“Yes of course I do,” James answered.

“Ok,” Cali said shaking. “What do we do now?”

“Well we have to get to Vex international,” James said,
putting his hand to his forehead. He was deep in thought.

“We can’t drive anywhere, they have road blocks all over
the place,” Cali said.

“Cali pack up your stuff and get ready to go,” James said
as he walked out of the room with his phone in his hand.

Cali quickly packed up her stuff and went down stairs to
find James. He was in the office going through paper work
and talking on the phone. Cali went into the kitchen, made
herself another cup of coffee and took it out to the back
deck. Cali sat there looking out at the ocean and even
though she was scared, she felt a sense of peace. She was
so grateful to have James in her life. She had always been
the one taking care of others; it was nice to have someone
who wanted to help her for a change. She felt guilty for
dragging him in to her drama but she would do the same
thing if the roles were reversed.
James walked out to the back deck with a bag in one hand
and a brief case in the other hand. He was wearing jeans
and a t-shirt.

“Are you ready to go?” he asked.

“Ya I’m ready but where are we going and how?” Cali
asked confused as she stood up and looked at him.

She was distracted by a big yacht in the water that pulled
up in front of James lake house.

“That’s our first ride,” James whispered in Cali’s ear. She
was shocked but she put her coffee cup in the kitchen sink
and grabbed her bags.

Chapter 21
They boarded the boat, and Cali followed James down
below to a bed room where they could talk.

“James can you fill me in on your plan?”

“We can’t drive anywhere because the cops will find us,
and it would take weeks to drive anyways, so we are
taking my yacht to Laguna city. From there we are taking
my private jet to Hue that’s the city where I live and where
I work. We’ll stay at my place until we figure things out”.

“This is your yacht and you have your own private jet.
How rich are you?”

“Rich enough to help you and your sisters with your legal
problems,” James smiled, “I’m pretty rich.”

Cali didn’t really think about James as being rich, she had
no idea when he was just Edwin and she didn’t really care
either way she cared about him as a person not who he
was in the financial world.
“Thank you for helping me. I know that you’re putting
yourself at risk for me and I greatly appreciate what you
are doing for me,” Cali said. “I am glad you have a plan
because I have no idea what to do.”

“Well I have everything worked out so you don’t have to
worry about anything right now, we can just relax and
enjoy the boat ride,” James said wrapping his arms around
her as he kissed her forehead.

Cali allowed herself to relax a little. James seemed to have
everything under control. He took her on a tutor of the
yacht; there were three decks; two with bars and one that
had a hot tub on it. Cali was amazed with how luxurious
the yacht was, the interior was decorated phenomenally,
and everything that was built onto the ship was done in a
very dark walnut wood. There was a dining area with a
glass table and six black leather chairs. A sitting area set
up with a black leather sectional couch and a gas fire
place built into the wall, a large flat screen TV was
mounted above the fire place. There was a pool table on
the other side of the room next to a bar. Down another
level was the sleeping quarters. There were three
bedrooms; two small bedrooms with double beds and the
master bedroom with a queen size bed. Then he took her
to the kitchen where there were people cooking them
lunch. Cali was amazed with how many people were
working on the ship. Cali even met the ship’s captain.
“Cali I’d like you to meet Captain Ronald F Kandy, he has
been a long-time friend of the family. He is also a very
valuable employee,” James said introducing them. “Ronald
this is my girlfriend Cali, and she has never been on a
yacht before.”

“Nice to meet you,” Cali said shaking his hand.

“Nice to meet you too Cali, you know James never brings
girls down here to meet me,” Ronald said smiling at her
and Cali smiled back. “You must be special to him.”

“Yes she is very special,” James said as he put his arm
around Cali and smiled at Captain Ronald.

James and Cali went to sit out side on the deck of the ship.
Cali enjoyed the sun beaming down on her. It warmed her
and made her feel protected, almost as if her mother was
watching over her.

The yacht rocked gently as the sun hit the crystal, clear
water. Cali was looking out to the sea when a man
approached her and James.

“Good afternoon sir, will it be the usual experience?
Should we be expecting more lady friends this evening?”
The man asked in a very profession tone in his voice.

“No, it’s just the two of us this evening and not the usual,
let’s go simple and romantic,” James muttered in a low
voice.
Cali felt uncomfortable, all of this was so new to her but
James had already shared all these things with many other
girls. For her he was the only guy she ever really dated,
James on the other hand, had much more experience.

The man left them alone and Cali turned her attention back
to the ocean. She didn’t look at or say anything to James.
She knew he had been with many other girls before, and
she had a past too but she just wanted them to share
something special together, something new and exciting
just for them.

“Cali what are you thinking about, something is bothering
you I know because you are biting your bottom lip,” James
said looking at her. He read her so well and she wondered
how he did it.

“So I don’t get the usual experience?” Cali smiled and said
in a sassy voice, turning to look at James.

“I just wanted to do something different with you,” James
said as his cheeks flushed red. “I just wanted this to be
special for us. I can only imagine how hard the next little
while is going to be on you and I just want you to relax
and enjoy yourself.”

The words
specialfor us
echoed in Cali’s head. It was like
music to her ears. That’s all she wanted too. She looked
into his eyes and she moved in close to him and she
pressed her lips to his, kissing him gently.
“I am so lucky I found you,” Cali whispered.
“I feel the same way,” James said smiling as he kissed her
again.

“What would you like to do today?” James asked as Cali’s
tummy started to growl.

Cali touched her stomach and laughed.

“Well I am hungry, could we eat?” Cali asked smiling.

“Yes lunch is being prepared,” James smiled.

“It’s so crazy, you have people that cook for you,” Cali
laughed.

“Not all the time,” James said looking embarrassed. “You
know, most girls find that charming.”

“Ya well I think we have established that I am not like any
other girl,” Cali said in a sad voice like she wished she
was normal.

“You sure are one of a kind and I couldn’t be happier,”
James said as he touched her face. “Well lunch won’t be
ready for a little while what shall we do until then?”

“Well to tell you the truth, I really want to know what you
usually do. Take me on a normal James Vex date. Be all
rich and charming. Wow me,” Cali purred in a sexy voice
as she smiled at him and batted her eyes.

“I can’t be that guy with you,” James said, as Cali made a
pouting face. “With you I would rather be the real me.”
He looked into her eyes and she smiled. “Why don’t we go
relax in the hot tub?”

“I can’t go in the hot tub, people might see me,” Cali said
putting her head down as she wrapped her arms around
herself trying to hide. “And I don’t have a bathing suit.”

“You don’t need a bathing suit,” James said smiling with
his incredibly charming smile. “Cali no one will bother us,
it will be completely private.”

“Ok if it’s just us but I am not going in naked,” Cali smiled
and looked at him seriously.

“I was just kidding anyway. I am not taking my clothes off
around you, that last time that happened you screamed
and freaked out,” James said laughing. “I have never had
that reaction before,” they both laughed.

Cali took her clothes off and shut her eyes as she stood
on the deck of the boat letting the sun shine its warmth
down on her. She was standing there in her blue bar and
underwear and she dipped her toes in the hot water. James
just watched her; he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. She
was so incredible and he was so in love with her. There
wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. He watched her as
she slowly got into the water. He went over to the bar area,
poured them both a drink and walked one over to her.
“Are you coming in?” Cali said in a seductive way as she
smiled. Her blue eyes were full of excitement.

“Yes I’m coming in,” James said as he started to take off
his shirt. “If I take off my shirt are you going to freak out?”

“Oh shut up and get in here,” Cali said laughing.

James took off his shirt, Cali watched him, he was so
perfect and she loved looking at him. It was as if time was
frozen; she got so lost looking at him.

“I see you checking me out,” James said as he was getting
into the water.

“Yes I was, I think you are very sexy,” Cali giggled as her
face turned red.

“Do you?” He asked smiling with a confident grin on his
face.

“Yes I do, don’t act all surprised you know how good
looking you are,” Cali said, rolling her eyes and making a
funny face at him.

“Yes ok I do, but you don’t know how incredibly beautiful
you are from the inside out,” James moved in close to her
and whispered in her ear and Cali put her head down.

“Shut up, I know I am not that pretty,” Cali said holding
back her tears.
“If you don’t think you’re pretty then what is pretty too
you?” James asked.

“My sisters, they are all beautiful, I mean like super model
beautiful and to top it off they are all amazing. I am truly
the ugly duckling of the family,” Cali said as she paused
and thought about her sisters.

“You know what happened to the ugly duckling, she grows
up to be a beautiful swan,” James said. “Cali trust me, you
are beautiful.”

“Well you must love me then,” Cali said shaking her head
and pouting her lips.

“Why do you say that?”

“Well they say love is blind,” Cali said laughing.

James looked into her eyes and touched her face. He
pulled her in so close she could feel his heart beat against
her chest and he could feel her supple breasts against
him. He had to control his desire for her, he knew the
wrong move could really scare her and that was the last
thing he wanted to do. He pressed his lips to hers and she
fed back into his kiss, plunging her tongue into his mouth.
His hands were all over her body but he was gentle and
sweet. Cali loved the way he made her feel and she loved
kissing him. His hands felt good on her skin and she ran
her hands up his chest; touching his neck. Then she ran
her hands through his hair as she deepened their kiss,
wrapping her legs around his body. She felt how excited
he was and they both pulled away from each other. Cali
loved James but she didn’t know how to be with him that
way; sex was scary. He didn’t know how not to be with her
that way, he loved her. It only made sense that he wanted
to be with her intimately. He held back and didn’t say a
word.

They went inside the yacht and got dressed for lunch.
They had an incredible meal, salads with grilled fish and
chicken, grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes with herbs
and garlic and after the main course they had fresh fruit
dipped in chocolate fudge and caramel sauce. After they
ate they spent the rest of the day enjoying the sun and
talking. Just before the boat docked James gave Cali
clothes to put on.

Cali got changed into a black pin stripped pencil skirt and
a white, short-sleeve blouse. She put on a pair of heels, a
big black sun hat and sun glasses. Cali looked at herself in
the mirror, she didn’t even recognize herself; she looked
so sophisticated and classy.

Cali walked out of the bathroom with her new clothes on
and James was standing there in a business suit looking
very sexy.

“Now we look the part,” James said smiling as he was
checking her out.

“What
parts
that?” Cali asked smiling.

“Business man, me James Vex and his very sexy
girlfriend,” he responded smiling at her as he touched her
hand and pulled her in close.

The boat docked at Laguna city at 7:00 pm. There was a
limo waiting to take James and Cali to his private jet. A
man packed their bags into the car and James led the way.
Cali followed hesitantly, trying to look like she belonged
walking beside him. They drove about an hour to a small
airport and they boarded on his private jet. There were no
security guards or people checking passports, they got
out of the limo and they just walked right onto the jet.

Cali was amazed; she had never been on a jet before. She
was so nervous but excited at the same time. Once the
plane took off and they were on their way they were
served dinner. After dinner Cali fell asleep in James’ arms.
They arrived in Huge shortly after 11:00 pm and another
limo was waiting for them. They drove through the city
until they came to a big high rise condo. A man came and
took their bags and Cali followed James as they walked up
to the big, golden doors of the building. A man opened the
doors and nodded to James as they passed. They walked
through the lobby of the building and took an elevator to
the pent house. They got off the elevator and walked up to
his condo and he unlocked the doors.

Cali walked inside and James clapped his hands and the
lights and music came on. The condo was huge and
beautifully decorated; very modern with a masculine feel.
It was all open-concept with a beautiful big kitchen with
black cabinets and grey granite counter tops with
stainless steel appliances. A big island in the middle of the
kitchen separated the dining area that had a big black
table and red leather chairs. The walls were grey with pin
stripes. On the other side of the apartment was the sunk in
living room, the walls in the living room were a soft grey
color and the couches were white leather which
complimented everything in the apartment so beautifully.
The coffee table and end tables were black and the area
rug was black, red and white. On the wall was a massive
flat screen, next to sliding glass doors that led to a
massive balcony. The window coverings were black and
red and they matched the pillows on the couches. Off the
living room were two French doors that lead to a very
large master bed room with a king size bed in the center of
the room. The walls were dark blue and the bedding was
pin striped grey which matched the curtains on the
windows. The furniture in the room was all a dark cherry
wood. Off the bedroom was a beautiful bathroom with
marble floors and a very large glassed in shower and a
corner Jacuzzi tub. On the other side of the master
bedroom was a massive walk in closet.
