The
first of the two alpha levels housed a control panel that included every feed
from the monitors of the surveillance rooms. Another conference room for
meetings with ranked wolves was next to the control panel area. There was a
mid-sized table surrounded by six leather chairs and one large monitor for
presentations. On the top level of the
Convel
sector
of HQ, Tim was presented with an office ten times bigger than his office at the
main house on the
Ulric
grounds.

There
was an enormous metallic desk that had to be over ten feet, which sat near the
far wall with a leather chair behind it. Three large touch screen computer
monitors were stationed on the desk with a smartphone and tablet sitting in
front of them. Mira drew the blinds that were directly behind the desk, and the
beautiful vision that was downtown Seurri could be seen at almost every angle.
To the left of his desk, there was a full bar complete with a small cook-top
and large refrigerator. A tan suede couch was across the room, to the right of
the desk, with two matching high-back chairs sitting in front of it. A
fireplace was next to the sitting area with a plasma flat screen TV above the
mantle.

"As
you can see, the office is set for comfort as well as work. With the pack doing
most of the surveillance and security work, the alpha spends many nights here
in the office. So the couch does unfold into a plush bed, and the bedding is
housed in the closet near the bar. If you like, we can change out the furniture
to meet your needs, sir," Mira stated.

Tim
looked around the room, and considering he didn't know the first thing about
being part of the security detail, everything appeared to be in order. There
was one thing that did stick out as a problem though.
The
stench
.
Everything in the office reminded him of the wolf that he had
clenched between his jaws only hours prior.
Camden
.

"Mira,
I want to put in an order for a new desk. Something
more
woodsy
.
The same with the couch and chairs.
As
a matter of fact, change it all. I want to feel like I am near the lake when I
enter my office, especially if it's to be my second home."

Mira
noted everything on her tablet. "Everything should be taken care of in a
few weeks, alpha."
A few weeks?
What
kind of operation were they running in
Convel
?

"What
am I to do without an office for a few weeks? That won't work." Getting
things done in a timely fashion was Tim's expertise, but it wasn't his job
anymore. He looked at the confused face of Mira thinking that she was so sure
of herself before he got there, but now he had crushed her sense of security.
To know one's job was a big thing in Seurri. Every wolf had a purpose, at least
that was the motto of
Ulric
, and he planned on making
it the new
Convel
creed.

"Mira,
I have a present for you," he stated with a smile.

"A present?
I'm confused, alpha," she stammered.

Tim
tightly gripped the touch screen tablet that he used to run the day to day of
Ulric
in his hands. It was his crutch. His electronic
assistant that helped him put out fires every day. His tablet was the one thing
that aided the major feat of filling a closet full of women's designer fashions
within mere hours. It was his life force, but it also was his past.

"Hand
me your tablet, please," he ordered. Without incident, Mira handed hers
over to Tim. Within a matter of moments, he attached a USB cord linking the two
devices. Tim was able to move all the information that she needed from his hard
drive over to hers. There was no use in giving her a duplicate file when he
could just move the entire file, subsequently deleting it from his device. He
wouldn't need it any longer. It made him nervous to think that his past life
was sitting in the freshly manicured hands of a prissy little wolf that
probably knew nothing of planting seeds in a garden, pointing out weaknesses in
a home's foundation, or playing around in the mud with smaller cubs on rainy
days. Mira had it all, because his all was contained in a few files on an
electronic device that she now owned. He needed to trust that she would do
well.

Mira
restarted her tablet and squealed when she saw the databases, spreadsheets, and
contact lists that he had set up in his years as house manager.

"You'll
be able to find everything that you need now, to make the office that I want
within the next few hours if necessary. But I'll allow three days. I won't be
here in the office much since I'll be checking out the home life first."
Mira nodded her head in agreement.

"What
else is on this floor?" he asked.

"The
beta office," she murmured.

"Sloane?"

"Yes,"
she answered.

Tim
began to rumble inside with a deep growl. His wolf was ready to attack again.
Sloane was Camden's beta not
his,
and he would see
that it remained that way. Sloane had helped Camden kidnap
Theana
.
He could smell his scent in the prints left at the scene. Tim's claws extended,
and he could feel the shift coming. His anger began to soar, and then he caught
sight of Mira, who was visibly trembling.

"Did
I do something wrong, alpha? I'll have the office ready in a few hours. I can
make it happen." Her voice was shaken from terror.

Tim
began to calm himself and control his temper. He was past being angry with
Camden and his small team of wolves. Disgust was what ran through his body when
he thought of them.

"I'm
sorry, Mira. I didn't mean to scare you. I was just pissed at everything that's
happening right now." He patted her shoulder, and he sensed her becoming
relaxed. "When will the Council meeting start?" He changed the focus
to ease her nerves.

"It
will begin in about an hour."

"Okay,
great. You go work on contacting those vendors, and I will hang-out in the
office until it's time," Tim offered. Mira quickly scurried off, which
made him laugh to himself. Tim was pretty laid back. A relaxed natured guy, but
now as an alpha his presence was commanding and dominant whether he liked it or
not.

He
walked over to the wall of windows and looked out upon the town. Just a few
hours ago, a wolf's life had hung in the balance under his mighty grip, but
life was going on outside the walls of Seurri HQ like nothing happened. People
were shopping. Pups were in school. The sun was bright, and the weather was
nice.
A normal day
.
Since he was on the
sixtieth floor, he could see the stadium off in the distance. The banners were
being changed for the upcoming regional soccer tournament. Next to the stadium
was his old home. He loved everything about
Ulric
so
much that anything outside of it he had been blind to. When he looked upon it
earlier when he was driving into town the light had dimmed that once ran
bright. The main house appeared dull, and the wooded area behind it was gray. A
bright light did sparkle in the corner of his eye.
Convel
land.
He remembered
that every building looked like dew was covering every inch of each building.
So vibrant and rich in color.
High
definition.
Tim's heart began to beat almost pounding inside of his
chest. His pulse increased, and his wolf began to wag its tail and wail for his
new home.
His only home.
Standing in that office,
looking in the direction of land, he was in love.
In love
with
Convel
.

Chapter Fifteen

When
Rafael and Gregori left
Theana
sleeping in the bed to
shower and get ready for the judgment Council meeting, the last thing they
expected was
Theana
to jump in the communal shower
between the two of them. Before there was any reasoning to be had, she beckoned
both of them to her naked, wet body. With both of their pulsing cocks in each
one of her hands, there was no argument to be made. She was feeling better and
would accompany them to the Council meeting.
Her first.

After
a modest amount of lustful water play, the three separated to their respective
closets to dress. When they met in the bedroom once done, they were amazed at
how all three color palettes complemented each other.

Theana
was draped in a sleek black wrap dress with a white and red
corded belt that circled her waist. Her cocoa dusted breasts were giving a show
of her crimson lace bra poking out the split neckline that
wrapdresses
and tops tended to result in. A tennis bracelet covered in black and white
diamonds, which Gregori had ordered, matched perfectly with the medium hoop
earrings with the same jewel pattern that Rafael ordered. Even though
professional, the onyx peep-toe pumps that she sported, curved her calves in
the most exquisite manner. Rafael wanted to throw her on the bed and suck and
drink every inch and ounce of her coffee tinted flesh. Gregori was next with a
simple black suit, white shirt, and black tie. His pocket square was a deep red
lined in white. Rafael was donning a black on black pinstripe suit with a red
tie and white pocket square. The three met in the middle, and their scents
began to mix in the perfect array of their favorite seasons—fall, winter, and
spring.
Mates together forever.

Rafael
was filled with several emotions at once, as Gregori drove the trio to Seurri
HQ. So many things had transpired over the last few days. He and his beta had
found their mate. Who would've thought that she would be one for them to share?
He pulled
Theana
closer to his side as to meld her
into his skin. Her hair was still damp, so she gave off the aura of sunbathing
in a flower bed after a spring shower. Rafael finally felt complete. His beta
had filled most of his void with their brotherhood that spanned past the roles
of inferior and superior. They were two perfect parts like two halves of a
circle similar to the half moon bite marks that displayed on their mate.
Theana
was the band that connected the two pieces for life.
The three would be inseparable. Rafael would make sure that she was as much a leader
as he when it came to business and personal pack affairs.

Gregori
drove past the
Convel
lands. "Can you believe
it?" he huffed.

"Yes,
I can. It's hard to believe that a strong alpha that made his mark as a vital
piece of this town, of our total operation, will be punished. But I always knew
Tim would lead. He runs
Ulric
like it's the fucking
White House." Rafael chuckled.

"The White House?"
Theana
purred into
Rafael's neck giving him chills up his spine. "So, does that make me the
First Lady?"

"Yes,"
Rafael answered then nipped at her nose. "And I am the President."

"Well,
who the hell am I then?" Gregori shouted taking his eyes of the road to
look at them.

"You
are going to be a dead wolf if you don't keep your damn eyes on the road,"
Rafael fired back. Gregori grumbled and returned to driving.

"That's
okay, my beta,"
Theana
whispered after she
leaned toward the front driver seat. "While the President is away, the
Vice shall play." She brushed her lips across his neck,
then
returned to her seat next to Rafael. Their bond was amazing. She was amazing.
Theana
, within only days, had learned to share herself
equally between the two demanding men, but his heart wondered. Was it nature
that was making her comply, or was she truly accepting of her claim? After a
few minutes of driving in light traffic, Gregori pulled into the parking lot of
HQ and parked in their assigned spot.

Normally
Council meetings would take place in the main conference room on the
Ulric
level, but the events of the day were different. It
was judgment day. Those days were a rarity among the peaceful community of
Seurri. As a matter of fact, the last judgment that they delivered had involved
Camden becoming the alpha of
Convel
after the murder
of his brother, the former alpha.

When
such a Council meeting as a judgment was called to order, Rafael requested not
only the alphas and betas to be present, but the other ranked wolves and elders
of each clan. To fit the influx of Seurri inhabitants, they used the large
auditorium that could seat two thousand wolves comfortably. Alphas and betas
would take the stage with Rafael and
Theana
in the
center and Gregori behind them. Walter would be to his right as alpha of
Dolphus
, and Tim would be to
Theana's
left as new alpha of
Convel
. Rafael took a brief
moment to think of that arrangement. He would be surrounded by the tightest of
familial circles. Wife to his left, brother to his back, father to his right,
and his son to left of
Theana
.
Perfection.
Rafael couldn't ask for a better result, but he had to focus.

It
was a day of careful pondering. Camden was a strong powerful wolf, and Rafael had
no doubt that Tim would be able to fill the position as alpha wonderfully. Still,
to lose one of their own was always a blow. Camden made a terrible error in
judgment, tampering with what was claimed as Rafael’s, and he would be dealt
with. The punishment would be notably harsh, but also fair. Camden was a fallen
comrade in the ranks of Seurri, and Rafael would treat him as such. The former
alpha was pivotal in keeping the community safe, and in a time like the current
one, when there was a murderous group about, the people could possibly receive
the change negatively.
