Draco cleared his throat, reminding them they’d been in the middle of a different conversation.

“I see you two have a few things to talk about, but I’ve got something to say about that. Yeah, Cliff, you might have fucked up by getting caught in that situation at the club. You paid a price. Think you’re the first person that’s happened to? Walk down Main Street, USA. Which person there knows or cares what you did in that one hour of your life? Or in the thousands of hours that came before that minute you let yourself get cuffed to a bed.

“You want to go to Coronado—to the base? Then hell yes, someone you bump into might know. So the fuck what? Nobody really cares. San Diego is a big enough city and has been your home for a lot of years.”

“So why’d you call, Draco?” Ryan asked, suddenly anxious to talk with Cliff in private to make sure he didn’t sink back into his thoughts.

“I have a proposition for you and Cliff. This isn’t something easily explained over the phone—especially since I’m expecting my daily interrogation with Kam in a few minutes. You’d think his injuries would have slowed him down. Under other circumstances, I might find him rather…attractive.”

Ryan laughed. “Uh huh. Okay, Cliff and I will come visit but we’re out of town. I’m not sure when we’re heading back—we have a few decisions to make about what’s next—”

“Yeah, it’s about that. Rhino…despite the two dead men who came back to finish things, I’m not sure that everything’s—” Draco blew out a breath. “I think I’d like some protection. I’d like to hire the two of you, so come see me before you make any decisions.”

“Oh…uh…sure. We can talk about it, but I don’t think—”

“Rhino,” Draco’s voice was a harsh whisper over the line. “I’m going out of here in a chair. I need—”

Cliff’s gaze met his, and in that moment, he knew they were on the same page. There might still be plenty of questions to answer about their future, but for now, their path was clear.

“Say no more, Draco. Cliff and I will be there tonight.”

Deuce Coop

For nearly five years, Deuce managed to keep his gang out of serious trouble, but a favor for a friend of a friend puts Deuce in a hell of a spot—take temporary—and unwilling—custody of a young man in a relationship that’s way over his head or leave him in the path of a near-certain death? Despite his decision to leave college-boy’s safety to chance in order to protect his gang from potential kidnapping charges, Cooper ends up cuffed to Deuce’s bed and he discovers fate has a different solution in mind.

When Cooper McElroy is kidnapped by bikers, he has no idea his life is about to change forever. From the moment he meets their sinfully sexy leader Deuce, he realizes the attraction might be more dangerous than the situation the bikers claim to have saved him from. Kept in an isolated location, Cooper discovers this is one gang that doesn’t seem to have issues with territory—it’s all share and share alike. Cooper’s only protection is Deuce’s order declaring him strictly off limits. But the more time Cooper spends with Deuce, the more his body insists it knows what it wants—so who’s going to save him now?

Cooper’s about to discover a new life on the open road…and what it means to be part of a gang that shares almost everything. Will he continue to seek his freedom or beg the gang to take him on the ride of his life?

Episode I

In this episode, Cooper receives a most unpleasant surprise from his boyfriend, who refuses to take no for an answer. When a stranger intervenes, Cooper finds himself on the back of the stranger's bike and wonders if he's just been pulled from the frying pan only to be tossed straight into the fire.

Don't miss the other installments of Deuce Coop: Taken (Episode 1), Deadlocked (Episode 2), Collision (Episode 3), Dark Desires (Episode 4) Repercussions (Episode 5) and Truth and Consequences (Episode 6)

Continental Divide

Detective Remington frickin' hates the missing persons detail, but a cold fury builds in the pit of his stomach when he realizes that over the past three months six boys have disappeared from the smaller communities that surround the greater Phoenix area. All reported to be runaways looking to escape their shitty lives, but Remy's starting to put together a different picture and he doesn't like it one damn bit.

Inspector Jamie Mainwaring stares at the six reports, willing them to make sense. Six boys, six months, all from just outside of London, which meant six different investigations. All of the boys were between the ages of ten and fifteen, all purportedly runaways from dysfunctional families. Something was rotten in Denmark.

There are always runaways. Every small town loses them--every big city collects them. Kids look for freedom and discover they have more to lose than they ever thought possible. London and Phoenix, culture and cowboys, nothing linking these two sprawling metropolitan areas. Nothing except a hit on a computer data search.

Two cops, one a cowboy, the other a Lord. A secret government agency, human trafficking, and a blazing hot mutual distraction.

This is the first installment in the Separate Ways Series. The books should be enjoyed in the following order:

1. Continental Divide

2. Oceans Apart

3. Moving Mountains

4. Prevailing Winds
