“If I were you, Cheri,” she said, “I’d tell the
truth.

Then I’d submit my resignation
and get as far away from Vegas as my lame little lies can take me.”

Tears began to appear in Cheri’s eyes.

“This can’t be happening.”

“Tell me the truth, Cheri,” Trina insisted.

“You already know the truth!” Cheri shot back.

“You know it didn’t happen.

That’s why you’re sitting next to him
now.

You let me make a fool out of
myself because you’re an asshole just like he is!”

“Why did you lie?” Trina asked.

Cheri frowned.

“Why did I lie?

Why do you
think?

Because I wanted to fuck him, you
idiot!

But he woke up!”

Trina smiled.

“So that’s the bottom line?

You
risked your entire career over a little dick?”

“Little?” Reno said, taking offense.

“Not the size,” Trina corrected.

When he smiled, she hit him.

“Oh, forget you!”

Then she looked at Cheri.

Cheri dripped with bitterness.

She wanted to shoot both of their laughing
asses.

“It’s funny to y’all?” she asked
Trina.

“I’m dying here and you think
it’s funny?”

“I didn’t do this to you,” Trina pointed out.

“I didn’t try to rape my boss’s husband!”

“Rape?”
Cheri asked.
“Please.

I don’t have to rape anybody,
okay?

Men beg me because I know how to
put it on a man better than you ever would.”

“Ha!”

Reno said
with a laugh.

“In your wildest fucking
dreams, lady!” he added.

Cheri almost zapped him back, but she remembered the
fix she was in and felt defeated again.

“You were trying to fuck my husband,” Trina went
on.

“But by trying to fuck with him,
Cheri, you just fucked yourself.”

Cheri looked at Reno.

“What do I have to do?

I told her
the truth.

What do I have to do now?”

“You will go downstairs and submit your resignation.”

“Done,” Cheri said.

She was in survival mode now.

“Then my people, who are waiting downstairs, will
escort you out of Vegas.”

“But I have to go home first and---”

“No.

You go
anywhere near that house, and I call the cops.

You don’t know where those drugs were planted, but they do.”

“Okay,” Cheri said anxiously.

“I’ll leave town.”

Reno nodded.

“Then I suggest you get to it.

My
men are waiting downstairs to accept your resignation, and then to escort you
out of town.

You don’t go back to your
house to get shit.

You just get out and
get out now.

And if I hear any talk of
you telling any more of your tall tales about me, then I’ll pull another rabbit
out of your ass.

Do we understand each
other, Miss Dallas?”

Cheri nodded her head.

“Yes,” she said reluctantly.

“I understand.”

“Then get the fuck out of my face.”

Reno said this with such heartlessness that
Cheri shivered.

But then
she

left
.

Trina folded her arms.

“I don’t know, Reno,” she said
worriedly.

“What’s to stop her from
going to another town and tell the authorities there that you raped her?”

“She won’t do that.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Because she’s not crazy.”

“She was crazy enough to try it in the first
place.”

Then Trina shook her head.

“She’s just like Dirty.

I don’t know what gets into these people’s
heads.

It’s as if they think they’re
dealing with a chump.”

Reno snorted.

“Yeah, I got their chump right here,” he said, dialing his cell phone.

Trina, however, stopped him.

“What are you doing, Ree?

You’re going to tell the cops to raid her
house anyway and let them find those drugs anyway?”

“Damn right I am!

She’ll be out of Vegas in a few hours and I’m going to tell the cops to
go in then.

In a few
hours.

And by nightfall she’ll be
a fugitive from justice.”

Trina was astounded.

“But why would you go through with it?”

“Why do you think?

And don’t look at me like that! I told you I’m not playing with these
fuckers anymore.

They want to fuck with
me then I’m fucking them back!

I’m tired
of this shit, Tree.

I’m tired of playing
these games with these people.

I could
have lost you behind her bullshit!”

Trina rubbed his arm.

She fully understood his anger.

It had angered her, too.

She
dropped her objections.

On his cell phone, Reno told the cops to wait two
hours and then raid Cheri’s house.

He
told them where to look when they raided it.

And then he killed the call.

Trina was staring at him the entire time.

After he tossed his cell phone onto his desk,
she smiled.

“So,” she said, nodding her
head, “does this mean Reno’s back?”

Reno smiled, too.

“Like a motherfucker,” he said, and then took her by the hand.

“Now come on.”

He began escorting her out of his office.

“Where are we going?”

“All of this sex talk has made me awfully horny.”

“Reno, when are you not horny?”

“Whenever I’m not with you.

Which, fortunately for us,
this isn’t one of those times.

Come on.”

And he all but ran her upstairs with him.

As soon as the door of the penthouse closed, he
leaned her against it and began kissing her passionately.

Her back was to the door as all of his hunger
for her came pouring out.

His mouth couldn’t
get enough of her mouth and then his mouth slipped down her neck as he
unbuttoned her shirt to reveal her breasts.

And he had himself another feast, sucking on them and
kissing them and taking his hand and caressing them.

He looked Trina in her eyes.

“I love you so much,” he said, as he fondled
her.

“There’s no other woman I could
ever want more than I want you.”

Trina smiled.

“I know,” she said, and kissed him.

Soon, he was kissing her again.

And his passion was hot and heavy again.

In the kitchen inside the penthouse, Jimmy Mack was
putting the mayo back into the Frig.

He
had come over, on his lunch break, to check on his parents.

But neither one of them had been at
home.

So he went into the kitchen and
prepared himself a sandwich.

He had no
idea that Reno and Trina had returned until he took a big bite of his sandwich
and headed out of the kitchen.

He
rounded the corridor, walked through the dining room, and entered the living
area.

He stopped in his tracks when he saw his father, with
Trina against the door, fucking the shit out of her.

Her legs were being held up by Reno, Reno’s
pants and briefs were down to his ankles, and he was pumping Trina so hard that
his ass was shaking.

Jimmy Mack immediately turned back around, and hurried
back into the kitchen.

He leaned against the kitchen door stunned by what
he’d just witnessed.

But then he
smiled.

He had thought his parents might
be on their way to divorce court after their big fight last night.

Now it was looking more like paradise
again.

Which pleased
him.

It pleased him
mightily.

He looked up, and then he pointed up.

“Thanks,” he said, relieved, and found his
way out of the penthouse’s back side exit.

CHAPTER TEN

Christmas morning turned out to be a warm December
day and Jimmy Mack couldn’t believe Reno and Tree wouldn’t get on up.

He had their gift waiting for them, and he
was so excited he could hardly contain himself.

But they wouldn’t get up.

He went
to their bedroom door again, peeped in, but they were still asleep.

Jimmy had wanted to wake them up himself, but
he wasn’t that bold.

Besides, his father
worked so many hours that he perhaps hadn’t gone to bed all that long ago and
needed his rest.

So he closed the door,
went back into the living room, and waited.

Not long after, however, Reno did stir awake.

He turned over, saw Trina sleeping beside
him, and smiled.

Remarkably, his smile
seemed to awaken her.

“Good morning,” he said when her stirring stopped and
her big hazel eyes finally opened.

She smiled too.

“Good morning.”

“Merry Christmas, darling.”

“Merry Christmas?”
Trina
asked.

“But where’s my diamonds and furs
and cars?”

Reno laughed.

“Now, Tree, you know that is not the meaning of Christmas.”

“I know.

I
know Jesus is the reason for the season.”

“There ya’ go,” Reno said.

“But if you want any of those things then,
hey, we can talk.”

“Talk?”
Trina asked, playing
with him.

“Why we gotta talk?

Why can’t you just go and get every gift I
named and hand them to me?”

“Because I know you’re playing, that’s why,” Reno
said, pulling her into his arms.

Then he
looked sidelong at her.

“You are
playing, right?”

Trina grinned and pushed him playfully.

“Of course I’m playing, boy!

I have everything I need.”

Reno touched her naked and ever-expanding belly.

“You know I do, Tree.

You know I do.”

And then he leaned over and kissed her.

It was a peck, but then another one
followed.

And then
another one.

And then Trina shook
her head.

Why
did he
have
to do a thing like that, she thought amusingly, as she was certain
what was coming next.

And sure enough, Reno’s kisses to her mouth moved
lower, to her breasts.

And then slowly
but surely he grabbed hold of his dick and began to guide it toward her
entryway.

He rubbed her outer folds and
strummed on her clit.

He did this
repeatedly as he sucked her breasts.

Trina relaxed to his treatment and wrapped her arms around him.

This was what she called an excellent wake up
call.

And then he plunged in.

Ah
,” he
said when he made the plunge.

The feel
of friction whenever he first entered Tree always made him moan.

Trina felt his expansion and moaned too.

And soon they found their rhythm.

Another hour and they were showered, dressed, and
entering the living area.

“It’s about damn time!” Jimmy said, grinning as he
said it.

When they saw Tommy Gabrini,
Reno’s first cousin and best friend, standing by the fireplace, they both
couldn’t believe it.

“Tommy!” Trina said, hurrying to him.

“Merry Christmas!”
Jimmy said, proud of himself.

“You had no clue, did you, Pop?”

“No clue?” Reno asked as he, too, hurried to welcome
Tommy.

He was just standing at the
fireplace grinning, looking so debonair in his yellow cardigan that even Trina,
who had Reno, was impressed.

“Hey, babe,” Tommy said, hugging her.

“How’s my favorite girl?”

Trina knew better than that.

But she smiled just the same.

Reno shook Tommy’s hand, and then hugged him,
too.

“What in the world brings you to
Vegas?” he asked his cousin.

Then he
turned to his son.

“Why didn’t you tell
us Uncle Tommy was here?”

“It would have spoiled the surprise,” Jimmy said.

“What surprise?” Reno asked.

“It appears that the surprise,” Tommy said with a
smile, “is yours truly. I’m your Christmas gift, Reno.”
