Cece let go of Becky and just like that everything was fine. He kissed her hair and released her to her friends who went on and on about God knows what. He wanted to stay, but when the subject of sex came up, all the men seemed to take leave, pulling him along to the bar.

“So, Greyson, what did you do before you owned the bar,” Dmitri asked as he got Sam to get them some beers, plus a sprite for Becky, and some fruity drinks, he assumed were for Millie and Cece. They made small talk at the bar and let the girls have their little girl talk.

Cece watched the bar as all the men left them to sit and talk.

“So what are they like in bed? I know they are bears and such, but ya know,” Millie wiggled her eyebrows suggestively making her blush.

“Well, I, umm, I don’t know.”

“Honey, what do you mean, you guys haven’t had sex yet? Okay I see that, hell, Millie took forever to sleep with her men, and I didn’t exactly sleep with my men right away either. Sometimes the wait is worth it. But I am positive it will be the best sex you have ever had.”

Feeling the red rise on her face, knowing it was probably the same color as her hair, she started, “Well I don’t know about that, I never had sex before.”

“WHAT?” shouted Millie, making several heads turn their direction.

“Well, how could I. I mean think about it, Millie, I was a nerd, and you know with Billy and such…” She didn’t need to finish the statement because they both seemed to understand what she meant.

“Oh, Cece, I’m so sorry, you will never know how much. But let me just say when you do take the plunge, it will be amazing. Both men seem to really care about you and they are your mates. Just be your wonderful self and let them take care of everything, and you. You deserve to be happy.” Cece smiled and then the whole conversation moved on as the men returned with drinks. She smiled when Dmitri remembered she liked Amaretto Sours. Grey kissed the top of her head before saying he needed to finish some work.

As the night wore on Becky started to get tired and they took her home, and then Millie followed suite stating they would call her tomorrow. Not one for sitting alone at the bar she took her drink that Sam had made her and headed into the office. At first she was going to work, but then the couch looked so comfy. Curling up in the corner, Cece rested her head back and before she realized it, she was asleep.

“Yeah, boss, I see her,” the lackey stated.

“Is she alone?” He wanted her, but he didn’t want to deal with others right now.

"No, she isn’t alone. She had a bunch of people around her but they just left and she headed to the back of the bar. Should I follow?”

He thought about this, and even though it was good to get her alone, he could almost guarantee she was being watched if she walked back on her own.

“No, not tonight. I will call when it’s time to grab the dumb bitch. Don’t blow your cover.” The man agreed and then hung up.

Billy looked out the small window of the cabin he was squatting in. He wanted her, no he needed her, or the Master would kill him, and that just wasn’t something he wanted to do. He needed her to get comfortable in her surroundings before he took her. She would let her guard down and would be so much easier to get. Drinking his cheap beer, he went back to his bed to sleep. Tomorrow he needed to figure out her new schedule and then he would be able to get to her.

Chapter Twelve

It had been a week since she had come and lived with him and Greyson and he couldn’t be happier. She would go with them to the bar and her friends would show up and they would talk. Cece even had a sinking feeling Millie was pregnant, and wanted them to start sitting back in the office the last night. He couldn’t help but smile at the way things played out so far. Granted no sex had happen yet, but he and Grey were hoping to remedy that soon.

Tonight was a slow night at the bar and Tina said she had everything covered. Earlier today their new bed had arrived thanks to the extra shipping charges, while Tiny was watching Cece at work on the library. On days like today he was happy because he wanted to ring her boss’s neck, the arrogant prick. Tiny seemed to be able handle him better than he or Grey.

“Hey, Sam, I got everything we need for dinner. You sure this is what Becky said is her favorite?”

“Yup, figured it should be that hard. Hell your mom is only a call away if we get stuck.” Sam stated.

“You’re right, okay fine, let’s start this.”

“It’s not like we are treating anything we haven’t had before. Shit, it’s just Salmon and rice, with some, umm, vegetables.”

“Okay fine, let’s start so when she gets home it’s dinner time.”

They both went to work on wooing their mate. By the time four-thirty rolled around, Sam told Grey to finish the last little bits while he went and picked up Cece from work. With a simple text to Tiny about his arrival and his free night, he parked the truck and headed inside. As he walked into the library he was greeted by Tiny as he pointed to his mate helping someone with a book; however, he didn’t like the way the man was ogling his mate. He had pointed to a book that Cece couldn’t reach and he knew it, but the ass had her stretching to reveal her cream-colored skin that poked out of her shirt and her ass was lifted in her black pencil skirt. She looked amazing. Her new look and the help from the girl had given Cece some of her self-confidence back.

The man was spending way too much time, and it was evident he just wanted to play with
his
librarian. Walking over he smirked as he grabbed the book, “Here, baby girl, let me help you with that.” He passed the book to Cece and she smiled at him, before handing it to the guy.

“Here you are, sir, is there anything else I can help you with?” He wanted to say, no she will not help him with anything, but instead stood behind her with his arms crossed glaring at the little prick. At first he thought he wanted to say something, but then shook his head no and walked away. Cece turned around and smacked him in the arm.

“Dang it, Sam, you can’t do the macho act while I’m at work. We want people to read and feel comfortable here, and you go acting all growly and such. I have a job to do, I thought Tiny was driving me home, why are you here?” Her anger turned to confusion quickly. Not wanting her to be worried, his kissed her lips lightly.

“Nothing is wrong, just wanted to pick my girl up from work that’s all. I stopped by the bar and Tina had the night shift covered. There are some other people coming in. So we thought we would spend the night in.” She smiled and nodded before heading back over to her desk area.

“Okay, that’s fine, let me tell Mr. McDonnell that I am leaving and we can head home.”

He waited outside the small office area that housed her dickhead of a boss, making sure no one came or left without his knowledge. She came walking out smiling with her purse in hand before grabbing his and heading out the door. Taking a deep breath, he hoped they did enough to make everything special for her.

Grey felt like a chicken with his head cut off. The Salmon was in the oven, the rice was in the pot, and he had apple pie cooling on the counter. They made everything but the pie, for that he thanked Becky. Since she had been pregnant she was always baking it seemed and now they were getting the fruits of her labor. His mind wondered at the thought of one day his mate carrying his and Sam’s cubs. She would look amazing. Unable to hide the smile that crept over, him he heard the sound of the gravel outside and knew they were home. He went to the small table they had and lit the candle that sat in the middle with some flowers. He thanked Millie for that help, with her several at home and garden magazines.

“Grey, we’re home,” Sam said as he opened the door. The sound of Cece’s small little heels clicked at the entryway as she walked into the small dining room area.

“Umm, guys, what’s going on?” He watched as she took in the small setting they had made up.

“This, love, is our way of showing how much you mean to us. We made you dinner and thought we could rest and relax and just enjoy each other tonight.” He held out a chair for her to sit, which she did without question.

“Oh, okay, well can I help with anything? I know you guys have been busy all day and such.” She went to stand again, but he pushed her back down by her shoulders, making a point that she was not to get up.

“Stay here and we will be right back with dinner.” Sam walked over to her and handed her a small glass of wine, while he got the food dished up.

Pulling the fish out, he placed them on three plates along with the other items. He did his best to try to make it look neat. He could cook okay, but for some strange reason he was nervous cooking for his mate. Maybe it was because he wanted to put a smile on her face and avoid giving her food poisoning. Once he was happy on how they looked, he carried Cece’s out with the small basket of rolls, and Sam came up behind him and grabbed their plate. Once he was in the dining room, he set the plate down and watched as Cece looked at him and then the plate.

“You made this, for me?” He could see she was taken aback by his gesture. Maybe he was wrong and should have done something else.

“Yeah we did, but if you don’t like it, I can make you something else.” A single tear rolled down her cheek and he didn’t know what to do. Kneeling beside her, he grabbed her hands in one of his while running his other to wipe the tear away.

“Please, love, don’t cry. I can’t stand it when you cry. Tell me what we did wrong and I will fix it.”

Cece removed her hand from his and placed it on his cheek. He couldn’t help but lean into her tender touch.

“You did nothing wrong you silly bear, I am just so touched you did this for me. No one has ever made me dinner before. And it's Salmon. Billy couldn’t stand the stuff and I couldn’t even bring it in the house, but you and Sam make me feel happy.” Grey released a deep breath he hadn’t realized he was holding and kissed her lips tenderly. Wanting so much to deepen it, he released her and stood, knowing cold fish sucked.

“Eat, my love.” Kissing the top of her head, he released her and pushed her chair in so she could eat better before taking his. Sam followed suit and soon the three of them were eating and talking about today’s work and so on.

“Oh, I found some information about the prophecy that I am not sure what it means, so maybe we can talk with Becky and Millie.”

“We can later, baby. I know their mates were planning something special with them too.” She nodded before taking the last bite of her food. Grey smiled at her and was glad she had started to eat more. When he first met her, she ate only small bites and small amounts, and now she was eating full meals with gusto. He could even see her putting weight back on as her ribs no longer showed and she looked healthy, and happy.

“Got any room for desert, baby girl?” Sam asked.

Cece couldn’t remember a time when she had been so happy, other than before Billy came into her life and it was just her and her parents.

“Dessert, really. You did all this and made desert too?” She was shocked, well not at just the desert, but of everything. They had made one of her favorite meals, taken care of everything in the house, and it was all done for her.

“Well, umm you see, we didn’t actually make it, Becky did that. She is on a weird baking kick, but it’s apple pie.”

“Sounds amazing, and Becky can bake just about anything, but how about a little later.”

“Sure, love, why don’t we relax in the living room?” She nodded and followed Grey who surprised her and scooped her up into his arm carrying her to the couch. Instead of setting her in the middle, he positioned her on his lap, and Sam sat next to him and started to rub her feet. Grey clicked on some show about river monsters in the amazon and she lost interest as Grey started to nibble her ear. Closing her eyes, she rolled her head back to allow him access to her neck. The small little touches they did seem to set her skin on fire. Unsure of herself as she was now in new territory, she surrendered herself to them. Tonight just seemed right, and something was different with it all. Maybe it was her and her new self-confidence, or maybe it was because these two strong men were gentle and soft with her, but fierce and strong when they needed to be.

“Is this okay, love?” Grey asked softly while planting small kisses and nips on her neck and running his hand under her breast but not touching her where she wanted. Sam was rubbing her feet, but had started to move up to rub and massage her thighs.

“Yes,” she whispered. Unable to help herself she gave in and moved so she could grasp Grey’s face and she kissed him with everything she had in her. She felt like a wonton creature and her desire sparked something inside her. Grey rumbled and ran his hand up to her breast this time and rubbed his thumb back and forth against her nipple until it pebbled at his touch. He too let everything he felt go into their kiss. He took her mouth with deep passionate strokes of his tongue, letting her know who she belonged to. A kiss burned and ignited a fire down to her sex making her want more.

“Let’s move this to the bedroom, love.” Grey broke apart from the kiss and lifted her with ease. “The new bed came in and it's time we break it in right.” He kissed her again and all she could do was cling to his neck while kissing and sucking on his skin. The taste of soap and sweat mixed in a heady combination that was driving her on pure instinct.

Sam had opened the door ahead of them and before she realized it, they had her laying down in the middle of a massive bed. The one they picked out but now laying on it, she saw the advantages of it more and more. The sides of the bed dipped and hands started to run up her legs to her waist, to her breasts and back down. With her eyes closed, she relished the feeling of them on her, worshiping her. The emotions both were projecting was something indescribable, but on the lines of love.

Slowly Sam started to remove her shirt, followed by her skirt. She was now laying down on the bed with just her bra and panties. The feeling was unlike anything she expected. She had some small scars and she wasn’t fit, but both men looked at her with awe and lust.
