Dakota lifted his chin at her and everyone else,
grinned, and headed over to the keg. Alexis looked down at the green box and
opened the lid. Inside was this green circular item. She picked it up and felt
the smooth, velvety texture of it. Alexis didn’t know what LELO was, but what
she did know was that what she held was a cock-ring, and a pretty expensive one
at that.

“What the fuck is that?”
Nico
asked, picking it up from the center of her palm, and holding it up so he could
look through the opening of it.

“Man, that is a cock-ring at its finest,” Lucas
said, chuckled, and elbowed Cain in the ribs.

Nico
turned the ring around in his hand and cocked one eyebrow. “You needed to get
the magnum size, because
ain’t
no
way this is going to fit around my dick.”

Lucas and the other guys started chuckling.

“Here, I picked this one out just for you,”
Tarren
said, grinning like she was up to something.

Alexis took the box out of her hands, opened it, and
stared at some kind of monstrosity. “What the hell is this,
Tarren
?”
She set the box down, and took out the dildo that didn’t really look like a
dildo at all, but that was clearly what it was.

“Girl, have you never been to Bad Dragon labs?”
Tarren
grabbed the dildo and shook it in her face. The
thing was huge, like so big Alexis felt her vagina try to close up on
itself
. “This bad boy is called the Gryphon, shaped like the
mythical beast’s … junk.”
Tarren
grinned after she
said that. “And it’s something that would put
Nico
into a jealous fit.” She turned and smacked
Nico
on
the cheek with the black beast, and Alexis’s biker smacked the thing away. He
scowled and took a drink of his beer, but Alexis could see the amusement on his
face.

“Fuck, that thing doesn’t have anything on the beast
between my legs.”

Tarren
rolled her eyes at Lucas’s comment, and the other guys started laughing.

“You wish.” Tawny was the one to speak, and everyone
started laughing harder at what
Tarren’s
younger
sister said.

“Okay, enough with the sex toys and the male envy. How
about we really party and get drunk?”
Tarren
called
out, and everyone raised their voices in agreement. She set the black and oddly
shaped behemoth dildo on the table and pulled Alexis over to the keg. “Time to
get trashed before these guys
start
talking about how
much bigger and thicker their cocks are compared to the Gryphon,”
Tarren
said in a low voice.

Alexis started laughing, and glanced over at the
table where the guys were currently examining the dildo like it was some kind
of science experiment. She could just imagine what
Nico
was saying as he placed the dildo on his crotch and started doing thrusting
motions. God, she loved him, even if he was an immature asshole. He turned and
stared at her, as if he heard her, and made a lewd gesture with the dick still
on his crotch.

“I love you, baby.” He winked and mouthed the words,
and she knew he did, with his whole heart.

Chapter
Ten

A year later:
The wedding

Alexis
couldn’t believe the day had finally come. Here she
stood, in the tent that had been erected for her and her bridesmaids to dress
in, staring at herself in one of those full length mirrors that was on a pedestal.
She smoothed her hands down her wedding dress, and couldn’t help the goofy grin
that covered her face. This was actually happening, and she was about to marry
her childhood sweetheart.

“You
look lovely, Alexis,”
Tarren
said and moved up right
behind her.

“Thank
you, but I’m scared shitless.” Alexis made this awkward laugh, and let her gaze
travel up and down her dress. She didn’t go for the typical all white wedding
gown, and not because she wasn’t a virgin anymore. Her dress was a mermaid
style floor length gown with silk and organza detail. The bodice was black lace
that extended down to her knees, and then the bottom billowed out in gorgeous
white silk. But she was excited about the dress she would wear at the
reception, because it had a little extra detail that she hoped would ensure
Nico’s
eyes would pop.

“I’m
sure everyone is, girl.”
Tarren
moved away and looked
at Alexis’s back. “But the dress is beautiful, the wedding and reception will
go off without drama—”

“You
might have spoken too soon on that.” They both started laughing.

“Okay,
you’re right, but it will go off with minimal drama. I mean there are so many
bikers out there waiting to see you marry
Nico
that
it isn’t even funny. If someone wanted to fuck with you on your day they’d be
the stupidest asshole around.”

Alexis
nodded and turned around to see the back of the dress. She moved the long fall
of hair over one shoulder. A gorgeous white silk bow was tied delicately right
under her shoulder blades. She left her hair down purposefully since
Nico
had asked her to just for him, and had even grown it
out. It fell to the middle of her back now, and her hairdresser had put tiny
crystals and baby’s breath sporadically throughout the strands. It looked
delicate and intricate, but in reality had been done in only a few minutes. And
then there was the tiny row of crystals that made a subtle headband over the
crown of her head where her veil would be attached. She closed her eyes for a
moment and just breathed. “I just need to get past my nerves trying to take
over. I am dreading walking down the aisle and everyone staring at me.”

“Hey,
you’ll have a veil covering your face, so just close your eyes and let your dad
lead the way.”

She
chuckled at what
Tarren
said, but there was this
strange tone in her friend’s voice that had Alexis opening her eyes and turning
to face her maid of honor. “
Tarren
, what’s wrong?”

Her
friend tried to look strong, but after a few seconds of Alexis staring at her,
Tarren
became on the verge of tears. The rest of her bridesmaids
all stopped primping and turned to look at them. But Alexis didn’t have to ask
them to leave, and instead they left silently and gave them a few moments of
privacy.

“Honey,
what’s wrong?” Alexis gestured for
Tarren
to sit on
one of the chairs by the vanities that had been set up for the girls to get
ready.
Tarren
was crying heavily now, and also threw
in a little curse.

“I’m
fucking up my make-up, dammit.” She gave a watery laugh and looked up at
Alexis.

Alexis
grabbed a tissue and fixed the smeared mascara under
Tarren’s
eyes. “All better. Now, tell me what’s wrong.” She grabbed a chair and sat in
front of
Tarren
. “Tell me.” It took her friend a
minute to compose herself, but then she sighed and wiped the rest of the
wetness off her cheeks, she stared at Alexis.

“I’m
just hormonal and bloated, and feel so lost at the moment.”

“Oh,
Tarren
.”
Alexis reached out and took her hand.
“You got your period?” She tried to sound teasing, like getting her period was
a life or death experience, and although
Tarren
smiled she didn’t laugh. “It isn’t that bitch Red again, is it? ‘Cause I’ll
tell you, I’m not above ripping out her cheap hair extensions on my wedding
day.”

Tarren
shook her head,
and the smile Alexis wore slowly faded as she realized this was a big issue,
and not something that had to do with that cunt Red.
Tarren
had eventually spoken to Lucas about wanting more than just the random hookup,
and although Alexis didn’t know everything because that was
Tarren’s
story in life, she knew enough that
Tarren
had kicked
Red’s ass when she tried to make another go at being with Lucas after he and
Tarren
had become exclusive. But Lucas hadn’t taken the
bait of that slut, and after a good ass kicking by
Tarren
to Red less than a year ago, the two had been closer than she ever thought
possible.

Tarren
shook her head.
“No, that tramp would have to be the dumbest bitch alive if she came back to
the clubhouse after I kicked her ass, and after she was thrown out by The
Grizzlies and Lucas.”
Tarren
sat up straighter and stared
right into Alexis’s eyes. “I’m feeling fat and hormonal, and crying for no damn
reason because…” She took a deep breath and for a second just stared at Alexis
before speaking again. “I’m pregnant.”

Everything
stilled around Alexis as she let those words sink in. “You and Lucas are going
to have a baby?” She could hear the shock in her voice.

Tarren
swallowed
audibly and nodded again. “Yeah, crazy shit, huh?” She didn’t give Alexis time
to respond. “I found out last week, and made an appointment with the doctor
when it had settled in. I wanted to make sure it was real before I started
announcing it, and that’s why I didn’t tell you right way.”

“Well
…wow,
Tarren
. Congrats?” She left that last part on a
question because she wasn’t sure if
Tarren
was happy
about this or not. And then she smiled, big and brilliant, and Alexis knew her
friend was happy.

“Yes,
I’m happy. I mean I was so damn scared at first, worried about what everyone
would say, and what Lucas would say.” She exhaled roughly. “I didn’t know if I
could be a mom at twenty-three. But I told Lucas, and he was happy.”

“I
am so happy for you,
Tarren
, and you’ll be a
fantastic, kick-ass mom.” They both laughed. Alexis stood, and they both
hugged. “No more crying or we won’t be able to fix your make-up in time.”

Tarren
chuckled, and
then pulled away. “I know, and I don’t want to be the chick wearing this
gorgeous dress with raccoon eyes walking down the aisle.” They hugged once
more.

“Have
you told your parents yet?”

Tarren
grimaced. “Are
you kidding? My dad will flip for sure.”

Yeah,
Dallas would probably lose his shit, but Alexis had a feeling that the biker
would actually be happy for his daughter. Alexis knew enough that the man had
lost
a son years
before
Tarren
was even born, and because of that any new life was a blessing. “I think your
dad might be a little more accepting than you even realize.”

Tarren
smiled and
nodded. “I hope, and I kind of think he might be. He loves children, and a
grandchild?” Her smile widened. “Yeah, I think he might not have an aneurysm
when I tell him.”

Tarren
, Alexis, it’s time to start.” Molly poked her head
through the opening in the tent and smiled. “You ready?” Molly asked Alexis.

“As
ready as I will ever be I guess.” She gave
Tarren
one
more hug, and she took a step back and watched
Tarren
leave the tent to join the rest of the bridesmaids.

Ten
minutes later and Alexis was standing at the end of the aisle and staring at
everyone that had joined in the celebration. There were so many Harleys lined
up on the side that it looked like some kind of biker show. There were over
one-hundred guests in attendance, and the majority of them were Grizzly MC
members. Many of the bikers came from all over the country to be here with them
today, and all of them had on their dark sunglasses and leather Grizzly MC
cuts. They stood on the outer side of the chairs that the rest of the guests
were sitting in. Seeing all those bear shifting bikers framing the aisle had
this warm, protected feeling surrounding her. She didn’t know the majority of
them, but that didn’t matter. The Grizzlies were one huge extended family. But
it wasn’t just The Grizzlies that had showed up, but The Brothers of Menace
from River Run, too. Malice and Lucien were in attendance, and Dakota sat
beside his father. The other members of The Brothers of Menace all sat beside
their President. She also noticed that Dakota was single at the wedding, and
she couldn’t help wondering what had happened to the girl he had been dating.
More than likely she hadn’t been able to handle the hard, rough life the biker
lived.

Lucas,
Cain, Mason,
Jakob
, Bodhi, Odin, and Ben all stood in
a line beside
Nico
. But none of them wore the
standard penguin suits to this biker wedding. They might have on the black tux
pants and white dress shirts. They had left the first few buttons undone at the
collars, didn’t have ties on, and had their Grizzly MC cuts on—the ones that
were patched in members did, at least. Ben was still a prospect, and Odin
wasn’t even in the club but in school, but they still wore black leather vests
so they matched with the rest of the guys. And then there were her girls
standing on the opposite side.
Tarren
, Tawny, and
Lina were the first three, and although she had friends from school, she wasn’t
close enough with anyone that she would have invited to be in her wedding
party. She smiled at
Tarren
even though she knew she
couldn’t possibly see the gesture, and not because Alexis wore a veil over her
face.
Tarren
was staring at Lucas, who in turn was
staring at her with this goofy smile on his face. Yeah, Alexis knew things
between those two would work out, even if they were like oil and water at times
with each other.
