“Oh, you’re so bad,” I replied with a grin, trying to hide my embarrassment.

It was getting late when we left the restaurant, so JC drove me back to my villa on his motorcycle.

He walked me to my door and politely asked if there was a possibility that we could meet on the beach again that evening? Of course I said yes immediately. He kissed me good-bye, his experienced tongue provoking me and leaving me wanting more.

As soon I entered the house, Madi pounced on me with questions. I had no choice but to answer; she wasn’t the type to back off when she really wanted to know something. I told her almost everything. I still didn’t share our sunrise at the beach, and I didn’t tell her that he had asked me out again tonight. I hope she’d understand.

Later that evening, Madi and I went shopping with my mother and Alessandro in the village and had dinner there too. I was so distracted thinking of him that my mother noticed and asked what was wrong, but I quickly said that I was simply enamored with the island. She looked at me curiously, but she let it go.

It seemed to take forever for night to come. Again, I was scared of being caught in the act but fortunately, I made it out without incident. JC was on the veranda and greeted me with the most intense kiss yet. His hands held me firmly in place while his tongue took mine prisoner in teasing circles and bites that felt indescribably erotic.

JC finally broke the kiss. His hands were under my blouse, massaging my waist. I could not think clearly. JC’s eyes roamed over my face, studying my reactions. He moved his face closer until our mouths were almost touching. He looked at my eyes then my lips, his gaze and smile were extremely sexy.

“I missed you,
Cielo
,” he whispered, without waiting for my reply, he took my hand and walked me to the beach. This time there was no bonfire, just a blanket lying on the sand. JC suddenly knelt before me, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me down on top of him. I fell over his firm chest, his arms circled my body and his lips connected with my neck. I moaned in pleasure.

He raised his body into a sitting position, still holding me in his arms and kissing my neck nonstop. With one hand, he gently pushed my legs apart so that I was straddling his hips. My skirt was now up around my waist. His lips found mine, and his tongue opened them to enter my mouth, devouring me.

While he was kissing me, his fingers traced my inner thighs, seeking a way to pass my underwear and get to the flesh of my sex. I was so confused; no one had ever touched me there before. I was unsure of what to do. I didn’t know if I should stop him or let him get his way.

Before I could make up my mind, his index finger moved along the edge of my panties and he pushed them aside. He rubbed the back of his hand over me, stimulating the private part no one had touched before. I was so turned on that I felt a hot liquid coming out from my sex and onto his hand.

JC moaned in my mouth when he felt my heat. He deepened the kiss even more while his finger found my clit and circled it repeatedly. Instinctively, my hips reacted to his touch, and I thrust myself against his hand, each movement leading me to the peak of the highest, most intense sexual stimulation.

I broke the kiss to breathe just a second before I exploded into a million of pieces of delight, and I cried out in pleasure. When the aftershocks subsided, I felt as if my body were floating. Then we lay down, his arm as a cushion to my head, my right leg wrapped onto his. I closed my eyes and curled up against him, I drifted off.

CHAPTER NINE

When I woke up, it was still night. JC had wrapped his hands around my belly and my backside was nestled against his firm body. JC was there with me, holding me protectively. I felt safe with him.

“Hello, sleeping beauty,” JC said just as I looked up into his eyes. “I was just about to kiss you, to break the spell I put on you,” he said with that devilish smile that I loved. I blushed.

He could see me under the moonlight. “Oh, baby, you look so beautiful when you blush,” he teased. I slapped his arm playfully and tried to roll away from him, but he caught me and pulled me towards him again.

JC gently laid me on the blanket and positioned himself over me, pushing his hips against my sex, letting me feel his hardness. I felt myself tense up. It was one thing to fool around and let him touch me, but clearly he wanted more than that and I wasn’t ready. How could I explain that I want to wait until I was married without sounding too awkward?

But before I could say anything, he rolled off me and searched my eyes.

“I want you, Sky, I want you so badly,” he whispered, his voice hoarse. “I want to be inside of you, I’m aching for you.” My heart skipped a beat with his words; he clearly noticed. He leaned down and tenderly kissed me. “But I don’t want to pressure you, Sky. I want you to give yourself freely to me, I can wait.”

Before I could reply, he stood up, pulling me up with him. “It’s late,
Cielo
, you need to rest. Come on, I’ll walk you to your door.” He put his hand through his hair. Oh man, he looked so sexy, confused and uncomfortable at the same time. I wanted to say something to make him feel better. Why was it so hard to explain the importance of waiting until marriage? I was tongue tied, and before I knew it we were at my door. We kissed.

“I’ll call you tomorrow,
bella
.” Then, just like that he left. I felt a pang of discomfort seeing him leave like this. I wanted to explain myself to him; I wanted to be with him, I wanted to go with him.

Damn, Skylar! You’re crazy! You barely know him,
I said to myself as I entered the villa.

The next morning my mother was pale and looked tired.

“Mom, you look like shit,” I said to her.

She looked at me with disapproval. “Watch your language Skylar,” she replied, clearly annoyed at me. “And yes, I feel a little tired, that’s all,” she added, but her smile looked forced.

“What are we doing today for fun?” Madi asked.

“I’ll take a rain check for today, you all can go and have fun,” my mother said. “I’ll stay and rest for the day so I can enjoy the next few days on the island. Maybe we can go out to dinner tonight.”

Again, I felt the same pang of discomfort that I had felt last night when JC left. I brushed it away and went to my room to get ready for whatever plans Madi had for today.

We were on our way to Canelle Beach when my phone rang. It was him. I immediately answered in my sexiest tone of voice. “Good morning, handsome.”

Madi looked at me with her eyebrow raised in surprise. I turned my back on her so I could concentrate.

“Good morning,
bella
. Did you dream of me?” I heard the amusement in his voice.

“Yes.” I blushed and thanked God that I had my back to Madi.

“What did you dream of me,
bella
? Was it a good dream or a bad dream?”

“Definitely, it was a good dream.”

“Tell me about it,
bella
.”

“I don’t kiss and tell.”

“Oh, that’s good. I’m glad, baby. Whatever your dream was about, it’ll be better in real life, I promise,” he whispered, his voice sending shivers throughout me. “So how is your day so far?” he asked.

“Pretty lazy day so far.”

“I’m glad … Do you have plans for lunch?”

“No, I don’t.”

“Have lunch with me, then.”

“Okay,” I said, thrilled at the offer.

“Thank you.” He exhaled audibly.

“Can we meet on Canelle Beach? I’m on my way there now,” I asked.

“Of course,
bella
, I’ll be there in five,” he said and hung up.

I looked over at Madison, who did not look pleased. “Oh, no, Skylar, you’re not ditching me for that hot Italian
again
?”

“Please, Madison, he invited me to lunch. I really,
really
want to go.”

“Damn you, Skylar, you’re the one who is having all the fun,” she said, and for a moment, I felt truly guilty. “But that’s okay,” she continued. “It’s your birthday, you deserve the adventure. Just remember, you will owe me big time, Bitch.” We both laughed and hurried to Canelle Beach.

When we arrived, JC was parked under the shadow of a tree, waiting for me. Madison said a quick goodbye and I walked over to JC, who was leaning casually against his motorcycle. His arms were crossed over his chest, showing his ripped muscles, those worn out jeans—
Oh, only he can make them look so sexy!
His gaze swept me from head to toe. My white two-piece swimsuit under my crocheted white mini-skirt left little to the imagination, and I suddenly felt shy.

When I was just a few feet away from him, he launched towards me like an animal pouncing on its prey. His lips sealed over mine. He took my mouth with suppressed violence while his arms crushed around me and lifted me off the ground. He carried me toward his bike and sat me on it, still savoring my mouth with his tongue.

“It drives me crazy seeing you dressed like this,” he growled, and I whimpered in response.

We had lunch at the pizzeria. JC was surprisingly moody, talking only when I asked him a direct question. I wasn’t sure what was going on in his mind, and I was a little nervous about asking. We finished our lunch and left the pizzeria. He took my hand and we walked by the harbor toward the Saracen tower. I stared at the bright turquoise water, a true aquamarine color above the reefs, so beautiful.

“Just like your eyes,” JC said, breaking the silence and surprising me. “The color of the water is just like the color of your eyes,” he explained and smiled.

“Is that a statement or a compliment?” I asked, relieved to see him smiling again.

“Both.”

We kept walking in direction to the tower without another word. We reached the tower, JC began telling me the history of the tower, saying that it had been subjected to a number of pirate attacks.

“PIRATES!” I exclaimed. “Oooh, I love pirates!” I squealed, looking around in excitement.

JC laughed at my reaction, and I flushed with embarrassment. I must have sounded like a little kid. I could not hide my hurt feelings; I narrowed my eyes at him and crossed my arms over my chest, letting him know that I was not pleased with his taunting. I turned my back to him, and he immediately stopped laughing. Then I heard him striding towards me. He grabbed me from behind and kissed my neck. Then he turned my head to the side so he could kiss my mouth.

JC deepened the kiss and walked me across the street, pressing my front against the rock wall. Our tongues danced together a dirty, sensual dance while his hands caressed my belly.

“JC, I—”

He did not let me finish. “Shhhh,” he moaned, his agitated breaths arousing a fire in me. “You drive me crazy. I’m craving you, I’m aching for you.” He pushed his hips forward. I could feel his hardness against my behind.

Oh God! My entire body entered a state of ecstasy. I could feel myself growing wet. I whimpered in his arms, my legs felt all wobbly. JC stopped kissing me, turned me around, and searched my face.

“Hey,” he said, trying to catch my attention, but I evaded his eyes. “You okay?” he asked.

I lifted my eyes to meet his; he cupped my face with both his hands slightly.

“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to upset you; it’s just that I have never met a girl who was so fascinated with pirates,” he explained. “I just can’t believe I have found someone who loves pirates like I do.”

Did he say he loved pirates? I bet he only said it to make me feel better.

“That was my favorite thing to play when I was a kid,” he added.

My eyes widened in surprise. Was he telling the truth?

“Me too,” I admitted sheepishly. “My best friend hates the fact that I love pirates, she tells me that I’m a dork.” I said. “I’m so into pirates that when I was I kid every year in Halloween, I dressed as a pirate boy. My poor mother wanted me to dress as something else, but she never could persuade me to change my mind.” I giggled breathlessly.

JC had his hands wrapped around me as I talked. I paused and tried to calm down. JC was listening attentively.

Feeling daring, I added, “This year I’m going to be a sexy girl pirate.”

He raised his eyebrows. “I would give anything to see you dressed as a sexy girl pirate.”

I smiled. “Maybe you should come to the States. Visit me any time of the year; I could dress up just for you.”

He chuckled at me.

“That’s not such a bad idea,
Cielo
. Thank you for the invite.” JC leaned down and kissed me passionately, leaving me wanting more. “Now that we are okay, let’s finish our tour.”

“First tell me why you call me
Cielo
, what does that mean?”

Cielo
is the meaning of sky, your name in Italian.”

Oh … That is sweet. “Thank you. I like it.”

He pinched the tip of my nose. “You’re welcome.”

CHAPTER TEN

We walked around the tower and admired the stone terrace and parapet. I took tons of pictures; I wanted to capture every moment of our time together. We couldn’t go inside the tower since you needed permission from the city, but JC continued telling me about the Saracens’ pirate fleet, and I enjoyed myself. I felt better about confessing my obsession with pirates to him. Holding hands, we walked back to his motorcycle.

“How about some gelato? Nobody makes ice cream like we Italians.”

I waved him off. “Oh, I couldn’t. I’m so stuffed already.”

He smiled suggestively. “We could share. You could always lick the gelato from my lips.”

Oh, my.
We just stared at each other for a moment, smiling. I felt an aching feeling again between my thighs.

Holding my face firmly, he gently slipped his tongue inside my mouth and sucked on my lips. My toes curled, and when he spoke to me, he talked through clenched teeth, as if he were in pain.

“I can see in your eyes you want me like I want you. The heat in your hands exposes your desire. It is like a fire that reaches the sky. I am yearning to have you entwined with my body,
Cielo
, so we could burn in pleasure together.”

I nodded at him and forced myself to take a breath. “Yes, I feel it too, JC.”
