“Cameron! Oh God!” He moved up her body quickly, placing his lips over hers to catch her cries.

“Quiet, sweetheart. These walls are thin, and I don’t think I’ll stop even if someone walks in.”

She blushed, and he kissed her again before moving back to the place he wanted to explore.

It was torture. Melanie pressed her fist into her mouth as he licked and sucked, teased and fingered. She felt as if at any time, she was going to forget and scream her pleasure. He was relentless. Cameron pushed her into one orgasm, only to continue, even as she tried to push him away, and drag another from her body.

She was still twitching from her last orgasm when he crawled up her body and kissed her, allowing her to taste herself on his lips.

Pushing up from the bed, he unbuckled his belt and tugged his pants and boxers off. Melanie sat up and stared at his hard cock, veiny and red as he saluted, and at the perfect level with her mouth.

Giving him a grin, she leaned forward and licked the tip.

“Mel,” he moaned.

Wanting to give him some of the torture he’d just given her, she pulled him closer and sucked him into her mouth. Lifting her eyes to his, she watched him watch her, feeling little shocks in her pussy as she did so. His hands slid to the back of her neck, and then into her hair as she sucked more and more of him into her mouth. She took him into her throat, fighting her gag reflex, and watching as he closed his eyes briefly.

A curse left his lips moments before he pulled her away from his cock and pushed her back onto the bed.

Delicious shivers rushed through her body as he came over her, his hard body pressing her into the mattress.

Her legs were already spread, so he bumped against her heat almost immediately, bringing groans from the both of them. Without any more play, he took hold of his aching length and pressed it against her opening.

“Yes,” Melanie breathed, clenching her muscles in anticipation.

Staring directly into her brown eyes, he sunk himself deep, going even deeper as she moaned and arched up against him.

He waited the span of three breaths, so that she could adjust to him, before he began a relentless pounding. Lowering his lips to hers, he kissed her, sucking on her lips, biting...

Melanie barely had time to breathe as he sank into her body, over and over again. She could do little more than moan, groan, whimper, and at times cry out. An orgasm was building, and she frantically lifted her hips for his hard, delicious thrusts, wanting all of him, needing it. When she came, she bit into his shoulder to keep from crying out. Feeling as if she were drowning, she clutched at his body to keep from going under, or to take him with her.

Cameron slowed his thrusts, stroking deeply and watching her face as her orgasm rushed her.

When she came to, he brushed his lips across hers and asked, “Are you okay?”

“Yes.” It was a breathless yes, but a yes all the same.

He lowered his lips to her neck and sucked, wanting to put a visible mark on her. Her muscles clenched at his cock, and she said, “You didn’t—”

Nipping at her neck, he replied, “Not yet, sweetheart. I want to make this last.”

And he did. It was another half an hour before they left the bed to shower, and after a session in the shower in which she was bent into positions unheard of, Melanie was certain she would be walking funny for a few hours.

He sat on her bed and watched her dress, smiling as she ran a hand down a dark red sweater to make sure that it was neat. Melanie Samuels was perfect, and she was his. It had taken him a few days to fall for her, and as he’d learned more, he’d fallen even deeper. And now she was here, about to celebrate Hogmanay with him.

She turned from the mirror to him.

“How do I look?” she asked.

Cameron stood and walked over to her. Wrapping his arms around her, he replied, “As ye always do, sweetheart. Beautiful.”

She slid her arms over his neck and leaned up to kiss him.

“You do know how to make a girl feel good,” she said softly.

His arms tightened around her, and she could not mistake the lust in his voice as he replied, “I know how to make ye feel good, lass.”

Smiling, she answered, “That you do, Cameron Mackintosh.” He looked to her lips and she licked them, smiling at the automatic reaction. Would she ever get enough of him? She doubted it. Cameron was her Christmas miracle. He’d reached her in a way that no one else had, pulling her from a life of loneliness, and introducing her to one of love.

He was lowering his head and she was pushing up on her toes when there was a knock on the door.

“Sorry to disturb you, lass, but have ye seen my son? He’s supposed to help with the preparations for Hogmanay, and his da and brothers havena seen him.”

Melanie shook her head at Cameron in mock reproach, and he smiled.

“I’ll tell him that you’re looking for him if I—”

“I’ll be down shortly, Ma,” Cameron called over her, and Melanie’s eyes widened.

“I knew ye were hiding in there, you scoundrel,” Cait replied jovially, and then her footsteps faded away.

“Did I ever tell you that I love it when you blush?” Cameron asked, kissing each cheek before moving back to her lips.

“She’s going to know what we were doing.”

“She knew what was going to happen when she sent me up here, sweetheart.” When she lifted a brow, Cameron nodded. “She did. Why do ye think it took her two hours to come after me?”

Melanie relaxed but replied, “Because she couldn’t find you,
scoundrel
.”

He grinned. “I’m your scoundrel, lass.”

“Yes, yes you are.” She kissed him quickly and pulled out of his arms, moving to the door and opening it. When she turned, it was to find him standing facing her, a smile on his face.

“Were you looking at my ass?”

He approached her and leaned down to whisper. “Yes, lass, and what a beautiful ass it is.”

She chuckled as he kissed her lightly. Melanie stepped from the room ahead of him, hearing the joyous ruckus coming from the living room below. Cameron followed her, wondering how long it would be before he asked her to marry him. He decided three months, maybe two.

His mother gave her a hug as soon as they were in the living room and proceeded to introduce her to cousins and friends who had filed in when they’d been upstairs. She smiled and charmed them all as Cameron stood beside his brothers.

“It was Aiden,” Brendan murmured with a grin.

Aiden sent him a look, but Cameron chuckled.

“Thank you, brother,” he said in a low voice, and Aiden nodded and grinned at him.

“I helped,” Brendan chimed in.

“You too.”

Five hours later, he and Melanie were outside, listening to the fireworks that indicated the dawn of a new year.

She was wrapped in his arms, her head buried in his jacket, when he said softly, “One of these days, I’m going to ask you to marry me, lass.”

Melanie laughed and lifted her face to his. Her eyes were aglow as she replied, “One of these days, I’m going to say yes.”
