Bree guided him to her entrance, sliding down his hardness as he filled her so completely.

“Heaven,” Ty groaned, his hands grasping her ass. “Stay with me, lovey.”

She squeezed her eyes tightly closed and rode him. Her body blazed with emotion, with sensations. The pleasure swamped her body. He caressed her roughly, hands moving over her ass, hips, up to squeeze her breasts.

His cock slid deep, the building pressure consuming her. She burned hotter.

Ty’s skin matched her heat. He groaned, hips thrusting up to meet her descent. Bree ground her clit against his pelvis, then rose and fell again. The fire in her blood roared.

“Stay with me, Bree,” Ty shouted, his hips jerking frantically.

Bree squeezed her eyes tighter, meeting his every thrust as she bent down to taste his mouth. His arms wrapped around her, holding her close as his tongue pushed to meet hers.

Together, they burned so hot. Even the air crackled with it.

The orgasm held her close, as close as Ty’s tight grip.

“Stay,” he whispered hoarsely into her mouth.

His cock slid hard, pounding into her as he jerked his hips faster. She met him each time, her clit rubbing his groin, their kiss turning furious. Tongues battled as if this was a war neither could win.

The lights burst brightly behind her eyelids as she tightened, spasming around his pummeling length. Bree screamed against Ty’s lips, her body shuddering from the force of the exquisite pleasure rampaging through her, curling her toes.

The air grew hotter, crackling around them as Ty grabbed her ass and lifted her, letting her fall to slam against him. He jerked her up again, then plunged upwards, deep into her.

Sweat slicked skin rubbed, pounded against each other. His fingers dug into her skin, raising her up, pushing her down. Bree screamed as the climax struck her once more, filling her with heat, making her legs go weak. Ty was relentless, unstopping.

He thrust up into her, hard, fast, never letting up as her body shuddered from the pleasurable force hitting her in waves of almost unbearable sensations.

“Stay,” Ty shouted, as he pulsed inside her, his seed hot and slick.

Bree didn’t move, except to open her eyes and stare at him. His eyelids fluttered open and he met her gaze, his eyes a mixture of blue and white swirls.

The burning air crackled louder around them.

Glancing up, Bree realized they were surrounded by fire. Flames licked along the hay-strewn ground, crawled up the wooden barn walls. Only a small circle around them was untouched by fire. A giggle escaped Bree as the barn doors, engulfed in flames, cracked and fell from their hinges.

They scrambled to their feet, Ty tossing her a horse blanket as the opening revealed a stunned audience of Calla, Scott, Kari and Rick.

“What the hells is going on in here?” Calla shouted.

Bree laughed, staring at the fire engulfing the barn. Ty yanked his pants up, then took her hand. “Ignore them.”

“Kinda hard,” she replied with a smile.

“Get out of there before you roast,” Scott yelled as he flipped open his phone and punched in some numbers.

Bree started for the doorway. Ty grabbed her arm and held her back. “Stay with me, Bree.”

She looked at him, blinking. “Why?”

Unbelievably, the man dropped down to one knee. Keeping hold of her hand, he stared up at her, a wry smile on his lips. “I’m not one for long-term relationships. But the thought of you leaving terrifies me. I… I love you, Brianna Jones. Stay with me.”

She tried tugging her hand away, but his grip was too tight. “We’re, neither of us, the kind of people --”

“Then we’ll become the type of people,” he said. “Stay with me. Become my family. You belong with me, Bree.”

Something cracked overhead, the fire eating through the roof.

“Say yes already!” someone shouted outside.

Bree’s eyes filled with tears at the obvious love blazing in Ty’s eyes. “You really think we can make it work?” she whispered.

“We can do anything we put our minds to.” He rose, pulling her into his embrace. “I love you.”

Bree closed her eyes, bowing her head, and said the words she’d never before said. “And I love you, Ty.”

Outside, clapping began. Ty whooped, grabbing her and racing them from the fiery barn.

Outside, he set her on her feet and devoured her mouth in an explosive kiss, just as the barn collapsed, surrounding them with a whirlwind of glowing sparks.

She didn’t care.

He was dragon. She was born of fire. Now, they could blaze together.

Amber Kallyn

One of those rare breeds, Amber Kallyn is an Arizona native who can trace her family’s history through six generations in the state. She lives with her sexy husband, and their four very active children. Included in the menagerie are two cats (though there’s always room for more) and two dogs. We won’t count all the fish. She also writes urban fantasy under the name Higley Browne.

Amber loves the paranormal, from dragons to werewolves to vampires. She’s currently at work on her next book, probably running around the house acting out a fight scene with her collection of swords and daggers. Or maybe, wishing she had claws to practice the other fight scenes.

A voracious lover of the written word, Amber found at an early age that she could read fast. Really fast. She devours novels by the day, novellas by the hour, and is always looking to get her hands on more.
