Rory quivered with need. Violet pushed him back to lie on the ground. Spreading her legs over top of him, she lowered herself down onto his cock in one long glide. They both groaned. She wasn’t all the way down but she had to be close. She felt so achingly full. Rory spanned her hips with his hands and Violet rested her palms on his chest, leaning forward slightly to ease the pressure on her cervix. She began rocking subtly, just tiny little movements.

Rory stopped her movement with his hands. “Just a minute, babe.”

Violet paused above him and waited patiently. Rory groaned when she started contracting her internal muscles around him, trying to push him toward climax. God, that felt good. His hands were holding her in place but he had no control over what she was doing inside. Clenching down hard, she pulsed around him.

Rory tried hard not to let go but she forced him to the brink. With a roar he pounded himself up inside her, holding her hips tight to him. Violet screamed as she finally absorbed the full length of him into her body. Pain competed with pleasure as she tried to relax and take the pounding, but it was difficult. Rory seemed to know how much he was demanding and he really did try to be gentle, but he was too far beyond stopping. Lifting her up to the very tip of himself, he held her there for several long seconds, just teasing at her entrance before gliding her back down. Violet’s breath eased out of her as her body began accepting him more easily, and the pleasure began to take precedence over the pain. Rory lifted her up and down slowly several more times before pulling her forward to lie on his chest. Bending his legs, he planted his heels in the grass and started pulling her forward and back on his cock.

The new position really began to build her again. Violet bit back a gasp as he deliberately slid over her g-spot. Cupping her head in his big hand, Rory turned her face to his and swallowed her mouth.

Violet had never felt more submissive. With one hand on her hip and the other behind her head, Rory was manipulating everything even though she was on top of him. His hips were not hindered by the ground at all, stroking into her ferociously.

Then, from one moment to the next she was coming again. As she convulsed around him, Rory reached the end of his own rope. Slamming up into her in desperation, he roared out his own completion.

Chapter Six

V
iolet thought she
must have passed out for a few minutes from the pleasure. Or maybe her brain was just starved for oxygen from the screaming. She hoped nobody had heard them while they were doing their thing. It had probably sounded like a gruesome murder was taking place.

Rory still cupped her head but he was stroking her hair now. His heart was pounding loudly beneath her ear.

“You okay?” he rumbled.

Violet nodded but she didn’t want to move just yet. He was too comfortable. Normally sex with another person kind of left her with an ick factor. It wasn’t that way with Rory. Not at all. She wanted to stay in this spot for as long as he would let her. Even knowing her ass was hanging out in the air for anybody to see she wanted to stay right here.

Rory was the first to shift, so, with a sigh, she pulled away from his cock. She rolled to the ground beside him, totally boneless. She was replete. Completely satisfied. Never before had she been so consumed, so completely overwhelmed.

“I think I’ve died and gone to heaven,” she whispered.

Rory chuckled. “I think we’ve both died then, because I’m the same way.”

Violet eventually levered herself up and walked to the stream. Wading in, she cupped water to wash her thighs and between her legs.

Rory was on his feet all tucked in and proper when she waded out. Violet had the fleeting thought that it was such a waste to cover such an exceptional body. Slicking her hands down over her butt and thighs, she tried to remove as much moisture as possible before pulling on her panties. The tight jeans would have to wait for a minute till she was completely dry.

“What is Alessandro going to say about this?” she asked.

Rory looked toward the parking area even though the view was obscured. The harsh angles of his face softened.

“I think he’ll be fine with this. He knows…more than the average human about the Fae. He understands we are more elemental, more organic. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had something a little supernatural in his background as well.”

Violet crossed her arms over her belly. “Even if he does, you don’t think his feelings will be hurt?”

Shaking his head Rory straightened his shirt, brushing some grass off his pants. “A little bit, maybe. But I will make it up to him.”

Violet was envious of the look she saw cross his face. It was eagerness and love. How would it feel to be so secure in a relationship? She couldn’t even keep anything going for more than a few months. A few hours…

“Okay,” she said doubtfully. “If you say so.”

Reaching down for her jeans, Violet gasped in surprise. Wildflowers had popped up on the grass where they had been making love. They were all over. There was an especially heavy patch where Rory had ejaculated.

“Oh my god,” she murmured.

Rory was grinning like he had known it was going to happen.

“How did it do that?” she demanded.

Kneeling, he ran his hand over a copse of bluebells.

“Well, this is a magic node. And when two Fae beings such as ourselves get together in this particular spot,” he motioned to the grass ring all around them, “the magic is happy—satisfied, I guess you can say. What we did here helps replenish the magic, too.”

Violet shook her head in wonder, pushing her hair behind her ears. She couldn’t believe how things had changed in the past twelve hours. The basic understanding of who she was had been altered. Hell, it was completely being renovated. She had always known there were unexplainable things in the world, ghosts and spirits and such, but she had never imagined being part of it.

Rory looked like a Fae being just because he had the looks.

“I thought Fae had pointy ears and stuff?”

Laughing, he nodded his head. “Many years ago they did.”

Violet frowned, kind of unhappy with the answer. Tugging on her jeans, she tried not to trample the budding flowers, but they seemed to be growing under her feet even as she watched. Snatching up her tennis shoes, she stepped out of the ring to bend down and put them on.

“Violet, how does your hand feel?”

“What?”

Rory repeated his question but she didn’t hear him—she was already pulling the gauze off her hand. It wasn’t aching at all. When she tied her shoes she noticed it wasn’t feeling too bad. She couldn’t even really feel the cut. As the pad over her stitches fell away she reeled in surprise. The cut was gone. The stitches were gone. All that was left was a faint scar where the cut had been.

Lifting a hand to her face, she felt her right cheekbone. The swelling was gone. Looking to Rory, she silently asked a question.

“Almost all the bruising is gone,” he confirmed. “You still have a bit of a shiner, but it’s much better.”

Alessandro was leaning against the side of the car when she plunged out of the woods. He moved aside obligingly as she went to the car’s side mirrors where she looked for the evidence herself.

The bruising was gone. There was a mark at the corner of her eye and a sweep of purple underneath but even that was pretty faint.

Her lips compressed at the irrefutable proof. She had to believe what was in front of her own eyes.

Alessandro was looking at them curiously, one sleek dark eyebrow raised in question.

Rory filled in the blanks.

“Violet is learning the healing properties of the node.”

The Italian nodded in understanding. “It blows the mind, yes?”

“Yes,” she agreed quietly. “I’ve always been a fast healer, but nothing like this.”

Tentatively he rested one arm on her shoulders, pulling her into the crook. He kissed her gently on the head.

“It will be okay,
bella
. I promise.”

Violet crumpled into him, letting him bear her burden for a while. She probably couldn’t decide what to eat for lunch right now if her life depended on it. Too many random thoughts bouncing around in her head. It felt good having a man around. Or two, she thought, unable to keep a smile off her face.

Rory drove them back to the garage. Alessandro had insisted she sit on his lap for the return trip and she had to admit it was enjoyable. Violet had tried to tell him she was too big to be on top of him that long but it worked out surprisingly well. He was erect under the crack of her ass the entire way home, and if she accidentally wiggled a bit too much going over bumps he didn’t say anything. With her arm braced against the dash in front of her, the position was suggestive to say the least.

Where the energy came from to even have a tingle of desire she did not know. Rory should have satisfied her for the next week.

Alessandro was surprisingly quiet though. With the bulge underneath her there was no doubt he was turned on, but he kept his gaze determinedly on the terrain around them. Violet found herself worried at his lack of chatter. Maybe his feelings
were
hurt.

But his silence gave her a chance to think about what had happened at the stream. Rory had rocked her world, both literally and figuratively. And she didn’t know what to think about the Fae thing. The stories Grandad had told her had only been fairytales she had thought. Pulling down the passenger side sun visor, she looked at her face again. There was some shading around her eye but the major trauma was gone. How did she explain that? What else could have sped her recovery that way? Certainly nothing that she knew of.

Turning her head she looked at Rory. Watching his knees rise as he shifted, she conceded that he did have the height usually mentioned with the Fae. And he was definitely good looking. A breeze from his opened window ruffled the hair on his head. Red hair. Was that a Fae characteristic? The green eyes definitely were. That thought stopped her cold.

She had green eyes.

And she was tall. Grandad had had red hair when he was younger. And bright green eyes just like her own.

Disquiet burned through her. All the little details were adding up to one crazy story.

The only thing she did know was that these two men were the sexiest beings she had ever come across. And she planned to take advantage of them however long they planned to be in town.

The garage looked pretty sad when they pulled in the lot. The Ferrari was so out of place sitting next to the beat up four-wheel drive Ford and the faded blue Tempo waiting for pick-up. There was an unfamiliar green Cherokee sitting in front of the garage doors. That must be Fryman’s hesitation issue. She hoped they remembered to put the keys in the drop-box before they left. It would be a bitch to have the bay blocked off like that for too long.

She tried to look at the business through Rory and Alessandro’s eyes. It had to look sad. Period. Hell, Pickerington had to look sad compared to St. Louis. After Grandad died, she had tried to clean the place up, taking excess metal to the junkyard and repaving the lot, but it still looked…unkempt. Sad.

Resignation rolled over her. She was proud to have inherited the business, but was this what she really wanted for the rest of her life? A loud and resounding
no
pounded through her.

What was St. Louis like?

Rory was looking at her a little oddly. The car was parked and the heat was beginning to rise. She could feel color creep up her neck. “Sorry.”

She scrambled out of the open door, leaving Alessandro’s lap. Unable to help herself, she glanced back at his pants. Yep, still had a monster boner.

Violet was not surprised when her legs glided smoothly against each other, her wetness soaking through to her panties. The tingle in her lower stomach told her she was maybe not as satisfied as she could be.

Thoughts of stripping them down and actually seeing them in the daylight together had her damn near panting. She’d just had the most incredible sex ever, had not even an hour ago, and she wanted more. What a needy thing they were turning her into.

Unlocking the front door she waved the men in, but Alessandro held back. He prodded at the pavement with the toe of his loafer.

“I think,
bella
, I will go for a little walk.”

Violet watched as the normally effervescent Italian walked across the lot, head held straight. She looked to Rory in distress.

The big man had the wrap-around shades on again but his lips were pursed in concern. Pushing the shades back on his head with a thick finger, he looked down at her. “I don’t want to…”

“Hurt him, I know,” she finished.

His eyes widened in surprise. But he smiled gently and nodded his head.

“I don’t want to hurt him either, Rory. I have no idea where this…situation is going, but wherever it goes, nobody needs to be hurt because of it. If it’s not good for everybody we need to go our separate ways.”

Some fierce emotion slid through his eyes before he nodded his head again. Violet would like to think it was defiance at never seeing her again, but she couldn’t put money on it. The idea of never seeing the two of them again saddened her beyond belief. Heat in her eyes told her if she wasn’t careful she would be crying her eyes out in no time flat.
