Epilogue

Amelia

I hate the way this castle smells with these werewolves and vampires running around. I hate that fairies are working for me. Those things are tricky, and I can’t wait until I take in all the power. They will be the first to go. I am sick of seeing fairy dust everywhere. They sneeze and they spread it all around. So disgusting. Then there is Kale and Anna. They are helpful, but not perfect. Turning Kale into a dark angel was easy, and it was fun tricking him to drink the potion of young age. What a moron. He thinks he is my right hand man. But when I take over, he has no idea what I have planned for him. As for Anna… she is a stupid little girl that has a huge part in this ritual. Little does she know I will cut her heart out and make Kale eat it. It’s not part of the ritual, but I am sadistic like that.

Dean ha
s ruined me, destroyed me. He thought tricking me would make me stay white and pure. What a pathetic fool. I will take joy in ending him. I can’t wait until he shows his face here to try and save our daughter. He will have a front row seat in this ritual.

But
the best part in the ritual is locked away in the dungeons—my special pets and experiments. Ithaca will never be the same. My mutant children will have so much fun in the city. No creature will be safe, nor will the humans. They will be punished for what they had done to dark witches all those years ago. I think I will start in the city of Summers, Georgia. My new pets will enjoy it there.

“Umm, excuse me madam?” I roll my eyes and turn to Enoch.

“What do you want? Can’t you see I am deep in thought?”

“You might want to look outside. We have some visitors.”

I walk over to the window and see a mob of white creatures walking toward the castle. I notice that my dear, sweet husband and that bitch Kaleigh are practically leading the group. I smile and turn to Enoch.

“Well well well, I think it’s time for a war. Please gather all the other creatures and meet me at the front door. I want to show our visitors something.” He bows and leaves, and I head to the dungeons to grab dear sweet Cameron.

“Wake up,” I yell before slapping him in the face.

“Ouch!” he screams. “What the hell was that for?”

I grab him up and dr
ag him out of the dungeon, up the steps, and to the front door. I see all the creatures making their way to the front. Enoch opens the front door, and I walk out into the darkness with Cameron. I toss him to the ground, and hear Kaleigh gasp.

“Welcome, visitors; I see you have joined us for the ritual. As you see, the moon has raised and it is almost time to drain Cordelia’s blood. But first, I have a preshow for you all. You see, I have this fallen angel here with me. He’s so weak that he has allowed his heart to fall in love with my daughter. You all know that’s breaking the laws of the coven, and he needs to be punished. What happens when an angel breaks the law? Wait, I know; their wings are ripped from them and they bleed to death.”  I grab a dagger from my belt.

Kaleigh steps forward. “Please don’t hurt him.” I flick my hand and she goes flying like the insignificant little speck she is. I raise the dagger into the air and slam it down into Cameron’s back. He screams and blood flows from his back.

“Now, who is ready for this war?”

I whistle and look back to see my new pets walking to the front door. I hear numerous people gasp and scream. I kn
ow I have out done myself on this one, but I don’t care. This was going to be so much fun.
