never get out.”

Cameron
smiled. “That’s probably true.” He eased his cock from her and stood carefully
before extending a hand to help Patti up. “Is it okay if I shower first? I’m
quicker.” Without waiting for an answer, he dragged his jeans up and stalked
into the bedroom.

“We
have two bathrooms.” Patti’s words reached him as he dashed into the ensuite.

Cameron
couldn’t stop smiling as he showered. He ran a hand over his jaw and decided
the shade of stubble was fine. He wrapped a towel around his waist before
walking into the bedroom.

Patti
was leafing through her dresses on the rail in the closet. “What are you going
to wear, Cameron?”

He
went to her and kissed her bare shoulder.
“The suit hanging
in the spare bedroom.”

She
swung around to face him. “Not that charcoal gray suit … it’s so smart and I
forgot I’ve taken my best dresses to the cleaners.”

Cameron
frowned and then smiled. “It’s the only suit I have here. See, this is why we
need to move into one place together, preferably mine … it’s bigger.” He kissed
her on the end of her nose. “Wear the green one.”

Patti
looked puzzled. “I don’t have a green dress.”

Cameron
feigned drying his shoulders even though they were already dried. “How about
you go in the shower and I’ll find it for you. It’s getting late.” He put a
hand on her waist to hurry her along.

She
grinned at him as she scooted off. “There isn’t a green dress, but find me
something.”

Cameron
waited until he heard the rush of water before he leapt to the bed and pulled
out the flat box he’d brought in earlier. He took out the Rhonda Starr dress
that Blake had discovered Patti coveted, shook it, and put it on a free hanger
in Patti’s closet.

He
took the box with him and went along the hall to the bedroom where he left his
clothes when he stayed with Patti. There was a clean blue shirt that matched
his eyes to go with the gray suit and he dressed happily. He checked his tie in
the mirror before he slipped on the suit jacket and went to check on Patti.

She
must have hurried because the soft hum of her hairdryer sounded in the bedroom.

Cameron
sat on the little chair by the door and crossed his long legs. “You look
gorgeous. You always look gorgeous.”

Patti
brushed her thick blonde bob. “Thank you. Did you find me something to wear?”
She lined her eyes with dark kohl and slicked on lip-gloss.

Cameron
went to her. He traced a finger down the peachy skin of her face. “I still like
the green one.”

Patti
brushed a sweep of black mascara on her lashes. She gave him a look full of
amusement and then walked past him to the closet. “There is no green one, oh …
Cameron, what’s this …?” She took the dress he’d placed there out of the closet
and spun around to him.

She
held it up to her body. “It’s the one from the photo shoot! I love this dress.
How did you know I wanted it?” She ran to him and stood on tiptoe to kiss him.

Cameron
took the kiss. “Put it on. It’s not the actual one at the shoot. This one is in
your size. Blake had his eye on a black dress for Amanda from the collection
and the model told him you like this green one, so he told me when we got
together, and here we are.”

Patti
dropped the towel she had around her and slipped the dress over her head. She turned
for Cameron to do up the zip. She swirled in front of him. “It’s lovely.”

Cameron
smiled and bent to whisper in her ear. “You’re lovely, and I love you. You do
realize you’re naked under it?” He grinned mischievously as he drew away.

She
made a move toward her chest of drawers where she kept her lingerie.

Cameron
caught her wrist. “I like it that way.”

They
walked along hand in hand on the sparkly paved sidewalk. The mid-summer breeze
caressed Patti’s bare shoulders and ruffled the green dress around her thighs.
She pressed it down with her free hand and caught a glimpse of the diamond ring
on her finger. A glow of happiness waved over her.

Cameron
let go of her hand and slid his arm around her shoulders. He kissed her cheek.

“Let’s
make it a Christmas wedding.”

Patti
put her arm around his waist and snuggled against him.
“Yes,
Sir.”
