“They are down by the pool. You should be able to corner your little flower down there. I’ll see you at dinner,” Marcus told them, as he strode out the door.

Mike and Keith choose to go to their rooms and wait for Sophie. Nate and Ty followed the walkway until they came upon the pool. Two beautiful women lounged there. Ashton had chosen a cotton candy-pink halter that accentuated her beautiful curvy figure, and Sophie’s tall, blonde good looks were complemented by a turquoise string suit. Just for a moment they paused, and Ty just took in how beautiful their woman was. The effortless innocence was a bigger draw than the most practiced, trained sub could ever be. The pause gave them the opportunity to hear what Sophie was saying to Ashton.

“All right, Ashton. That’s enough of your grouchy-ass pouting. What is going on with you, girl? I know you have been through a lot, but you are deliberately holding yourself away from those men and your happiness—which is your future in case you didn’t realize, dumbass. Why are you doing this? Come on, honey, talk to me,” Sophie whined at her.

Ty knew Sophie always tried to bully, but she would always be a sub through and through, so she always resorted to pleading in the end. It made Ty smile. They’d enjoyed the nonsexual time they had spent training Sophie and knew nothing but pride in helping a friend help achieve peace. Shaking his head to clear these thoughts, he was anxious to refocus on the potential information in this conversation.

Taking a deep breath as if to fortify herself, Ashton spoke aloud to Sophie what she had clearly not even admitted to herself until now. “I’m afraid it’s not real. I’m afraid that at any moment they are going to realize I’m not as special as they think I am right now. That they are going to walk away and never look back, just like everyone in my life has done. I’m not fighting the wedding, I’m just afraid to want this so much. But, oh God, Sophie, it’s too late. I want them so much I feel like I’m dying.”

Breaking down into heart-wrenching sobs, she just folded into herself and wrapped her arms around her waist.

He guessed that Sophie was aware that both of them were listening and when she nodded at them Ty winked a thanks at her for her help. They had confided in the other trio in the hope of gaining some insight into why Ashton was holding herself away from the plans and, even partially, their relationship. They stepped out before Sophie could take Ashton in her arms and offer comfort herself.

His heart broke at the desperation he had heard in Ashton’s voice. Coming around the bushes, he immediately scooped her into his arms and sat on the lounger. Her arms wrapped around his neck in a death grip while her tears ran freely in sorrowful rivulets down his chest. Ty watched Sophie quietly slip away. His eyes met Nate’s over Ashton’s head, and they sandwiched her between them, all the while whispering soft murmurings, hoping she would calm and they could clear up this misconception she had.

When her hiccups finally subsided, Nate began the conversation. “Ashton, this has got to stop. You have to tell us when you are afraid and you have come to talk to us. Why didn’t you explain your fear and worry? You could have been enjoying this process instead of being locked into your feelings of insecurity and hesitation. We love you, Ashton. I love you. If Ty walked away today, I would still love you and want to be with you,” he quietly stated.

Ty took a breath and spoke too. “Honey, I’ve only said I love you to two people my whole life. You and Nathan are it. I love you, Ashton. I will love you and Nate until the day I die and beyond. There will never be anyone else I will love and trust like the two of you. I want forever so badly with you both. I used to hate Christmas until the last couple years. I didn’t even try to make an effort to participate. When I realized how much it meant to Nate I finally tried to stop being an asshole about the whole thing.

“Now I know it’s only a couple of months away and I find myself looking forward to taking you and Nate out shopping and choosing a tree. The things I want for our future are beyond what you and I grew up having. But I want them with the two of you. I want a family so badly that when you started your period a couple weeks ago I cried in the shower. Jesus, I don’t cry for anyone but you both, but I was so sad that you weren’t carrying our baby that I couldn’t keep them back. Fuck, I sound like a pussy, but that’s how I feel. God, Ashton, I want this. Please don’t hold yourself away from us. I need you as much as I need Nate.” Ty’s emotion-filled voice expressed the true depth of his feelings for them both.

“I don’t want to hold myself back from you or this. I want to get married, and I am so tired of being afraid and alone. I didn’t even know what was wrong until Sophie questioned me and it all clicked. I just thought I was mad at you about having to choose between you both, and I still won’t do it, but I can’t bear the thought of a life without you both. Please love me, be my lovers, my husbands and the fathers of my children. I want only you both forever,” Ashton vowed.

Ty reached up, and he untied the halter holding Ashton’s bountiful breasts up. Turing her in his embrace, Ty moved the hair from the nape of her neck and whispered instructions against her perspiration-dampened neck. “Suck Nate’s cock while I taste this sweet little pussy.”

Hooking his fingers into the material of her bikini bottoms, he slid them down her plush ass. Seeing the delicate little dimples, he placed a kiss between the marks and moved down, tonguing her wet folds. Peering up from between her thighs, he was treated to the sight of Ashton’s lips as she engulfed Nate’s cock and immediately start to devour it.

Diving in to taste her syrup, Ty reached down, unbuckling his belt and relieving the pressure that his jeans were causing on his erection. Ty lined his cock up with her soft pussy, and he shoved into paradise. Looking up, he could see Nate’s eyes were clenched tight with his release. He cherished seeing the pleasure his loves took from one another. The ride was short but none the less sweet. Her cunt gripped him like a glove, milking every drop of semen from his balls when she climaxed. At that moment, his world was perfect. He couldn’t believe he would ever be so lucky.

* * * *

Marcus watched from the alcove on the side, unsure how he felt. Part of him was insanely jealous of what Nathan and Ty had found, and yet another part of him was thankful no one would ever have the power to make him so utterly crazy and off-balance as he had witnessed his friends come to be. Observing the trio making love had made his cock harden and lengthen, his self-control strained. His palms itched to stroke his cock. Pulling himself up, he gave the three one last lingering look and retreated.

Going to his study, he sat in his chair behind his desk. Marcus pulled out a picture, one of a young woman from the top draw of his desk, and he couldn’t help but run his fingers over the worn paper that was her face. He held the only reminder he had of the girl he’d loved. She was dead all because of him. Aimee would never grow old, never carry a baby, or graduate from college. All because he’d killed her with his ignorance, his stubborn refusal to see the danger she would put herself into.

Closing his eyes he could almost smell the fragrance of the orange blossoms that clung to her hair and the feel of her delicate skin. Opening his eyes he turned in his chair and looked out at the ocean, and wondered for the millionth time since she’d died what she’d become if she’d been alive. The beauty of the island was a continually painful reminder of her loss. This land was so much like her, breathtakingly beautiful and a force of nature that couldn’t be controlled or always protected.

It still seemed so unfair that Aimee had died. She’d saved him when his life was falling apart after his parents died. Yet he’d been unable to save her. Aimee had loved him despite his faults, a young wide-eyed girl of eighteen should never have loved a twenty-two-year-old spoiled brat. Looking back he couldn’t help but grimace at the memories of himself, nor could he imagine what she’d seen in that arrogant immature young man. But she had seen something the night he went slumming at the small cantina in the islands. When the men at the bar decided to have a go at the rich boy, she didn’t even flinch when she pulled the gun from behind the bar.

Looking back he flinched at the memory. He’d never even thanked her. She’d locked the bar up and helped him up the stairs to her little flat, and she put him to bed. When he’d awakened beside the beautiful young girl he did what he’d always done, take without giving anyone the chance to refuse him. He’d kissed her senseless and made love to her. Only afterwards when he’d cleaned up in the bathroom did he realize that he’d done more than make love to a beautiful young woman. He’d taken her innocence. In his own way he’d tried to make up for it, by showering her with gifts and whisking her to his villa.

Marcus couldn’t help but smile at the barrage of images so clearly imprinted on his brain. The sight of her smiling in the surf, the way the salt water beaded on her beautiful tanned skin and how when he was being a selfish prick her pretty brown eyes would cloud with tears. His breath nearly hitched at how many times he’d made her cry in the few short months they’d been together.

Anger took over the pain, and he was thankful. Marcus had tried to get himself killed many times over during his years in the service, and one night he came to the conclusion this was his punishment. He hadn’t paid nearly enough for his sins. Shaking his head, he desperately tried to clear his mind of the thoughts that wouldn’t help. She was gone and he was stuck here. Looking out he saw Keith, Mike, and their sub Sophie walking along the beach. It served as a reminder he owed these men, and he couldn’t repay his debt hiding in his office, wishing for something that was never going to be anything more than a memory.

Two days later, he watched the wedding go off without a hitch. He owed Nate and Ty more than he could say. They had provided a friendship during a dark and difficult time in his life, and for that he would be forever grateful. The bride was so beautiful, but with a snarky attitude he only caught glimpses of occasionally. But her submission to her men was enviable, and he knew they would be happy. He could see it with their every breath. Part of him acknowledged that he craved such devotion, but knew it wasn’t his to have. He had a penance that would take more than this lifetime to repay.

Epilogue

It was Ashton’s turn to look through the kitchen window as she watched her men bicker over whether the tree they were placing in the garden was tilting too much, and she reached down and caressed her abdomen.

She was so freaking excited she could hardly stand it. She had had Keith do a blood test that morning because she knew the men were tracking her period hoping she was pregnant. Something in her rebelled at the thought that they would find out before her, so she had called Keith and made arrangements for him to come by and draw a sample when the guys were out. She wasn’t due to start for another four or five days, but she wanted to know before they did.

When she got the call she had to hide in the bathroom, and when he told her the news they had been waiting months to hear, she couldn’t stop crying. There was no hiding this information, and they would know because she wasn’t a pretty crier. Her face was probably still splotchy and her nose and eyes red.

Sure enough, Ty caught a glimpse of her first and knew immediately she had been crying. He nearly flew indoors to find out what had happened. Running his hands up and down her arms and looking her over, assessing for injuries or harm to her person, he was almost frantic.

Nate instantaneously started firing questions at her. “What happened? Are you okay? What hurts, baby? Talk to us, now.”

She smiled and laughed, covering both their mouths with her hands to stop them from speaking. Grabbing them each by the hand, she led them over to the large sofa and sat them together, releasing their hands. Looking down at them, she dropped to her knees. She knew her pose was perfection because she had practiced over and over the last few months with Sophie mentoring her.

“Tell us, princess, what’s going on?”

Ashton looked at them, and her eyes burned with unshed tears. Taking a deep breath, she smiled a watery smile and just said it. “I’m pregnant.”

There was a pause, and she was enveloped instantly by both men in an almost bruising embrace, each man kissing every surface on her face, neck, and shoulders and whispering the sweetest phrases.

“We are going to take such good care of you,” Ty whispered emotionally.

“God, baby, you’ve just given us everything we have ever wanted in a matter of a few months. You, and now a baby. Thank you. I know we all wanted this, but you have just given us the world, and for that we will never happier than how we are when we are with you,” Nate vowed.

She watched their hands glide up and down, softly memorizing every detail of her front. Each man’s gaze was full of awe, and their touch was reverent and full of wonder. The men pulled her into their arms and cradled her body in their laps. Each man loved her gently that day, never moving more than a gentle glide, and when each culminated, it was softer and sweeter than ever before knowing the love they shared would always be a gentle dominance that she willingly submitted to.
