“Come on,” he whispered to her, lifting her hand to his lips.

“You ready for this?” she asked with a wide grin.

He glanced at all the people, seeing the hands full of the bird seed they were wielding. “Whose idea was this?”

“It’s traditional,” she said, tugging on his arm to bring his mouth down where she could reach it. “You said you wanted tradition.”

“Yeah, but I didn’t think I’d end up dead from it.”

She laughed. “Quit being a baby.”

“Baby, I’ve been stabbed, shot and in a car wreck as well as dragging you out of a submerged car. Don’t you think I’ve done enough dangerous things for a while?”

“Gabe...should I tell my family you’re scared of a little bird seed?”

He sighed. “Okay, let’s do this.” He lifted her hand to his lips one more time. “Those who are about to die salute you.”

She rolled her eyes and snorted, but she ducked her head and followed him, rushing through the hail of bird seed that plummeted around them. It didn’t hurt so much as sting. He opened the back seat of the Limo and let her in first. She waved at everyone as Gabe settled and then closed the back door before he tugged her into his arms.

Before he kissed her, he pushed down on a button that was on a small control panel. “Take your time, Phillip. The plane’s not due to take off for another three hours. Take the scenic route.”

A voice on the radio agreed, but before he could kiss her, Lexi held up her hand.

“Airport? I thought our flight was for tonight?”

“Your brother Gus used his pull at the airport, got us an earlier flight and upgraded us to first class. When he offered, I could hardly say no. I mean, he was pulling strings, Lex.”

“What about all those people? My family?”

“Your mom and dad know what’s going on. They’ll explain to the guests and invite them to the reception hall to eat all that food you thought we needed. The band will be playing, it will still be a party; we just won’t be there.” He stared into her amber eyes, searching to figure out her mood. It was their wedding night, and the thought of spending it on the couch just wasn’t palatable to him. “Come on, Lexi. Think of it; blue skies, white sandy beaches, the expanse of the ocean before us. Can’t you feel the heat of the sun already?”

She tried to stare him down, but couldn’t stop the smile that crossed her lips. “Anything to get me alone, huh?”

“Did you pack that bikini I bought you?” he asked hopefully.

Lexi grinned. The bikini was little more than two tiny triangles and a string with an eye patch. She’d tried it on when she was alone at her apartment and blushed staring at the reflection in her full-length mirror. “Now that would wreck the surprise.” It would take everything she had to wear that in public, but it if would make her new husband happy, she was willing to do almost anything.

* * * *

“Does that smile mean I’m forgiven?” Gabe asked hopefully. Lexi Hunter, now Elliott, was his life, and he would do everything he could to make her happy, even if it meant keeping the old tickets that wouldn’t get them to their honeymoon until tomorrow. They would be traveling all night, and joining the mile-high club really didn’t sound like much fun to him.

“I can’t stay mad at you.” She snuggled against him as she spoke. “However, you owe me a couple of drinks.”

“On the beach, tomorrow for sure, baby.” He lifted her head, staring into her gorgeous amber eyes. “Have I told you how beautiful you are?”

“No, but I’ll forgive you if you tell me now.”

“I was awestruck when you started walking down the aisle. You were the only person I could see, Lexi. You’re still the only person I can see.”

She moved and slid onto his lap. “How long is this ride?”

He grinned, glancing outside through the tinted windows. “Oh, at least an hour; maybe more.”

She tugged on his tie, slipping it from around his neck. Her hands were on the stud buttons on his shirt, and she growled as the tiny things began to frustrate her. She moved her hands inside, grasping the edges of the shirt and yanking hard. The two sides came open, the studs popping off to land on the floor of the limo. Her mouth was hot against his flesh, and he moaned as he wrapped his hands around her waist.

Her dress was secured by at least fifty tiny material-covered buttons. She pulled away from him when he brought his other hand to her back. “No tearing my dress, Gabe.”

“But...”

“No.”

He sighed. “Okay, but this could take a while.”

Taking sympathy on him, she showed him the hidden zipper that ran from under her arm and down her side.

“Better?” she asked when the dress hung off her shoulders.

“Not yet.” He tugged the sleeves down her arms, watching the dress fall until she was wearing nothing but the silky lace corset, a lace thong, thigh-high nylons and her white heels. “Now I’m better.”

She rose to face him, her knees on each side of him. He put his hands on her barely attired hips. “I love you, Lexi. I will love you more every day until I die.”

She sighed. “I never thought I could meet a man who would make me feel the way you do, Gabe. I’ve always been married to my job. I spent more time there than I did anywhere else, but not anymore.” She hesitated a moment. “I put an application in at the FBI office in Monroe City. I heard this morning; I start a week after we get back.”

“You quit your job?” He worried about her and the job she loved, but he never thought she would quit it voluntarily. “Why, Lexi?”

“I found out I now have something more precious to me than hiding the bad guys from the worse bad guys and making it my life. You are my life, and the FBI has promised me a lot. So I’m no longer a U.S. Marshal. Now I’m Special Agent Lexi Elliott. What do you think?” she asked, holding her arms out to her sides.

“I don’t think you should wear that outfit to work,” he teased.

“You know what I mean.” She rolled her eyes at him.

“You want to know what I think?” He grabbed her waist and pushed her down on the soft leather of the limo. He leaned over and pressed his lips against hers. He demanded with his mouth, wanting everything from her, and she did her best to give it to him. He tugged at the corset until her breasts were exposed and rolled the tip of one nipple between his finger and thumb, loving every gasp, wiggle and moan he could draw from her.

He took very little time undressing her, leaving the white thigh-highs in place. She was sexy as hell in nothing but those nylons, and he found his desire for her growing in huge leaps and bounds. Tugging at the fastening of the fancy trousers she picked for him to wear, he pushed between her thighs.

“This is your fault,” he growled in her ear as he pressed his hard cock against her soft, pink flesh. “I can’t wait.”

“Neither can I,” she groaned, wiggling her hips against him, trying to get the head of his cock inside her.

“Tell me you love me,” he ordered hoarsely.

She did, and he drove his cock home hard, hearing her shrill squeak and feeling the molten-like heat of her pussy and the wet walls that surrounded him so perfectly.

“Hang on to me, Lexi. I need you so much.”

She wrapped her long legs around his waist and tangled her hands in the soft hair on his chest. “Fuck me, Gabe. Fuck me and make me cum, now!”

“God, yes,” he groaned. He plunged into her, his pulse racing, his heart pounding. Her little cries urged him on, and he pounded into her body again and again as she moved her hands over his shoulders and around his neck. He felt the pulsing of her pussy, the walls tightening around him, and knew he was going to make her cum. “Tell me,” he growled.

“Yes, mmm,” she hummed. “It’s so good, Gabe. Don’t stop. Fuck my pussy.”

“Oh yeah,” he said hoarsely as he grabbed her hips and dragged them up at a different angle. He could feel his cock rubbing against the hard bud of her clit with every thrust, could feel her spasms starting. He placed his mouth on hers and growled his own release, flooding her with his sperm. He collapsed, barely able to keep his weight from crushing her, but he didn’t want to pull out, didn’t want to leave the home he found inside her. “Better than some stodgy party?”

Lexi smiled dreamily. “I’d tell you yes, but you’d get a big head.”

He moved his hips slowly, letting her feel he was still hard even though he’d climaxed. “I’ve got a big head already, baby.”

“Definitely nothing wrong with your ego,” she said with a moan.

“Well, having a woman like you constantly staring at me with lust in her eyes makes for a healthy ego.” He grinned down at her when she snorted.

“That’s not lust; that’s an eyelash.”

“Oh, Lexi. Now I’m going to have to prove it to you.”

He did.
