Tyler pulled away and dropped his hands.  “Go have fun.  Nathan and I will be here when you get back then we will go out and have some fun on the town.  Miami is supposedly quite lively on New Year’s.”

“Not just New Year
’s, all the time!” Jamie said enthusiastically, throwing her hands to the ceiling.  I smiled and reached up to give him a kiss on the cheek then took off with Jamie, who clearly knew where to go.  Tyler must have filled her in on his surprise.  I think he secretly loved having the inside girl on his side again and was going to use her advice to his advantage for as long as we were together.  I, for once, didn’t mind him talking to Jamie and actually enjoyed how he constantly wanted to contact her about me, and only me.

Jamie and I were about to be pampered to the fullest.  We both had big fluffy robes and our skin felt
rejuvenated after our seaweed baths.  We were on to getting our hair done, sitting next to each other while we were getting shampooed and having our scalps massaged.

“This is the life.  Remind me to thank your boyfriend,” Jamie half moaned.

I giggled.  “He is very thoughtful.”

“Listen to you, all dreamy and dopy eyed.  You two are perfect for each other,” she laughed.

“What?” I asked.

“It was so important
for him to woo you this weekend. He was so excited when he found this place and planned everything for this weekend.  I’m just happy he included me in some of it.”

“So you know what else he has planned?” I asked, excitement creeping
into my voice.

“My lips are sealed.  He loves yo
u a lot Becs.  I would keep him.”  She winked.

“That’s the plan,” I sighed, closing my eyes.  An uneasy feeling came upon my stomach.  I was than
kful Jamie couldn’t see my face because she would have called me out on it.  But I could never tell her about Margo, and I had honestly forgotten about her up until the current feeling in my stomach.  I hoped she would never come and see him again. Not that she knew he was with someone.  Did he tell her we were serious?  He never told me what they talked about.  I know they were stuck in the elevator together for a while; they had to have talked about some things.  I needed to stop thinking about her, but it was so hard.

I didn’t have the
hairdresser do anything different to my hair.  I had her blow it straight, forgoing the curls because that’s how that awful old bitch wore her hair.  I hoped that wasn’t why Tyler loved when I had curls.

I did my nails in a simple French manicure.  I wasn’t sure what outfit I would be wearing, and I secretly wished we had time to go shopping for something new and exciting
in this exotic city.

Once Jamie and I were done being pampered, we decided to go for a walk around the grounds.  We
didn’t go down to the beach yet, and I was kind of happy about that.  I wanted to explore the beach for the first time with Tyler.  Something about the sand and the ocean waves was incredibly romantic, and the thought of him holding my hand while walking on the beach, kissing me under the sunset made my heart beat faster.

“Would you like to buy a headband?”
a little girl quietly asked, taking me out of my thoughts.

She opened up a briefcase and
looked between the two of us then behind us.  If I had to guess, she wasn’t supposed to be on the grounds.

“These are pretty.  Do you make them?” Jamie asked, fingering one of the headbands.

The little girl nodded. She couldn’t have been more than 12 years old.

I looked at the headbands and one caught my eye.  “How much are these?” I asked as I lifted one from the case.  It was stretchy and the beads were tiny, making an intricate diamond shape.  The diamonds were blue and the outsides of them were filled with colorful designs.  It felt like it matched the city perfectly.

“It is eight dollars,” the little girl said, still anxiously looking around.

I reached in my pocket and gave her a ten, telling her to keep the change.  Jamie smiled at me and told the little girl no thank you.
Her face brightened then she ran off, a security guy slowly following her.

“Little shit was illegally peddling and you just supported her,” Jamie s
colded, shaking her head back and forth as though she were shaming me, but she was obviously joking.

What do you think?” I asked holding up the headband.

That headband fits your new personality,” Jamie said nonchalantly.

“What do you mean new personality?”

“The bold, confident, madly-in-love Becca you have grown in to.  I’m so proud,” she sighed, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.  I smiled back at her.  I had become more confident.  And Tyler was the reason why.  He helped me come out of my shell, and he brought out feelings in me I didn’t even know I had.

Chapter 20

Jamie and I walked into
an empty hotel suite.  A note was on the dining table.

Becca-

I hope you enjoyed being pampered.  Nathan and I will be back shortly.

I have more surprises for you in the bedroom.

Love, Ty

Jamie glanced at the note and rolled her eyes.  “You two are so pathetic.  I’m going to go change.”

I grinned at the note and practically ran to our bedroom.  When I opened the door a large bouquet of flowers was on the dresser with another note.

Becca-

I picked out the dress and shoes myself.  I know you will look stunning.  Okay, Nathan helped, but I had the final say.

Love, Ty

I turned to see a beautiful
short navy blue, strapless dress that had silver sequins along the bodice.  I held it up and felt nervous, worried it might not fit.  Thinking about how Tyler knew my dress size was terrifying.  But if the dress was too small, I would be even more mortified.

Also on the bed was a pair of silver peep toe heels.  I tugged off my pampering clothes and went in search
of some sexy lingerie.  To my surprise, when I went to open the drawer I found another note and a wrapped package.

Becca-

I picked this out
without Nathan.  I am praying you will model it for me once the evening is over.

Love, Ty

I pulled the box out of the drawer and gently undid the
bow.  Opening the package, I pulled out a navy blue corset that had jewels along the top and matching see through navy panties with sequins throughout the pelvic bone.  I turned them in my hands to look at the back.  They would definitely show some ass, Tyler’s favorite.  I snapped the corset and slid on the scrap of undies.  My image caught my eye in the full length mirror in the bathroom, and I was drawn to check myself out closer.

Taking a deep breath in, I turned from side to side, running my hand down the corset and to my thighs.  I felt super sexy in this.  I didn’t see my stomach, and the corset helped to trim my waist and hips.
It also made my boobs look awesome.  I ran my fingertips along the tops of my breasts, wanting my fingers to be Tyler’s instead.

Walking back to the bedroom, I took in a deep breath
and cautiously slide on the dress.  The zipper was in the back, and I fumbled my fingers along, praying it would zip.  To my surprise, it fit like a glove.  I let out my breath, happy the dress wasn’t so tight that I wouldn’t be able to breath.

I slide on the peep toe silver shoes then made my way back into the bathroom to see the whole ensemble, but I was missing something.  I needed jewelry.  Maybe Jamie had something on her that would match.  When I turned
, another package caught my eye that was set on the counter in the bathroom.

A knowing smile crossed my lips as I picked up the package.  Fumbling with the wrapping, I finally reached the red Cartier box.

Why did he spend so much money on jewelry for me!

I opened the box and a beautiful sapphire necklace sparkled amongst the soft velvet of the inside of the box.
It was stunning, and with shaky hands I lifted the necklace, feeling how heavy it was.  The sapphire was in a teardrop shape, and had diamonds accentuating its beautiful form.  A platinum chain would hold the pendant in place just above my heart.

I moved my silky brown hair to the side and clasped the necklace.  I added my Christmas present earrings and bracelet, completing my New Year’s Eve outfit.

Jamie walked in wearing a short hot pink dress and matching heels.  She had done her chestnut colored hair in soft curls, and her eyes were bright and full of life.

“Becs, that looks awesome!  I’m surprised you didn’t
want to curl your hair. I thought Tyler liked curls?” she asked.

I internally cringed
while Margo’s face popped in my head.  “I think he likes it straight better.”

“Well either way, you look so hot.  He is going to eat you up toni
ght!  Is that a new necklace?” she asked, reaching to give the sapphire a closer look.

I nodded my head and blushed.  Jamie just smiled.

“That boy is going to spoil you rotten,” she teased.

My face fell.  “I really don’t like how he spends
so much money on gifts.”

Jamie waved me off.  “I know, but let him.
He has enough money and buying you nice things makes him happy.”

“Yeah
, I guess you are right.  Do you know what we are doing tonight?”

“No idea.  Your lover boy wouldn’t say.  I’m sure we will have a ball!  I haven’t had a proper New Year’s Eve in what seems like forever!” Jamie e
xclaimed.

I giggled.  “This will be my first New Year’s Eve actually going out and celebrating.”

“Let’s start the night off with some shots!” Jamie said clapping her hands and pulling me into the kitchen.  Just as we entered, Tyler and Nathan walked through the door.

They were laughing about something
when Tyler turned to look at me. His jaw dropped, and his eyes became heated.  Ignoring Nathan, he licked his lips and walked towards me in the kitchen.  He pinned my front to the counter and kissed the nape of my neck.

“Hi to you too, Tyler,
” Jamie snickered as she searched the cupboards for a shot glass and liquor.  Nathan followed, pulling out a bottle of liquor as though he could read Jamie’s mind.

“Sorry, Tyler has a one track mind lately.  How’s it going B
ecca?” Nathan smiled.

“Hi Nathan.  I’m glad you could join us.”

Tyler grinned then put his arms around my waist.  “Sorry Jamie, I was distracted.  Did you two have a great spa treatment?” he asked, cradling me in his arms, his head resting on my shoulder.

“It was great, thanks.  Next time I wouldn’t mind a massage though,” she winked.

I rolled my eyes at her.  Of course she would request more.

“Did you want a massage?” Tyler whispered in my ear.

I turned to face him.  “I loved everything you set up, thank you,” I said, not wanting him to think I was ungrateful for his gift.  “And thank you for the dress and the jewelry.  It’s beautiful.”

He gave me his flirty smirk while looking down at my chest.  I raised a brow at him and his
not-so-subtle attempt at checking me out.

“You should be thanking me, Becca.  Tyler wouldn’t be able to pick that out on his own.  You should have seen some of the crap he pulled off the rack.  None of it would have fit your figure,” he said waving his hands dramatically in the ai
r.  Jamie turned and gave him a ‘you are so weird’ look.  Nathan playfully pushed her and took the shot glass from her hand.  She gave him a half smile while cocking her head.  They seemed to be acting like old friends.  How much time had they actually been spending together anyway?

Thank you Nathan,” I turned to face him.  Tyler still had his hands on my waist and turned to face him also.

I felt odd by
his comment of “fitting my figure.”  What did he mean exactly?

You are very welcome,” he returned politely, then threw back his shot like a champ.

“Where did you two take off to, anyway?” Jamie asked, pouring another shot.

“Golfing.” Nathan answered, taking a seat at the breakfast bar.  “Have to take advantage of the beautiful weather.”

“I didn’t know you golfed,
” I said to Tyler.

He shrugged his shoulders.  “I’m up for any sport.  Do you play?”

I nodded my head yes.  “Well-bred girl, remember?  Golf and tennis were a must,” I sighed.

Tyler’s eyes lit up.

“I hate sports,” Jamie grumbled.  “I have dated too many guys who were obsessed.  I can’t stand ESPN.”

I snuggled Tyler, thinking in my head how I loved his small addiction to sports.  It made him se
em manly.  He never once turned on the TV at an inappropriate time to check the score of a game.  I don’t know a lot of men like that when it came to spending time with their muse.
