I freeze where I am and he wraps his arms around me while chuckling before he peppers my neck with kisses.

“Sleep,
moyo zolotse
” he murmurs sleepily.

I don’t sleep. My whole body explodes with emotion. It has been ten years since I have heard those words escape his lips. I feel the exact same way now as I did when I was eighteen years old, hearing them. I feel like my heart is going to explode with love.

This man owns me.

Maybe he was trying to hide who he was in the beginning; maybe we started all wrong together, but there is love between us. I feel it now. I know it now. It’s bright and colorful and—
perfect
.

I have to find out what Agent Green wants, why he’s been trying to get at Kirill. Now, I’m more determined than ever to help him. I just won’t tell Kirill about it.

Is it stupid?
Yes
.

Am I still going to do it?
Yes
.

M
Y EYELIDS FLUTTER OPEN
just as something warm and wet lands on my pussy. I gasp when I feel my clit being sucked on and I look down to see Kirill between my legs. I moan when his wet tongue slides inside of my pussy. I wrap my fingers in his hair and rock my hips closer to his face and rub against his soft beard. Fuck, my thighs are going to be red from his facial hair, but I could care less. He feels too good for that to bother me.

“Kirill,
oh god
,” I breathe heavily as I pull him closer to me, needing everything he can give me.

I come on a low, deep groan, his tongue flicking my clit.

“On your stomach, Tati,” he whispers against my belly as he places gentle kisses across my lower stomach.

I do as he asks. How can I not? He’s just woke me up the best way a girl can be—
even better than coffee.

Kirill grabs my hips and wrenches them back so that I am on my knees. I feel his cock between my ass cheeks before it slips through my pussy, and then he slowly sinks inside of me.

“Come up,
krushka
,” he demands huskily.

“Yes, sir,” I reply, doing as he asks and rising up, my back against his chest.

“You’re a smartass,” he mumbles as his hand roughly grabs my breast. He squeezes before he pinches my nipple and tugs. I inhale sharply before I wrap my hand around the back of his neck.

Kirill doesn’t say a word as he fucks me, the sound of our breathing and his low grunts filling the room. His face is buried in my neck as he takes me. I whimper when his fingers make contact with my clit. When I detonate, he’s close behind me. My entire body slumps forward and I’m grateful for his arms holding me up.

“Good morning,” he murmurs against my sweat soaked neck.

“Can every morning be like this?” I laugh.

“I am working from home today, otherwise I would have already been up and gone,” he murmurs as he lays me down and slides out of me.

He starts to get off of the bed and I roll to my side, grabbing onto his arm to stop him. He looks at me with question, but I don’t falter in my mission. I climb onto him, straddling his front, wrapping my legs around his back and throwing my arms around his neck.

“What’s this, then?” he asks as he runs his fingers up and down my spine.

“This,
this
is for taking another chance on me, Kirill. I know it has been incredibly difficult to try and forgive me, to try and move past the hurt I caused you,” I murmur before I tip my chin down and take his lips in a hard kiss.

Kirill’s fingertips travel down to my ass and then dig into my flesh as the kiss deepens between us. I rub my still wet center over his semi-hard cock as I graze my nipples against his chest. My body is on overdrive—hyper sensitive. I want him to touch me everywhere.

“How do you do it, huh, Tatyana?” he asks.

I look at him in confusion, unsure of what exactly he’s asking me. He takes a breath before he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear, his other hand still digging into the flesh of my tender ass.

“I was prepared to hate you forever. I didn’t want to really look into your eyes ever again. Yet, here I am. A fucking idiot for you all over again, as if the past ten years never happened. You are
moyo zoloste
, you always have been.
Fuck
, why can I not hate you? Huh?” he asks, looking almost angry, and definitely frustrated.

“For the same reason I took one look at you and I was willing to leave my entire life in Frisco behind for you. The reason I didn’t fight you. Because we’re fated for each other, Kirill. I wanted to hate you when you told me about that fucking contract for marriage. I was so angry, and yet, one look in those eyes of yours and I was willing to forgive it all.”

“We are so fucked,” he chuckles. I nod in agreement.

“How did all of this happen to us? We were supposed to live happily ever after,” I murmur. He snorts.

“No happily ever after’s in this life, Tati. We’ll be happy. We have our girl, and now we have each other, but this will not be a fairytale life. It is not possible. I’m not a fucking prince, for starters.”

“You’ve always been my prince.” I smile widely.

“You’re fucking crazy, just like your father,” he shakes his head.

“Will I ever know him? My father?” I ask.

“Sooner than later. Yes, Tati, you will know the great Mr. Orlov.”

Without another word, he pats my ass and removes me from his body. I look over at the clock and notice that it is seven in the morning.

I watch him walk his gloriously naked, tattooed body into the bathroom. Then, I get up and throw something on so that I can make breakfast. Kiska is a decently early riser, so I know that she will be awake soon, and hungry.

I sigh as I finish cleaning up breakfast. Kirill chose not to join us, claiming he had work to do. I figured this much was true. He
had
been locked in his office all morning. I pile a plate with what is left over from our meal and make his favorite coffee, which is not hard, since his favorite is black with only one sugar.

Kiska leaves, heading to her room, claiming to be at the best part of her newest read, and I allow it. She will be starting a new school in a few days and she deserves to laze around the house until then.

I don’t bother knocking on Kirill’s office door. My hands are full, and in all honesty, I figure he is just working on his computer or on the phone. My plan is to just leave the food and coffee for him, then take myself out to the pool and enjoy the Hollywood sunshine.

Those plans are foiled as soon as the door swings open and I see Sabina and Kirill standing very close together. His hands are on her hips and her tits are pressed close to his, her head tipped back and inching forward for a kiss. Neither of them hear me, both seemingly lost in their own world.

Then she speaks. I don’t understand a word, since it is all Russian. He grins before replying to her words, and they look intimate. I hate it. I hate every single aspect of it. Mostly, because they look fucking phenomenal together.

Still, I didn’t move.

Not when her lips touch his.

Not when his hands on her hips tighten and he waits several beats before he pushes her away.

Not when she looks up at him in surprise.

I am completely cemented to my spot. Unable to move a single muscle. My hands still holding onto his breakfast and coffee.

“You’re pushing me away for that whore?” she sneers.

I should turn and leave, this is obviously private between lovers, not meant for my eyes.

“The only whore I see is you, Sabina,” he grunts.

“You had no problem fucking this whore, Kirill,” she points out.

Kirill doesn’t waste a second. He throws back his head and barks out a harsh laugh before his eyes settle on hers and his voice lowers.

“I fucked you because you spread your legs and you were convenient. Doesn’t mean I would ever make you more than exactly that, a convenient fuck. You got your job because your father is
Bratva
; you kept it because you spread your legs. Nothing more and nothing less, Sabina. I feel for you as I would feel for any prostitute,” he shrugs.

I feel sorry for her. I’ve been on the receiving end of Kirill’s cruel words, and they cut like a knife every damn time. I also feel completely shitty for watching this whole thing go down. I should try to quietly sneak out of the room. I take a step back to do just that when Kirill speaks again.

“Do not leave, Tati,” he murmurs, but he’s looking right at Sabina. Her angry gaze turns to me and her eyes narrow.

“Please,
Tati
, stay. I was just leaving,” she huffs as she begins to walk toward me.

“And Sabina?” Kirill grunts.

She doesn’t acknowledge him but she freezes in her spot. Her eyes still narrowed and very much focused on me.

“Your services are no longer needed. You’re fired. I’ll contact your father and inform him that it was nothing you did, per say.”

Sabina gives a stiff nod and then continues to walk in my direction. I’m grateful that she doesn’t bump me and spill hot coffee all over my pajamas. Without a word, she leaves the room. I wince when I hear the front door slam.

“You knew I was here,” I say as soon as her dramatic exit is over.

“I knew you were here the second you turned the knob. It is my job to be aware of my surroundings,” he shrugs.

I walk over to his desk and set his food and coffee down. He grabs me around the waist and pulls me into his chest, my back colliding with his hard muscle. Then his lips find my shoulder before I turn in his arms. I want to look into his eyes. He gives so much away with them, even if I don’t always understand what it is.

“Did you mean all of it?” I ask, looking into the storm of his eyes, raging with emotions.

“I meant every word. Convenience is all she was, nothing more. Perhaps because of her father’s position in the organization she thought she would get further with me. I do not know. I’m a busy man. I don’t have time to date, and I have no desire to. I was too busy mourning my family to feel anything other than physical gratification for another person. You can understand this, no?”

I think about his words. Though a bit crueler than mine, they are exactly how I have felt these past years. The men I shared my bed with were nothing but convenience. I never felt anything for them because I was still in love with Kirill.

“You still have her lipstick on your mouth,” I murmur. He shakes his head before releasing my hip with one hand taking a handkerchief out of his pocket. He wipes his mouth then smirks at me before he winks.

“I meant it last night when I said we would be happy,
krushka
. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I assume me fucking other women would make you about as happy as you fucking other men would make me?” he asks arching a brow. I can’t hide my reaction. I giggle. Like a school girl, I giggle.

“You are correct, Kirill. It would not make me happy if you fucked Sabina, or any other woman on the earth aside from me,” I grin.

“It’s good I fired her then. I don’t think she would have ever stopped trying to seduce me,” he mumbles.

I stare at him in surprise before I smile.

“Seduce you?” I ask.

“Yes. You’d be surprised how many women really want me, Tati. I’m a hot commodity.”
