This rational thinking of course did not derail Susan’s enthusiasm and she continued to pester me at every opportunity. I must admit that her tenacity was starting to wear me down.

The more books that I read the more intrigued I became.

Working as the Vice President of Marketing for a major clothing manufacturer meant that I was constantly the one in the drivers seat.

I found myself having to make every decision and suffer every consequence of those decisions.

The ninety hours work weeks were crushing.

I would wake up at four in the morning and start to answer my emails.

By the time I called mercy which was usually around midnight my body and mind were fried.

Getting into bed my sleep was never sound as I tossed and turned thinking about all the tasks I did not get accomplished and about what hell I would be catching from the President of the company tomorrow.

The idea of shedding all the responsibility and giving someone else complete power over my life seemed very attractive.

The idea that someone would make my decisions for me and that I only needed to comply with their instructions sounded like a pretty awesome experience.

Then of course my mind clarified that in the case of BDSM those instructions often involved painful submission.

I had always enjoyed guys being a little rough in the bedroom but I had never experienced the stuff I read about in my books.

Still, the thought did not sound completely unappetizing.

The experiences of the women in these books definitely got my engine going but I wondered if the real life experience would be as pleasurable as the fantasy of it.

With my will power waning I decided to put the pressure back on Susan.

“Alright I will make you a deal.

If you can find a way to get us into The Club then I will go with you.

It must be that club and I will not bend on this point.

If you do find a way in then I will go with you although I make no promises about what I will do once inside.

Deal?”

“Deal” she said enthusiastically reaching out to shake my hand in consummation.

“This is going to be amazing Kelly, you’ll see.”

I didn’t believe that I would ever have to find out just how amazing it was.

Susan was not exactly a well-connected person with the elite of New York and I figured that I had effectively put the issue to bed.
